Chief's Angel (Biker Rockstar Series Book Three) (18 page)

“Put it on.”

I slide the ring on my right hand, and it fits perfectly on my middle finger. I beam and look up at Caden, who is smiling down at me.

“I didn’t know you had it in you to be so sweet.”

He grins and grips me, pulling me down onto the bed, “There are a lot of things you don’t know about me. I’m not all bad.”

I shake my head at him. “I never thought you were.”

He pulls me against his chest, and I breathe in his scent. I revel in the feeling of him being pressed against me and the way our bodies fit so perfectly.

“Caden?”

“Hmmmm?”

“Make love to me.”

He stills, the fingers that were sliding up and down my back suddenly stop.

“Make love?”

“Yes, make love.”

“I don’t…I haven’t…”

“It is no different; it’s just…soft and slow.”

He takes a moment but, eventually, his fingers start to move again. “
If soft and slow is what you want Angel, I’ll give you soft and slow.”

He rolls over, and I watch as he slowly removes his clothes. When is naked above me, I snake my tongue out and slide it across my bottom lip. He slowly removes my clothes, taking time with each and every piece. When I am naked, his mouth comes down onto my skin; his tongue moving in small, delicate circles until he reaches my nipples. He takes one in his mouth, and begins a slow and gentle suckle.

I let my head sink back into the pillow, and little whimpers escape my mouth as he slowly, and agonizingly, gives his full attention to my nipples; pulling them into his mouth and sucking them until they are budding and throbbing. He kisses my stomach, my navel, my legs and toes. Then he slowly slides back up until he finds my sex. His tongue slides through softly, gently. There is no rush, he is nothing but gentle as the slow burning fire within me builds and builds until the flames engulf me and I explode with the most intensive orgasm I have ever had.

When he moves over me, I take his head into my hands and I pass my fingers through his hair. He kisses the side of my face, moving down over my cheeks and then he finds my lips. His kiss is soft, sweet and deep. His tongue dances with mine, his lips work me over until I am begging for him. He leans back and takes hold of his jacket, pulling out a condom. I watch as he rolls it over his length, and then he positions himself over me once more.

No words are spoken between us, there are none to say. Everything we feel in this moment is being shown in our actions. Little moans and whimpers, feather like strokes and touches. When he slides inside me, I groan and wrap my legs around his waist. His pace is slow, and gentle. He doesn’t rock hard enough to cause either of us to pant; instead our bodies glisten with sweat from the constant friction.

“Oh Caden, oh
God,”

“Fuck Angel, I need you. I need you so bad.”

His words seize me, and I grip him harder. His hips rock so slowly, causing just enough friction on that sensitive bundle of nerves to send me over the edge. I come around him, whispering his name. My world goes dark a moment, and I am taken to a different place. He keeps thrusting, his head is buried in my shoulder and every now and then he places soft kisses against my neck. My nails slide down his back, gripping the firm muscles there.

I hear Caden’s ragged growls, and his whispered pleas. He jerks his hips faster, and then I feel his body tense as he finds his own release. He nips at my shoulder, and I whimper his name once more. When our bodies slow down, he lifts his head and looks down at me.

“What are you doin’ to me?” he croaks.

“I could say the same.”

He puts his head on my chest, and I run my fingers through his hair. We lay there in silence; completely caught up in the wonderful moment we just shared.

“Caden?”

“Hmmmm?”

“Have you been close to loving anyone before me?”

He lifts his head and stares at me. “Never.”

“Not even with Dani?”

He closes his eyes and shakes his head. “No. I cared about her but never that deeply.”

“So… why me?”

He gives me that gorgeous half smile, “Angel, you ask me this all the time. Why not you?”

“It’s not that, it’s just…well you and I are so different. I thought bad boys didn’t fall in love.”

He laughs, “Haven’t you read the books? Of course they do.”

“Then the real question is; how do
you
know they do?”

He snorts, “There is always a girl who makes a bad boy see what he is missin’ out on. Everyone knows that.”

“You’re a closet bookworm aren’t you? Go on admit it.”

He raises his palm up in defense. “You caught me. I confess; I sneak into my closet each night and read romance books.”

I laugh, and he tickles my ribs, making me laugh harder.

“You are a fool girl.”

“Stop tickling me!” I squeal.

He tickles me harder until I am snorting and laughing.

“Ha, you snorted,” he roars with laughter, rolling off me.

I leap onto him, and pin his hands above his head.

“Shut up or I will make you snort.”

“Oh no, I am not a snorter, it takes a,” he makes air quotes, “’special person’ to be a snorter.”

“Oh hell no, you did not just call me special.”

He laughs as I lift my hips and slam them down, causing him to oomph loudly. A knock on my door distracts me.

“Yeah?” I call out.

Jaxson calls from the other side of the door. “Mands you have a visitor.”

“Oh Jax, tell them to go away; I’m busy with my hot guy!” Caden wiggles his eyebrows at me and I poke my tongue back at him.

“Ummm… It’s your Mom.”

Well that’s one way to kill a mood. I look down at Caden, and he gives me an
uh oh
look.

“Don’t give me that look or I’ll send her in here for you to deal with.”

He snorts, “Bring it.”

I get off him and quickly get dressed. Glancing in the mirror I notice that I have total ‘sex hair’; not a good look! Grabbing a hair tie from my dresser, I pull my hair back in to a loose ponytail; much better. I give Caden another grin and he leans forward to smack
me on the ass before I rush out of the room. My Mother is standing in the kitchen, looking uncomfortable. She stares at me as I walk out, and I give her a weak smile.

“Mother.”

“I am sorry to, err, interrupt.”

