Chapter
Fifteen

When I came back out, I sighed and grabbed my
bag from next to the door. All I had in my bag was my outfit from the night at
the club. Again, I sighed, pulling out my skirt. I didn't have my fishnets, considering
Keegan took those off of me. I pulled on my skirt and looked down at my legs.

“I guess I could go without them,” I said to
myself, shrugging. I heard Jett coming back down the stairs and I looked up at
him. He smiled his crooked smile and handed me a bag from an alternative store
that we shopped at frequently.

“I went shopping while you were away,” Jett
told me. I couldn’t help but smile. I took the bag and opened it. Inside the
bag were three different pairs of fishnets: a neon pink pair, a black pair and
a neon blue pair; a beater with penguins on it; a beater with Tinker Bell on
it; a black push-up bra with cherries on it and a pair of black pants with red
stitching, chains and silver studs. My smile broadened and I kissed him.

“Thanks, Jett.” He blushed. I took my skirt
back off as he watched me, his eyebrow cocked.

“No panties?” I smirked.

“Don't you love it?” He laughed.

“Maybe, but you don't have any others, do
you?” Jett asked. I shook my head. He shook his in return. “Hold on.” I stood
in the living room in just one of Jett's tee shirts. I looked around, pursing
my lips.

“This is interesting,” I mumbled. Jett came
back down and handed me another bag. I looked at him, cocking an eyebrow.

“These were supposed to be a gift for a
special occasion,” Jett said shrugging. Again, the bag was from the alternative
shop. I cautiously peeked inside the bag, before laughing. “What?” I pulled out
several pairs of boycut panties and one thong: one pair was black with pink
skulls; the thong was black with some penguins; another was purple with white
skulls and yet another was green with nautical stars. I grabbed the pair with
the penguins and threw the rest back in the bag.

“Gotta match the panties with the shirt,” I
joked. Jett laughed. I pulled the panties on, then the pants he bought me.
Taking off his shirt, I threw it at him and quickly slipped on my new bra. The
beater with penguins followed. Jett whistled.

“You matching the shirt and panties for
Oliver?” Jett asked, sounding flirty and batting his gorgeous eyes. I laughed
hard.

“Nope. Just for me.”

“Let's go,” Jett said, taking my hand. I laced
my fingers with his. I knew it would soon be over.

Chapter
Sixteen

“I'm here for Detectives Royce and Bensley,” I
told a gentleman at the entrance of the precinct. He looked at me cautiously,
before picking up the phone and calling back. A moment later, another man I
hadn't seen before, came out and approached me.

“Myka Marsters?” He asked me. This man was as
tall and skinny as Jett, if not slightly taller. He wore glasses and had
salt-and-pepper hair. Again, he was an attractive older man. I looked at him
cautiously.

“Maybe,” I replied. He cocked his eyebrow at
me.

“I'm Detective Bronson. Detective Royce sent me
out to get you,” the detective explained, rolling his eyes. I smirked. “He has
to wait out here.” Jett put his hands up and took a seat.

Detective Bronson led me through the room with
all of their desks. We passed a man with mocha-colored skin and hair that was
back in a seriously smooth ponytail. Damn, he was good. I had never been able
to get mine that smooth. The man was a little on the stocky side, but he looked
tougher than anyone I had ever met and he was a few inches taller than me. This
place was full of attractive men. I smirked at him as we passed.

“Who do we have here, Bronson?” The man
questioned after we had passed.

“One of Ell's and Oliver's girls,” Detective
Bronson answered him. I scowled slightly.

“Nice to meet you, Princess,” the gentleman
said to me. I nodded as Detective Bronson sat me at a desk across from the
other gentleman.

“Myka, meet my partner Detective Harris,”
Detective Bronson introduced me. I looked up at Bronson.

“Where are the detectives I want to see?” I
questioned.

“Something came up, but they asked us to help
you,” Detective Harris replied for him. I looked at Harris.

“Can't he speak for himself?” I had a bit of
an attitude.

“Well, excuse me, Princess,” he replied,
giving me attitude right back. I smiled. “What are you smiling at?”

