Dr. Daddy Dom (Little Lake Bridgeport 2) (13 page)

"Yes, sir. Uncle Layton?"

"What, baby doll?"

"What constitutes name calling? If the description is accurate or appropriate, how is it considered an insult rather than an observation?"

Carlton released a loud roar of laughter. "The girl is a born attorney! Excellent loophole, my dear. So, what's your rebuttal, Counselor Cranky Pants?"

"Bite me." Layton scowled.

"Love youuu," May sang into his ear.

Chapter 9

"Are you ready? Huh? Are you ready?" May asked the following Saturday as they prepared to visit Ian and Savannah.

"In five more minutes. Do you have your movies?" Caine asked, loading the food into a box.

"Yep. Where's Layton?"

"He's loading the truck. By the way, we're going to go to the airport after our visit."

"We are?"

"Yes, ma'am. Layton wanted to go back to San Antonio and have some family time now that we know Savannah and Ian are holding their own. Ow!" Caine winced at her excited, high-pitched squeal. "Can you carry this outside for me? It shouldn't be too heavy."

"Sure!' May nodded, singing happily to herself as she walked to the truck. "Uncle Layton, Daddy said that you're taking us to San Antonio again. Do I need to pack anything?"

"Nope, I've got it all taken care of. Thank you," he said, taking the box from her hand. "Are you excited to see Savannah?"

"Yeah. She said that she might be getting her jaw unwired at the end of next week. Isn't that cool?"

"I'm glad for her. Maybe we can bring her a celebration pie," Layton said.

"Blueberry? Oh please, make it blueberry!"

"You have to ask Miss Clara at the safe house. You know I don't bake."

"Liar. You make killer cookies."

Layton laughed. "No, I turn on the oven, slice premade dough into circles, and wait until they start to burn."

"Yeah, but you do it with love."

"True. Caine! Are you ready? You're moving like molasses today."

"I'm sorry," the man said, handing his brother a bag. "That delivery took forever last night, and I didn't get much sleep."

"You didn't get much sleep because
somebody
wouldn't lie still." Layton eyed May. "From now on you're going to sleep in your own bed if you fidget."

"I was fidgeting because my bottom hurt!" May defended herself.

"Don't get mouthy and you won't be spanked. It's that simple. Now get in the truck and put that lip back where it belongs."

When they arrived at their destination, Carlton had already fired up the grill and was happily sharing his age-play experiences with the eager-to-learn Ian. He grabbed May by the waist and tossed her into the air before landing a big kiss on her temple.

"There's my girl! How are you doing today?"

"Uncle Layton was mean to me again last night. Is Vanna up?"

"She should be soon. Why don't you go check on her?" Ian suggested.

Slinging her backpack over her shoulder, May tiptoed into the large master bedroom, where Vanna sat on the large, queen-sized bed. "You're awake! No more hospital bed?"

"Don't need it and yeah, I'm awake," Savannah muttered.

"What's wrong?" May asked, climbing next to her.

"I'm mad at Daddy," came the response.

May hid her excitement at hearing the title. "Why? What did he do?"

"He used one of those horrible butt plugs on me last night and then made me sit in the corner!"

"Why?"

Savannah sighed and shrugged. "I might have been talking back a little bit. It's not funny." May quickly straightened her face. "He got all 'Layton' on me and told me to straighten up."

"I'm sorry, but saying he got all 'Layton' on you is kind of funny." May giggled before mimicking her husband in a low voice. "Did he sound like this? '
You had best straighten up this instant, young lady, or there will be hell to pay. Am I understood?
' followed by a grunt?"

"Oh, my God, that is exactly how he talked! Anyway, I kind of told him to get a life and eat more chocolate because he sounded like he was PMSing."

"You didn't! Oh, that's good. I gotta remember that!" May said.

"Are you nuts?" Savannah looked at her with stricken amazement. "They would paddle your ass for that."

"I know." May snickered behind her hand. "So what did he say after that?"

"He said
nothing
. He grabbed the box of plugs and laid them out on the bed, and then picked up each one until he chose the purple one."

"Not the purple one!" May's eyes widened. "It's ginormous!"

"That's what I said. I can't really protect myself yet, either," Savanna said, lifting her casted wrists. "Next thing I knew, he had me on my side, and was sticking his finger in my ass."

"Don't you like that, though?" May whispered. "I do. I also like it when they fuck me there."

"You do?" She watched May nod and shook her head. "Okay, I admit that I don't mind the finger when he's being nice, like before the suppositories, but this was different. It felt like he was putting his whole hand in there and it hurt, like a stingy burning stretch, and then he pulled them out and put the plug right in. I cried. A lot."

"Did you cry because it hurt or because you were embarrassed? I always cry when I feel humiliated," May admitted.

"It hurt, but not like any of this stuff did," Savannah answered, again lifting her arms. "I was also so mortified. He held my butt cheeks closed for like five minutes and then made me get off the bed. That's when he sat me in the corner."

"For how long?"

"Hours!"

"It was fifteen minutes, young lady, and you deserved every second," Ian said firmly as he entered the room unannounced. "And I'm glad you minded me about telling May what happened to your bottom last night."

"I can't believe how mean you are, Uncle Ian," May scolded. "How dare you go 'Layton' on my friend?"

"Did I hear my name?" Layton asked, sitting down on the end of the bed.

"You seem to have a reputation, big brother," Caine commented. "I have good news for you, Savannah. I spoke with the surgeon and the orthopedists yesterday, and they both cleared you."

"Cleared me for what?"

