Walking into the kitchen, my dick hardened at the
sight of Simone’s transformation. Her hair was cut short, but it added to her
sexiness. Wanting to take her body right on the kitchen counter, my eyes sized
her body up and down. She stood on her tippy-toes as she reached for something
in the cabinet. Making my way to stand behind her, I pressed my need in the
small of her back as my fingers traced along her arms and hands. Inhaling the
scent of her hair, my other hand clasped her waist as I leaned into her. Her
breathing changed as she struggled to breathe in the lustful air that encircled
us. Rubbing my hand across her midsection, I dropped a kiss on her shoulder and
felt her body tremble.

            “Seriously?”

Simone quickly tried to remove her body from my
grasp to face Victoria’s glaring eyes. She eventually gave up the fight when
she realized that there was no escaping my reach.

“Victoria, I can explain,” Simone began.

“Explain what?” I asked harshly, turning to face Victoria.

Flushed with a reddish hue, Victoria shouted, “Simone,
he murdered my father.”

“Your father knew what was coming to him. He was
warned,” I said through clenched teeth. Simone gasped at my forwardness as she
moved closer to Victoria.

“And now, I'm warning you.  You’ll get what is
coming to you. I'll make sure of it,” Victoria warned as tears stung her eyes
before running out of the kitchen.

Glaring back at me with a look of horror splayed
out on her face, Simone just shook her head and left the kitchen. Going after
her, my fingers grappled her arm to stop her from going any further.

SLAP

A cold, hard, and crisp slap came across my face.
Feeling my skin boil with tension, I continued to hold onto Simone with a
firmness that applied pressure but no pain. As she attempted to free herself
from my grip, I grabbed Simone’s other arm and watched her squirm for freedom.

“Get off of me,” she said in a low, calm voice.

“No, you need to understand that there is more to
the story than what you and Victoria think that you know about that fucking
rat,” I attempted to explain.

“You are a fucking murderer,” she hissed.

“You don't know
that man like how I know him,” I began. Simone continued to twist and turn, fighting
my grip. Finally releasing her, Simone backed away. Refusing to even look at
me, Simone walked away while I sunk deeper into a heap of madness. .

Chapter Thirty-Seven

Vincenzo

Don Vallenti told me that I have four days
to make this happen, but nobody knew where Andriano was. Not even his right-hand
man, Nicolai, knew where he was. I only had this one time to make this plan
happen. After convincing Don Vallenti that I would allow him to have full
control of all Italian turfs and ports in Italy, he finally agreed to help me
assassinate Andriano. Supplying men, we only had a small window of time to make
this happen. And this fucking bitch had messed it up.

While Josephine continued to talk about
meaningless shit, I was too busy stressing over how to lure Andriano out of
hiding without drawing attention to myself. Looking at Josephine again, I knew
the perfect plan. Grabbing my cell phone, I sent a quick text to the men who
followed in a cab behind us. Change of plan…

“I need to stop by my spot first,” I said
before giving the driver the address to my apartment in Brooklyn.

“You got it boss,” said the driver in front
as he merged onto the traffic of the Belt Parkway.

Once he pulled up in front of my building, I
quickly jumped out of the car and ran up the stairs to my apartment. I had a
specific time frame to make sure that this plan didn’t fall through. Grabbing
everything that I needed, I rushed out the front door and raced down the
stairs.

Hopping back into the car, I held onto a
duffle bag and had my piece tucked behind my back.

“I have to pick up something from Queens.
Then, I promise we’ll do whatever you like,” I said to Josephine as her mouth
pouted.

Giving the driver an unmarked location to an
alley behind a mini-plaza that was known to have phony camera’s set up to deter
activities in the back, I rubbed my hand over my Glock.

“You can stop right here,” I told the driver
as he shifted the gear to park.

“What time are they coming? I made
reservations for us at the—”

POP
!

“What are you doing Vincenzo?” Josephine
screamed as she slammed her body into the door.

“Doing what you should’ve done. I’m getting
Andriano right where I want him,” I said as I pointed the gun at her head.
Tears poured out of her eyes like a waterfall as she pleaded for her life.

POP!

Josephine’s body slouched sideways as her eyes
remained open. Unzipping the duffle bag, I pulled out a pair of latex gloves
and put them on. Reaching for Josephine’s purse, I raided through the designer
bag until I found her cell phone.  Just as I did, it began to ring.

Answering on the first ring, I told one of
Vallenti’s men that I would meet them at the corner in five minutes. Slipping
my cell phone back into my pocket, I pulled out wipes and a bottle of bleach.
Wiping her fingertips, her lips, and the place that I sat in the car, I took
one final glance back at Josephine and her driver. Placing my latex gloves
inside of the duffle bag, I smiled with satisfaction that I would still be able
to pull this plan off. Walking away from the scene, I made my way to the cab
that had Vallenti’s men in it.

