Water's Wet Erotica (Seven Stories: Including Virgin to Vixen Series) (28 page)

I couldn’t say anything. I was astonished that he had taken the time to do all of that research for my case and draw up the contract. Then he put his hand up and caressed the side of my face.

“Forgive me?” I asked in a quivering voice.

“I
pity
you. No one could be as cruel as you are unless they themselves had been mistreated as a child or perhaps you were a spoiled child and turned into an entitled narcissist. Either way, it’s a cycle. Perhaps you can break it now that you know the extent of the damage to the lives of your staff. And now, you have felt what they feel.
Fucked over
.”

He grabbed his belt and turned to leave.

“Wait!” I heard my voice become needy.

He turned around and smiled. “Don’t worry, Victoria. You’ll see me here tomorrow at 8 a.m. sharp. I’ve only begun to show you what my world has to offer.”

“I can learn to be understanding,” I said.

“Oh trust me, you
will
learn. Some people need guidance, Victoria, and that’s what I’m here for.”

I couldn’t believe it, but I replied, “Okay.”

I watched Cameron Ward, my paralegal, exit my office and leave me with a new perspective of myself and a brand-new image of him.

I exhaled slowly and gingerly rubbed my poor spanked ass, feeling the imprint of his huge fingers as raised welts. I was going to be sore and I had more than earned it.