“You.”

“Myka,” Detective Bronson brought my attention
to him. “Do you want to go into one of the rooms to talk?” I looked around the
room we were in and there were a lot of detectives in there.

“I'd prefer that, thank you,” I answered him.
I stood back up and the two detectives led me into an empty interrogation room.
I sat at the table and Detective Bronson sat across from me, while Detective
Harris sat on the table next to me. He held a notepad.

“So, what happened last night? Detective Royce
said that you were abducted by your ex-fiancé, correct?” Detective Bronson
asked. I nodded.

“Korbyn came to Jett's and put something over
my mouth that knocked me out,” I began.

“Now who's Jett?” Detective Harris questioned.
I rolled my eyes.

“Do you guys know anything about what's
happened?” Harris gave me a hell of a look and I snickered. “Jett is kind of my
boyfriend.” Harris went to ask me another question and I knew what it was.
“Jett is mostly my boyfriend. He saves me when I need it. He was my best friend
and I’m starting to fall in love with him. Okay?” Harris put his hands up.
Bronson snickered.

“What else happened?” Detective Bronson wanted
the rest of the story.

“When I woke up, I was tied to Korbyn's bed,
with him on top of me, his brother Keegan watching and two other guys that are
in his band,” I started again. “Korbyn cut my clothes off of me with a knife.
He slapped me around a few times. Keegan violated me with his fingers, Korbyn
with - “my voice cracked as I realized I was going to cry “- with his tongue.”
I shivered violently. Detective Harris didn’t take his eyes off of me. So, I
met his eyes with mine. “Then Korbyn got back on top of me and slid inside,
while Kee slapped my face with his...” I trailed off, shaking my head.

“It's okay, Myka. You're doing great,”
Detective Harris comforted me.

“Since I had called to Brady, one of his band
mates, as he had left the room, Korb called him back into the room,” I
continued. “The twins got off and did their own thing while Brady climbed on
top of me. He soothed me the whole time he was on top of me and told me he had
called Jett. Brady told me he'd stay put, just so the twins wouldn't get a hold
of me again. He just held me, but was putting on a show for the rest of them.
Brady was a guy I had been crazy about for as long as I'd been with Korbyn.
Well, while that was going down, while he was pretending and comforting me, I
told him to really do it. So, while he was, he untied my wrists, all the while
whispering in my ear. Jett doesn't know that I had sex with Brady. Please don't
tell him.  I was right on the verge of tears. The detectives were silent
for a moment.

“So Korbyn raped and assaulted you sexually
and physically, Keegan assaulted you sexually and you had sex with Brady?” Detective
Bronson asked, making sure he had the story straight. I nodded slowly.

“I haven't even had sex with Jett yet,” I
whispered, tears streaming down my cheeks. “Besides, if it hadn't been
convincing, Korbyn and Keegan would have figured it out and would have done
something themselves.”

“So you didn't have much of a choice, Myka,”
Detective Harris told me as I wiped the tears from my face. “It wasn't rape,
but you had no other choice or the twins could have killed you.” I tried to
suppress it, but a sob escaped my lips anyways. The detectives traded looks
again.

“Did you have a rape kit done the other
night?” Detective Bronson asked me. I nodded.

“First one I've ever had. I've never turned in
anyone else,” I told them.

“There were others?  Harris asked me. Again,
I nodded. “How many?” I laughed harshly.

“Too many to remember.”

Both detectives sighed at the same time, which
was actually kind of creepy, and they shared a look once again.

“So I m a whore,” I snapped. Harris put his
hands up.

“Hey, Princess, no one ever said that. No one
here thinks that,” he snapped right back. I held his stare and noticed that his
eyes were actually soft beneath that hardcore outer shell. I smiled. “What are
you smiling at now?”

“You,” Detective Bronson and I answered him in
unison. I snickered, wiping my nose.

“That rape kit should be back today. Once we
have the DNA match I will personally take these cowards down,” Detective Harris
told me. I nodded.

