“Leo,” Feniuk interrupted, “if you don't get to the point soon, the boy will be as old as we are.”

Jackman frowned and waved him away. “All right, all right.” Then he looked back at me. “It's like this. You kids need a place.
We have one. I can't promise you it'll be forever, but until something better comes alongâ¦” He shrugged. “Well, it's a start. What do you say? If you're willing to give it a shot, so are we.”
