Sitting up on his
crotch, I rock back and forward slowly whilst looking him in the eyes.

“I want you Ruk, last night was me showing you that, and showing everyone that I care for, that I want you. I have never danced for a man like I did last night, and I never will again,” I tell him honestly.

“That would be cruel to keep your chosen away from such talent.”

“Well why don’t you be him then,” I tell him with a hidden plea.

“Don’t Zara, you know it can’t be.”

“Yeah so you keep saying. I’m going to get a shower; we need to get everyone together. Please don’t look at me like that Ruk, I don’t want your sympathy, I need your strength, today has to work,” I tell him before I climb off him and head to the shower.

Jumping in the shower, I wash away the unimaginable thought of Ruk and me never being together again, and replace it with the need of a clear mind. Today we will have to tell the bothers’ of our plans, which is a little daunting as we have no idea how they will react to Dallah and I putting ourselves in danger. We could have done with Angus being there to help us convince them this is the only way,  but as it’s only morning and he will be in a coma like sleep till sundown, we're on our own. I cannot let this worry me, as I have to put my everything into speaking the magic at the bonding and putting the magic of the spell into the dagger that my mother gifted me with.

Drying my hair and applying a small amount of make-up, I dress myself in a coral colored knee length dress and a pair of white open toed shoes. Having the power to dress myself in what I picture in my mind, is so cool, and will save me a serious amount of money.

“Ok all done, it’s yours,” I tell Ruk as I walk out of the bathroom, but he isn’t there, just a note stuck to the mirror saying,

We will meet you and Dallah on the beach we were at the other day. I will keep you safe today baby’

Walking along the long corridor to Dallah’s room, I stop when I hear my name whispered from behind me. Turning on my heel quickly, I instantly relax when I see who it is.

“Eric, how are you?” I ask with a happy grin.

“I’m well child. I wanted to wish you luck for tonight, you will do them all proud, but tell me child, why are you giving your Protector your heart, it will end badly, not just for you. It needs to end; you need to stop this now before your heart joins his.” He tells me in desperation for me to take heed of his words and act on them.

“Yeah, I get it, is that all? Cos I need to go to Dallah, or do you have any other bad news?” I tell him in annoyance, and then regret instantly, “I’m sorry that was out of line, I know you’re helping me. I’m just a little nervous, as this all depends on me,” I tell him with a sigh.

“I know Zara, you will do well, I have faith in you. Don’t think of anything but the spell. Find your chosen one, as soon as this is over, he is closer than you think, and the love you will share will rescue you both completing your lives for an eternity.” He tells me before he takes me in his arms and holds me tightly.

“Why are you helping me? How close is he?” I ask him, but he has vanished from my arms.

“Motherfuckingshit,” I mumble in annoyance.

“Something wrong?” Dallah asks, while opening her bedroom door.

Walking the rest of the way, and entering the room, I flop into the chair by her vanity table.

“No, I’m good, how about you?”

“Yeah, I’m good, I can’t wait to speak with the Brothers’, and have everything set in place. Are you feeling confident about the spell?”

“Good. Yep, I’m gunna do you proud little Witch,” I wink at her, making her smile, “Ruk wants us to meet them all at the beach. Are you all set to leave?”

“Yeah, let me just put my shoes on. Love your outfit by the way,” She tells me before she slips her shoes on, and making me roll my eyes.

She is putting up such a brave front; my heart goes out to her my amazing sister.

Transporting ourselves to the beach, we are met by all the brothers, Theo, and a still pissed off Den, what’s new? Locking eyes with Ruk, I smile at him sweetly as we make our way over, but not before removing our heels.

Standing before the men that mean so much to me, I don’t know where to begin, or how.

“Ok, we wanted to tell you that we have a plan for today, so please listen to me and leave the shouting till after,” I tell them a little nervously, as they watch me intensely. Ruk sees me struggling to get my words out and comes to stand behind me, holding me in his arms knowing that I need him. Having him close to me instantly gives me the courage I need.

“I have an ancient book called ‘The book of Kartam’, it is a book of magic containing words that can only be read and spoken by a descendent of the writer of the book, which turns out to be me. The spell when spoken will curse Richard and leave him powerless for just one minute, in that minute Richard has to be stabbed in the heart with a special blade. This is our only opportunity to kill him and free Dallah. But we cannot tell how his allies will react to this, so we need you all to be on high alert, as they could turn on us. If they cry for blood, then we will find ourselves caught in a battle we can’t win.”

“Zara, we will fight to the death, but we want the whole truth, stop shutting us out!” Sallack shouts angrily.

“Tell us babe, you can trust us,” Mickey says gently.

“I know I can, I haven’t told you because I could put your lives in danger,” I tell them.

“Danger from who?” Den asks unbelievingly.

“Please don’t ask...”

“Daughter, tell them, you have chosen them as your family, they all have great gifts now, as do Angus and Parrise,” My mother tells me as she stands before Ruk and me. Everyone is looking at her in awe.

