Chasing Emily [Duoterra 2] (Siren Publishing Ménage and More) (12 page)

Robin turned to those nearest him and growled. He didn’t need to say anything. That was enough to start a stampede, although everyone leaving the building rushed to the windows shoving at each other to see what was happening inside the room.

Emily jumped off the lap of the man she was sitting on and made to run out of the room with the others, but Robin blocked her path. “Oh no, you don’t!
You
stay here.”

She snarled at him and thrust her hands on her hips. “You can’t keep me where I don’t want to be.”

Finn shouted to her as he herded the last of the people out, “Try us!” Robin grinned as the man whose lap Emily had been on made a swift exit before Finn could kick his backside on the way out.

Taking advantage of Robin glancing over to Finn, Emily tried darting around him, but he lunged for her and grabbed her around the waist from behind, trying to avoid her flailing arms and legs. He grunted when one of her legs kicked his shin.

“Who do you think you are? You’re nothing, both of you. I’ll leave as soon as I get a chance, and this time you won’t find me.” Her voice was getting higher pitched as she started to scream insults at them.

Finn had finished locking the door, and then he moved to close the shutters on the windows, much to the groans of disappointment that could be heard from outside and the banging on the door and window.

“Can you do that faster? I can’t hold her much longer. Ow.” One of her fists connected with Robin’s face.

Looking over at them, Finn suggested, “I think our new wife needs to learn the lesson that
we
are in charge.”

Struggling to contain her, despite his superior size, Robin queried sarcastically, “Oh yes? And how the hell are we going to do that?”

Finn sauntered over to them, having finished closing out all the curious townsfolk and ignoring the hammering on the door. He stood in front of them, hands on his hips eyeing the woman thrashing around and the harassed man trying to hold her. “Well now. I think I know just the thing.”

He grinned, and Robin frowned wondering what Finn was about to suggest. It was an evil grin.

“I think our wife deserves a good spanking.”

That even stunned Emily, and she stopped struggling so suddenly Robin staggered back a step, nearly dropping her as he did.

“You have to be kidding.
Spank
Emily?”

Finally pulling free of Robin as he took in Finn’s astonishing suggestion, Emily held her arms up to hold both men off. “Either one of you lays a hand on me and I will emasculate him!”

Emily was looking at Robin as she said this so she didn’t see Finn silently indicate to Robin to grab her arms again. When she turned her head to Finn, Robin did as he was bade and took hold of her again.

“No, don’t you dare,” she squealed resisting even more fiercely this time now that she knew what was in store for her.

As she fought ferociously to get free, Finn cleared a space around a table. Robin wondered for a second if it was the same table that he had caught them having sex on earlier. But it didn’t matter anymore. She was his wife, even if he had to share her with Finn, and after their little talk, he was somehow more at peace with the idea.

“Right, bring her over here. Place her facedown, but hold onto her, or she’ll get free.”

“Christ, Finn. It’s not so easy.” He was panting heavily with the exertion of being her jailer but did as requested, and soon they had her positioned over the table, Finn holding her buttocks tightly to keep her still while avoiding her kicking legs and Robin holding her arms stretched out in front of her.

“You are both dead men. I swear it.”

Robin was beginning to get concerned. Was she really that angry? Despite knowing her for years, he knew she was complex. “Finn, we can’t do this. What about the baby?”

“We’re not going to abuse her. Just show her who is in charge. The baby will be fine.”

As he said this, Finn moved back a pace, and raising her skirt, he laid the first of the spankings he had promised on her.

“Owwwwww.”

Robin was shocked. It seemed awfully hard, and Emily was screaming loudly. As Finn continued to slap her, he queried in worry, “Is she all right?”

“No, I’m not. You fucking bastards.” Emily nearly got an arm free, and Robin had to be careful not to let his grip loosen again.

Finn chuckled. “Oh, she is just peachy. And for that insult she gets some more.” He laid four more hits on her backside. All the time she was kicking out with her legs trying to get free. Finn had to be careful to avoid getting hit himself. “Stop it, Emily, or we’ll continue this in front of everyone outside.”

With that threat, she did stop, and Robin nearly breathed a sigh of relief.

She raised her head, and he could see her expression. He wasn’t quite sure what to make of it. He could have sworn she looked like she was amused by them. But that didn’t tally with her insults. “You do that, and I’ll stick a hot poker up you one dark and stormy night.”

Laughing at her comment, Finn bent forward to rub her back. “Oh, my love. We are going to have such a fun marriage.”

Robin looked at them in amazement, and a small part of him started to unwind. She didn’t seem like an abused woman. In fact, apart from struggling to get free, her body seemed quite relaxed.
God, I’ll never understand women.

“Come on, buddy. Your turn now.”

That was enough to get him tense again. “Oh, God, I don’t know if I can.”

“Robin, man, we have to show her she can’t carry on like that. Did you like it when she draped herself all over that whippersnapper?”

He frowned. “No, I didn’t.”

Waving a hand over Emily’s buttocks, Finn indicated, “Well then.”

It wasn’t that simple for them to change places. As soon as Finn moved away from the bottom of the table to take Robin’s place holding her arms, Emily took advantage of the moment and nearly rolled off the table.

Thankfully Finn was quick-witted and had clearly been expecting her to do something like that, and despite his small physique, he hauled her back on the table with an admonishment. “Naughty girl.”

Eventually they swapped around, but faced with the prospect of hitting an outraged woman, one who was carrying his, or Finn’s, child, Robin faltered.

“You can do it, Robs,” encouraged Finn.

Emily wrenched her head around to hold his gaze. “You do this, Robin, and I’ll cut off your dick and feed it to you.” She grinned, clearly thinking her threat would be enough.

