To Love, Honor, and Obey... (Fated for Love) (24 page)

“I have young sisters, but I've never had to care for them beyond the usual brotherly stuff
,” Colton added as he stepped back to let Dominic take his shot. “I'm trusting Olivia to educate me. All I'm good for is begetting them.”

“Watch it
,” Devon growled at him. “I'll vomit all over this fine felt.”

The rest of the men chuckled.

“In all seriousness, I've never been more happy and scared in my life. I'd rather be in a knife fight with no knife than see Lilly in pain,” Dominic sighed warily.

The men nodded in agreement.

Chance stepped back. “I'm glad I'm not a woman.”

“I'll drink to that.” Devon picked up his glass and took a gulp.

“What do you suppose they are talking about right now?” Colton stroked his chin.

“Us
,” Devon said confidently.

They looked at each other warily. “We probably shouldn't leave them alone much longer.” Dominic put his cue down and finished the last of his drink.

“If I know my wife, she probably had her ladies maid come down to give lessons,” Chance muttered.

“What so
rt of lessons?” Devon asked as he shrugged into his jacket.

“The sort of lessons that have earned her two pay increases in the last six months.”

Dear Reader,

I really hope you
enjoyed this book and my Fated for Love Series (if you read the other books.) If you haven't, check them out! I started this series 9 years ago (as of 2014) and it was always meant to be a series. Yep, I've had these characters in my head that long! It wasn't until 2012, shortly after the birth of my son, that I got serious about writing again and publishing my work myself. It has been an amazing journey, not because I've struck it rich or am a famous author—I'm neither of those things, but because I finished something not even I thought I could do. That alone makes it worth it. I had a dream and I reached it. These books will always have a special place in my heart because of that. Thank you for being a part of my dream.

About the Author

I have been obsessively reading romance novels since I was fourteen. Every few months, my aunt would send a box of books to my older sister, who was not nearly as interested in reading, and I would sneak out the romance novels. I started writing my own stories to appease my imagination, until I had the means and transportation to buy my own books. I have given oral reports on them in school, and I have been in trouble plenty of times for reading during lectures. I live in Southern California with my husband, my son, and our fur babies. It is my dream to be at home with my son, and to write love stories that I can share with readers like me.
Mine, All Mine
was my beginning, and there is so much more to come!

Dedication

I dedicate this book to my fellow authors. Writing a book is hard, it's even harder trying to sell it and/or finding people to read it. We leave a piece of ourselves inside each book, which makes it all the more difficult to put it out there for other people to judge. I'm inspired by author
’s everyday just from hearing about their stories and struggles, and also reading their books. Thank you for sharing yourselves with me through your writing.
