Shit.

Jesse went to the fridge and pulled out a bottle of water. He could feel sweat dotting his forehead as he contrived his plan, and the excitement from it was only agitating him more. Maybe he needed to go to the pharmacy and get his prescription filled. His fist bounced against the counter as he debated what to do. The pills calmed him and if he was calm, he couldn’t quite think as clearly as when he got excited. But Jesse also knew he didn’t need to freak out.

He stopped moving, closed his eyes and took a few deep breaths. The simple idea of the Skulls kidnapping Addison was enough to set him on edge. He liked the idea. He liked that the idea would drive Mason crazy and the very thought of those men touching her would give him a sense of urgency to protect her. But Jesse knew that wouldn’t be the case. Mason would be there to kill the Skulls members while he, Jesse, swooped in to save the day. He’d also make the arrest, console Addison for the hurt she’d feel from Mason’s ‘betrayal’, and take her back to his home, his bed, and live out the life he’d dreamed from day one.

He liked the idea very much, so the thought of filling his prescriptions ceased to race through his mind. He didn’t require drugs to keep him together. He needed Addison. He wanted her with him like she should be.

Jesse went to the couch and sat, turning the TV on. If Addison wanted to spend the night with Mason out of town, then so be it. But tomorrow, he’d make sure that she never stayed with him again. He froze when the newscaster came on, reporting a fire in the Skulls clubhouse in Clearwater. Behind the blonde woman reporting was a massive ball of black smoke that firefighters urgently tried to contain. Fifteen fatalities were reported, most of which were the members who’d basically lived their fucked-up lives inside those walls. They had no leads on who could have done it, but it really didn’t take too much logic to pull that one together.

The Wicked Angels.

Jesse picked up his keys and headed out to his truck. After all he had planned, Mason had to go fuck it up again by killing off the scapegoats Jesse had put in place. It pissed him off more than he really thought possible. The damn guy was like a cockroach, causing destruction everywhere he went and unable to die in the process.

Jesse used his badge to obtain access to the jail and headed to the main desk to find where they’d put Marco. Once he got the pod number, he searched
for him. He would evidently have to do this all on his own. His hands started to shake and Jesse forced himself to calm down.

“Marco Fowler?” he called once he entered the pod.

Marco glanced up from a game of cards with other prisoners. “What are you doing back?”

“Did you watch the news?” Jesse tried to contain his anxiety. “Turn on the news.”

He clicked the TV on for him. The newscaster still reported live from Clearwater. The fire had ceased to be contained and the puff of black smoke dominated the background behind the reporter. Marco stood from his spot and stared at the TV, briefly listening before he picked up the nearest thing and threw it. Jesse knew the reaction was only the tip of the iceberg.

“What the fuck are you standing there for? Go out and get them.”

Jesse took a deep breath. “It’s not that easy. One, we have a jurisdiction issue. Two, even if I could bring them in for questioning, Addison is their lawyer and she’s going to fight tooth and nail if I don’t have any proof. Right now, they aren’t even in Tampa so it makes Mason look as good as gold. He’s fucked us all over and we need to take care of it now more than ever.

Marco huffed a breath. “What the fuck do you want me to do? I’m locked up because of that dumb bitch you want to fuck.”

“Just let me get my plan together. I’m not going to give you the details. Granted, it changed since your club is now gone, but I have something planned out. It’ll happen tomorrow. I’ll keep you in the loop. Mason will be arrested and you’ll get to enact your revenge.”

Marco shook his head. “Most of my fucking club was killed in that fire. Not to mention the three men I lost at the whorehouse. I need more than Mason. I want to see him, your bitch and the rest of his sorry-assed club pay for what they’ve done.”

“They will.” Jesse believed without any doubts that Mason and his Wicked Angels Motorcycle Club would pay for what they’d done. It also provided him with a good accolade to show her father. Jesse smiled at his own train of thought and knew this was the way to go. He had Marco ready on the inside and he just needed to get the ball rolling.

“Correctional officers are coming to check on us. I’ll visit you tomorrow.” Jesse moved out of the pod and down towards the jail exit.

