Agent Davis shook his head, then patted me on the back as a gesture of comradery. I pulled my shoulder away in irritation. I’m about to walk into the lion’s den and don’t know if I’ll be walking out again, or if anyone is even going to have my back.

Agent Davis
went into the kitchen and came back out with a cup of coffee. Grabbed the folder in front of me and stepped in front of the board.

Agent Davis
pointed at me, and Mia and said. “You two get suited up. I need Agent Quinn to be ready to go into the club house in exactly two hours. Mia, get her ready. And make sure she has extra protection this time, maybe a well-hidden knife somewhere so there isn’t a repeat of Savannah. Got it?” He gave Mia a thumbs up. Mia returned it and we went off to get me ready for the mission.

We climbed the stairs to our room. When I walked in, I noticed Mia had already laid my clothes out she wanted me to wear. I liked them much more than I had the
one’s I wore in Savannah.

I smiled when I picked up the jeans. There were no holes in the ass, like last time. There were
well-placed holes, but none were near the ass– thank god. The shirt was awesome, it was black, with a white faded skull. The back was cut up the middle going diagonally as if shredded. It showed my tattoos and a little bit of cleavage. I smiled at Mia.

“Thanks babe! These are much more my style.”

Mia
chuckled and pulled me in for a hug. She pushed me towards the bathroom with my clothes. I closed the door quickly and tried on the outfit. It fits perfectly– like it was made just for me. I smiled at myself as I stretched the shirt a little so my stomach wouldn’t show. I wasn’t trying to get into anyone’s bed this time. I laughed to myself as I thought about the situation I’m once again being put in. I quickly pulled off my gun holsters, black collared shirt, and khakis. I unfolded the jeans and stepped in one foot at a time. I checked my black lace Victoria’s secret bra, and pulled my shirt on. I did a quick turn in the full body mirror and smiled at my own reflection. I turned and looked over my shoulder and saw the rips in the back of the shirt casually showed my sexy back tattoos. I quickly opened the door and winked at Mia as I walked out. Mia circled me, and whistled as she got to my back.

I laughed and asked, “Are we going to put a wireless camera on me?”

Mia shrugged her shoulders then said, “I would feel more comfortable with both, but I have to see what they packed for me to work with.”

“Want to put a flower in my hair, and maybe a rockabilly twist for the camera? Don’t we have a wireless camera that has both the mic and camera?”

Mia was digging in her small black electronics bag and pulled out a small silver case. After Mia had opened the case, she nodded at me to sit, and said.

“Yes, that’s what I was looking for. I’m going to grab my makeup bag, and get you done up. We’ll add
a camera to your barrette.”

After being primped and pampered, I couldn’t wait to put my weapons back on. They were the balancing factor in everything. I quickly looked into the mirror and was shocked by the outcome. I reached up to my
eye, and noticed the swelling is barely noticeable, unless you knew where it was. Mia grabbed the barrette and shoved the camera through the center with a sharp pin, and handed it to me to add to my hair. I opened the clip and attached it to the barrel curl on the side of my head. It looked really cute. Satisfied with our work I walked back to the bed, and grabbed my lower back gun holster. After I attached it to my jeans, I turned to make sure it wasn’t obvious in the mirror. Mia reassured me and set my nerves at ease.

Just as I was about to walk out of the room I remembered I needed my ankle knife, cursing to myself I sat and unstrapped my
combat boot. I pulled the ankle cuff, and hunting knife out of my black bag, and strapped it to my right ankle. I stood up to make sure it was secured and wouldn’t bounce around on me.

After I
finished putting my boot back on, I did another quick turn in the mirror and saw nothing of relevance to keep me from meeting Galina at the restaurant to head to the clubhouse.

Chapter 18

*Gavin*

After I got off the phone with Becca, I couldn’t help but miss her. I decided a cold shower was my best bet, but it was very rudely interrupted by Blade knocking on the bathroom door.

