The
waitress
returned
with
their
food
just
in
time
to
break
the
awkward
tension
that
had
developed
between
them.
It
was
just
the
ice
breaker
that
they
needed
to
change
the
subject
to
common
ground
other
then
Queen.
Naturally
the
conversation
quickly
turned
to
football.
An
unspoken
truce
was
called
and
the
two
friends
quickly
laid
all
of
their
animosity
to
the
side
and
enjoyed
each
others
company
for
the
remainder
of
afternoon.
Still
the
gauntlet
had
been
cast
and
neither
one
of
them
had
any
intention
of
backing
down
or
out
gracefully.

Chapter
51

Queen
was
as
nervous
as
a
virgin
in
a
hotel
room
on
prom
night
when
she
found
out
that
Logic
had
invited
Teddy
to
lunch
for
a
one
on
one,
man
to
man
talk.
It
didn

t
take
an
advance
degree
in
Rock
Science,
or
Quantum
Physics
to
figure
out
that
the
topic
of
the
discussion
was
going
to
be
her
scandalous
ass.
The
last
thing
she
wanted
to
hear
was
that
these
two
had
arranged
a
meeting
of
the
minds
to
compare
notes.
In
retrospect
she
had
to
ask
herself,

What
the
fuck
were
you
thinking?

Queen
knew
that
she
had
taken
advantage
of
Logic
and
was
taking
his
kindness
for
weakness.
She
had
allowed
this
shit
with
Teddy
to
get
way
too
far
out
of
control.
It
was
one
thing
to
allow
him
into
her
panties
and
a
whole
other
thing
to
allow
him
to
wiggle
his
way
into
her
heart.
Sex
is
physical
and
fleeting,
but
love
is
an
emotional
connection
which
can
last
an
eternity.

The
triple
truth
of
the
matter
is
that
the
heart
to
heart
to
talk
should
have
been
with
his
fiancé.

Since
Queen
came
back
to
Logic
after
their
unfortunate
breakup
and
her
subsequent
unfortunate
breakdown
he
had
let
a
whole
lot
of
Queen

s
bullshit
slide,
and
Queen
knew
it.
She
knew
that
this
was
totally
out
of
character
for
Logic
not
to
quickly
correct
a
nigga,
Teddy
for
stepping
to
her,
and
a
bitch,
Queen
for
allowing
him
to
get
in
balls
deep.

After
all,
if
she
didn

t
want
to
be
in
a
committed,
monogamous
relationship
then
she
should
never
have
accepted
his
ring
and
his
marriage
proposal.
But
she
did
and
fucking
Teddy
on
the
regular
and
dating
X
on
the
side
was
not
on
the
agenda.
Logic
chose
to
let
the
physical
attraction
go,
but
he
was
not
going
to
let
the
emotional
connection
go
unchecked
any
further
and
Queen
instinctively
knew
it.

She
figured
that
it
was
just
a
matter
of
time
before
he
put
his
foot
down,
or
broke
it
off
in
somebody

s
ass.
And
the
time
had
apparently
come
to
do
both.
She
kept
checking
her
cell
waiting
for
the
call
that
both
of
them
were
in
jail,
or
worse
one
was
in
hell
and
the
other
needed
bail.
But
the
call
never
came,
so
she
called
and
called
both
of
them
who
simply
ignored
her.

When
Teddy
did
not
respond
to
her
text
messages
it
dawned
on
her
that
he
had
as
much
right
as
Logic
to
be
pissed
the
fuck
off.

Yes,
he
was
a
willing
participant,
but
Queen

s
inability
to
separate
dick
and
love
had
given
him
a
sense
of
hope
that
he
could
replace
Logic
not
only
in
her
bed
but
in
her
heart.
Not
to
mentioned
that
he
begged
her
to
put
all
her
cards
on
the
table
and
come
clean
with
Logic
about
their
relationship
a
very
long
time
ago.
Something
she
now
wished
she
had
done.

Her
heart
stopped
as
she
heard
the
roar
of
Logic

s
Ferrari
approach
at
an
incredible
high
speed,
followed
in
close
pursuit
by
Teddy

s
Lamborghini.
Not
knowing
what
to
expect
she
bolted
for
the
door,
followed
in
close
tow
by
Dorian
and
Jade.
They
reached
the
drive
way
in
time
to
find
Logic
and
Teddy
laughing
and
giving
each
other
dap.

Nigga,
I
told
you
that
you
couldn

t
handle
me
on
the
straight
away
with
this
bitch!

Yeah,
but
I
had
your
ass
until
we
hit
the
highway.

Teddy
countered.

Of
course
you
did,
that

s
because
I
didn

t
know
where
the
hell
I
was
going.
Nigga,
you
forget
I

m
from
Vegas.
But
when
your
ass
hit
the
highway
and
I
knew
where
I
was

man
I
had
that
ass
for
dinner
and
shit.

That
bitch

s
fast
as
a
mother
fucka
though.
I
have
to
give
that
shit
to
you.

Teddy
conceded.