A few people said hi to him as he passed, and Jesse smiled, knowing that tomorrow would be a good day. The Wicked Angels would forever be out of Tampa and Jesse would finally have the woman of his dreams, the love of his life in his arms.

He went out to his vehicle, whistling a happy tune. Taking down two motorcycle gangs in Tampa would definitely make him look good in Addison’s father’s eyes. The man despised the MC life and he could only imagine what he thought of Addison being part of it. But that would soon cease to matter. Addison would run to Jesse when the shit hit the fan and he’d be there to catch her with open, loving arms.

He liked the idea the more he thought about it. Addison needed someone that she could depend on. She needed a lawman like himself to keep both of their families’ legacies going. Their kids would probably grow up to be lawyers and cops just like them. It was a happy thought and Jesse only pictured it over and over again.

Chapter Eleven

“If you keep doing that, we’re never going to leave this hotel room.” Mason struggled as Addison pressed soft kisses down the length of his body. Dammit, they’d tried to take a shower three times and ended up fucking instead.

She knelt in front of him, glancing up with that damned innocent look that had him tangled in knots. Her lips poised dangerously near his cock and he knew that the fourth time of trying to shower would be just as null as the other three.

“You don’t want me to kiss you?”

He huffed a breath. She liked toying with him. Her lips parted and the tip of her tongue traced the outline of them. Her attention focused on his stiff dick in front of her. He was helpless and would give her exactly what she wanted.

“You know you can kiss me anytime you want.”

She grinned. “And anywhere.”

He laughed. “Oh, fuck me, yeah.”

“Good.” She slid her hands up his thighs and pressed her lips along his stomach. She didn’t seem to have any interest in taking it fast, so Mason leant back against the shower wall and prepared to enjoy whatever she planned to give him.

If Mason had his choice, he’d do this with her all day, every day. He’d love to just drop off the face of the Earth and spend his waking moments with Addison, naked in some bed or room fucking like bunnies. Jack said he was hypnotized by pussy, and he started to wonder if it were true. Mason glanced down at her as she slid her tongue along the inside of his thigh.

“You keep teasing me and this party is going to end with me fucking you against the shower wall in freezing water again.”

Addison glanced up at him. “You’re so impatient.”

“Your lips are inches from my dick.” He gripped his cock and angled it towards her mouth. “What the hell do you expect?”

She chuckled. “I expect you to be patient and let me kiss you like you said I could.”

She brushed her lips along the underside of his cock. His eyelids drooped at the pleasure of it, his urgency only increasing with the small move. The longer he waited for her to suck him off, the more he realised she had no intention to, not right now at least. Her tongue darted out to tease his balls, and Mason angled his cock up to give her a better approach.

God, she amazed him. Their problems were far from over, but he didn’t want to think about that now. He only wanted to feel the good that floated in periodically. Addison was all good. Even when she tried to be bad, she still had a way of being good.

She pulled back and moved his hand away from his dick. Her hot breath fanned his skin, reminding him of how close she was. He tortured himself with the ongoing debate of watching or waiting. He loved watching as she took him in her mouth, but dammit, waiting for it to happen built his excitement. Deciding to watch, he glanced down.

Addison’s dark-brown hair framed her face as she leaned closer, lips parted, to take his cock. Slight relief came when the tight wetness surrounded him, though the intense pleasure replaced it almost immediately. He’d been so used to driving how women sucked him off, he simply let go and watched how much pleasure Addison took in it. Her lips coasted along his cock as she bobbed her head. Pressure started to build in his balls, tightening them the more he watched his dick disappear inside her mouth. He clenched his fingers as he braced himself against the wall.

“Enough.” Mason grated out the word like a man in pain. He struggled to find the condom he’d put on the cutout in the stall wall and opened it, rolling it on within seconds.

Addison sat back on her calves as he bent, swiftly lifting her so that she stood. He turned her and pressed her hands against the wall, the warm water falling around them like their own personal waterfall. It hit Addison’s lower back as he gripped her hips, thrusting hard into her slick cunt.

Home.

