Jonathan snapped into character.

“Like that?” Clayton said. He snuggled Owen tight to his chest. “Felt good. Felt perfect.”

“It did.” Owen kissed Clayton’s knuckles. “I’m glad we ran into each other so many times in the park and decided to give this a try. You really do like that park, don’t you?”

“Kind of.” Clayton paused. “Owen, do you like me?”

“I allowed you up my ass and into my life. I’d better like you.”

“I’m not like other guys,” Clayton confessed.

“What? Are you really a superhero who needs to run off to pull on his purple stretchy suit?” He chuckled. “I might like to see that. I’ve got a thing for guys in tight sparkly clothing.”

“I’ll keep that in mind.” Clayton kissed Owen’s temple. “I’m not a hero, though. Not really.”

“Then what’s the deal?”

“I’ve killed people.”

The confession reminded him of when they were out of character and Sean confessed to his drug using past. The tension played out well for the scene. Jonathan honed in on his shock and concern. “What are you, then? A cop?”

“No. I’m a mercenary. I’m hired to kill people and step in when others—like the police—can’t get the job done.”

Owen rolled away from Clayton enough to face him. His hands shook, and he paused to process what he’d been told. He’d slept with a murderer. “Get out.”

“But—”

Owen scrambled from the bed, pulling the sheet around his nude body. “I’m not sure what to think. Are you going to hurt me if we split up? Do you kill good people? Or just the bad guys—whoever they are?”

“I’m not a gun man or a hit man.”

“I’m not sure I can handle this.” Owen shoved himself into a corner with his back to the wall.

“Please? The people I’ve killed aren’t good people. I’m on a team who hunts fugitives. People who want to blow up the country or committed treason. It’s a quiet group, and I can’t get out.” Clayton hid his junk behind the pillow. “I need you to understand and be in my corner or I’ll go berserk.”

“Just go.”

“Owen.”

“I need time to think. This is a little too much for anyone to handle.”

Clayton crawled off the bed. He showed off his ass as he picked up his clothes. Before he walked out the door, he paused. “Find a place in your heart for me, and give me a chance. Please?”

“I’m not sure I can.”

Clayton nodded then strode out of the room.

“Cut,” Tony shouted. “God, I love having all these cameras filming at the same time. I miss so much less. Now…” He fluttered his hands. “I owe you and Sean some time alone. You’ve worked hard. If we need another take, we’ll do it tomorrow. We’ll be out in forty-five minutes.”

Jonathan met Sean’s gaze as Sean inched back into the bedroom. A grin pulled at the corners of his mouth. He disappeared into the second bedroom with Kade and Tony. After a moment, only Kade and Tony left. Jonathan stepped back into his boxer briefs. He’d been naked long enough. He stared at the door after the director and writer exited the apartment. What the heck did Sean have in mind?

“Are you lost in there? Or did the sheets eat you?” Jonathan called.

“I’m good. Give me a few more moments.”

“Sure.” Jonathan folded his arms. Intrigue and a tinge of fear worked their way into his brain.

“Close your eyes,” Sean said from his side of the door. “I’m not coming out until you do.”

“Fine.” He had to trust Sean. Jonathan drew in a long breath then let it out slowly. He closed his eyes. “Ready.”

The door snicked. He heard soft footsteps on the carpet. A hand touched his. Sean. “Just me, Jonathan. You’re safe.”

“I believe you.” He allowed Sean to walk him forward. His heart hammered and excitement ran through his veins. When they stopped, he collided with Sean. “Sorry.

“Don’t open your eyes yet.” Sean’s breath warmed Jonathan’s cheeks. “Now. Open.”

Jonathan did as told. He stood face to face with Sean. Warm yellow light bathed the room from the candles glowing on every horizontal surface. Shadows danced on the walls.

“Wow,” he gasped. “Where’d you get all those candles?”

“The set designers are awesome. They set this room up to be ours once we get the better apartment in the short film. I decided it was time to use the candles.” He kissed Jonathan, swiping his tongue along Jonathan’s lower lip. “Do you trust me?”

“Yes,” Jonathan replied without hesitation. “I’m in your hands.”

“Then come here.” Sean led Jonathan over to the king-sized bed. He sat down and pulled Jonathan onto his lap. “You’re so hot.” He draped his arms around Jonathan’s waist and kissed him. Each nip and lick sent shockwaves through Jonathan’s system. When Sean palmed his pec, Jonathan groaned into the kiss. His skin prickled.

