Zeus (Frozen Origin) (14 page)

“All of you are men, right?”
Janice asked with a smile.

“Yes, Origin never created females.”

“Aren’t you lonely all the way out here in a frozen wasteland with no women to keep you company?”

“It’s funny that you should ask that. We are planning on holding a Halloween Masked Ball and we will be selling five hundred tickets to women on a first come basis. The tickets will be for a two night stay with accommodations and meals. Every woman will have a date to dance with.”

“You heard him ladies. There will be a website up first thing tomorrow at God’s Halloween Masked Ball.com so buy your ticket fast or you won’t be on the list. One more thing, Zeus, while I have you here. You didn’t do this interview for free, did you?”

“No, I didn’t.”

“You asked that we make a donation to our children’s charity in your people’s name. I just wanted you to know World Matters Magazine donated ten thousand dollars in the name of the gods. This is Janet Jones saying goodbye from Olympus, home of the gods.”

“That went well.” Way observed with obvious relief.

Janice came over extending her hand to Zeus who shook it this time. “This was a great interview. I hope to see you at the ball.”

“I promised the magazine tickets so maybe they’ll send you.”
Zeus said making no promises. He was glad Sierra wasn’t around to watch the woman’s attempts at flirting. Now that the interview was done and the reporter on her way out, he left to find his mate. He sent out some mental messages only to find out that his mate had been busy while he was tied up in the meeting room. He moved down the hall to his office to find her.

“I thought I suggested we wait.” He said as soon as he closed the door. She had crawled through the passageway and to his embarrassment come out in his office under one of the two matching bookshelves on opposite walls. He hadn’t thought about them much but when he had, he had assumed they didn’t go all the way to the floor so a table or chair could be placed there even though he had never seen either piece of furniture in
that spot. It seemed they didn’t go to the floor because one of them camouflaged the entrance to a tunnel. He walked over to the other one checking around for any cracks that would show it opened too. Sierra had come up behind him and he jumped when she spoke.

“I did wait until I was sure the tunnel was empty. I did exactly w
hat you suggested, Boss.”

“Boss,” he repeated raising his eyebrows. “Is that some kind of joke,
Sweetheart? You don’t seem to take instructions from anyone.”

“That depends on the kind of instructions.”

“Come to my room with me so I can give you some instructions you’ll want to follow.” Zeus said wiggling his eyebrows and looking lecherous. It made her laugh but she went with him.

He opened the door pulling her in behind him before closing it. Oh, yeah, he had her where he wanted her now. He stripped his clothes off quickly hoping she would do the same. She did, but not nearly fast enough so he helped her in between passionate kisses.
Naked, they pressed together their hot flesh sliding, driving the passion higher. He couldn’t wait one more second as he lifted her up to his waist with his hands squeezing her ass as he pulled closer. Her body felt heavenly against his, her ass cheeks felt firm but soft in his hands as he lifted her to line their bodies up before he slid inside her. Her sheath grasped his hard rod, the feeling was incredible as he slowly pushed his way in. Her muscles contracted slowing his progress but increasing his pleasure as he felt every inch being massaged by her wet heat.

He knew he wouldn’t last long like this so he moved a hand between them searching for the center of her pleasure.
He wanted nothing more than to make this about her but he needed to reclaim his female after she had risked her life, first fighting the enemy then in the tunnels where she might have come up against any manner of things. He would take her, claim her, but she would enjoy every moment of it because he would make sure of it. He found the spot that made her moan and he put his attention to it as he drilled in and out of her. He was awash in delight, her body wrapped so tightly around him he was walking the line between pleasure and pain.
Heavenly, that’s how she felt, so close, just hold back a little while.

She was moaning and trying to thrash around as he held her tight while he pumped into her hard, fast, and oh, so deep. She froze, only for a moment before she wildly started screaming his name while he slammed against h
er even harder continuing to bang into her. He turned nailing her against the wall pushing in and out so fast it made him dizzy, or was that the orgasm that loomed trying to break free? He heard a roaring in his ears, lights flashed behind his eyes, the fucking earth moved as he blew like a volcano hot jets of cum under pressure shooting out into his mate. By the time her hot pussy had milked every drop out of his eager cock, he felt weak for the first time he could remember. With her held firmly in his arms knowing he would roll to absorb any injuries should they not make it, he stumbled toward the next room into his waiting bed.

Sierra seemed to have fared no better as she moaned into his ear, shivering against him clutching tighter with every step he took.
Mine, forever mine. No one will ever take her from me.
They would have to kill him first or die facing his wrath should they come between his mate and him. He fell ungracefully onto the double bed that was in the small bedroom. It was one of the mini suites a cafeteria woman used to have which he was using until the manager’s much larger, nicer suite was remodeled for him, his mate, and any children they might someday have. Thoughts of children made him smile because he liked to have fun and he would enjoy playing with his children before teaching them what they needed to know to survive. Unlike him, they would know the joys of being a child, he would see to it. They would know the love of their mother and father, because even though Sierra hadn’t agreed yet to having children, he knew she would be a wonderful, loving mom. He would give his last breath to protect and cherish his mate and their children. Their life would be good not because life always was, it wasn’t, but because he would make it so. With that final thought, he wrapped around his already sleeping mate before he too slept.

He woke up feeling really good, incredible actually, maybe even the best he’d ever felt in his whole life. He’d felt better once he knew he was free, but having a family or the prospect of a family even if it was just him and his mate, made everything feel better. His males had been a good reason to do what he did, but the
claiming of his mate, the possibility of all of them claiming mates, and the continuity with the children that would come, pleased him more than he could say. Even if his mate didn’t give him children, he would be the favorite uncle of hundreds of little gods and goddesses.

