"There is a price to let you both in, ahead of everyone else." Xavier says, his face, stony and yet, his eyes are twinkling.

"What price would that be?" I ask, my voice has a slight tremor in it, that even I can hear as I feel adrenaline flooding my body again.

Damn, she's really too sweet and gentle to be here surrounded by demons. Franklin had better take good care of her or else I'll claim her myself and treat her like a queen!
Xavier thought, cursing himself, for scaring the beautiful and very innocent woman.

Looking Jinny right in the eyes, Xavier gentles his features, and is determined to make it up to her. "Only a hug, my beauty, that's all I ask."

He smiles richly and opens his arms. He comically wiggles his eyebrows up and down. It's so adorable, that I relax immediately and laugh. I walk right into his open arms, and wrap my arms around his thick muscular neck. I can't help but laugh with passionate cadence.

It's pure music to Xavier's ears. The sound goes straight to his cold soul now warming up thanks to sweet Jinny. Xavier gently dips her backward, and places a kiss upon her check. He whispers, "I think I'm in love," as he gently stands her back up again.

He's surprised by the unexpected kiss she places upon his forehead while she places her silky soft hands on each side of his face in a sweet caress. The look on Jinny's face is one of genuine pleasure. And that of a new found beautiful friend.

Damn, this sweet thing really doesn't realize the awesome effect she has on a man, and on his very soul. That only makes her just that much more precious. Lord, how I wish you were mine sweetheart.

Xavier then does the same with Madi as he tips her backward too. "
Muahaha
ha" he emits an evil laugh. He gazes at Madi with evil intent, brushing his lips lightly against hers, before standing her upright again. They both laugh huskily together.

"Go right on in, you gorgeous creatures, leave me here and break my heart. At least make sure you both save me a dance later." Xavier chuckles as he bows deeply, sweeping his arm out after he opens the entrance door for them.

"I am indeed your humble and eternal servant, should you ever need me.... for.... anything." He declares in a low, sexy and gravelly voice as both ladies laugh and walk right past him, each one brushing her hand gently along his cheek as she passes. Jinny lingers for a moment as the sweet man has endeared himself to her.

After entering the club, Madi and I stop for a moment to allow our eyes to adjust to the low red lighting.

When they finally do, we walk side by side, down the short hallway painted blood red and enter the main part of the club.

The music sounds tribal and almost demonic, it's bass is very loud and vibrates the very floor I stand on.

I feel this strange deep vibration as it takes hold of my body. It feels as if it's turning my very soul inside out and is accompanied by a fierce tugging sensation pulling me toward something or someone.

On one hand, it's confusing as hell and on the other, it feels so completely right. I force myself to remain still, as I try to figure it out. I look around at the dark and dangerous ambiance of the club while chills race up and down my naked spine.

At first glance, the club looks like a gigantic smoky chamber, filled with a suffocating, sweet smelling stench. It's draped in eternal darkness, with only the red barely lit lamps on the round tables throughout.

The interior walls look like living breathing things. The devilish flames undulate back and forth, appearing to devour every inch of the walls in total chaos. There is a strange mesmerizing beauty to it.

One wall displays such realistic and terrifying images of what could only be demons torturing humans. The demons are obscenely grotesque as they hang people by their tongues over a boiling inferno of Hellfire. The demons look so incredibly realistic as they rise out of the magnificent and terrifying beast of undulating flames and eternal drifting black mist.

Suddenly out of the blue, I feel a magnetic pull deep in my core. It's pulling me toward the east wall for some unknown reason and I can't fight it no matter how hard I try. I walk over to the east wall as if in a trance.

Standing in front of it, staring into the flames, I feel myself unable to move, I'm rooted to the spot. The sensation of falling into a deep abyss overwhelms me. I narrowly focus my eyes on the undulating flames and the more I do, the more everything around me just falls away.

These particular undulating flames are vastly different from the others. It's hard to explain exactly how they're different. I know deep in my heart that these particular flames are the flickering eyes of Hell itself. They're holding me completely spellbound, refusing to release their demonic, hate filled hold on me.

