But
I
didn't
mind
because
my

came
two

behind
his.
And
although
he

we
finished
together.
Exhausted,
sweaty
and
hot
we
collapsed
in

cuddled
and
enjoyed

Chapter 7

Logic and I lay quietly in each others arms for the bulk of the remainder of the ride home. Logic was so quiet that I thought he had fallen asleep. The events of the day ran through my mind like an Olympic track star. So much had happened, some of it bad and some of it really good.

I just wasn't one hundred percent certain that my hookup with Logic would prove to be a good thing. Don't get me wrong, the sex was phenomenal, but if we put everything in perspective I'm just the rebound chick. The thought of that frightened me. I like this man. In fact I like him a lot. As I quickly begin to unravel, realizing that probably, none of the things that he said or I felt were truly real an interior light in the limo bounced off the Tiffany engagement ring that was still on my finger.

"Oh my God!” I gasped.

"What's wrong?" A startled Logic stirred and asked.

"I still have on your ring. I am so sorry. We forgot all about it."

"Oh, I thought you saw another reindeer." He chuckled as he laid back, closed his eyes and went back to sleep or whatever the hell he was doing.

"Did you forget I had it?"

"No, not really." He nonchalantly replied.

"So, why didn't you just ask for it back?" I asked confused.

"Probably, because I didn't want it back."

"What?" I don't understand."

"I want you to hold on to it."

"Oh my God! Here comes the crazy ass shit. I knew this was too damn good to be true." I said as I looked for my bra and panties and quickly put them on.

"What? What are you talking about and where are you going?" Logic laughed.

"You! I'm talking about you!" I snorted. "We just met and you're giving me an engagement ring. So what, I guess now that we had sex we're engaged or some crazy ass shit?"

Logic laughed even harder. "Toy, will you just calm down and listen. You didn't let me finish. I can explain if you let me."

"Okay, go ahead. This is going to be a good one."

"I want you to hold on to the ring not as an engagement ring, but as sort of a promise ring."

"A promise ring? A five hundred fuckin thousand dollar promise ring, seriously! And you don't see how that's even worse."

"No as a matter of fact I don't."

"Oh my God! Where are we? Are we even going to DC?"

Realizing that I was understandably upset and quickly unraveling like a second hand, crocheted bikini, Logic rolled over and pressed one of the buttons on the console of the headboard. "Tracey..."

"Yes, Mr. Hart?" Tracey responded over the intercom.

"How far are we from Washington, DC?"

"Roughly eighty miles, sir."

"Thanks."

"Has our destination changed, sir?"

"I'm not sure. Let me check with Ms. Waters. I'll let you know in a few."

"So, Ms. Zatoya Waters... Has our destination changed?"

"Logic, please tell me that you're not some psychopath taking me somewhere to kill me and make a dress out of my skin."

Logic laughed, "What the hell? Are you serious?"

"It's not funny. It happens."

"Okay, okay... Look, I promise that I'm not psychotic, I'm not going to kill you and I assure you that I have no need of a dress of any kind. And most of all I promise that I'd never intentionally hurt you, Toy. That's why I said think of it as a promise ring."

"I still don't get it."

"From the moment I approached you, you've been skeptical of me. But the second I showed you that ring, it somehow seemed to validate everything I said and you instantly relaxed and let me in. Toy, I trust you with the ring. I just wanted you to trust me with you."

"I'm sorry, I got all crazy. It's just that I've never had the luxury of trusting a man to do anything except fuck me or fuck me over. This whole night has been bizarre to say the least and I keep waiting for the totally unnecessary drama that continues to pursue me like a shadow."

"I like you Toy. But you have to give just an inch. Stop being so pessimistic. The whole world has not joined forced against you. Yes, some men come to destroy, but eventually one is going to come to rebuild. And that's the role that I want to play if you'd only let me." Logic replied as he pulled me into his massive arms.

His expensive cologne was alluring, his swagger was undeniable and his sexuality was absolutely enthralling. Hell, who was I kidding? I had trusted crazier looking men who couldn't even afford to buy me a damn Kid's Meal.

Nothing at all about this man, screamed Looney Tune. Hell, I was the one acting like a damn crazy ass woman. Logic was insane alright. He was insanely rich! He was well dressed, educated, articulate and soft spoken. In fact Logic was a complete gentleman and a true rare find. And by some miracle he just happened to find and rescue me on the worst night of my life. Immediately all fear and doubt fell away and I conceded that for once my apprehension and skepticism needed to take a back seat to my passion. Serial killer, stalker, rapist, wife beater or whatever he may or may not be- this man was as fine as the hair on a tadpole's balls. And at this very moment despite all my bullshit he was completely captivated by me.

"So what's it going to be, Toy? Do you want me to drop you off in DC, or are you going to relax and let me shamelessly spoil you at my home in Baltimore?"

Without hesitation or reservation I pressed the intercom button. "Tracey we'll be continuing on to Mr. Hart's home as originally planned."

"No problem Ms. Waters. We should be arriving there in a little over an hour."

"Take your time. There's no rush."

A broad sexy grin covered Logic's face as I begin to slowly undress.

"Can I come back to bed?"

"Please do. This water bed is as cold as an Eskimo's tit without you."