“Hey, what are you smiling about?” He looked over to where the voice came from smiling even bigger at his mate’s naked form.

“I just feel so good when we are together I can’t stop smiling. You’re smiling too.”

“I’m smiling because I just woke up in bed with the most gorgeous male I’ve ever seen and he’s naked. What woman wouldn’t smile?”

“You think you might give this male a kiss to start his day off right?”

“I think I might be persuaded with the offer of a little more than a kiss.”

He leaned over touching her lips with his just as an alarm went off. This time the response was immediate. His com and Sierra’s both went off at the same time, but he had already gotten a mental message. They were attacking the hidden door on Cronos’ level. He and Sierra dressed quickly, she actually managed to be ready first but had to go to her room for combat boots. The kind they all had were insulated for the snow outside. She took off fast and rejoined him five minutes later in his office where he was in contact with Hades, who was down below, Eres who was in the station monitoring the cameras, and Hercules who had his men placed at every known entrance with a few patrolling for surprises.

She looked at him expectantly so he gave her the rundown.
“There is a group of at least ten intruders dressed in white trying to blend in with the snow attacking the door to the level Cronos’ chamber is on. We assume they are Origin or someone sent by them, but so far we have had no luck taking anyone alive. The prisoners from yesterday that were interrogated assured us that Origin will not stop attempting to get Cronos or his children.”

“Don’t they know you guys are his children?”

“We were bred to pass as human. They assumed we were US troops since they know your people are here. There will be no safety for us until Origin is destroyed and all their leaders dead or captured. Way says they have been declared international outlaws and all their assets found in certain countries will be turned over to us. Some countries refuse to help.”

“There are some countries that prefer to benefit from dealing with Origin rather than doing what’s right. It’s hard to understand but it is the way things are. I’m sorry for that, Zeus.”

“We will manage without them. Our plans move forward. The interview was released this morning on our website and will go out in that magazine at the end of the week. The response has been positive. The website went up this morning and all the tickets have sold. We will use part of the money to prepare for the event. Way has suggested another event at Christmas to bring in more females and more money, but I want to see how this one goes first.”

“Wise move. Who knows how a bunch of horny gods will react with females and alcohol available.”

“I’m more worried about the females, my males have self control.”

“Sure they do.”

“Sierra, we must go downstairs. They have blown the door and Hades needs backup.” Zeus said urgently as he stood leading the way. He sent others who were closer too, but he needed to be there to make sure his father wasn’t taken. There was a mad rush going to the lower levels. Sierra grabbed Zeus’ arm.

“Don’t let everyone go down. I have a bad feeling that they may attack up here once you’ve all had time to get downstairs.”

He fought his need to get downstairs to guard his father. He got on his com telling Hercules to keep his team upstairs with some of the other gods for back up. He sent Apollo and his team to the next floor and so on distributing gods throughout the building. He and Sierra went back to his office which was located near the center of the top floor to wait for the enemy to make their next move. A few minutes later the front door was blown and ten men dressed in black came running in. It was clear there was more than one team attacking the facility. Sierra threw a stun grenade making everyone scatter but the enemy didn’t have time to get far enough away dropping like flies when it went off. It was just a matter of picking them up and restraining them. She ran to the office with Zeus following behind her just in time to see more men dressed in black coming out of the tunnel through the half door on his wall. That meant Eres and his team had been overwhelmed which worried Zeus but he’d deal with that later. He sent a mental image to get more gods to his office while he and Sierra attempted to neutralize them as they exited the door.

Sierra caught the first one as he tried to stand slamming his head into the wall stunning him while she restrained him with zip ties then pushed him into the hall where he landed on the floor. Eres was right, she was unbelievable. He was so caught up in watching her he almost forgot to catch the second man.
He used Sierra’s tactics knocking his head against his desk, maybe too hard. The man went down, no longer moving. He restrained him with zip ties but pushed him under the desk instead of into the hall. He and his female worked like the perfect team, taking turns until all ten were neutralized.

Hercules sent him a message telling him Eres and his team had been recovered along with one helicopter. Some of the gods were injured but their intent had been to capture not to kill so none were serious. The biggest injury had been to Eres pride which was painfully damaged. They had also discovered emergency doors non
e of them had been aware of that were sunk into the doorways on one side of the regular doors. Had they all gone to protect Cronos, they would have been cut off and unable to protect their home. His mate was truly exceptional and had proven her intelligence and loyalty. He wondered where Kyler’s team was, but didn’t wonder long. They were all locked down in their rooms which Zeus hoped would give him the reason he needed to get rid of them.

Slowly teams were checking in, Brandi was getting the doors open, prisoners were being rounded up, and Doc was treating the wounded both gods and humans.
Buzz was copying the tapes to send to Washington at Sierra’s request including the tapes from the hallway that showed Kyler and his team taking cover when the fighting started. He saw no reason for anyone but Sierra’s team to be here until they built their own residence near, but not too near, them. The attempt to take Cronos as well as capture gods worried him and the fact that the attacks were back to back wasn’t good either. He was concerned that they had unlimited resources in those countries that clearly favored them.

Hercules was taking roll on all gods and Kyler’s team since Sierra’s was already accounted for. Two of Kyler’s team hadn’t been found yet, they were the only two that hadn’t gone to their rooms when Kyler told his team to lock themselves in. It was a shame Brenda wasn’t one of them
, especially if they had left with the intruders. The tapes finally revealed that they had done exactly that meeting with them outside then following them to the helicopter that had gotten away. Three had gotten away, but one had been captured. Sierra cautioned against using it until it was fully gone over and checked out mechanically. Zeus had to admit his mate was paranoid but she was usually right, so was she still paranoid if everyone was out to get them?
