What the fuck! Just like that. I finish my fourth beer and push off my chair, leaving the table. I glance back, grimacing as the dealer starts throwing a new deck to the new players that have joined the table as if nothing happened! Shit. I lost my money and then some. I even have an hour left to play, but I can’t. I have got to get the hell out of here. I push past security, tables, dealer, chips,
everything
trying to get away from all of this temptation. I head to the elevators ready to call it a night when a hand starts massaging my shoulder and a sexy sweet voice fills my ears.

“Hey.” I turn. Well, this is a sight for sore eyes and exactly the distraction I need.
Maybe I don’t want to leave just yet.
My eyes take her in from head to toe. She’s no longer wearing her black blazer and skirt but a super short, snug black dress that emphasizes her assets including the long blonde hair cascading over her breasts. My eyes, as well as other parts of my anatomy, are really enjoying this distraction, and a few ideas and positions come to mind. She bites her lip suggestively.

“Um, have we met somewhere before?” she whispers seductively, taking a step closer to me. I shake my head and grin. She places both of her hands on my chest and slowly slides them down the front of my shirt. My eyes follow until they rest on the waistband of my jeans. She raises her lust-filled eyes as she tugs on them, positioning her curvy body closer to mine. She moans softly.
Damn that was fucking hot!
I wasn’t planning for this, but I need this. Something good has to come out of tonight.

“Where you headed, sweetheart?” I whisper.

“Up.” She takes my hand and leads me to the elevators.
Oh shit. I think I like where we’re going.
I stare at her ass in the tight dress, imagining my hands pulling on that long blonde hair before I give it to her. An elevator slides open, and we step in before anyone else comes around. I yank her against me, cup her hot ass tightly, and press her against my hard dick.

“Hold on.” she moans, pulling away. She takes a small key from her purse and turns to the control panel, locking the elevator on the top floor. “This is one of the benefits of working here.” She spins, licking her lips seductively. “Now, I’m ready.”

“You thought of everything,” I say. I notice the camera in the corner and grin to let everybody know that I’m really enjoying myself and not to hate. She raises her right leg, and I swiftly lift her up. I slide my hands up her smooth thighs as she wraps her legs around my waist. I realize she isn’t wearing panties and I nearly lose it. Maybe this is my lucky night after all.

She wastes no time before her lips are on mine. She tastes like cinnamon. I turn, pressing her back against the wall; her fingers dig into my back as she rubs herself on me. Pulling her dress up, I feel the wet heat between her legs, telling me she needs this as much as I do.

“Do you have protection?” I groan. Damn she’s not stopping and her hips are in constant motion. If she’s got it, I’ll give it to her. I’m not one who likes to disappoint. There’s no fucking turning back now. She stops moving on me, nibbling on my bottom lip before she slides her body off me long enough to dump everything in her purse to grab a condom. She flutters her eyelashes while dangling it in front of me with the most evil smile. Green light. I unzip my pants, pushing them down just enough. She tears the packet open with her teeth before sheathing my dick.
Damn, I like it. I like it a whole lot.
Without any delay, I swiftly lift her and she wraps her legs around me. In this position, my throbbing cock lines up perfectly with her tight heat. I position her lips right over my dick. She is practically dripping, proving that
she
is
and
has been
ready for me. She guides me inside her with her hand and moans loudly as I sink into her.

Fuck
.
” I groan, feeling her tightness every time I thrust.

“What’s your name?” she replies breathlessly, feeling her fingers scratching across my back.

“Don’t you already know my name?” I reply breathing heavily as I continue to thrust into her faster and harder chasing my release. I don’t fucking have the inclination for conversation right now.

“Remind me.” She moans in my ear.

“Why?” I groan.

“I wanna yell your name when I come.” She whimpers as she slams her lips on mine.

I lost it right there.

Tommy taps me on the shoulder, holding a yellow sticky note in front of my heavy eyes.

“Dude, who was she? I never got to see her.” He chuckles, flapping the piece of paper in front of me. “Did you get her name?”

“Does it matter? All that matters is she’s not here.” I moan. I like that in a girl. She knows what she wants, she gets it, and she leaves. He pulls the shades open and the morning sun fills the room.

“Damn, Tommy.” I groan and roll over, burying my face in the satin sheets, listening to him chuckle. Last night was not lucky for me at the table, but at least she helped me forget what I lost and didn’t hang around. Today’s a new day and my problem is still a fucking problem. I don’t know how I’m going fight the addiction since I’m already here. I can already feel the intense need to go downstairs and play. To win. I need to win. It all depends on my luck. I can pack up and leave right now, but I know I won’t. I know I can’t. I have to think positive. The glass is half full and all that optimistic bullshit.

I look up at Tommy and brush my hands over my face as I lay back on the pillow. “Dude, I’m thinking you may have to change your flight.”

“Oh, come on man,” he mumbles, throwing his baseball cap on the dresser.

“I’m just saying. Be prepared to hang out a little longer at the Mohegan Sun.” I smile, but nothing about my smiles says happy. It’s more like a desperate ass in a big hole trying to climb his way out.