“Hey Prez, we are loading the truck that
Papa rented. I got everything ready. We’re headed out for breakfast after we finish, wanna come?”

I had to control my temper as I answered him.

“Yeah, I’ll be out in a minute. Finishing getting shit ready and I’ll come out to have breakfast with y’all.”

My temper was at a boiling point. I couldn’t help but think about where Becca was, and if she
was safe. I had to keep reminding myself she is more than capable of taking care of herself. If the shit in Savannah hadn’t been a precursor of how she was I don’t know if I could ever feel comfortable with her doing her job.  I had to stop and say to myself before my emotions got the best of me.

She’s a big girl. She can take care of herself. This is the one and only time you will have to defend her.

The saddest part of this is she doesn’t even know I’m doing this, let alone it’s all for her.

How the fuck have I fallen this hard, and this deep over a chick?

I finished washing and chastising myself and got out, and ready for the very long day. I quickly dried off and got dressed. A clean white t-shirt and jeans, with my cut is my classic attire. I ran my fingers through my hair and headed next door to check out the guys. They were all ready to head out for breakfast.

“So where are y’all wanting to go for breakfast? I’m kind of craving some
wafflehouse, anyone feeling the same?”

They all agreed on
wafflehouse and we headed out.

We all piled into the van and headed out to the neares
t wafflehouse, to plan our day.

All of us
ordered, and sat in peace while we quietly contemplated our day. Today was going to make or break our MC and we all knew it, but no one wanted to admit it. The meal passed in relative silence. The heaviness in the air was so thick, and those four little words kept repeating in our heads–
will we get caught.

After such a quiet breakfast, I couldn’t wait to get this day over with. I know I’m supposed to be Mr. Badass, but I don’t like going to the joint, or asking others to go for me.

After a few years as a leader, I’ve learned to second guess everything I’ve said. And if I don’t question it, my Vice President is there to do it for me. We all made our way to the van, and back to the hotel. The ride wasn’t as awkward as breakfast was, but that still didn’t keep me from saying what needed to be said.

“Hey guys, I know I ask you guys to do a lot. And sometimes I ask you to do things that could get us sent away for the rest of our lives. But if we can’t stand up for someone who is part of
us, then we stand for absolutely nothing. I for one, will never stand for nothing. Now who’s fucking with me?!”

They all smirked at me and said, “Ay Ay Prez!”

A smile quickly spread across my face as I punched Blade in the shoulder. He laughed and playfully grabbed his shoulder. Before we knew it, we were already back to the hotel. We all walked into my room and took off our cuts, folded them and placed them neatly on the bed. Papa grabbed the keys to the truck and with silent nods we all headed back out and got into the truck loaded with the C4 packed into the kegs. Blade made it more deadly by putting ball bearings in the kegs with the C4. It’s more like we’re doing a public service by ridding the world of these pieces of shit. All of them have gone to prison for murder. Some for rape, drugs, solicitation of prostitution, and child sex trafficking. And let’s not forget they want to kill my Ol’ Lady.

We all
solemnly make our way to their club house to plant the devices. After their schedule magically appeared in a text message to me this morning, I was suddenly aware, someone from the inside wants them gone. This morning the only people that are supposed to be in their clubhouse is their tabbed members. Which are the pieces of shit we’re after. The scenery of the city flies by the tinted windows. Which gave me time to think.

When I was young, my uncle used to take me for a ride on his Harley every chance he got. Until he got in trouble with my mom for leaving me at a Sears when he got a distress call from another MC member. After that day, I wasn’t allowed to go on rides with him anymore. So I had to settle for riding in my mom’s beat up minivan. My stomach has always churned when I was riding in an enclosed vehicle. And I’m pretty sure the fact we’re about to kill about ten people isn’t helping either.

