“What the fuck are you doing in my room?” he says his voice cold and not half as sexy and appealing as it was when he said he was going to take my virginity.
“I went into your room to find some shampoo,” I say weak and whining. One minute he’s ready to fuck me and I’m ready for this more than anything. Ready to be taken and ravished by this handsome man and make me a woman, and the next minute, he’s calling me a little girl. And I’m shying away from him. He remembered seeing me. What man remembers seeing a young girl if he didn’t have something nasty on his mind, and looking at that closet he has hidden away, he has a whole lot of nastiness on his mind, but it doesn’t include me.
“If you don’t mind, I have to get ready for my fiancé, there’s a party at my lodge to welcome the new employees. If you will excuse me.”
Just like that he dismisses me. I lower my head and saunter back to my room. I plan on staying there until it’s time to go home. I haven’t been so embarrassed, as when a guy in high school, asked me to give him a pair of my underwear to take back and show his jock friends that he was no longer a virgin. He was white, too. White men and boys want virgins that’s my conclusion. I could be wrong. Maybe that’s the leverage I have with him.
I hear the door open and he leans out. “I hope to see you there.” It sounds promising but he was just being polite considering I may know his deepest and darkest secret and it may have to do with me. I remembered him asking about his housekeeper’s daughter. Did he go around seducing some unsuspecting young black woman, if so, why when he found out that I was Wayne’s sister did he hesitate?
Staying in my room until it was time to go home wasn’t practical. After my shower and straightening my hair which took a godly amount of hours, I dressed in a pair of jeans and a tee shirt. Although it was cold outside it was like a sauna in his house. The larger floor to ceiling windows had frost on them which reminded me of Christmas. But it was far from December. We were only in October.
I decided I would face Mr. Edward Wentworth so I gathered my courage and sauntered into the dining room. I was shocked to see Edward in conversation with a young woman in her twenties and a man about my age. I stopped at the door. Edward hesitated and stood. The young man stood as well.
“This is Robin Douglas, Wayne’s younger sister.”
The younger man says to break the ice and to relax me, “Do you spell your name Robin or Robyn?”
“Robin like a bird,” I say with a closed smile.
“Please sit,” I say looking around the room. Men standing make me nervous not because it’s good manners but because it signals that they are comfortable enough to be in charge and comfortable enough that they can show manners. Which could be bad and good.
W
hen I sit, after the young man pulls a chair out for me, a maid comes in and sets a plate and silverware and two glasses in front of me. Good thing Wayne sent me to charm school, where they taught me how to eat like a lady, but my mother had taught me those important things before then. She thought it was important to meet a refined young man once I graduated from college.
“Robin, this is my fiancée, Maggie Stuart, and that good looking man to your right is Ryan Stuart her brother.” I smile at Edward and Ryan. Maggie wasn’t too excited about seeing me and I could tell. She’s a blond with long hair and a long neck and she wasn’t as pretty as she was pretending to be. She smiled a lot and she had the most beautiful teeth but her big eyes were too big for her long face and neck. The hair hid her profile. To me she looked like a long neck witch.
Ryan is handsome in an odd way and has blond hair. Blonds never rocked my boat. That tall dark man sitting across from me who appears to look at me when no ones looking, turns me on.
“What brings you here to Colorado?” Maggie says, her voice a little nasal and high. She is so skinny I’m wondering whether she ever eats. She’s five eight and probably wears a size zero.
“My brother is getting engaged to Alexis and she wants to tell Edward first.” I had let the cat out of the bag. I hadn’t tried to.
Maggie glances at Edward and then to me and says, “Does Mr. and Mrs. Wentworth know about this?” She scans Edward for an answer, and he hunches his shoulders with a smile. What the fuck does he care? And why does she care I wonder.
I answer her, “I don’t think so and it’s no one’s business when someone wants to marry another person. Especially if they are well over the age of twenty.” She looks to Edward. He raises his hand to his mouth and gazes at me. He likes my answer and he likes me. Some girls know when a man wants them. The attraction is strong and I feel it and Maggie must have felt it too because she’s hanging on to him for dear life.
After dinner Ryan asks me to go with him and listen to some music, “Let’s leave these two love birds alone. He didn’t know how one of the love birds was ready to put his pecker into my pouch. We sat and talked and around eight o’clock Wayne and Alexis came in.