I blush and I realize she must know what I was doing with Caden. “It’s fine.”

“Can we have a word?”

I nod, and we walk out onto the balcony. She stares out at the city lights a long moment, before turning to me.

“I wanted to say…” Her voice is jittery and I can tell she is nervous. “Well…Amanda I just wanted to say I’m sorry.”

I feel my eyes widen.

“I know I’ve taken my time about this but, the thing is you were right; I don’t have a happy life. I thought I was doing the right thing by you, but I realize I wasn’t. I have been so lost and unhappy without you in the past few weeks and I don’t want to live like that. It’s time to make a change in my life, and the first change was making things right with you.”

I stare at her a long moment, “You hurt me Mom.”

“I know and I deeply regret that.”

“Will you accept Caden?”

She stiffens a little, “I’ll do my best; I just want you to be happy.”

“What about Daddy?”

She sighs, “Your Father and I haven’t loved each other for a very, very long time. I have to let him move on with his life. I’m selling the house and I am going to travel a while; maybe move to a different town and just start again. I need to find my own happiness.”

I nod, looking out at the lights. “Life is short Mom and you deserve to be happy.”

“So you do, and while I am still not 100% comfortable with your relationship with Caden; if he is what you want, I will be polite.”

I twirl the ring on my middle finger and think about Caden; my smile grows wide. “He is what I want. I love him.”

She nods, “Very well. Can we move on from this?”

“Sure we can. I missed you Mom.”

Her eyes well up. “Missed you too sweetheart.”

She reaches out and pulls me in for a hug, and I melt into her. After we dry our eyes, I take her back inside. Just as we step through the door, Caden walks out of the room wearing only a pair of black jeans. They are slung so low on his hips that they show of the perfectly pronounced 'V' of his abs. My Mother makes a gasping sound beside me.

“Holy shit,” Jaxson says, peering over the back of the couch.

“Ummm Mom… this is Caden,” I say, giving him a dirty look.

He grins and ignores my glare; walking over to offer his hand to my Mother. She takes it and I see her cheeks flush. Oh yes, my Mother just flushed!

“Nice to meet you,” he says, taking her hand and wrapping his large one around it.

“Oh, yes, you too.”

“Do you want to stay for a drink?” I ask her.

“Oh, no it’s quite alright. I can see you’re… ummm… busy and I have to meet a friend.”

“Can we have lunch sometime?”

She smiles, “That would be lovely. I’ll call you in the week and we can arrange it.”

I hug her again. “I am glad we sorted this Mom.”

“Me too.”

She leaves and I sag with relief.

“That went well then?” Jaxson asks.

“She said she was sorry, and she needs to change her life,” I say, dropping down onto the couch.

“And is she going to accept the smokin’ biker over there?”

Caden snorts and pulls a beer out of my fridge. Crossing the room and settling himself beside me, his muscles flex and Jaxson’s eyes widen again. Jamie looks away, with a swell in his cheeks.

“She’s going to try.”

Jaxson claps his hands together. “Well, it’s happily ever after all round!”

I laugh, “Happily ever after is for saps.”

Gesturing towards the television, Caden drinks his beer, “Happily ever after is for people who watch The Notebook.”

Jaxson laughs, “It’s a good movie! You should try embracing your feminine side once in a while.”

Caden snorts, “Feminine side? I’d rather stab myself in the eye with a fork. No offence.”

“None taken,” Jaxson laughs.

“Well, I think we should call it a night,” I say standing.

Caden stands up beside me, wrapping a hard arm around my middle.

“Night all.”

When we get into the room, I close the door and lick my lips. Slowly stripping off my clothes, my eyes never leave his.

“Tryin’ to kill me girl?” Caden says, his gaze travelling over me.

I shrug my shoulders but offer him a sly grin. “I was thinking of taking a bath; want to join me?”

He grins and puts down the beer, “Fuck yeah I do.”

Watching him step out of his clothes, I let my gaze rake over his delicious body.

“Damn, I am one lucky girl.”

He raises a brow, “Did you just say that out loud?”

I flush, “What?
So…who cares?!”

He makes air quotes again, “Special.’”

I slap his shoulder and go to walk into the bathroom, I stop at the door.

“After you,” he smirks.

I roll my eyes; he is such a man. “Pervert.”

“Can’t help myself, your ass is perfect.”

“Well after that compliment,” I grin, walking in and slowly leaning over to put the plug in.

“Jesus, I could fuck you right there…”

“Hold on Mister; we have to have a bath first.”

He gives me a long, smoldering stare. “Who says?”

“Me.”

When the bath is frothing and filled with warm water, I slide in. Caden gets in behind me, and wraps his arms around my waist. I lean my head back against his shoulder and relax as the hot water laps over me.
God, this is just what I needed.

“So, it’s good you and your Ma have sorted things?”

“Mmmmmmm….”

“Are you listening Angel?”

“No,” I laugh, “I am having a moment of bliss.”

“Can I add to that?”

I moan when his hand slides down my stomach and stops between my legs. He slides his finger through my sex and I feel my body tense. I lean my head back further into his shoulder, and he tilts his head to lick and suck the beading moisture off my neck. His finger works my clit, slowly massaging it until I am moaning and arching against him. His erection presses hot and hard into my back.

“Fuck me Caden,” I rasp.

I feel him smile at my ear. “I thought it was makin’ love.”

God…”

He turns me over, and slides down a little lower so my legs rest
either side of his hips. Thank God I have a massive tub. He grips my hips and lowers me down onto his erection and I throw my head back and moan. His mouth slides over a hardened nipple and he groans with pure male satisfaction. I rock on his length, and he tightens his grip on me.