That's when I hear a strange chilling and yet evocative voice reverberate in my head.

"So, you've been reborn once again my beautiful vixen. I'm now very anxious to see you again....one day....very soon. We have a great deal of unfinished business to tend to, you and I. You'll not escape me this time sweetheart. I promise you that."

"Jinny. Jinny! Are you ok? You're staring off into space again. Come on, let's get our drinks and find a place to sit!" Madi yells at me to make herself known over the noise, She pulls me out of the strange spell I'm in. My body begins shaking badly, as true terror overwhelms me and leaves my very soul cold as ice. Even my teeth are chattering as if I'm standing buck naked in the middle of Antarctica.

I don't know what to think or do at this moment, I just want to run home and hide. I just this chilling voice out of my head! I know it belongs to someone much more sinister than I'll ever be prepared to deal with! My extra senses are telling me that whoever it is, he's coming for me and won't stop until he gets me in his clutches.

Madi wraps her arm around me and steers us both to the blood red bar. Its surface is so shiny that I swear it's really wet blood. I'm too afraid already to touch it and find out for myself.

The bartenders are all beautiful and mesmerizing to the point where my extra senses or gifts, as my mother called them, are screaming at me to see past the glamour, to see the truth.

I close my eyes and focus on seeing through whatever glamour there maybe, praying I'm wrong for once. When I open my eyes again, I gasp loudly. Madi looks at me with confusion and worry in her eyes. All the color drains away from my face.

The bartenders, servers, and bouncers are the same as the grotesque demons straight from the biblical Hell depicted on the wall!

That can't be, there is no such thing as demons, not in real life!
My mind screams in denial of what my eyes are seeing. I feel myself shaking so badly that I just want the vision to end as one bartender reaches out for me, worry on his face, and all I can do is jerk backward so forcefully, I fall on my rear end.

Sitting very un-lady like, I quickly close my eyes, forcing my extra sensory vision to recede and allow my normal vision to return for my own sanity.

When I open my eyes again, I see out of the corner of my eye, one of the bouncers heads for me then stops a few feet away. His head turns toward the dance floor and stares. Then, he stiffens right up and walks away as I get up on my own.

Well, that explains why they all look at us as if they want to devour us whole, as if, we're their next meal!
I think fearfully, unable to really make sense of what I've just seen.

In one split second, my whole world and belief system has been thrown into utter and complete chaos.

I need the strongest damn drink they have and make that a double shot, just to calm my nerves!
I try to make light of the overwhelming sense of danger that's pervading the atmosphere around me.

Chapter 5

"THERE'S NO WAY the club has been breached by
him,
Franklin. Jinny was just mesmerized by the flames. Some humans are just more susceptible to them, you know that."

"I'm telling you, this was different Damien! I heard his voice murmuring in her head. He even blocked me from hearing exactly what he said. I'm going to her right now! She needs my protection."

"Dammit Franklin! Just hold on a minute. Give the girl a few minutes to adjust to the atmosphere first. If she doesn't calm down and is still freaked out then, by all means, go to her." It's taking all the strength Damien possesses to keep Franklin from rushing to her side. He'll only scare the living hell out of her.

"Excuse me sir. The workers at the bar are telling me that we have a problem."

"What's that, Abdiel?"

"Sir, Franklin's girl, well, she.... she can see us in our true demonic forms beneath the human glamour."

"I see. Just Leave her be. She's Franklin's mate so, it's perfectly alright." Damien calmly tells Abdiel and then dismisses him.

Franklin turns white as a ghost, his legs give out under him and he lands heavily in his chair, almost overturning it.

"There's no way. Only angels can see us in our true demonic forms. I wonder...." Franklin whispers before he falls silent again. His eyes search and find the woman he's loved for centuries.

Damien and Franklin sit in the VIP section on the second floor. It's off limits to everyone but them tonight. They are hidden just above the dance floor. Undulating flames encased in eternal darkness and smoke hide it extremely well from the human eye.

The purpose of it is to allow patrons in the VIP section to celebrate in peace and see the patrons in the whole club without being seen themselves.

