She ran her hands over his chest, belly, and further downwards. She noticed his bulging arousal. Sam touched him without his permission. His cock seemed to jump at first touch, begging to be released from its containment. The muscles around his jugular corded. His jaw twitched and a low growl whispered that sounded inhuman.

“Let me see you,” she begged.

David snatched her wrists and held her steady. “Relax, kitten. I’m not finished with you.”

Sam sighed her disappointment as David ripped off the rest of her outfit. Adam was right. David liked to tear her clothes as if he was unwrapping a birthday present he couldn’t wait to see. Especially her panties and stockings. She looked down with dismay. They were such pretty clothes. Now they were nothing but a heap of pink fabric on the floor.

David parted her legs wider. One hand on her pussy, he stroked his fingers along her wet seam.

She flinched. “Mr Strauss…”

“Shh. Relax and tell me how good this feels.”

David found her opening. He pushed a finger inside. Her abundant juices made it easy for him to slip in and out.

Sam moaned. He inserted a second finger. She felt full. Stretched in the most pleasant way. David made a scissoring motion before he curved his fingers upward, feeling her as if he tried to discover her most innermost secret. She fidgeted at first. Her fidgeting turned into thrashing. He hit one particular spot that made her want to come so badly. He seized her in a tight embrace the moment she jerked with frustration. She wound her arms around his neck.

He brushed his lips on hers, whispering, “Come for me, pretty.”

His breath seared her cheek. Her body trembled with her excitement. David had barely petted her a dozen strokes when a hard climax hit her. She came. His name was half-frozen in her throat. Her body stretched out in her pleasure. David found her lips and kissed her as he withdrew his fingers from her sex. He broke the kiss and fumbled with his belt and zipper. Sam wanted to help him disrobe, but he barked a short warning.

“Stay.”

Sam stilled.

David yanked open his pants and shoved down his briefs. His cock sprang free. Before she had a chance to take a good look at it, David had already grabbed her hips and penetrated her.

She screamed his name as the fat crown of his cock speared her opening. She clawed her fingers on his shoulders, not caring if she ruined his expensive designer suit. The pleasure was beyond words. He thrust in until his cockhead kissed the mouth of her womb. It stretched her more than his fingers had.
It took her a moment to get used to being impaled by a cock his size. David moved. It wasn’t tender, strawberry-and-chocolate sex, although they’d started that way. David fucked like an animal. He pounded her with short, fast strokes that obliterated her mind. Sharp, gut-deep pleasure burst in her depths, engulfing her in a tornado of adulterated rapture.

He lowered his head and plastered his mouth on hers, kissing her hard and greedily, tongue fucking her mouth as savagely as his cock ravaged her pussy. David slammed a dozen more strokes. The pleasure gathered again. She tensed.

Sam tore her mouth from David’s, indulging herself in a scream. The second orgasm hit her hard, tearing her sanity to pieces. David didn’t stop while she was climaxing. He kept battering her with a torrent of vicious fucks until the third orgasm tore through her. For a moment, Sam was oblivious to her surroundings. Three orgasms in a row was the max. She was ready to collapse and sleep for twelve hours straight.

But David hadn’t come. His cock was still hard inside her. Unspent. He had remarkable stamina.

“You didn’t…?” Sam asked. Quite surprised. Usually, it took Jared fifteen seconds to come and then snore his head off.

David only laughed. “You can’t finish me this fast. I love fucking.”

“God.”

He pulled out his cock and lifted her in his strong arms. “Let’s go to your room. I’ll show you I can be tender, too.”

Adam found David bright-eyed in his office the next morning. He didn’t need to ask if David had had a good time last night. A huge grin plastered on his friend’s face was evidence enough. Adam felt compelled to ask anyway.

“That good?”

“That good.”

“How does she fare?”

“I spent the night with her.”

Adam perked up.

David continued, “It’s”—he made a wild gesture with his hand—“fucking crazy. I’ve never felt like I was myself again since the day we were turned. No constant worry of losing control…”

Adam understood what that was like. Constant struggle for control. Their hatred for Jacoby had bred a deep, gnawing anger within them. And when they’d made that pact with Azazel, somehow that anger had manifested when they’d shifted into their beastly forms. Their killings against Azazel’s enemies had been brutal and unmerciful. Now they were no longer serving Azazel, but the anger remained. Caged. Like their inner beast.

Adam preferred to be in his human form all the time. Each time he surrendered to his primal instinct, it felt so good to be bounding on four paws, feeding the urge of his inhuman side. His inner beast hadn’t been satisfied for a long time. It had fed on the fear of his victims when they had served Azazel. Now that they had ceased being someone else’s dog, the beasts still demanded violence. They wanted to rip, maul and tear someone’s flesh from their bones.

A week before his resignation, Adam had almost had an accident. He was having a power lunch with a client and his attorney when an unbearable urge to shift overcame him. Adam was ready to swing his hand full of claws and shred those two men in pieces for no reason. He realised he was a danger to people around him. Unlike David and Calvin, who still possessed most of their control, his was diminishing with each passing day.

“Then tonight is my turn,” Adam said.

They each had agreed on taking turns of spending the night with Samantha. He was the last, on account he was unsure this whole scheme would work.

“I’m sure Calvin won’t mind. I didn’t see him anywhere. Did he come—”

David words were cut off in mid-sentence when they heard someone screaming.

It came from Samantha’s bedroom.

Adam caught David’s gaze. The two of them raced there. Samantha burst out from the door, clad in a bathrobe, before they could reach her room. “There’s something in the closet. It’s huge. And black. And its eyes glow…”

Adam comforted her. The poor girl was shaky. “There’s nothing in the closet. You’re imagining things.”