Sean leaned backwards and hauled Jonathan against him. He peppered Jonathan’s face with hot kisses and the occasional love bite. The switch between pleasure and pain intrigued Jonathan. He’d led such a vanilla life. Sean rolled over, pinning Jonathan beneath him. The weight of Sean’s body pushed down on him and the spicy of scent of Sean’s cologne wrapped around Jonathan’s brain. His cock was already hard, but the blood coursed through his body, warming him.

“I need to prep you.” Sean winked and stood over Jonathan. “Don’t want this to hurt.” He tugged Jonathan’s boxer briefs down his hips then knelt at Jonathan’s feet. “You’ve got the sexiest dick.” He traced his tongue along the vein on the underside of Jonathan’s cock. He wrapped his fingers around Jonathan’s prick and stroked while he nibbled on the blunt head. He continued stroking then made his way down to Jonathan’s balls. He slid one finger between Jonathan’s ass cheeks and tapped at his hole.

Jonathan gasped and stared the ceiling. His chest ached from holding his breath. He couldn’t focus, and yet, everything centered on what Sean was doing between his legs. Sweat slipped down Jonathan’s temple. Fever swept through his body. He tingled, and a shiver ran the length of his spine. Holy shit.

“Turn over.” Sean nipped Jonathan’s inner thigh. “It’ll make this easier.”

When Jonathan did as Sean suggested, Sean smacked Jonathan’s ass. “God, you’ve got a nice ass.”

“It’s all yours.” Jonathan propped himself up on his knees and hands. He’d never been so bold with anyone. He rather liked the freedom. He glanced back at Sean, who nodded.

“Just don’t forget to breathe,” Sean warned. He dribbled something cool between Jonathan’s ass cheeks.

The lube. Jonathan’s hands shook as he gripped the sheets. The bottle cap snapped and another dribble of lube ran the length of his crack.

Sean rested one hand on Jonathan’s lower back. “Breathe.” He nipped Jonathan’s ass cheek then tapped his index finger on the tight pucker of Jonathan’s asshole. As he breached the ring of muscle, Jonathan gasped. Even with just a little bit of Sean’s finger in him, he felt so full.

“Breathe out for me. I’ve got you. Bear down.” Sean slowly eased his digit a little farther into Jonathan. “Breathe.”

Yeah, he’d forgotten that. Jonathan gritted his teeth. There was pain, but the pleasure far outweighed the discomfort.

“So sexy,” Sean murmured. He worked his finger in and out of Jonathan’s hole. “So tight and ready for me. You are so hot.” He added another finger and twisted. The move opened Jonathan up more, allowing him to take Sean’s cock. “Feels good, doesn’t it?”

“Yeah.” He’d had his ass toyed with, but never breached. He shifted his hips, allowing more of Sean into his body. From his head to his toes, he tingled.

“You take me so well.” Sean spread his fingers apart, opening Jonathan even more. He added another dribble of lube and kissed Jonathan’s butt cheek and lower back. With each thrust of his fingers, he pushed Jonathan closer to the edge of orgasm.

“Holy shit.” Jonathan shuddered. He hadn’t planned to come, but Sean knew how to touch him just right. He rocked forward and cum jetted onto the blankets. His nerve endings misfired. He closed his eyes and puffed out a long breath. His limbs refused to cooperate. He couldn’t have moved if he’d have tried.

“You’re nice and loose for me.” Sean removed his fingers. “Are you ready for me?”

“Yeah.” Jonathan glanced back at him again. “Please?” He couldn’t see what Sean was doing, but he heard the ripping then the telltale snap of latex on skin.

“I’ll go slow.” Behind Jonathan, Sean grunted. “Breathe out. This will hurt a little.” He tapped Jonathan’s asshole with the head of his dick. “I’m right here with you.”

Jonathan gripped the sheets even tighter. He tried to relax, but his brain refused to cooperate. Too much excitement rattled around. He breathed out, like Sean said and cleared his mind. Little by little, he allowed Sean’s cock into his hole. If he’d felt full before, that had been nothing compared to having the entire length of Sean’s prick in his ass. Sean sank balls deep into him. His pubic hair tickled Jonathan’s butt.

Jonathan appreciated Sean’s hesitation. The pause gave him time to adjust to the dick up his ass.

“God, you’re tight. Like heaven.” Sean smacked Jonathan’s butt. “Love it.”

Even if he’d wanted to answer, Jonathan couldn’t have. Rational sentences refused to form in his mind. He grunted and gasped for air. Heat sizzled in his veins. Sweat beaded on his arms.

Sean leaned over him and kissed his shoulder. “I love you.”

“Love. You. Too,” Jonathan bit out. He needed Sean to move. He ground his hips into Sean’s groin. He’d just come but was right on a hair-trigger again.