Chapter Thirty-Eight-

Simone

Waking up to the feel of fingertips grazing
against my skin in a feathery motion, my eyes shot open only to be hypnotized
by the pair of startling grey eyes that focused intently on me. Leaning
forward, Andriano paused as if waiting for my consent to go further. My eyes must
have given him the approval that he was searching for because he placed a soft
kiss against my lips. This kiss felt like he was saying farewell as he applied
just the amount of pressure while sustaining a level of gentleness. His finger
ran through my tresses, massaging my scalp as he gently deepened the kiss. As
our lips made love, his fingers communicated with my body.

Introducing my body into another altitude of
ecstasy, Andriano’s lips brushed light kisses over my shoulders and chest.
Marking his presence all over my skin, Andriano made it undeniably clear that
he still knew my body inside and out as streaks of shivers corrupted my spine. Lifting
my body up under the command of his lips, Andriano ripped the sheer nightie
down the middle before cupping my breast. Flicking his tongue over the hardened
pebble, Andriano’s fingers gently seared through my skin while trailing
downward. A soft moan escaped my lips as I felt him brush his fingers over the
sodden thong, drenched with wetness that only Andriano could squeeze out of me.

“I will always love you,” Andriano said as
his fingers snatched the thong off of my body. Tossing the material to the
other side of the room, Andriano’s fingers recouped my aching sex. “This will
always be mine,” he proclaimed as his arms gripped the corners of my thighs.
Swiftly switching positions, Andriano situated my body to be in a sitting position
over his face. The stubbed part of his five o’clock shadow tickled the inner
parts of my thighs as his hand palmed my ass with great appreciation. Gripping
each rump, Andriano began to move my pussy on and off of his tongue, barely
giving me any chance to recover. Moving his hand to my waist, I grabbed the
headboard as I felt his strokes become more drawn out.

“Andri—an-an-no,” I moaned out as I felt his
teeth sink into my pussy lip. Riding his face faster, I brought myself into an
earth-shattering orgasm all at the expense of Andriano’s mouth. Even after I
came down from my sexual high, I smeared my sticky sap all over his face as his
ravening tongue did everything to catch up to my rotating hips.

Finally releasing his grip on my thighs,
Andriano shifted his body to be in between my legs as my pussy moistened his chest
with the dewy nectar of my release. Feeling his body press hard into me, I felt
every inch of his hardness calling out to my sex to make more wetness for him.
Accommodating his need, a fresh pool of slushing love juices was ready to coat
his cock.

Andriano’s piercing grey eyes cut through the
guard that I had up for him, causing my heart to face the unquestionable truth.
Without warning, Andriano slid his cock into my awaiting hole with a smooth
thrust that sent me jerking away from him. Capturing my lips again, Andriano
hoisted his tongue against my tongue as if trying to get a fill of everything
that I had to offer him. His gentle grip tugged at the sides of my hair as his
cock left no part of my pussy unclaimed.

“Uhh, give it to me. Harder! Harder!” I
moaned as I met each of his ghastly thrusts like he was the kiss of death.
Sinking my nails into his back, I clawed at his passionate rage as his skin
sweltered beneath my fingertips. Feeling his teeth sink into my shoulder, I
released another passionate cry as Andriano continued to take my body to the
highest peak.

“Sei tutto per me, bella mia (You are
everything to me, bella mia),” he groaned out as he held onto the headboard and
drove his cock into me without holding back.

“Just like that—OHHHH FUCKK!” Feeling the
end lurking near, I welcomed every shutter that started to run violently
through me. His fingertips sunk into my skin as he pounded his whole weight
against my body. Tugging on my earlobe, Andriano slammed his dick against my
walls one final time as his groan echoed throughout the room. His seed shot through
my core as I cried out his name in ecstasy.

Remaining inside, Andriano continued to stare
at me as he poured his love into my womb. “I love you, Andriano,” I admitted.

Breaking away from his stare, my eyes
clamped together as my mind made peace with my body. Even the feel of his lips
pressed against mine, could not wake my exhausted body. I could hear
everything, from his heart beating slowly to the change of his breathing to his
final statement, “Mi dispiace che devo lasciare di nuovo.” (I’m sorry that I
have to leave you again).

~****~

The sound of the alarm blaring shook me out
of my sleep as my fingers searched endlessly for the snooze button. My body was
sore from all of the lovemaking that Andriano and I made. Turning my head to
the side, I half-expected Andriano to be lying in bed next to me. Instead, my
eyes dropped down to the letter that was laid in his place. Grabbing the
letter, I shifted my body up into a sitting position before I skimmed over the
letter.

Bella Mia,

Today
I should’ve been here for you because I know much your grandmother meant to you
and our daughters. In reading all of the entries that you wrote while you were
pregnant, I knew that I had cut you deeply. I knew that it left you in a state
of where you no longer believed that I loved you.

You’re
right. I am no longer in love with the woman I knew five years ago because I
fell in love with the woman she became. I wish that I could explain why I have
to leave, but I can’t. In the weeks to come, you may hear news about my demise.
You may hear horror stories about me. Just know that you and our daughters are
the best parts of me. You and our daughters have seen the most real parts of
me. I know that you’re angry and hurt, but please allow my daughters to keep
the letters that I wrote to them. They need to know that their father loved
them more than life itself. They need to know that everything that I’ve done
was for them.