“I swear I’m not lying.”

“Nobody called you a liar, sweetie,” David said. “Let me check, okay?” He strode into the bedroom with his hands fisted.

“There’s no bogeyman in the closet,” Adam added.

“But…”

“Ssh. You’re just tired from last night.” Adam ushered her back to her bedroom.

David was closing the window and latching it securely when they entered. There was no one else but them in the room. The door to the walk-in closet was wide open. The light was on.

“See? No bogeyman here.”

Samantha calmed a bit. “I thought…”

“You’re just tired. That’s all.”

David took her hand and tugged her into a chair. She sat. “You’re pale.” He studied her. “Why don’t I ask Nigel to get you a cup of tea?”

“T—that sounds like a good idea.”

“I’ll tell Nigel.” Adam turned on his heels and stormed outside.

That idiot.

After making a brief stop at the kitchen, Adam headed to the study room to confront Samantha’s bogeyman. As he suspected, he found Calvin Neutzel in there, naked, busy mixing drinks at the mini-bar.

“What the hell did you do?” Adam demanded.

“I was curious,” Calvin answered without turning his head. “I went to see her but she was in the shower.”

“And you shifted?” Adam rolled his eyes. “We want her to accept us. Not to scare her.”

“Sorry,” Calvin bit back. “Her scent was overwhelming. So I took a few sniffs here and there.” He drained his glass in several large gulps. “Smelt David’s too. That son of a bitch.”

The door burst open.

“Speaking of the devil,” Calvin drawled.

“You’re a fucking idiot.” David stepped in and slammed the door. “If I hadn’t let you out through the window, how were we going to explain you going all furry in front of her?”

Calvin shrugged. “Maybe she likes big cats. Women dig cats. Many have told me I’m adorable.”

“Right. Rottweilers are also cute and cuddly.”

“When did you get here, anyway? I didn’t hear any car,” David asked.

“Course you didn’t. I drove from the airport and my rented car broke down just four miles from here. So I leisurely walked,” Calvin said.

“In broad daylight? What if someone saw you?”

“They will think I’m a stray cat. That’s all.”

“A six-hundred-pound black cat. Yeah, they’re going to buy it.”

“I didn’t see anyone, okay. So tell me how sweet Ms Knight is doing?” Calvin sank into a couch.

“She’s mine today and tonight.”

“I thought it was my turn.”

“As far as I was concerned, you weren’t even here yet.” Adam leaned against the bookcase. “Besides, I’m going to take her shopping. We have a charity gala tomorrow night, remember? I don’t think she has a decent dress.”

Calvin groaned miserably. “Gala? Do we have to come?”

“Apparently, we have to. Since I’ve been living here exclusively, Lily Huntington thinks I’m rude that I keep denying her invitations.”

Lily Huntington was a grand dame of Aspen socialites, and for the past few months she had been hounding his ass into attending her stupid social events. Lily knew he was single and a very eligible bachelor, and she couldn’t stop playing matchmaker for the elite singles in her inner circle.

“Does Samantha like parties?” David asked thoughtfully.

“Women her age usually like parties.” Adam scratched his chin. “She didn’t attend many due to her hardship, I believe.”

“She doesn’t even like wine. I wonder if the party is going to be torture for her.”

“Who knows, it might be fun for her. If she’s going to be our woman, she’ll have to get used to this sort of stuff,” Calvin said.

Our woman.
Adam knitted his brows.
Or mate…
Between the three of them, they’d shared women in bed. Of course, the passion never left the sheets and the sex was a mere casual encounter. This time was different—his lion was acting so territorially towards Samantha. Adam was sure that David and Calvin’s inner beasts were the same too.

Adam gave a nonchalant shrug. “Who knows, she might like it. I think I’d better tell her to get ready. I’ll take her out after breakfast.”

David turned to Calvin sharply. “And you—I expect you to behave.”

Calvin snorted. “This from a guy who got hit by a flying TV?”

Chapter Four

She couldn’t believe Adam was taking her out shopping. He also wanted her to attend gala for rich people. She tried to shy away from the social event because she was sure she wouldn’t fit in. She’d stick out marvellously. And attending a party wasn’t in her contract; she had checked it twice. Adam squished her argument by reminding her that she had to be willing to perform anything the three of them asked. She lost. Adam won. As Adam drove her into the Aspen shopping district, she wondered if he had made a mistake. One couldn’t just take white trash and dress her with fancy stuff and pass her as a high-class socialite. It would show.

Samantha decided if Adam wanted to make a fool of himself, she didn’t really have a say in it. She might as well just go along. He was her boss.

As she was trying on new gowns, the whole shopping trip turned out to be not so bad at all. It actually started to feel fun. In one designer boutique, Adam stayed patiently in the private waiting area. She then paraded herself to see if Adam liked it. And good gracious, that man was more finicky than a cranky bridezilla. None of the gowns pleased him.

Samantha pulled up the zipper of a classic-cut, long black dress, staring at her reflection in the private dressing room mirror. The dress fitted perfectly on her curvy figure and it cost a year of her salary in the factory. She smoothed the crease on the bodice, halting her breath as she opened the dressing room door. She hoped that Adam would like the gown this time.

Adam was checking emails on his smart phone when she stepped out. His gaze raked over her ever so critically. He pocketed his phone and rose from the couch. He motioned to the sales lady with an armload of gowns to leave them in privacy.

“Well?” Samantha nervously asked.

Adam circled her like a predator marking his prey.

Sam waited with halted breath.

“I love it,” he finally said. “The colour suits you.”
