They might not have meant to leave her close to being a raging nymphomaniac, but they had. Every day she woke to the need to come, repeatedly, only to realize that no matter how many times she came, how many times she used her dildos on herself, nothing could replace the two men who had made her this way. Damn them.

Mia spun around. She had to get out of here and get home before some horny guy realized she would be easy, if only he knew what buttons to push. Too bad she couldn’t leave. The last thing she needed was some idiot following her around, trying to get into her pants. It didn’t matter that another man’s touch would make her ill. She would lead him on, just the same.

Her employer, Mitchell Harding, was one of the jewelers sponsoring this event. He told her that her only excuse not to be here representing the firm along with everyone else was only if she,
too
, celebrated by getting married. He didn’t give a damn with whom. He only wanted the publicity.

Mia moved toward the string of portable toilets. She wanted to know that the contractor had followed instructions and clearly marked them all men or women before the crowd grew too large to fix any mistakes.

She walked along the rows of portable Johns and tried not to think about everything she had missed over the last year, but failed miserably. Climbing inside one of the small units, she sat down on the edge of the seat and cried for everything that could have been.

An hour later, she finally pulled herself together enough to exit the portable bathroom when someone pounded on the door. “There’s a line out here and you’ve been in there forever. Move it!”

The other women gave her looks of disgust mixed with concern when she exited, her eyes swollen and red. No amount of powder from her compact would cover up the fact that she’d been crying her heart out. Still, the call of nature had them pressing forward, eager to use the facilities provided.

Mia looked around, surprised to see that the sun had set while she had been feeling sorry for herself. She wiped her eyes on her sleeve and went in search of the others in her group.

“Attention! Attention, everyone. Please grasp your loved one by the hand and listen.”

She glanced toward the stage. The local preacher stood up on the platform where he would instruct everyone on how to participate. Weaving her way through the crowd, Mia caught a glimpse of a man she could have sworn was Vincent, but shook her head.

How many times had she thought she’d seen them here last year? She had even stayed until everyone had left, thinking that something had happened to their sense of smell and that was the reason they couldn’t find her. After all, they had said they could find her anywhere…but they hadn’t.

Blinking away her tears, she turned away from the man, refusing to fall into that trap again. She had learned from experience that any blond man of the right height could resemble Vincent and any black-haired man could take on the perfection of Pierce, but only for a moment.

“Mia.”

Spinning around, she frowned. Had someone called her? She looked for her co-workers, but saw no one she recognized until the crowd parted and both Vincent and Peirce moved through the throng.

Dressed in tight black leather pants, collarless shirts, leather jackets and biker boots, they both looked good enough to eat. Mia bit her lip and scowled at them, ignoring the armful of red roses they both carried.

“You’re a bit late, aren’t you?” She crossed her arms and fought the urge to run away. Lifting her chin in the air, she met their gazes with what she hoped was an expression of disinterest.

“We can explain.” They said at the same time.

“No.” She shook her head. “You can’t. A week, you could explain. Maybe even a month, but you two have been gone over a year.” She wiped her face with the back of her hand, unsurprised that it came away wet with tears. “Just go away. Whatever we had is gone. The trust is gone.”

How could she ever believe another word that came from their lips?

“Our assignment went bad. We had no way to contact you and Max, our leader, had no way of knowing that we had found our mate.”

Well, as excuses went, it didn’t suck. Mia bit her lip. “You were gone a year. A whole year!” Tears tracked down her face unheeded. “Something happened to me.” She shook her head, wrapping her arms tighter about her body, as though it would help with her constant pain. “Somehow, we mated, at least partially. I—I can’t stand for another man to touch me and no matter how many times I bring myself to orgasm, I can’t seem to relax. Nothing satisfies me.”

It felt as though she was going crazy. She couldn’t seem to get sex off her mind. “Whatever you did to me the last night we were together, turned me into some sort of sex-crazed hussy who can’t stand to feel a man’s hands on her skin. I’ve been
hot-to-trot
like a mare in heat with no stallion to scratch her itch.”