“You’re sure?” I ask her in disbelief and my tears fall down my face in relief, feeling like a massive weight has been lifted from me, now that they will finally hear the truth.

“Yes, I can see the glow around them, the glow you gave to them. You need to accept them like you did Ruk, give them the marks. I want to tell you so much darling, but this is all I can give you for now, I am sorry. Ruk, you look after my baby, she needs you more than you think,” My mother tells him with a knowing grin, while I stand with my mouth on the floor.

“I will,” He tells her with a gracious nod of his head.

She then stands before Dallah, with a stunning smile,

“You are more than I could have hoped for Dallah; you are my daughter now, my two girls fighting for good, fighting for love.” She tells her before kissing her head, and leaving Dallah speechless.

Walking up to Den, she places her hand on his cheek lovingly.

“Stop being angry Den, Zara has needed you, but your anger took its place, don’t lose what you have built between you, don’t blacken your heart. Zara come here,” She calls to me.

Walking to stand beside her, I take her velvety smooth hand in mine as she positions me before Den.

“Put your palm to his heart, and you Den, touch her heart,” She tells us gently. As soon as we do as she asks, Den and I levitate off the sand by a few feet, as I watch his eyes burn that amazing shade of purple, just like Ruk’s. My mother touches our arms and we gently land back on our feet.

Taking my hand again
, she takes me to stand before Sallack, while I am stunned to silence trying to take this all in.

“Sallack, you are a fine warrior, you will find your one soon, I’m sure of it,” She tells him with a smirk, “Now, touch one another’s heart.”

Just like
I had done with Den, we levitate and his eyes burn brightly as my mother brings us down to our feet. Again not wasting time, we walk to stand before Theo.

“Theo, you are a good man, do not listen to the spiteful words of others. Zara is your family now, the Brothers’ are your brothers. They are the family you crave.”

I do the same with Theo as I have with Den and Sallack, before standing before Mickey.

“Mickey, you are the glue in this family, such a beautiful man,” She tells him gently before I step up to him and place my hand over his heart.

“Dom, you knew all this time, but never questioned her, I love you for that. Such a loyal man,” She tells him with a kiss to the cheek.

I then do the same with Dom, who gives me a heart-warming smile.

“Men, put your differences aside, you will one day be at war, fighting for good. Love each other, take care of one another, and unite. My beautiful Zara, the heart will mend, only when it is meant
to,” She says, turning back to me and hugging me tightly.

“I have to leave, I shouldn’t be here. I love you, so much love for you daughter,” She says as her body shimmers into nothing.

Breathing heavy, I look to the
Brothers’, waiting for them to speak, but they don’t.

“Dallah?”

“That was your mother?” She asks in disbelief.

“Yeah,” I tell her with pride.

“Ok, tell us why we just watched your eyes glow a purple color while we levitated in the air?” Sallack asks.

“I’m the Charmer Sallack, I chose you as my family.”

“No! This can’t be!” He shouts while pulling at his hair in frustration, not knowing what to do.

“I’m sorry Sallack,” I tell him.

“You’re sorry! I had the love of a Charmer! You loved me! You gave me everything; did you know you were a Charmer before you got here?” He asks me with tears in his eyes.

“I knew, and I still love you Sallack, I love you all,” I tell him with pride.

“What the Fucks is a Charmer?” Den asks looking at us as if we have grown three heads.

“A Charmer is blessed to the supernatural kind, to bring or restore love and compassion of those with Blackened hearts. She has power, strength, and beauty as her gifts. To be loved by a Charmer is whole-heartedly magical, and to be her family is a gift to be treasured dearly. Zara has given us all power and strength; we all now have immortality and immense strength, as well as Angus and Parrise, who will have the gift of day walking and immense strength. We are given these gifts to protect her and live at her side for eternity,” Dallah tells Den with pride as she steps to me and takes my hand.

When she finishes, he walks up to me with a look I have never seen before
, and holds my face in his hands.

“Charmer, my little Zara is this woman she speaks off?” He asks me in awe, and the feel of him looking at me with love in his eyes again is more than I could have wanted. Jumping onto him, I wrap my legs and arms around him.

“I’m sorry for keeping this from you,” I cry into him.

“Don’t you dare, I was a jealous prick. I love you babe, I’m so sorry for everything I have even done to hurt you babe,” He whispers into my hair before letting me down softly on my feet.

“I cannot believe this, come here,” Mickey says picking me up in a hug, “You look like her babe, your mother,” He tells me sweetly, not that I would ever believe it, there are no words to describe her beauty.

“What is this?” Dom asks, pulling his sleeve up showing us all the markings over his bicep.

“No way!” I say excitedly and run over to him, and run my fingers over it.

“Have you all got them?” I ask in shock, while gazing between them all.

There, sitting
on Everyman’s left bicep is the markings that we hold. Then, looking at Den my mouth opens wide when I see his are different from the others, he has the same markings as Ruk, over his heart!

Walking to him slowly, my fingers trace the swirling pattern before I look up at him in confusion.

“Why is mine different babe?” He asks me gently, but the way he says it is more like he wants me to really think about it before answering.