Sean gripped Jonathan’s waist and rolled his hips, slowly moving in and out of Jonathan. The pain subsided, leaving Jonathan with bliss. Each time Sean filled Jonathan to the hilt, he touched Jonathan’s prostate. Jonathan shivered. His legs trembled. Holy shit. He’d been thinking that phrase and saying it so much, but being with Sean blew his mind.

Sean increased his thrusts, and he murmured again. “You’re doing so well. So hot. Love this. Love you.”

“Sean,” Jonathan bit out. He met Sean thrust for thrust. Dear God, he needed to come.

“Damn, you’re squeezing me from within.” Sean slapped Jonathan’s butt. His thrusts turned feral. “Jonathan.”

Although he’d wanted to answer, he couldn’t. He dug his fingers into the bedding and tensed. He came again, shooting another load onto the bed. He bucked against Sean until his legs throbbed. His restraint had left a long time ago, replaced by sheer delight.

“Fuck yeah.” Sean buried himself, deep in Jonathan’s ass. He leaned forward and pressed his face between Jonathan’s shoulder blades. He shuddered and filled Jonathan’s hole with cum.

Neither spoke for a long time. Only the sound of their heavy breaths filled the air. Jonathan collapsed onto the bed and smiled to himself when Sean stretched out on top of him. Jonathan sighed. He’d had sex. No—he’d been fucked, thoroughly fucked. A virgin no longer. Yeah, his ass hurt, and he felt stretched to the max, but he loved the experience and wanted to do it all over again.

“Was it good?” Sean asked.

Jonathan relaxed his grasp on the bedding. “Yeah, it was.”

“Sorry it hurt, babe.” Sean nipped him again. “I couldn’t help it.”

“It was a good burn.”

Sean withdrew from Jonathan and stood beside the bed. He rolled the spent condom down his deflating erection then tossed the rubber into the trash. Jonathan eased off the sticky, wet spot on the sheets. He wanted to move more, but his legs weren’t working.

“Come here.” Sean helped Jonathan to his feet. He blew out the candles then escorted Jonathan to the bedroom they’d used for filming. “We can sleep in here for now. I don’t like laying in the wet spot, either.”

Jonathan collapsed on the bed then when Sean climbed in beside him, he snuggled his lover to his chest. Just being together pleased him.

“You were very good.” Sean laced their fingers together. “I know it didn’t sound like I got you—not at first. To be honest, I didn’t. You freaked me out. I thought, okay, this guy I like wants to fuck in order to play his part better. How fucking rude! Then it dawned on me. You weren’t going to use me. You wanted something special between us and wanted to make it even more special.”

“I did.”

“How do you feel?” Sean asked.

“Well…” He had to think for a moment. “My butt burns, but I’m good. I’m excited because I’ve hit a major milestone in my life with the man I love and I’m in new territory. I’m not a kid any longer.”

“No, you’re not.”

“I’m at peace. I’m here with you, and I’m safe. I’m loved. I couldn’t have planned this summer to go any better. You did what you promised, and I’m happy. You can be the tender and sensitive type, when you want. I’m glad you were.”

“You make me sound so much cooler than I am, but I like it.” Sean ground his ass into Jonathan’s semi-hard dick. “I love you.”

“Love you, too.” Jonathan sighed. “We need to sleep.”

“Goodnight, handsome.” Soon, Sean’s breathing evened out and he snored. Softly but he snored.

Jonathan closed his eyes. The events of the summer weren’t hardly over yet, and he couldn’t wait for the future. He’d been in a movie, in a short film, met more than one movie star and found of the man of his dreams. Not too bad for a couple months’ work. He sighed and settled. Life was better than good. It was fantastic.

Chapter Fourteen

Ten months later…

Sean sat beside Jonathan in the limo. In the last ten months, they’d learned to be partners. They weren’t just boyfriends or friends, but they’d become a team. Jonathan bolstered Sean and helped him on his continuing road to recovery as well as being his biggest cheerleader on his latest role as a father and addict. The role challenged Sean to portray being drunk without actually being off his game. On his end, Sean worked to encourage Jonathan and help him prepare for a handful of auditions and callbacks. He’d taken Jonathan out for that nice dinner and limo ride when he’d landed the role of an older brother on a television show.

He patted Jonathan’s thigh. Sean hated movie premiers mostly because he hated having to be nice to people he didn’t care for, such as costars who had pissed him off and other celebrities he didn’t get along with. Thankfully, he had Jonathan at his side. The movie seemed to be making decent money and getting fairly positive reviews. Good vibes were important. If the critics didn’t care for the movie, it wasn’t awful, but if the ticket sales were poor, the future of the series was in jeopardy. He kind of liked having the job and wanted to keep portraying Clayton.