There are no second chances in this line of work. We fight, and fuck until our last breath. Which at this rate could be any minute. Years of grooming led me into
the position as Vice President. When my uncle died from a stray bullet not meant for him, I was already in place to take his Prez seat. Fortunately for me, my mother didn’t live long enough to see the leader I became. I’d love to think she would be proud of me for taking the MC into legit business deals, but the bodies have piled up, and that is something she wouldn’t have been proud of.

Every time
I think of my mother all I can think of is her final days. How she suffered from the cancer, and no matter what treatments they did helped. She had to painfully waste away before she no longer existed. The morning she died was bittersweet; she was finally able to peacefully rest.

Being lost in thought made the trip fly by. I jumped out at the corner deli and sent Blade and Papa in to deliver the bombs. All of the Roadsters knew who I am, and what I look like. Before I closed the door, I said.

Carry on Brothers, I’ll see you in a few. If anyone runs out of that door, I’ll shoot them. I’m going to be sitting at the table in the corner, watching the doors. If there are any problems, I’ll deal with it out here. If you have any problems, don’t hesitate to call me. I can be in there in about thirty seconds.”

Chapter 19

*Rebecca*

I was full of nothing but stress for my meeting with
Galina. I sat and waited until she walked in. All I could think about was Gavin, and what his role in this would be. All of the sudden Galina walked in and I stood quickly waiting for her to get to me. I wasn’t expecting someone who was about nineteen, and an Ole’ lady. But she had the look of one. She had tattoos running up her arms, and two large Celtic rose tattoos, one on each calf. Her hair was bleach blonde, and everything you’d expect to see on a biker chick from the 80’s. But she had a truly magnificent smile. The warmth of her smile reached all the way up into her gleaming blue eyes. She rushed at me, and embraced me hard. Kissed me on the cheek and introduced herself as she pulled away with a tiny giggle.

“Hi Honey, I’m Galina.”

I smiled, and sat down as I introduced myself.

“I’m Agent Quinn. I’m here to help you out of this situation. I’m ready to get this started whenever you are.”

She nodded her head yes and quickly said, “Thank you so much Agent Quinn. I had no idea who I could talk to about this. But you’re coming into the clubhouse to meet a tabbed member named, Gabe. He’s had a recent tragedy and really could stand to meet some new ladies. I told him I had an old friend from beauty school moving to the area, if he wanted to meet you. So you’ve already had your backstory setup to get into the clubhouse.”

I smiled and stood. She quickly followed and
led me to her car. I gave a quick salute to the tracking van parked at the corner across the street and got into her little Toyota Camry. We drove for a few minutes just rehashing the story. We quickly pulled into a large parking complex, parked and started acting very friendly as we made our way to a large black building.

The garage doors were opened in the loading bay, and a large white truck started to pull out as we
walked by. I stopped dead in my tracks, as I saw Blade in the passenger seat. We made eye contact as I mouthed the words–
OH FUCK!

I turned to
Galina and whispered into her ear. “You need to turn around and get the fuck out of here. Don’t look back, don’t try to warn anyone, just get the fuck out of here. You never met me, and have no clue what the fuck is going on– OK?” She shook her head frantically at me and ran to her car. I reached up into my hair and pulled my flower with the mic and camera in it out. I looked around and saw a large brown metal barrel filled with water. I rushed over to it and tossed it in.

The truck stopped at the edge of the parking
lot, Blade got out and started frantically waving at me to come to him.

I ran over to him and said, “What the fuck is going on? You know I have to go in there and deal with whatever you guys did? I can’t let anyone get killed– not AGAIN!”

Blade bit his lip and quickly said, “You can’t go in there, it’s going to blow in less than 3 minutes.”

“Oh Fuck! Then you better fucking run! I have to get the people out of there.” I said almost out of breath. I turned and ran towards the club house, and started looking around for people. No one was in the main room
it was dark, and dingy, and my voice echoed but fell on deaf ears. Pretty soon they’ll be dead ears if I don’t find them and get them out of here in less than two minutes.