"Oh yeah? Let me see what I can do to warm you up." I responded as I crawled in bed into his waiting arms.

"So how do you feel about re-gifting?" Logic asked as he gently kissed me on the forehead.

"Depends upon what's being re-gifted"

"Hell, it's a ton of shit beneath that tree for my ex-girlfriend."

"I hope there are some clothes I can fit. If not I'm going to be naked." I giggled as I snuggled in his arms.

"Oh, I'm sure we'll find something for you to put on. But I was thinking about something a little bigger."

"Like what?" I asked puzzled.

Logic hesitated. "Don't freak out when I say it."

"I won't. I promise. What is it?"

"A 650 SL Mercedes just like mine." He cautiously replied as he waited for my response. "I bought it for my ex."

"Are you serious?"

"Yeah, you'll need a car to get around in until yours is replaced. Especially, if you'll be driving back and forth to Baltimore..."

"Logic I don't know what to say... It's too much... It's too soon. We just met. I hardly know you. Okay well if you insist. Yes! Yes! A thousand times yes!"

Logic laughed as he pulled me on top of him. His eyes engaged mine for an uncomfortably long time. "I like you Ms. Zatoya Waters."

"I can tell Mr. Logic Hart."

"What are you doing for New Years Eve?"

"Spending it with my man in Baltimore." I coyly responded.

Logic's sexy mouth curled up into a smile. "How long can you take off from work? I want to take you to Vegas."

"Actually I'm off for a week, because of the accident, but can I ask you something?"

"Sure, anything."

"What do you do for a living?"

"I play football for the Nevada Kings."

"Are you fuckin serious?" I blurted out. "You play for the NFL? Are you any good?”

“I know you didn’t just ask me if I was any damn good. What do you think I’m sorry or some shit?” Logic laughed.

“I didn’t say you were sorry. I just meant… I can’t believe you play for the NFL. Oh my God! So, what position do you play? Do you start? How long have you played? Can you take me to a game? Do you play the Ravens? Have you ever been to the Super Bowl?" I asked bombarding him with an endless string of questions.

Logic simply laughed. "Okay stop. I don't even begin to know where to start answering all of that. So I'm not going to even try. You can Google me later. But right now, your man has something else for you to do."

"Oh yeah and what is that?" I asked as I watched Logic methodically, slow stroke his shaft until it was good and hard.

"You can do whatever you want to do, just as long as it involves this."

A sweet an innocent smile crept over my face as my hands replaced Logic's on his swollen dick. Realizing that this was in fact the best Christmas I ever had, I said, "Merry Christmas Santa."

"HO, HO, HO! Logic groaned as his gigantic candy cane slowly disappeared in my mouth.

Chapter 8

It's funny how what seems like the worst experience in life can become the very best thing that's ever happened to you. As I watched Logic Hart, the super star Running Back for the Nevada Kings lie next to me in bed I couldn't believe that this was my life. A part of me was convinced that I actually died in that damn car accident on Christmas Eve and went to heaven. Handsome, sexy, rich and swinging a baseball bat for a dick, I could not wrap my mind around the fact that this gorgeous man was my boyfriend.

Sure I get that I'm the rebound chick, but so fuckin what? If this is what it feels like to be loved by a man on the rebound then so be it. I know that I promised myself that I wouldn't fall too hard, too fast for this man, but damn. He is fuckin incredible. I'm addicted to everything about him. Just the sound of his voice makes my koochie clap and my panties wet in anticipation of what's to come. I must shamelessly admit that I'm a fanatic of his dick, his mouth and don't even get me started on that slow hand screw that he's perfected and patented.

So, now what? How does the rebound girl become the woman of such a delicious piece of succulent chocolate like this? Simple she finds a way to not fuck it up. “He pursued you Toy. It wasn't the other way around. He wanted it to be about more than sex. And he's the one that just shamelessly showered you with enough gifts to fill an upscale boutique; gifts which you haven't even bothered to open.”

Sure, they're gifts he bought for her silly ass. So what? I'm not turning down a 650 SL Benz. Fuck that! My heart stopped the second we pulled up in front of his humongous Baltimore mansion. I laid eyes on the car of my dreams with that big ass red bow and I almost came. It was parked in the semicircle in front of his home with a tag that simply said
Merry
Christmas
Baby.
I decided right that second that I was his Baby from that moment on. Fuck her and fuck that rebound chick bullshit. From where I'm laying, staring at Logic's fine, nude, German chocolate frame, I'm his chick; not the rebound chick, nor the dumb ass trick that use to suck that delicious dick. This is my man and nobody is going to fuck that up, not even me.

“You're doing it again Zatoya.” Logic's deep, sultry voice complained.

“What?” I asked innocently, although I knew exactly what he was talking about.

“You know what I'm talking about. Stop staring at me. You're going to make me self conscious if you keep that bullshit up.”

“I wasn't staring at you.”

“Yes you were. I can feel your eyes scanning me, like lasers. So stop.”

“I'm sorry. I can't believe this is real.”

Logic rolled on his back and pulled me on top of him. “Does this feel real?” He grinned.

“Yeah it feels pretty real. It feels real hard.” I giggled.