“Can I go now?” I asked. The detectives stood
up, Bronson getting the door for me.

“You came to us, remember?” Bronson said. I
got up and started to walk out. Then I stopped and turned around.

“You’ll let me know when my rape kit comes
back?”

“Of course, Princess,” Harris answered me.
“We'll get these bastards.” I smiled and hesitated a moment before sticking my
hand out to him, then to Bronson.

“Thank you.” Then, I left.

Chapter
Seventeen

Jett took me back to his place and I lay down
on his couch. I just wasn’t feeling good and pregnancy raced through my mind. I
shook my head, hoping to shake the thought away.

Jett sat next to me on the couch and wrapped
his arms around me. He kissed me gently before looking into my eyes.

“I love you, Myka. I don't want to lose you.
Ever. I want to spend the rest of my life with you,” Jett told me. I was
shocked.

“I - I love you, too, Jett,” I whispered. He
pulled a small box out of his pocket.

“It's not much, but it's a start,” Jett said,
opening the box. I was speechless. Inside the box was a white gold ring that
had hearts going across the top and bottom of the ring, with alexandrite stones
dotting the middle, in-between the rows of hearts. I looked up at him finally
and kissed him hard.

“It's gorgeous,” I breathed, putting my hand
out to him. Jett slid the ring on my finger. “Forever, Jett.” I kissed him
again.

The next thing I knew, Jett and I were making
love on his couch. It was pure ecstasy. We breathed in sync, we thrust in sync,
and we came in sync. It was pure bliss.

Chapter
Eighteen

I must have fallen asleep after Jett and I
made love, because the next thing I knew was that the whole house was dark and
Jett wasn't anywhere to be found. I tried his cell phone. I even called Jais,
but Jais hadn't seen him. I grew worried. I grabbed my jacket and walked eight
blocks to my place. As I approached the house, I took off the ring from Jett
and stuck it in my pocket. I didn't need any more trouble than I was most
likely going to go through.

The lights downstairs were off, so I pulled
out my keys and unlocked the door. I walked inside slowly.

“Hello?” I called. “Anyone home?” I knew that
this was probably really stupid, but I really needed some of my things. Of
course, stupid was an understatement.

I closed the door and when I looked back up, Korbyn
stood there, looking down at me. His face was cut and bruised. Jett must have
really taken care of him. Korb's brown eyes glared at me, almost black in
color.

“Korbyn!”

“What the hell are you doing here, Myka?” he
asked me.

“Well. I live here, Korb,” I replied. “I need
some of my things.” Korbyn took a couple steps closer to me and my back wound
up against the door.

“Are you afraid of me, baby?” Korb questioned,
placing his hands on the door at either side of my head. I nodded slowly, chewing
on my lip. He tried to kiss me, but I ducked away from him and out from under
his right arm.

“I just came for some of my things,” I
repeated myself.

“You're not leaving me again,” he said,
grabbing my broken wrist. I winced. I was surprised how well the cast had held
up over those past few days.

“Don't Korbyn,” I told him sternly. Korb
pulled me against him, wrapping his arms around me. I tried pushing him away
from me.

“You're mine, Myka. Mine!” Korbyn put his lips
to my forehead, holding me tight. I couldn’t help but start to cry. He tipped
my face up to his and he kissed me. I tried getting away from him, but Korb
held me tight. It took me a few minutes, but I was finally able to pull away
from him.

“I just came to get some of my things,” I
repeated once again. He let me go that time. I walked up to our bedroom and I
grabbed some of my clothes, then I went to the bathroom to grab some
toiletries.

As I went to leave the bathroom, I walked
right into Keegan s arms.

“Well. Hello, Myka,” Kee greeted me, looking
me up and down. I ducked under his arm and headed towards the stairs. “Don't
ignore me, bitch.”

“Korbyn!” I called down to my ex from the top
of the stairs.

“I said don't ignore me!” Keegan cried from
behind me, and then shoved me. I saw the stairs coming at my face and I did
what I could to protect my face as I fell. All went black by the time I hit the
bottom of the stairs.