Mason didn’t even try to control his pleasure, taking what he needed while giving Addison the same. She gripped him, hugging him tightly. Every fuck with her was better than the last. Every time he sank inside her, he questioned how the hell he’d gone so long without feeling this way. Nobody had ever made him feel this way, not even the potential women he’d considered trying to have a relationship with.

Her soft grunts only made fucking her better. He reached around her, finding her little clit, and rolled it. Addison scratched her nails along the slippery shower walls as she convulsed around him, milking his cock as he continued to thrust inside her. Yeah, soft and easy loving was for people that had low libidos. He and Addison liked hard and fast, something that suited them more than anything else.

Mason pushed gently on her back and slapped her ass, thrusting harder. The angle forced him deeper into the depths of her pussy and he loved every minute of it. He slapped her ass again, enjoying the pink tint to her tanned flesh. She didn’t scold him for it this time and he knew he’d have to reward her for that later.

Mason dug his fingers into her hips and thrust hard one last time, spilling everything he had into the condom. Damn, he wanted no barriers. He wanted to feel her slide against him, warm and wet, hot and wild. He wanted to claim her, to make her his. His groan reverberated against the shower walls as he leaned over her, the water splashing against his back.

“I’m glad Matty suggested getting away from the city.” Mason pressed his lips against her spine. “Fuck me, I don’t have any clue of how long it’s been since I’ve done nothing but fuck a woman non-stop.”

Addison groaned. “I don’t want to hear about your sexcapades with other women.”

He grinned against her skin and kissed her again. “What do you want to hear about?”

He stood and pulled her upright, turning so that he could see her face, stare into her eyes. She looked like a woman who had thoroughly been fucked and enjoyed every minute of it.

“I want to hear about how you’re going to rub your hands along my body, washing me like a good boyfriend should.” She held his eyes with her own. “Then I want you to promise me that when we leave here, that nothing will change between us. I like this. There is nothing wrong with us being able to keep what we have exactly like this.”

With a push of the button, he shut the shower off. He wanted to keep their relationship like this too. Addison deserved that much. They may have their problems, but they did usually work them out. Mason had never been more terrified that something had happened to her than when she’d left without telling anyone her whereabouts. If the Skulls had got her, if they had taken her back to the clubhouse before he’d set the fire for the explosion, he didn’t know what he would have done. It would have been on him. Everything.

He took her hand and led her to the large garden tub in the corner of the bathroom. With the water on, he poured bubble bath in the stream. Addison watched him, her expression so kind and loving. He smoothed her wet hair back and kissed her before they both climbed into the tub.

“Can I tell you something?” he asked as they settled, limbs entangled. The water surrounded them with the warmth and the gentle relaxation it provided.

“You can tell me anything.” She kissed his arm as she pulled it tighter around her.

“I don’t know what you think when you see me, but I’m not a good man.”

She leaned up to shut the faucet off then turned, sloshing water from side to side. “You know, I honestly thought that about you for a long time.” She reached for the soap and handed it to him. “I read some of your file while I was cleaning up my office the other day. You have a rap sheet that is longer than most short novels, and I’m convinced if you get arrested again and have to face a jury, that you’ll do hard time, if not life.” She rubbed the soap between his hands. “But I also found some of your things from prison. They gave them to me when you got out. I forgot I had them actually, until this whole mess transpired.”

She pulled his soapy hands towards her breasts. Mason watched as she squeezed his fingers into her soft flesh, smoothing the soap on his hands onto her skin.

“You had pictures with a little girl with Down Syndrome. I wondered who she was and found out it was Matty’s sister. She calls you Uncle Mason and you bought her a prom dress—the prom dress
she
wanted—because her mother is a junkie and refuses to take care of her child. You help Matty take care of her by finding and paying for the best facility that money can buy. You also had pictures of the Teddy Bear ride, which supports the cancer centre for children. It’s something I found out that the Wicked Angels does every year to help children in need and to raise money for a cure. You gave a homeless woman food. You helped your ex-girlfriend when she needed it. Yes, Mason, you may not be the complete definition of good, but you are far from the evil monsters in this world.”
