Kaysha

The way Jaeshawn was smiling all in that bitch’s face got me so mad. I couldn’t even finish enjoying myself, because I kept checking on his ass. I didn’t even know his ass was over there until Brandi pointed him out. She was about to ask him to come have some drinks with us, but I stopped her. Especially when I saw that bitch with him. She was supposed to be bringing bottles, not smiling all in my man’s face. I sat back down and crossed my legs, exposing the louboutins that graced my feet.

              “What happened?”

“Our bottle girl all in his face smiling. Bitch do your job and stop worrying about mine,” I vented.

“Kay, yall not together and he can do whatever he wants. You need to stop running everybody off he meets,” She advised, and I turned and looked at her like she had three heads.

“Are you my sister or his? Because right now it sound like you’re his.”

Tiara, or whatever her name was came and bought three of the bottles I requested. I snatched one and popped the top and poured it into my mouth. I had to calm myself down because I was beyond heated.

“He has a girl, so if you know what’s good you better leave him alone,” I warned.

“Excuse me?” She turned and asked.

“You’re excused. Leave him alone,” I repeated, just in case she didn’t know.

“Whatever, he talked to me, and last time I checked, he said son’s mother. Not wife, girlfriend, fiancé or roommate. I’m too grown to be going back and forth with someone who has their role in their baby’s father’s life confused.” She walked off leaving me with my jaw on the floor.

“She told you, Kay. You know Jae, it’s probably some chicken head he entertaining.” Brandi tried to make me feel better.

“Nah, I’ve ran off a lot of chicken heads, thot and whore bags, and he aint never introduced me to them. He would leave both of us on the sidewalk, as he pulled off. This girl means something to him,” I explained.

“Well enough about that. I don’t have my kids and I want to turn up.” she poured herself another drink. I put it out of my mind because Jaeshawn was toasting with his niggas, and partied with my sister.

                                                                      _____

I squinted my eyes, as the sun came through my window. I got so drunk last night that I don’t know how I even got home. I rolled over, and Jaeshawn was right in my bed. I smiled and thanked god that he came to my house last night. He was in his boxers and I got under the cover and blew on the tip of his dick. I knew that would wake his monster up. Just like I expected, it started to get hard as a rock. I took that as my opportunity to get onto of him and ride him. He was sleeping and moaning and grabbing my waist.

I rolled my hips and ran my hands through my weave. I was ovulating, and I was determined to get pregnant by Jaeshawn. His ass thought he would be running around here talking to other bitches, like I didn’t exist. He held onto my waist real tight and I felt himself empty inside of me. All I could was smirk, but that was short lived when I felt him knock me from on top of him.

“Why the fuck would you do that, Kaysha?” He roared and tried to punch me, but I ducked and ran to the other side of the room.

“I always wake you up with sex when you stay over here,” I innocently answered.

“No the fuck you don’t. You wake me up with head, bitch. Why you always doing the most?” He got out the bed and put his pants on and slipped his feet into his boots. “I swear to god if you get pregnant I’m kicking that baby out of you.”

“No you are not, you’re going to take care of it, just like Keyshawn.”

“Go ahead and try me. You are barely there for Keyshawn, why would I want another baby by you? Go take that fucking pill and get out my face,” He put his jacket on and put his jewelry on, including his Jesus piece. I was hoping he left it so I could rock it with my outfit today.

“Whatever, Jae. You always playing me. Yet, you came to my house and in my bed. Stop giving me mixed signals.

He left out the door and I plopped on my bed with an attitude. I was so tired of Jaeshawn treating me like he did. He came over and spent time with me and Keyshawn and acted like we were a family, but then he said we weren’t. He was throwing mixed signals, and he couldn’t be mad that I was picking up on them. Brandi opened the door and looked around confused.

“What’s with, Jaeshawn?” she rubbed her eyes.

“We fucked, and now he mad that he nutted in me. All well, he need to get over it,” I sighed.

“You aint worried about getting pregnant?”

“Nope, because I know he will take care of us. He always does. Jae talks a lot of shit, but when it comes to his son, he goes all out.”

“Oh, well I need to go pick my girls up and head back uptown.” She sat on the bed and combed her hair out a wrap. I was always jealous by the amount of natural hair Brandi had. Her hair fell down to her back and it was all hers; her father was Spanish. She had the lightest skin, with hazel eyes. Her body was slim with the perfect amount of ass, thighs and breast. Even when she was pregnant, she was all stomach.

“You going back there? I don’t know how you do it,” I stated.

“The same way you do when you hiding Keyshawn from Jae. You be staying right up in there.”

“I know. That’s why I said I don’t know how you doing it.” I snapped.

We got ready and headed to my mother’s house. I told Brandi not to mention anything about me and Jae’s fight. My mother just knew I was going to be married and living in Jae’s condo soon. I didn’t like to disappoint her, so I kept this facade up with her. Brandi rolled her eyes, but agreed. I didn’t feel like being bothered with my son, so I was going to drop him off with his other nana. She was always calling for him, but I always kept her from her. That’s exactly what I was going to do. I smiled thinking about what I was going to do with my spare time.

After I dropped Brandi home, I swung by Jaeshawn’s mother’s house. She was already outside talking to her neighbors. Jaeshawn’s mother was a self-made boss, but I would never tell her that. She looked in the car and smiled at her grandson. She walked to the back door and opened it.

“Hey, Grammy’s baby. How are you Kaysha?” she asked, cutting her eyes at me.