Pierce reached out and pulled her into his arms. “Don’t worry, baby. “We’re here now. We’ll scratch your itch for you.”

As much as she wanted to tell them to piss off, she knew she couldn’t. She loved them, damn it, and she didn’t want to live without them no matter how much she wanted to hit them at the moment.

“I can’t.” She backed away from them both. “How can I ever trust you again?”

“You’ll trust us if you would only give us a chance.” Vincent moved toward her, his expression sincere. “Once we’re fully mated, you’ll see into our minds. Then you will know that we speak the truth,” he said earnestly. “We love you. We have missed you. You were what kept us going this last year. Don’t tell us that you can’t forgive us. Please.”

Mia turned away. How could she tell them to get out of her life? For the last year, she’d wished them back into her life. Every day she wanted them back. Hell, every minute of every day she had prayed for them to waltz back into her life. Was she really stupid enough to let them go again?

A hush fell over the crowd as the preacher stood on the stage before the microphone and began the mass wedding. “Do you take each other to have and to hold…”

“You know,” Mia said as she looked up at her two men. “I don’t need this ceremony. What I need is
your
ceremony. It will bind us together more surely than any human wedding.” She grabbed them both by the hand and led them through the crowd. “We’re going home and you’re going to mate me once and for all, damn it.”

She wasn’t sure, but she thought she saw them both grin.

“Anything you want, darlin’,” Pierce said. He was smiling. She could hear it.

An hour later, they stood staring at each other in her bedroom. She wanted nothing more than to strip them naked and inspect every inch of their perfect bodies, but she had to know.

“Where have you been?”

“Max, our boss, sent us to Washington. It was supposed to be a two-day assignment. You know that.” Vincent began to pace the length of the room. “It was a trap, an ambush. They didn’t want our help. They wanted to study us. They kept us so drugged, we had no idea what was up.”

“Hell, we didn’t even know that we
could
be drugged until they did it,” Pierce added. “They held us in a lab, trying to figure out what makes us stronger, faster, read minds.” He grinned. “What they didn’t expect was the safety mechanism in our blood. UV rays kill it. As you know, they don’t kill us, but the sun isn’t good for our blood.”

“They even tried taking our blood after dark, but with the same results. We didn’t tell them that their fluorescent lights have the same effect.” He shrugged. “Why should we.” He thinned his lips, his eyes narrowing. “We went to help them understand our kind through a sharing of information, and they chose to hold us captive while they drugged us and nipped body parts for their tests.”

“One day, one of the new, young interns told us they’d been drugging the blood she brought us.” Pierce strode to the window and stared out through the glass, his hands in his pockets. “She then informed us that she had been giving us clean blood for two days and when our heads cleared that we should act out of sorts until we were strong enough to break out. Her only stipulation was that we take her with us.”

“They would have reprimanded her at the very least. Sooner or later someone would have figured out she helped us.” Vincent stopped pacing to lean his hip against the wall. “We took her to the island. She will get protection there. Besides,” he said with a grin. “She could very well be someone’s mate.”

“So you’re home for good, now?”

“Yes,” they said at the same time.

“Max won’t send those with mates into what could potentially be a dangerous situation.” Pierce turned to face her. “And we wouldn’t accept if he tried.” He shook his head. “Not now.”

“Because of me?” Mia hoped she was the reason. She still loved them more than was prudent, but there it was.

“Yes, love, because of you.” Vincent moved closer. Wrapping his arms around her, he pulled her close. “I can’t tell you how many nights I dreamed of you.” He bent forward, burying his nose in her hair. “How many days I spent wishing I could hold you like this and smell your sweet scent.”

“I dreamt of holding you close, kissing you behind the ear in that sweet spot that makes you whimper.” Pierce leaned down, pressing his lips to the spot just behind and below her ear. “I spent nearly every waking moment dreaming of throwing your legs over my shoulders, burying my face in your sweet-smelling cunt, and lapping up your thick cream.”

Mia’s legs went weak and a little noise escaped her throat. Her stomach clenched and cream slid from her channel to coat her panties.