Alexis ran and kissed Edward. They were glad to see each other. Wayne and I used to be that close until Alexis came into the picture. But that didn’t mean that we didn’t love each other. Well, not until we were all sitting around, and Maggie said, “I hear you’re engaged, Alexis.”
“Where did you hear that?” Alexis said.
Because I didn’t want the matter to get worse, I fessed up. “I said it. I made a mistake.” I looked to Wayne and he was upset. His brow had double rows so I knew he was beyond pissed.
“I didn’t want anyone to know until Wayne asked me.” She really did love my brother and I could see it in her eyes and face. Her eyes lit up every time she looked at him. But when Maggie and Edward glanced at each other it was for reasons other than love.
Maggie looked like a gold digger, and he looked like he needed something or someone to satisfy a craving that had never been satisfied, or never will until the right person comes along.
Ryan looks around and checks his IPhone. “It’s time to get dressed and party.”
When you are as young as me and Ryan you look for a party. Wayne gets up, “Alexis and I will take the jeep to the lodge. You can go with Edward, Robin.” I wanted to go and I didn’t want to.
“No. I’ll wait on you,” I say standing and walking with Wayne. “We have to eat and shower and well we may not make it.” He’s smiling at Alexis and I can see that they are ready to go to bed and fuck into tomorrow.
Ryan stands and says, “Come with us Robin. I don’t have a date.” He’s good looking and I want to be around Edward.
“Come on, Robin. We want you to go.”
Well not all of you, I’m sure.
“Ok,” I say turning and meeting Edward’s glance. Looking at the warm glow in Edward’s eyes, I saw no reason not to go.
I dressed and walked out of the room and met everyone sitting waiting for the limo and chatting. My hair was in strings of curls down my back and I wore a black long sleeve dress with a white strip down the center. It was a designer dress that Alexis bought me.
Edward and Ryan said at the same time, “You look beautiful,” and they both laughed at the coincidence. Maggie had to add her two jealous cents in. “Is that dress a designer?” She says glancing at it and touching it.
“Yep it’s real,” I say turning around on my heels only for Edward.
“Did you borrow it from Alexis?” Maggie says with a snicker.
“No.”
Edward interrupted her. “We have to go now, Maggie. You can discuss the dresses later, I have to get there soon, it’s beginning to snow.” Ryan took my cape Alexis loaned me and put it over my shoulders.
“Don’t pay any attention to my sister. She thinks she’s the queen of the social set. She has to give everyone the once over before she accepts them.” I didn’t care what she was, and it had nothing to do with society, it had to do with Edward. She watched at how he’s gazing at me and she doesn’t like it.
When we arrived at the lodge, the party is well under way. I felt so uncomfortable because I’m the only black woman there and everyone’s eyes are on me. I held on to Ryan for dear life. “Don’t leave me,” I said to him.
“Don’t worry they are gawking because they have never seen a beautiful woman like you. Look around, my sister is nothing compared to you. And the other homely woman are from around here. They’ve never seen a woman with class and style.”
He made me feel awesome for a while. We walked into a large room which is like a ball room and there set more food. I wished I hadn’t eaten but I was too full to eat anymore. I had a drink of wine and some cake. More wine, more cake until I felt tipsy. It was good Wayne didn’t come. The music began and Ryan stood and held out his hand, and I took it and we walked to the dance floor, and when Edward rose with Maggie, everyone cheered him on and whistled.
“What’s that about,” I asked Ryan.
“It seems Edward has celebrity status because he brought a lot of jobs to this area by building this hotel and ski lodge. He has hunting and ski lodges located around his property and he owns everything for miles. He caters to the wealthy but everyone is welcome. He drops his prices so the town folk can learn to ski and stay at his lodges at certain times of the year.”
“Do you know how to ski?” Ryan ask. When I get ready to answer Ryan, I see Edward dancing with Maggie, and our eyes meet.
I felt a warm hand on my back and Edward says to Ryan, “Do you mind, I haven’t had a chance to welcome and talk to Robin.” Ryan is still holding on to my hand.
“Where is Maggie?”
“She’s in the ladies room.” Ryan lets loose of my hand.