At this exact moment, Damien and Franklin are watching the girls as closely as predators watching their prey before the attack.

Madi orders a plain soda and I ask the bartender to make me the strongest alcoholic drink there is and double it.

He stands there just staring at me for a second. Cocking his head to the side, he stares intensely at me for a moment. I know he's noted how terrified and shaken up I am. "You got it babe." He replies in a seductive tone.

Bael knows just what she needs. He mixes the beautiful woman, he now knows is Franklin's mate, a sweet alcoholic drink with a large dose of liquid hellfire to help calm her down.

Bael can see the innocence in her terrified eyes and was surprised that he didn't want her to be afraid while she's in the club. There is just something about her that brings out the protective instinct in him.

Madi is chatting away to the male patron to her left, flirting as usual with him. I keep my eyes downcast, afraid to see the demons as they really are. I stand here, unable to stop shaking while that cold chilling voice keeps repeating in my head over and over again.

When my drink is placed in front of me, I down it all quickly. My throat is burning and I can't help the cough that escapes. I quickly place the money on the counter and ask for another.

I almost giggle as I see the bartender doing his upmost best not to stare at me in complete shock. It turns into a brilliant and kind smile.

"It's on the house honey." He says sweetly with a wickedly sexy smile. I can't help but smile right back at him not afraid of seeing his demon side for the first time. I can sense that demon or not, he has a gentle soul.

"Thank you so very much, you're very sweet and kind." I leave him a five dollar tip for his generosity and slide Madi's drink in front of her in a silent effort to shut her up so we can go and find a table.

I feel drawn toward the dance floor and notice it's strangely covered in a swirling red mist that appears to be curing around the dancer's legs as if caressing them as it rises from the floor. The dancers sway to and fro, as if they're possessed by demons.

I get another chill running down my back as I remember the sign just inside the entrance that said, "Welcome to the club where you can dance with the demons." I thought it was just a cute slogan and now I'm not so sure anymore.

Much to my surprise there are only male servers are all wearing snug black leather pants with black cowboy boots. Their well defined muscular chests are naked except for the blood red vests they wear over them.

The only light around the dance floor is a red strobe light that alternates between flashing on and off on the dance floor and staying solid as it circles the club's interior much the same as a search light would at a prison.

Once again, I have this bad feeling especially now that the workers here are not human. The dark atmosphere almost gives the feeling of immense freedom, the kind of freedom where everything goes and nothing is mentioned outside of this club. Not exactly my kind of atmosphere.

I'm drawn out of my wandering thoughts once again by another sexy deep gravelly voice. "My beautiful ladies, if you'll follow me, a table has been reserved for you both near the dance floor. The sexy server says, bowing deeply before Madi and I.

"What's your name?" Madi blurts out while I simultaneously ask, "Who reserved us a table?" The only answer from the cute server is a seductive smile full of secrets and wicked intent. A deep sexy chuckle bursts from his lips, it sends pleasurable shivers up and down my naked spine.

"Inquisitive bunch aren't ya? Ok. First, my name is Abdiel, my lady and I will be your server this evening. Secondly, your secret admirers who wish to remain anonymous for now, reserved the table for you. That's all I'm allowed to say without a direct order from the boss.
Now
, please follow me." Abdiel gives us another wickedly sexy demonic smile as his eyes challenge and dare us to defy him.

Oh shit, not again...
I think as Madi's back instantly stiffens at the challenge.

"We're waiting.... servant." Madi responds in her haughtiest queenly voice, her eyes are filled with mischievousness.

Abdiel bows deeply once again, a wicked grin lights up his handsome face. He can see what has Prince Damian so hot over this young mortal. She is a true spitfire and is definitely a handful.

The coming days are going to be quite entertaining, as I watch how this all plays out between Damien and Madi. Jinny, on the other hand, is quite beautiful, alluring, and so very innocent. I can smell it all over her. She's a true treat for any demon to have. I desperately want just one little taste of her sweet innocent essence, I know it will be like tasting heaven.
Abdiel thinks to himself.
