Wrong Kind of Love (21 page)

Jessica Johnson of Bookend 2 Bookend deserves to be smothered in hugs and my thanks. This book would not be in your hands right now without her. When I felt like quitting, she called me up from hundreds of miles away and made fun of my southern accent. She also told me she believes in me. I haven’t had many people tell me that in my life, so coming from a virtual stranger is enough to make me cry. And I don’t cry. She also looked through this book and nagged about my improper grammar. So if you found any mistakes in this story, they are on me, not her. Thank you Jessica and one day maybe I’ll get to give you a hug in person.

Dawn Martens is one of those people who would break her back to do something for someone in need. I always look to her to see if my stories suck because she will tell you the God’s honest truth. So if you like the ending of this book, thank her, because it was completely different. As always I plan on one day moving to Canada and marrying her, so move over Colin!

Shanora Williams is as I’ve said before amazing. She lets me read her stuff way before most people get their hands on it. She has true talent and a huge heart. She’s a great author to have on your side. I don’t even ask her to share my stuff, but she does anyway. She also listens to me when I’ve had enough of the crap and talks me down from killing someone. Everyone needs friends like these.

My mom who loves to call me up and bitch because of something my characters did. I tell her I have no control, that they have minds of their own. She is also my biggest cheerleader. She will tell anyone and their mother that I write and to buy my book. While embarrassing, its awesome that she believes that much in me.

My husband and daughter, who didn’t see much of me while I wrote this book. Most definitely my husband though because he cleaned our house and fed the spawn when I couldn’t pull myself away from the laptop. He is amazing and my biggest accomplishment. Though all the mess we have been through, its nice to know love can overcome anything. I would thank the spawn some more, but since she sat under my chair and screamed the whole time, I’ll wait till she is older.

For my rebels because y’all are just that awesome!!!

And always thank you to you. You read this story and whether you liked it or not, you made it to the end and that means more then you can ever know. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

Norma Jean

By Amanda Heath

The night Chance Duncan drunkenly kissed me on his couch, I vowed my revenge. I finally had something over his head, something that would bring him to his knees. It only served him right. He bullied me for years and turned me into this messed up person I am now.

Though I didn’t know at the time he wasn’t that mean little boy anymore. He was almost a man and easily stole my breath away. I just wanted to make him fall in love with me, then break his heart into a million pieces. Just the way mine was. Instead he put the pieces back together and I started to feel whole again.

Good things never last. He did what I was supposed to do. Broke my already fragile heart all over again. Betrayed and alone I fled my home town and started a new life where I wasn’t in the shadow of what I did.

Now he is back and trying to worm his way into my heart, again. Though he will never know it will always belong to him. He hurt me and I want nothing to do with him. Life has other plans. Doesn’t it always?

He doesn’t know though. Doesn’t know what I’m hiding or who I’m hiding from. I never thought I would see Chance again and I’m afraid that he’ll get hurt getting mixed up in my mess. Though he is right in the middle of it, without even knowing it. I have to find a way for us to get out, before somebody dies.

My name is Norma Jean and this isn’t a fairytale.

Who He Is

By Shanora Williams

Eliza Smith has never been the one to seek a relationship. She’s never dated a guy in her life, never even hugged a man (outside of her father/manager of the hot and popular rock band, FireNine) but when she decides to spend her summer on tour with FireNine, it all changes. Eliza really gets to meet Gage Grendel - her former crush from high school and the lead singer of FireNine - and witness sides to him to which she’ll begin to truly despise.

She’ll ignore him, she’ll dislike his ways, she’ll do anything to try and stay away from him until Gage finally gets her to slip up and give in. She agrees on a casual fling with Gage, but soon they’ll both see how the fling will blur into something they can’t control and when it’s finally time for Eliza to go and accomplish her own dreams, she’ll know there’s more she took from Gage than she ever thought possible.

REAL UGLY (Hard Rock Roots #1) - A New Adult Rock Star Romance

Mature - Ages 18 and Up. Contains sex, drugs, violence, and rock 'n' roll.

From the Amazon Bestselling Author of 'Losing Me, Finding You' and 'Keeping Never'

"These are real people with real problems. This is real life, and it's real f*cked up."

Turner Campbell is an asshole.

I f*cking hate him.

But I can't get enough either.

He sings like an angel and f*cks like a devil.

If I could, I'd run away and never look back because to tell you the truth, I think this man might be the death of me.

& & &

Naomi Knox is a bitch.

I can't f*cking stand her.

But I can't stop thinking about her either.

She looks like an angel and plays like a devil.

If I could, I'd f*ck her good and forget all about her, but to tell you the truth, I think this woman might be my last saving grace.

Also Available From CM Stunich

-Tasting Never (New Adult Contemporary Romance)

-Losing Me, Finding You (New Adult Biker Romance)

-Hell Inc. (Comedic Paranormal Romance)

-The House of Gray and Graves (Urban Fantasy)

REAL UGLY EXCERPT:

A gasp goes up on my right and Turner appears out of nowhere, snatching my mic from its stand and grabbing Hayden around the waist. He makes a little 'come on' gesture at me and then leans forward and grabs my lips with his.

I don't stop playing; I can't. Even if I wanted to, I couldn't stop the burst of f*cking power that's just taken hold of me. I'm both a victim and a master to it as it draws my hands along the neck and plucks strings with a violent fervor that both scares and amazes me. Hot wet heat takes over my mouth and pulls the rest of the inner me out, and then I'm kissing Turner back hard and fast and furious while the world's most intense riffs are just pulled straight through me, cutting me up and bleeding me over the stage.