“Considering you called me a bitch this morning, fine. I need a break, so keep him for a few days.” I ordered, not bothering to go home and get him his essentials.

“Am I lying?” She smirked and grabbed him out his seat. “He wasn’t even strapped in properly, Kaysha.” She snapped and mushed my head.

I was about to go off, but hurriedly pulled off without leaving the diaper bag. Now her ass was going to have to buy what she needed. She was always stepping over boundaries. I turned my music up and looked for some trouble to get into.

Tiara

I was showered, dressed and ready to go get my babies from my mother. I knew she was going to spend her Sunday sleeping, since she worked tonight. Thankfully, I was off tonight and I could cook a Sunday dinner, bond with my daughters and catch up on reality shows. It was February and although it was cold, the sun was out nice and bright. I grabbed my purse and walked down the three flights of stairs to my mother’s car. I got in and pulled off toward her house. I kept racking my brain for things that I might need for dinner tonight. I wanted to grab them before I picked the girls up. It didn’t come to mind, so I continued to her house.

Walking in the house I could hear the gospel and smell her dinner cooking. I peeked into the living room and my little ladies were sitting in their swings with Sunday dresses on. I laughed because my mother was so extra, but they looked so cute. Joy started to whine, but I placed her pacifier into her mouth and she simmered down. My mother was in the kitchen seasoning her chicken.

“Hey baby,” She greeted me and kissed my cheek.

“Hey mama. Why you got them in Easter dresses,” I cracked up laughing.

My mother held her stomach laughing. “Girl, I was just saying it look like one of those dresses the Mexicans wear with sneakers.”

              “Ma, you are not right.”

“I know, I know. It’s Sunday. Forgive me lord, Tiara got me cutting up,” She looked up like she was speaking to GOD.

“You’re a mess mama. I came to get my babies so you can rest before work.” I sat at the kitchen table.

“Oh good, I’m about to put this chicken in the oven and nap for the rest of the day. Have you talk to Bre since last night?” she questioned.

“Nope, and I hope I don’t. She always has shit to say, but aint never around. I’m cooking tonight and gonna’ enjoy my babies.”

“I hear that, let me help you change them,” She chuckled.

We changed the babies and loaded them in the stroller before heading out. My mother helped me down the stairs and I placed my headphones in my ear and walked to C town, a local supermarket in the hood. I forgot that I needed BBQ sauce and more cheese for my mac and cheese. It wasn’t too cold so I pulled the hood over the babies and strolled through the blocks. I spotted my girl, Maddie, sitting on her stoop so I stopped.

“Tiara, what you doing out? I for sure thought your ass would still be laid out from having twins,” She joked, and came down the stairs.

“Oh please, I told yall I could handle having a baby.”

“Uh huh, remember I was the one who was with you when you sprained your ankle. You would have thought you was going to die,” She pulled me in a hug. “Let me see those babies,” She demanded and pulled off the hood.

Joy immediately started crying. She was a diva and the sun was messing with her. I rocked the stroller and she stopped crying and looked at Maddie cooing all in her face.

“How you been girl?” I asked.

Maddie lived with her man, and he had a hand problem. He was real protective, which explained why she was always in front of her house. He probably would bust her ass if he knew she was sitting here talking to me. She had lost three babies because of his beatings. I knew Maddie since we were kids, and I knew she wanted children more than anything. She use to watch everybody’s kids, but that stopped when she wouldn’t leave her man alone. She use to work at the club, but he put that to a stop real quick.

“I don’t know whether I’m coming or going, but I’ll manage.”

“Maddie, fuck you doing?” Her man, Jared, yelled.

“I’m coming. Tiara, my number is the same. Call me,” I agreed, while reaching for my phone that was ringing.

It was an unknown number and I answered. “Hello,” I answered and continued my stroll to the store.

“How you doing, Tiara?” A deep profound voice said though the receiver. I knew who it was.

“Hey, I’m fine, Jaeshawn. How are you?”

“Good now that I’m talking to you. What you getting into today?” He inquired.

“Just out in the stuy strolling to the store with my daughters. I’m going home and relaxing.”

“Oh, word. I’m over at my mom’s crib in crown heights. What you doing in the stuy?”

“Well besides the fact that I live out here, I’m going to C town. I’m cooking Sunday dinner.”

“Hmmm, oh word. A nigga do like to eat. Is that an invitation?” I started to blush when he said that.

“Umm, you can’t just be inviting yourself to my house. I don’t know you,” I joshed.

“You got jokes, huh?”

“Sometimes. What you doing on a Sunday besides trying to get some of my food.” I kept the conversation going.

“Chillin’ I’m lonely, I need someone to talk to,” He played around.

“I’m so sure, you probably have a rolodex full of chicks.”

“That may be true, but I only want to talk to one,” He replied.

I pushed the stroller into the grocery store and searched the aisle for things I needed. I decided to make a cake and grabbed the supplies for that. “Yum, chocolate cake it is,” I said out loud, forgetting I was on the phone.

“Oh yeah, I’m bout’ to come over. Yo’ ma you got an umbrella?” He questioned.

“No you not,” I laughed. “Nah, it’s sunny outside.”

“Not anymore. It’s about to pour. Sky just got hella’ dark.”

I quickly went and got the rest of my stuff hoping that I didn’t get myself or my kids wet. This damn weather had been so crazy. “I’m checking out now, so I can rush home. Can I call you back?”

“Yeah, no problem.” I ended the call and rang my things up. I hoped like hell it didn’t rain.