He smiles at me and looks at me and says, “I’ll get us something to drink and let my brother in law have a dance with the most beautiful girl in the world.”
Edward gazes at me with smug delight. He has the same look that backed me up against the wall. “Did I tell you how beautiful you are?” His voice soft and smoldering.
“You’re pretty good looking yourself,” I say to him. He’s dancing close to me and I can feel his dick and it is growing every minute in his pants. He’s staring down at my breasts and he is shameful. He doesn’t try to hide that he wants me and he can taste me. I on the other hand don’t want anyone to know about my shameful feelings for him.
“I’m tired of pretending, and I’m tired of you pretending,” Edward says and he stops dancing in the middle of the floor. His eyes are hooded and he’s serious.
“I don’t know what you’re talking about.”
“I could take you and suck those brown tits until they are sore and paddle that little brown ass. Then I will take your pussy and come all in you. I should have done that and I regret it. You were ready and you wanted me.”
Oh shit he’s serious. That composed manner is hiding his true feelings for me. I felt his body with my every move, and if I saw it, others did, also.
“You are doing that young man a disservice by leading him on.” We are dancing again. He grabs my hand and he’s holding it hard.
“What are you talking about?” He pulls me close. “Feel me. I want you so bad I can taste you. So stop pretending that you don’t want me.”
“I think you have me wrong, Mr. Wentworth.”
“The only thing I have wrong is when I didn’t fuck you and break that hymen. Then you wouldn’t be taunting me like you are now.”
“Aren’t you engaged and getting married?” He didn’t answer me. I pulled away from him. “I’m going to find out what is taking Maggie so long in the restroom.” I turn and leave him on the floor. I see Ryan walk to the table with drinks.
I needed to go to the restroom and catch my breath, and I rush in that direction.
I
’m in shock when I pass up the restroom and have to turn around. I manage to get through the door without fainting. There are vanities everywhere and the stalls are decorated in pink. There are flowers in vases setting on the vanity tables.
Maggie is standing at the mirror surrounded by six other women and she’s chatting with them. It appears she knows them. I guess it’s important to know the workers if you’re planning on marrying the boss. I run to the stall as if I’m in a hurry to pee. I take a long time because I want to avoid her.
Walking to the mirror, I don’t see Maggie skulking around the corner, otherwise, I would have stayed in the toilet longer. I see her in the mirror and she’s looking at me from my head to my ass. She’s making me nervous but I know her kind. She feels threatened and I don’t know why. It’s like she knows something I don’t. Maggie is standing behind me looking into the mirror as I wash my hands and dry them with a warm towel.
I take out my comb and pass it through my hair and she says, “Are those real?” What is she talking about? My breasts or my hair; the way she’s looking at me, I don’t know what she’s talking about. I just want this week to end before I have to beat her ass, and it won’t go over well with Wayne or Edward, and where the fuck are Wayne and Alexis when I need them to keep me company? It’s because of them that I’m here.
“Everything you see on me is real.” She gets close to me and pulls a strand of my hair.
“Look Maggie if you ever do that again I will kick your ass.”
“I knew the street would come out sometimes.”
“And I knew the trash in you would come out, and if you touch me again, I with take the trash out and deposit it where it belongs. In the toilet.”
“If you think you will get your hands on Edward, think again Miss Thing. It takes a woman to handle a man like him. I bet you’ve never had a man touch you. It takes a woman to give him what he needs.” She has this sly nasty smile on her lips and she does look like a witch or bitch.
“At first it never occurred to me that I would have a chance with Edward. But after hearing how insecure and vulgar you are he doesn’t deserve someone like you anyway. Now get out of my way.” I pushed passed her, closed my bag and strutted out of the restroom. That was the best day I had. A woman being afraid that I would take her man. She practically begged me not to take him. I didn’t know I had a chance and now I do.
I walked to the table, looking at Ryan, handsome with is black suit and shirt, and then my eyes turn to Edward and he’s gazing at me and I can still feel his dick pressed against my mound when we were dancing. I’m standing thinking about him and I realize that I’m still standing. I was happy that Ryan was along. I couldn’t have tolerated another day seeing Edward with Maggie. He makes it a bit more tolerable.
