Chasing Emily [Duoterra 2] (Siren Publishing Ménage and More) (15 page)

Emily stated out loud exactly what Robin was feeling. He just couldn’t voice his thoughts as the sensations he was experiencing were overwhelming him—two mouths kissing her front and back. Two sets of hands holding Emily, caressing her, touching her, enfolding her. Those same hands were touching each other in the process, working together as one. All the while Emily’s hands were touching him, her sweet breath washing over him as her panting got quicker and quicker. Noises of need, urgency, and agony all merged. It was like they were one person groaning their need, to which another responded instantly. It was blissful.

The feeling of serenity didn’t last long as exigency took over, a desperate need to reach their mutual climax which hovered tantalizingly, saying “work harder, work as one, and I’m yours.”

Finn countered by thrusting harder and harder, grinding Emily against Robin as he pushed forward. Finesse went out of the window. Hands clutched convulsively, nails pierced skin, cries got harsh, bodies got hotter as the end finally arrived. Robin held onto Emily’s shoulders tightly as he orgasmed, his cum exploding inside her, causing her to wail her completion with Finn coming immediately afterward.

Epilogue

It was several minutes before their mutual trembling abated. Emily looked at her guys as she came back down to Earth—or Duoterra as the youngsters were starting to say.

She certainly enjoyed sex with both, but did she love them? She had always cared for Robin, although she thought him too young for her in the past. He was only a few years older than her son, for Christ’s sake. One of the reasons she kept pushing him away lately was that he was getting too close. She was beginning to fall for him. He would always be her rock, her support, the one she could trust to protect her.

Turning back to Finn, she saw that he was grinning from ear to ear.
God, he is so cocky!
As for Finn, she still barely knew him, but suspected that he could coax his way into her heart quite easily as she had always had a soft spot for a charmer. He would be her passion, the one to provide the excitement she craved.

But could she give up the independence that had caused her to refuse Robin when he was getting under her skin and then flee from Finn when it seemed she had to become his wife?

Yes, she decided. Between them they had the strength she needed in a partnership, not necessarily to keep her out of trouble, but to provide the foundation, her bedrock. At the same time they had the compassion that was lacking in her former marriage. She could trust them to care for her. Of course, they’d probably insist she had no more men. Well, they’d have to prove themselves men enough in that department, and she might comply, would probably conform. She was sure she could get around them so she didn’t lose too much freedom.

Either way, life was certainly going to be fun.

Finally, looking around her at the cushions scattered on the floor and aware that her knees were hurting from the bare wood of the chaise, she got enough breath back to ask, “So, husbands of mine, are we ever going to make love in my
bed
?”

ABOUT THE AUTHOR

Jennifer is English and lives in a lovely historical city in the UK. Other than writing, her interests include reading (naturally! She always has at least one book on the go, if not one by her bed, one by the bath, and one in the lounge), all things historical, including genealogy, which she has done for many, many years, watching films (particularly sci-fi), gardening, jigsaw puzzles, and walking. She lives with her pet rabbit, who is thoroughly spoilt. Jennifer says she wants to come back as her own rabbit in the next life—unfortunately that would mean she still needs to be alive herself. Maybe there is a time-travel story there…

She writes for several publishing houses. This is her eighth book for Siren, the second in the Duoterra series. Find out more about all her books on her blog/website.
