provocatively against him, until he

awoke.

“You’re still weak—”

“I won’t break. I need you,

Vulcan.”

***

Vulcan heard the raw need in his

wife’s voice and couldn’t have

resisted that call even if he wanted to.

His hands pulled her even tighter

against him before dipping under and

over her body to caress her breasts

through her bed gown. A soft growl

escaped his lips and he moved to a

sitting position, pulling her up with

him. His hands caressed her waist,

where the gown was pooled, and he

lifted it over her head, exposing her

breasts to the chill on the night air.

After discarding the material, Vulcan

cupped her breasts in his hands,

weighing the heavier masses. His

fingertips pulled at her already-

hardened nipples and she cried out

softly, leaning into him.

Vulcan kissed the back of her neck,

and sucked an earlobe into his mouth.

She arched against his hand and

whimpered.

His hands moved from her breasts

and Jaisyn groaned at the loss. They

worked at the ribbon that held her hair

up, and Vulcan succeeded in pulling it

from her hair and throwing it

somewhere among the covers. Her

hair fell against her back in waves,

and he inhaled of her scent while

tracing his hands over the round curve

of her belly.

Using his hands to maneuver her

body, he turned her to face him,

attaching his lips to hers, and hungrily

swirling his tongue around the warm

and sweet confines of her mouth.

When he removed his lips from hers,

Jaisyn leaned her forehead against his

shoulder. Taking one of her legs, he

pulled it over his, and lay back against

the bed, pulling her on top of him.

Jaisyn stared down at Vulcan,

whose hands were on either sides of

her hips, and rolled her body slightly,

sending a delicious friction along her

intimate region.

Gritting his teeth, Vulcan pushed her

up slightly with one hand and lowered

her onto him.

A whimper left her lips at the feel of

him parting her. He stilled instantly,

but she bore down, groaning as she

took his length into her body.

Clenching

her

muscles,

Jaisyn

lowered her palms against his chest,

her eyes bright and filled with desire.

“I love you,” she whispered, the

truth in her eyes as obvious as her

actions.

His grip on her body tightened, and

the words that left his lips came

directly from his heart. “And I you.”

Both of his hands went to her

breasts and she began a slow, sensual

rhythm. It lasted for the span of

minutes before Jaisyn began to

frantically grind against him, moans

and whimpers leaving her lips as she

came closer and closer to her release.

A strangled cry escaped her lips and

she tensed above him, her body

pulsating around him as she dragged

him with her into a powerful ecstasy.

***

Vulcan’s breathing returned to

normal and after several minutes, his

brain could actually string together

words. “Did I hurt you?”

His wife chuckled, and pressed a

soft kiss to his lips. She was still atop

him as they couldn’t muster the

strength to move or be moved. “If you

did, I thoroughly enjoyed it.”

He smiled at her bold words and

caressed her exposed back. “I suspect

you were the reason for the ache

between my legs as I awoke.”

Another little chuckle followed

before she whispered against his ear,

“I ached too.”

“I am ever at your service, my

lady,” he replied, prompting his wife

to laugh. With a long groan, she lifted

from his body, and Vulcan gently

tucked her into his side, holding her as

close as possible without making her

uncomfortable.

“I know, my lord and king.” His

hand slipped between them to the tight

skin at the side of her belly and

stroked it with love and a hefty

amount of awe. He was a husband

and would soon be a father to a child

who would capture his heart as surely

as its mother. With a tired yawn,

Jaisyn burrowed her face into his

chest, her hair tickling his chest. “And

I am always at yours.”

The End

Author’s Commentary

For those who’ve read this story

previously, you’ve probably noticed a

chunk is missing from the end.

Isolde’s story (coming next) will

feature these missing sections, altered

slightly to go along with her

adventures as she attempts to ensnare

her hero.

Author’s Biography

Violette Dubrinsky is the author of the

Dark God, Warrior,
and upcoming

Moonlight
(in which she introduces

you to her werewolves)
sagas. She

enjoys writing romance stories with

stubborn,

at

times,

clashing

characters, who eventually learn the

error of their ways and sometimes

grow to love each other. She is the

youngest of three, and the only girl.

As such, she was spoiled rotten (in

h e r
elaborate
dreams), and always

wished for a playmate closer to her

age. At a young age, she began

creating stories to fill in for the lack of

creativity on the part of her two older

jock brothers. Violette resides in New

York and Boston, and although she

has no pets, is intent on getting a

Malamute or Husky (since it is the

closest she will ever be to a wolf and

she

is

quite

obsessed

with

werewolves) at some point in her life.