Pierce caressed her hips, his hands moving around to cup her cheeks as Vincent pulled her close, pressing the length of his cock against her lower abdomen. He took her mouth in a rough kiss, his tongue sliding into her mouth to tangle with hers.

Nothing could have prepared her for the white-hot heat of their touch. Over the last year, the touch of every man had left her cold. Sometimes, it even made her sick. Yet these two built a fire in her blood, their fingers scorching as they skimmed over her flesh.

Before she knew it, she stood before them totally naked. Somehow, they had peeled every layer of clothing from her as she stood within their arms, her body reveling in the touch of their strong hands against her quivering flesh.

Vincent stepped back and pulled his shirt over his head. Mia’s fingers itched to feel the crisp hairs on his chest, to touch the flat brown nipples and caress the rippling muscles of his abdomen.

“Eep!” She squealed when Pierce scooped her up in his arms and held her against his bare chest. Looking up into his dark, coffee-colored eyes, she swallowed at his intense stare. “I—I love you.”

Mia closed her eyes. She hadn’t meant to say it. Not yet. Not with everything that still hung between them. She bit her lip and watched his gaze darken as he stared at her mouth.

“I can’t wait to feel those lush lips wrapped around my cock.” He cupped her cheek, brushing her bottom lip with his thumb.

“I can’t wait, either,” she said breathless. It wasn’t a lie. She’d waited long enough for her men to come back into her life. Now that she had them, she didn’t know what to do first.

“You will.” Pierce ravaged her mouth with a passionate kiss before lifting his head to stare down into her eyes.

She swallowed thickly. Had he been talking about something else, or had he read her mind?

“We all will wait,” he added. Our first order of business is mating you properly so we can think straight.” Pierce shook his head as though to clear it, before glancing at Vincent. “Neither of us has been able to concentrate worth a damn since our last night together. We aren’t sure, but we think we might have accidentally begun the mating process before we left.”

“If we did, it would explain our emotions and Mia’s need for sex,” Vincent said as he moved to sit on the bed and patted a space in the middle. “It’s time to lay our mate down, Pierce. She’s the only thing I want to think about over the next few hours. Perhaps we should take the phone off the hook.”

“Easier done than said.” Pierce grinned and swiped the phone off the night stand. It fell to the floor, its receiver out of the cradle.

Pierce moved down between her legs. Pressing her knees apart, he crawled between her thighs, resting her legs over his shoulders the way he said he’d dreamt about.

Mia’s stomach clenched at the sensation of his warm breath against her nether flesh, her back arching when he snaked his tongue between her labia to stroke her clit. “Don’t tease me, Pierce. Please.” She gasped when Vincent drew one rigid nipple into his mouth while he tugged the other one to equal hardness with his experience fingers.

Pierce pulled her labia apart and blew against her clit. Cream seeped from her channel and she groaned. She couldn’t take their teasing. Not tonight.

“I swear on everything holy that if you two don’t get busy, I’ll kill you both.” She practically growled the words.

Chuckling, Pierce lowered his head and shoved his tongue inside her. Using his thumb, he rubbed her clit as he meticulously sucked the cream from her channel.

She squirmed, her breath coming in short pants. Raising her head, she glanced down at her two lovers, almost unable to believe this was real and not another frustrating dream. With a sigh, she let her head fall back onto the bed. Right now it didn’t matter. Real or not, dream or not, she could feel her climax growing closer.

“Look at me,” Vincent said as he rose over her to look down into her face. His amber eyes glowed in the darkness, showing her how much he wanted her. They had once told her that only anger or pure uncontrollable lust could cause their eyes to glow. She had no reason to believe he was angry.

Reaching up, she cupped his cheek with a smile as he lowered his face to hers. “I can’t believe how beautiful you are,” he said softly. His deep voice touched her in places nothing ever had. More cream slid from her channel as Pierce made a sound of appreciation and lapped it up.

Leaning down, Vincent pressed his lips against hers, his tongue teasing her mouth open as she wrapped her arms around his shoulders, her fingertips digging into his hard muscles as he mimicked fucking her with his tongue.
