A Wedding Affair (The Wedding Affair) (64 page)

I will have your tux mended and have it pressed and ready for you tomorrow just please give me your room number and I will have it sent over”

“The other impeccable blond in a black suit walks over to me
.

He is in the presidential suite 850” at The Ritz Carlton, my heart sink wow I guess Tristan doesn’t have his suite anymore at The Ritz, and then I am mortified, Luis Miguel is sleeping in the same bed that Tristan and I shared, well you know what they say what happens at The Ritz stays at The Ritz.

Luis and his
people are ready to leave for the show, I hear the security guys talking and they have cars waiting for them outside my store, and he will make his curtain call as scheduled.

Luis walks away from his people a
nd stands in front of me.

“I can’t thank you enough Aria for all that you have done for me” as
he holds his hands out and I check him out one last time. Be still my beating heart, my fiancé is standing next to me but my crush is before me and I got to dress him up this evening. My face splitting grin is evident.

“It was my pleasure Luis, you look am
azing, you bring this suit to life” I smile and Ian now snakes his arm around me, wow is he getting jealous? Hmm this is interesting.

“Please I want you both to show up tonight I insist?” I look up at Ian like I am going to this concert with or without you
. He looks down at me and kisses my temple.

I think my bride will have my head if we don’t attend” Ian with the sexy banter I am impressed as his arms are now fully around me holding me close as I lean against his chest. Yeah he can dial up the romance pretty good.

Luis is shuffled from us by his people and he grabs my hands and kisses them and then he is gone.

“Aria what is it with you and men”

“What you can’t blame me for this?”

“Blame you, you have men dropping their pants at your feet”

“Well I only
want you do that”

“Good because he is like seriously crushing on you as you were on him”

“Really you think?”

“Yes, that man wants you”

“Let me change”

“What is wrong with what you are wearing?”

“I am not having you take this off of me tonight after Luis Miguel turns me on, I am thinking something red with matching heels, see ya in a second” I walk out of Ian’s arms and into my office

Ian and I
are going to the show tonight I change out of my work clothes into my red taffeta cocktail dress, sleeveless and with a jewel neckline that comes just to my knee, my matching red satin strappy sandals are perfect and Ian and are ready to see Luis Miguel.

Ian looks great he is in a black I get him a fresh shirt and a red tie to match my dress he runs
some water over his face and his five o clock shadow makes him irresistible.

It’s
a beautiful night the concert is just across the street so Ian and I take the walk way to the arena and we are there in no time, we show our tickets that look like credit cards and we are immediately ushered to our seats in the balcony.

The show is amazing,
the music the lights, all the screaming fans, wow he can really pack them in I am glad I changed, everyone here is so dressed up like it’s is New Year’s eve. I sit in the crook of Ian’s left arm as his left arm is draped around my bare and our fingers thread as he holds me to him, we look every bit the handsome couple we are, the seats are great the show is about to start and Ian whispers in my ear.

“Aria you look so beautiful
tonight”

“You look amazing just handsome
, in this tie as I touch the knot that I very easily tied for him this evening.

“Ian this is where it all began” he looks at me and moves my
other hand to his lips.

“You have made me the
happiest man in the world Aria” he kisses my hand and I can get use to this, he is sweet and romantic and I am starting to feel like a princess.

You are sweet Ian” I look down at my ring as it glimmers and shines in the dim light of the Palace Theatre. A little over a month ago, Ian proposed to me at Michael Buble’s concert and here we are again in the balcony as Luis Miguel’s guest for his show tonight.

Aria life with you is never dull” the show starts as Luis Miguel rises from beneath a trap door in the stage floor. I am so excited to see him after what ten, fifteen years I am finally seeing my idol in concert, yeah life is pretty damn good about now. I know all of his songs of course and my mom who loves him as well I gotta tell her about this she will freak out.

The energy this man has in
phenomenal he is one of a kind he sings and dances, he is such a performer, his music is sweet and romantic and his upbeat stuff is awesome, he has us wanting more.

Ian got into it
, we got up and danced with the crowd and I was so happy to see that my suit on him held up just fine for the hour and a half no intermission just one song after another and he looked amazing, very handsome and so talented this is a day I will never forget.

The show’s last song has us dancing up the aisle it was fun and a good time was had by all.

“Aria that was great, you hungry lets grab some dinner?” I look at Ian and he is so cute to do this with me, it’s after eleven and ya know all the kitchens are closed at eleven.

I look at him like ok where does he want to go.

Ian I don’t think anyplace is open on a Tuesday night, we better just go home. He looks at me

“You’re kidding right? In C
hicago you can eat around the clock!” I look at him and nod my head

“N
o sweetheart I am sad to inform you that the kitchens close here in downtown at eleven.” He looks at me and grabs my hand and he has something on his mind.

“Come lets go I have the perfect place”

“Lead the way Ian”

We walk across the street and grab the
car, and head up Euclid to Matzo’s at the clinic, it’s a great Lebanese restaurant that Ian and I have been coming to since high school, we had our first date here, many many moons ago. It’s funny we would always meet here when Ian came home from college, I don’t bring anyone here, this has always been Ian and my special place.