Please
find it in your heart to forgive me because I never meant to hurt you. Each
time that your heart skips a beat, just remember that it is me reminding you
that I will always love you.

A.

Tears weltered in the brim of my eyes as I
realized that this was déjà vu. Andriano chose La Cosa Nostra, and I allowed
myself to become vulnerable again.

Chapter Thirty-Nine

Andriano

Queens, New York

Waiting for
Battista to come from Italy, I had to ignore the wariness that weighed heavily
on my heart as I thought about how hard it was to leave Simone and our
daughters. I knew that I couldn’t expose them to any more danger. I knew that I
had to finish what was started. But, in knowing that, I knew that there was a
great chance that I may not return home to them if I didn’t hit first. I’m
still unsure as to what is going on or who is involved, but I knew that I had to
be cautious with even family.

Taking a non-stop flight over to JFK airport
from Italy last night, I made sure to keep my return a secret from everyone. I
planned on laying low until I was able to get more knowledge of who the rat was.
Feeling my phone vibrate against my pants, I glimpsed at the number and saw
that it was Nicolai.

I answered, “What’s
going on?”

“Josephine’s dead.
She was assassinated in the back of some alley in Queens. They just identified
her body.”

“Women and children
are off limits. Whoever did this shit doesn’t give a fuck about the rules.”

Andriano
stay where you’re at because shit is getting too heavy. I’ll take care of the
arrangements for Josephine. Just lay low.”

“Too late, I’m out
here.”

~****~

Battista dropped
his bags at the door and sat down on the couch while I went straight into my
office at my loft. Punching in my security code, I opened the wall vault and pulled
out two bulletproof vests, four Glock 42’s, some revolvers, and bullets. Making
my way back to the living room, I tossed a vest over to Battista and proceeded
to put my own vest on. Battista and I became lost in the silence as we loaded
each of the Glocks with bullets. Slipping two Glocks into the back of my waist,
I pulled my shirt over my pieces. Pulling out my phone, I read the text message
from Nicolai.

“Are you
ready?” I asked Battista as he cracked his neck.

“Always,” he
answered confidently.

Walking out of
the front door, I nodded to the four soldiers that stood outside of my door before
saying, “Let’s go.”

Nicolai and
Vincenzo were in the car waiting for us. Signaling my men to follow us, I
hopped into Nicolai’s truck as we headed to Staten Island. “I secured a spot on
Hylan Boulevard,” I announced to Nicolai as I plugged the address into his GPS.

“This is
complete bullshit,” Vincenzo mumbled under his breath.

Ignoring his comment,
I laid my head against the headrest and looked outside of the window. My thoughts
drifted off to Simone and my daughters. They didn’t deserve to be alone today
while they said goodbye to their grandmother. I made a vow to protect my
daughters, but in doing so, I had to be without my daughters. It was still a
mystery as to who was behind the killings. Why was Josephine behind that alley?
She was assassinated just like her father and mother. Even though I despised
her, Josephine did not deserve to die like that.

From my
peripheral, I could see Vincenzo shifting in his seat as he constantly looked
down at his cell phone. He gave off this unsettling vibe that usually hinted
that he was up to some bullshit that Nicolai would have to get him out of. As I
shifted my focus to Nicolai, he remained calm as he drove down the West-Side
Highway.

“Nicolai,
change of plans. Let’s go to that pick-up spot on Long Island.”

“Are you
sure?” Nicolai asked as he looked at me in the rearview mirror. Nodding my
head, Nicolai continued to drive while I continued to observe Vincenzo’s body
language. A few minutes later, Vincenzo pulled out his cell phone and began
typing.

“Fuck,”
Vincenzo cursed to himself as his palms rubbed against his jeans.
He’s
nervous
, I thought as I continued to watch him rake his fingers through his
hair.

“I think that
we should stick with the original plan,” Vincenzo said.

“And why is
that?” I asked Vincenzo as I rubbed my fingers over my piece of steel.

“Because
we’re not going to be able to get Vallenti’s men,” he responded.

~****~

            Looking around, I
searched for any suspicious cars that may have followed us. Entering the side
door of the Laundromat, we made our way to the office downstairs in the
basement. Sitting at the roundtable of this small dark room, I focused my
attention on Vincenzo. His answer from when we were in the car replayed in my
head as I struggled to deal with the fact that my own blood would want me dead.

“You want me
dead?” I asked as the office became silent. Within seconds, Battista pointed
the barrel of his Glock at the temple Vincenzo’s head.

“Fuck you,
Andriano,” Vincenzo finally said after a few minutes of staring back at me.

“What the
fuck are you doing?” Nicolai screamed as he pulled out his piece and aimed it
at Battista. Vincenzo’s face became my tunnel vision as I drowned out all the
sound around us and focused on Vincenzo’s breathing. Beads of sweat settled on
his forehead as his eyes remained fixed on me.

“How did you
know about the Vallenti men?” I asked Vincenzo.