“Come on Elle, stop being a downer! You’ve worked all week long and need to just go out with us girls.” Evelyn slips out of the locker room shower wrapped in the tiniest towel in existence. “If I’m lucky, maybe I can be Reed’s next victim.” She laughs as she drops the towel and starts to dress in an even skimpier outfit.

I’m not surprised that other girls are having fantasies of him,
but he’s so damn arrogant and cocky, with his raised eyebrow and that smirk plastered to his face, confronting me, but I found myself attracted to that. Why does he have to be that way? And why am I falling for it?

“I don’t know. Cane and I plan to watch the game tonight. I’m not really feeling the whole bar scene right now.” I exhale impatiently.

“Are you sure that’s it or does Cane just want you all to himself?” She turns to me after pulling her tank top over her head. “Come on Elle, liven up. Look dirty and play dirty is what I say. If you’re not going to cancel your plans with Cane, I will.” She grins mischievously, throwing her head back.

“Fine.” I counter, lacing up my sneakers. I shove my towel and flip-flops in my bag, and throw it over my shoulder, anxious to take a break from work for a couple days. “I’ll talk to him,” I reply, my eyes darting towards the exit.

I don’t know if I’m upset about being overworked, not wanting to go out, or Reed annoying me in every possible way. He’s gunning for me, but why? He doesn’t even know me. He could get his choice of any girl here, but he gravitates to
me
, the
only
one with a boyfriend. Maybe that’s the appeal, the unattainable.

“Hey, be ready by ten. No excuses.” she sings as she pulls her hair back in a ponytail. “Be prepared.” She winks mischievously.

“What do you mean?” I frown, wondering what she has planned for the night.

We might try something different tonight.” She giggles. “Oh, relax.” She scoffs, when she sees my frustrated expression. “It’s no biggie. We’re not going to the Gypsy Bar this time. I heard there’s a new club in downtown Boston called the Good Life that’s really hopping. We need to broaden our horizons so to speak.” She winks.

“Great! I can’t wait.” I can only imagine what that means for Evelyn. I pop in my earbuds, crank up the volume, and wave halfheartedly, already thinking about missing a quiet night with my boyfriend. How do I let people talk me into these things?

Evelyn shows up promptly at ten o’clock as promised, pulling up in her silver Mercedes convertible. She honks twice and turns downs her radio that’s blaring Train’s “Hey Soul Sister” when I step outside on the porch. Cane isn’t happy about the change in plans for the night. He says he might go out for a beer with some of the guys and then meet me at the Good Life. He was still trying to talk me out of going out when he left my house.

“Woohoo! Look at you! Girls’ night out becomes you! Has Cane seen you tonight?” Evelyn chirps, swinging her arm behind the front seat where a mysterious blonde sits quietly staring at me.

“Yes.” I frown. Cane wasn’t happy about what I was wearing, saying that it was too sexy. I’m starting to conclude that he really hates this girls’ night thing with Evelyn, but I believe spending time apart is good for our relationship. “Is it a little much?” I spin so she can see the whole outfit, a black miniskirt with a purple halter and black strappy pumps.

“Are you kidding me? You look fab, girlfriend! Get in!” Her mood is contagious, and I smile despite myself.

“Evelyn, you’re being rude,” the girl in the front seat purrs. “Are you going to introduce us?” She pouts, regarding me carefully.

“Oh, my bad. Elle, this is Mindy, Mindy, this is Elle. I work with her at the center. She’s a workaholic.” She rolls her eyes and giggles. “I had to drag her out tonight,” she replies, checking her makeup in the rearview mirror.

My jaw drops. She is the girl who hooked up with Reed, and I’m hanging out with her tonight.
This night looks to be memorable.
I slide into the back seat of the car, scrutinizing the girl—long blonde hair, grey blue eyes and full pouty lips. She’s dressed in an angel white dress, but we all know that she’s anything but that.

“So, you remember Mindy, right? She was the one who hooked up with Reed.” Evelyn looks at me through the rearview mirror.

“I don’t think it’s something to brag about,” I reply, lowering my eyes to hide my distaste.

“I would,” Mindy counters, looking over her shoulder at me. “He’s amazing; I mean if there’s one guy who knows...”

“All right, all right, I don’t need details!” I interrupt, holding up my hands hoping she’ll stop talking. Seriously, this girl is ready to give me every detail of her night with Reed. I’m definitely going to need a few drinks tonight, especially if she starts talking about that again.

“Oh lighten up, Elle, maybe there’s something that you can learn.” Evelyn jokes.

“My sex life with Cane is fine.” I say, looking out the window.
It’s more than fine. It’s perfect.

“That’s number one in a relationship.” Mindy says with a dazed and distant look in her eye.

What the hell does she know about relationships?

“Speaking of Reed, where’s he been? I’ve missed staring at his ass all week.” Evelyn pouts.

I was wondering the same thing. He asked for two days off, but he’s been gone for a whole week. I’ve been making excuses for him by telling the director that he’s sick. He hasn’t even had the courtesy to call. I’ve tried to reach him on his cell, but he doesn’t answer. Has something happened to him? Maybe he’s not coming back. My life will go back to normal and I won’t have to wrestle with these feelings and stop hiding. I think I’ll be happy with that, but I have a hard time convincing myself.
