I made the mistake over a year ago. And there was really only one
way that could possibly help her, even if it killed me.

“I think you know what you have to do, Tristan,” Ethan said. He was
right again. I did know what I had to do.

It was what I had originally come here to do.

Writing
COUNTERPART has been a long and—not going to lie—exhausting journey. The
thoughts and ideas that went into this book took a big toll on my mind, from
the writing of it to the editing and so on.

I couldn’t
really have gone through this if it wasn’t for the people that have supported and
kicked my ass during the making of this.

First of all,
I’d like to thank the family members that have respected my writing, read my
writing and even exported their own ideas into the creation of this and other
novels, even when some of the ideas are weird.