We have known the family here for years Serge and his wife Lydia, they are open twenty-four hours because they cater to the doctors at the Cleveland
clinic, they do all kinds of diner food but what we love is their Lebanese cuisine, it’s all homemade from scratch, it’s like eating is your grand-mother’s home. They would pinch our cheeks and ask us about school and they were always asking us when we are getting married, they use to give us Baklava for a sweet life together. They are just the best.

I got to hand it to you Ian remembering our place you are wonderful” I smile as we take a seat in a booth by the window. Ian looks around outside and notice how the neighborhood has changed over the years.

“The area has changed, it use to be all ethnic people now it’s
just a sign of the times as these streets are not the same as they use to be” Ian looks outside then at me and give me his stern look.

“Well I don’t want you coming up hear by y
ourself this late at night” When Ian scolds me, I am five, he has always watched over me, he loves me, and he worries, very authoritative and a bit foreboding around the edges.

So tell me Aria that grin on your face I don’t think I am the one who put it there” he looks at me in a somber way. I shake my head is he jealous of Mr. Luis Miguel? I don’t think I have ever seen him jealous before, mad yes, angry yes but this is sobering.

“Ian
are you jealous of Luis Miguel?” He is surprised by my question, he actually is, oh wow this night is crazy first Luis Miguel and now this, I need a drink and this place doesn’t have a bar.

“I have to say Aria seeing you with him
tonight you look like a kid on Christmas morning” I choke on my water and he hands me a napkin, thoughts of Tristan and I come to mind at The Ritz and our Christmas antics in the presidential suite at the Ritz. I calm myself and look at him.

“Are you ok Aria?” I clean my t
hroat.

Yes, I’m um fine” he looks at me and his dark brown eyes are burning to mine.

“Luis Miguel only you Aria only you”

“Ian I have been a fan of his forever! Tonight was just amazing, and the best part was you were here to share it with me” there that should put him at ease and it’s the truth.

“Your life is exciting Aria
, from delightful surprises to the ever shocking details, your never boring my dear”

Ian he just happen to be in the right place at the right time, and if it wasn’t me then he would have just gotten another suit from his hotel room, I don’t think I did anything that anyone else would have done in my position”

“Aria, you have always been the one to save the day, you take care of so many people, you watch over them
, you are always there for everyone, I want to take care of you” I look at him and those words hit me like a ton of bricks.

“Ian it’s sweet of you, really, I am not a little kid anymore, I can take care of myself, I have grown up a lot, I don’t need saving anymore” I just want to p
ut his mind at ease, I don’t like people doting on me and watching me and hounding me, I’ve grown up in an over protected catholic household my brothers were forever watching me and now I’m too old for that.

“Aria I don’t think I will ever stop worryi
ng about you” I shake my head as our food arrives, is that why he wants to marry me? Is this what all this is about, I just never heard him speak like this before, he is concerned of course about my welfare and safe being but is it because of love or fear?

Ian let’s eat I’m starved” we feast on shis-ta-wook’s which are marinated chicken in a pita with garlic mayo and a heavenly cucumber sauce. Their white rice is spicy and delicious and what they are known for is their fatoosh salad.

Ian and I have a nice
late night dinner, in the diner at the clinic, we talk and laugh and joke around like the two kids we still are in so many ways.

We say goodnight to our friends and as usual they give us Baklava to take home so we have a sweet life
. I love them both so much.

We get home and it is almost one am, Ian is tired I help him out of his shoes and I take off his tie as he sits down on the bed I take off his jacket and his reach for his zipper

“Aria I love you”

“Ian I love you too sweetie”

“No Aria I love you” he holds me by my arms and he makes me look at him our dark eyes melt together as he stakes his claim.

“Ian I love you” I hold his face in my hands and I nod yes to him
.

He lifts me up and pulls me down on the bed and he cages over me
.

“Ari
a you are so beautiful, I am in awe of you”

“Wow where is this coming from?”

“I just don’t want you to slip through my fingers”

“Ian I love
you, I love the way you look at me, I love the way you hold me, I love the way you love me” he kisses me as I undo the top button to his shirt and then the next and then the next until I have his shirt open.

“Ian I dress up
a lot of men all day but at the end of the day you are the only one I want to undress” he kisses me and that did it because  my dress came up my panties came down as Ian’s erection is trained to find me as he fills me. Ian touches me in a way that lets me know I am his, he holds me caresses me and cherishes me I mean what women wouldn’t want him under her pillow and that is what I am trying so desperately to convince myself of, that this man has spent the better part of his life adoring me from a far and now that he is here and has staked his claim on me I should be more willing to go into his good night than any others and that is why I give him all that I got, and I fuck his brains out, after we both calm and are sated he holds me to him as he lifts my dress over my head and he kisses me.

Aria you are so beautiful” we are good for each other it is a given…so much for no sex before the wedding I guess my confession is going to be a lengthy one at that.

“Aria I don’t think I am ever going to get my fill of you”

“My poor Ian, you are so tired, let me put you to bed” I take off the rest of his clothes and I put him to bed and cover him.

“I love yo
u Aria more than Luis Miguel”

“I love you more than Luis Miguel”
he smiles as he drifts off to sleep. Boy have I come a long way from no man, no sex, to having a naked man in my bed over the past month.
