Jackman frowned and waved him away. “All right, all right.” Then he looked back at me. “It's like this. You kids need a place.
We have one. I can't promise you it'll be forever, but until something better comes along…” He shrugged. “Well, it's a start. What do you say? If you're willing to give it a shot, so are we.”