That was it. His patience snapped. She had finally reached the end of his tether. “Goddammit, Emily.” He kept his eyes on hers as he gave her a spank. Admittedly it was a weak one.

She laughed gruffly. “Is that the best you can do? What sort of man do you call yourself?”

Being stunned momentarily, he then chuckled. “Oh, Em. You shouldn’t have said that.” He then laid into her with several more hits, each one getting a little harder.

He had one hand on her back, and after a while he could feel her pushing back, awaiting each hit. She was breathing hard, but evenly. Then he became aware that she wasn’t saying anything, and he stopped, fear swamping him.

“Emily? Emily! Christ, Finn what have we done?” He looked over at the other man, anxiety making him sick to the stomach.

“Look at me, gorgeous.” Finn released her arms and knelt down by her head and cupped her face, raising it so he could look into her eyes.

Robin caressed her hot buttocks soothingly, running his hands up her back to calm her while Finn stroking her hair tenderly.

“Is she all right?” Robin asked, now very worried.

Suddenly Finn chortled. “Oh, yes. I’d say our lovely wife just had the time of her life.”

“How can you tell?”

“The simple fact that she just winked at me. Methinks our wife was protesting too much, and in fact she was provoking us just to do what we just did!”

Robin breathed out a huge sigh of relief, but he was still concerned. “But should we have done that? I mean, when she is pregnant and all.”

Emily laughed then, and pushed back to rest on her forearms so she could turn her head to look at her young husband. She smiled at Robin until he began to relax. “Well, I had hoped to play one of you off the other, but that clearly didn’t work.”

He looked at Finn anxiously and saw a returning frown. He swallowed nervously. What on Duo had they got themselves into with this woman?

As she eased herself to her feet, he saw her wince. Getting heartily spanked at forty-five would be hard going on her body. Was she really okay with this?

“Okay, husbands of mine. You want to be married to me, well, you’d better show me you are both man—men—enough for the job. Take me away from all those gawping people wanting to come into the bar and make love to me.”

They were both stunned into stillness, and then Robin burst out whooping and pulled Emily into his arms, swinging her around. Finn looked at them a little uncertain.

She held out an arm to him. “You, too, lover. I can see it’s going to take two of you to satisfy me.”

A burst of harsh laughter left Finn. “Dear God, woman, you are going to be the death of me—of us. Lead on, Macduff.” He gestured to Robin to lead the way upstairs. “Actually, who the hell was Macduff?”

At the top of the stairs, Emily marched toward her bedroom and then turned when she found neither man was with her. They were hovering uncertainly on the landing.

“Come on then,” she encouraged.

Finn looked at Robin and then asked, “Which one of us?”

Emily frowned and placed her hands on her hips. “Well, both of you, of course.”

“What! I’m not having sex with you with
him
there,” Robin declared.

“Yes, I agree.” Finn was equally emphatic.

“God, I thought we’d gotten past this jealousy. If you want to keep me then you’d better work together. Each one of you by yourselves is not enough for me—as you’ve proved already. So get your act together or I’m out of here, marriage contract or no marriage contract.”

Leaving the two men standing stunned outside her room she opened the door and closed it with a bang, which wasn’t quite a slam, but enough to let them know she was annoyed.

Chapter Fifteen

Emily stalked into her bedroom, fuming with anger, and came to a full stop in the middle of the room.

As quickly as her temper rose, it fell. That was fairly normal for her, and she grinned to herself remembering the looks of stupefaction on the faces of the guys outside. She was resolute that she would be the one to control this relationship. Women had such few rights on this planet that she was determined to use all her womanly wiles to get her own way. They might have thought they had got the better of her with that episode, but what they didn’t appreciate was just how much she had enjoyed what they had done.

Reaching a hand back she rubbed her sore butt. Yes, she’d let the guys have their way once in a while, but she’d make it very clear if it was something she didn’t want in no uncertain terms. Men—and women—have been known to quake when she was in full “Do Not Cross Me” mood.

She giggled, thinking back to the spanking. She might have kicked and screamed, but it had been a lot of fun, actually.

That made her suddenly take stock as she pondered why she would like being dominated like that, losing the control she had worked so hard for all her life. What was suddenly so different about these two? She had hated her husband, but then he had shown her no love, no affection, no kindness. Both Finn and Robin had not only shown themselves to be excellent lovers, but they had chased her across the planet. Surely this meant that they loved her, cared for her?

And now, having shown their superior strength, did they go off and leave her bruised, angry, and upset like Vince had done? No, they were tender and gentle. Either one was exactly the sort of man she had dreamed of when she had married Vince all those years ago. But now—who knows? Were both of them together sufficient for her? She chuckled. The question was more whether they could both work together. Now
that
was going to be fun to watch, and she wasn’t going to make it easy for them.

Wondering how long it would be before they realized that she wasn’t going to give in and open her door, her patience soon paid off, and moments later they came barreling through the doorway, Finn foremost, beckoning the other man after him.

Emily smiled. She suspected that was how it would be, Finn taking charge with Robin following, at least when they were working together, it might be. On the other hand, once Robin was persuaded to do something, he did it wholeheartedly and with gusto. She thought—or hoped—that Robin’s persistence and commitment to what he did would rub off on Finn and settle him down some. She did wonder how long Finn would stick around once—if—he got bored. Time would tell.

Although the men had made the move to enter her room, they now hovered, clearly uncertain as to what her reaction would be and what should happen next.

Turning away from them, she sat on the end of her bed and raised her hand to toy with her blouse. A wicked desire came over her, and she started to taunt them as she began to unbutton it. “Come on, lovers. There’s plenty of me to go around. Don’t tell me you two are scaredy wolf-cats? Or does it take two of you to take me down?”
