Unwelcome Reunions (His Dirty Secret Book 3) (7 page)

“I just fucked you into an orgasm. Wasn’t that nice enough for you?”

She pretended to think carefully for a second. “Hmm, I suppose you could try and do it again and I would probably think that you were the nicest thing since hot chocolate and whipped cream.” Why did she feel so guilty about saying that? Why did it feel so wrong, but so wonderfully right all at the same time?

“Now that sounds like it has distinct possibilities.” He wiggled his eyebrows lasciviously at her and she laughed again. Tyler always wiggled his eyebrows at her, so she must be with him. Right?

“Maybe you could let me fuck you while you’re tied up.” Yep, that was definitely Tyler. Although on second thoughts, he wouldn’t have asked her permission to tie her up. “And then I can call all my friends in here and we could laugh and make fun of you, little miss frigid Icy Isobel.”

From far away came the sound of mocking laughter, and Isobel woke up with a start, tears soaking her pillow and her heart racing so fast that she thought it was going to burst out of her chest. She sat up in the bed, gasping for breath and shaking like a leaf. Where the hell had that dream come from? She knew she had been thinking about both Tyler and Marcus before she fell asleep, but to dream of being fucked like that, and to not know which one of them it had been was really messed up. And it had left her shaken to the core.

She had more questions now than she did before she went to bed. She knew that she’d seen Marcus earlier on in the day, and was in no doubt that that was why he’d been in her dream. But why had he been fucking her in it? Did it mean that she still harbored some kind of feelings for him? And if so, what did that mean for her and Tyler?

Hell, she didn’t even know if there
was
a ‘her and Tyler’ anymore. The conversation she’d had with his wife had given her more doubts than it had answers. One thing she did know, and that was that she had to talk to both men. She had to finally lay the memory of her short and painful relationship with Marcus to rest once and for all in order to see if the feelings she’d had for him back then were real, or just puppy love. And she had to have a frank discussion with Tyler and tell him her fears concerning what his wife had told her; regardless of if it pissed him off or not.

There was no way she could make any kind of decision about her future until she had come to terms with the past. She just hoped that she made the right choices when the time came.