"They said that as long as you aren't in a position to use your wrists or hit your jaw, your daddy can start using a switch or a light paddle on you. Isn't that wonderful?"

"Oh, dear God," Savannah groaned. Looking up at Carlton, she said, "Don't I get any sympathy here?"

"Don't look at me, shortcake. I would have had a switch cut and ready even before I got the go ahead. You've been very naughty lately. Oh, yes, your daddy has been telling me everything," Carlton said.

"This isn't fair. All of you are ganging up on me." Savannah pouted, crossing her arms.

"I'm not." May stood up and pointed at the door. "All of you can go away now. We are going to watch my favorite movie and none of you are invited." She emphasized her order with the stomping of her foot. After the laughing 'adults' had retreated to the living room, she returned her attention to her friend. "Are you getting used to this yet?"

"The being picked on, threatened, or teased?"

"All of the above."

"A little. Sometimes it's fun, but other times it's not. What's that?"

"Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, of course. Heroes in a half shell!" May announced, slipping the DVD into the player.

"What in the world is that noise?" Caine asked, as the sound of raucous laughter and booming music was heard down the hall. The four men stood in the doorway to watch as May performed a break dance, while Savannah held Owie Bear to her stomach, laughing hysterically.

"What's going on in here?"

"I'm dancing for Vanna. She said I couldn't hip-hop as good as Michelangelo and I was showing her."

Ian walked up to May and gently pushed her to the side, then turned off the television. "You want to see hip-hop? Make some room and I'll show you how it's done."

"What the…" Savannah stared in disbelief.

"Do you need some back up?" Carlton asked, starting a beat.

"Count me in," Layton added.

Caine's mouth dropped open as he slowly lowered himself on the bed next to the equally stunned girls as Ian spun, moon-walked and top-rocked, while Layton bounced and rapped in time to Carlton's human beat-box.

"Knock, knock, knock, you gonna get shell-shocked… That's my fam, I'll hold us together

Us against the others, we can go against whatever… Together, ain't no way we are failin'

We’ve got each others’ back, turtle shells, and keep on walin'…"

"Holy shit," Caine whispered, grabbing May's hand with his eyes glued to the three men as they stood together and took a deep bow once the performance ended. "I'm speechless." Both girls mutely nodded in agreement.

"What were you saying earlier about going 'Layton', my dears?" The tall, muscular attorney crossed his arms over his chest, looking immensely pleased with himself.

"I… uh…" May stuttered. "Where the hell did that come from?" she finally forced out.

Layton tweaked her nose. "How many times have you made me watch that movie? Plus, I have skills that you don't know about—so does Daddy, for that matter. He plays the fiddle, for example."

"You do?" May turned her attention to Caine.

"I used to. I wasn't very good."

"Bullshit. He won first place four years running at the county fair," Layton said.

"Daddy? Really?"

"Yeah, but Layton plays the bass. My mother made him learn when he was a teenager. He used to pretend it was a girl and danced with it," Caine spouted. "Oh, and when he was real little, he had a red cowboy hat, a red rodeo shirt, and matching boots that he loved so much that he slept in them. I even have pictures!"

"Glad you've got my back, bro," Layton sulked.

"How cute!" May exclaimed. "I knew that he used to box, but not this!"

"I play the banjo. We should get together sometime," Carlton suggested.

"Ian plays a little guitar. Don't you?" Savanna asked, finally finding her voice. "When did you learn how to dance like that?"

"Like these gentlemen said, there are a lot of things you don't know," Ian said, climbing onto the bed and leaning over her body to kiss her nose. "Did you like that?"

"I'm
flabberized
," she whispered. "That's flabbergasted and mesmerized."

Caine and Layton groaned. "Please tell me that May didn't teach you about making up words. I thought that we broke that habit. May? Did you teach her this?"

"I'm not telling."

***

"Tired, little one?" Caine asked as they started on the way to the airport.

May suppressed another yawn. "Yeah. You kept me up last night, remember?"

"I kept you up? As I recall—"

"You can take a nap once we get up in the air, sweetheart. And don't pick on Daddy, he's had a shocking day," Layton said, steering the truck into the airfield.

"I still can't believe what I saw," May said, allowing him to lift her out of the vehicle and carry her to the private plane where their pilot was waiting.

"Wait until you hear him play the fiddle. He's amazing," Layton said, putting her in the back seat and buckling the harness for her.

"Will you please stop with the fiddle playing?" Caine requested, climbing in next to her. "It's been a long time and I've probably lost all of my chops."

"You'll never know unless you dust off the old girl and play with her strings for a while. You used to be able to work her up pretty good."

"Should I be jealous?" May asked with a frown.

"Both of you, stop it. I'm going to grab a nap so I can enjoy myself tonight," Caine said.

"What's tonight?" May said.

"You'll see," her husbands answered in unison.

***

"I'll carry in the bags while you get May," Layton said quietly as they drove up to the rustic, barn-shaped house, surrounded by groves of ancient cypress trees shrouded with lacy falls of Spanish moss. The Guadalupe River gurgled happily behind the building, its song punctuated by the chirping cicadas.

Caine scooped the slumbering girl into his arms and paused before walking to the door. "I can't believe we're back. It is really generous of Sri to let us take over her house again. Things changed for us here, remember?"

"I do. May discovered her love of the belt, for starters. We also discovered her hatred for oatmeal."

"And the sex in the river was amazing. You know, I never had the chance to play acupuncturist, and you didn't get to mess with Sri's Violet Wand," Caine added.

"We will have to remedy that this time. Hey, Caine? We've been in age-play almost constantly lately. Would you be opposed to making this trip all adult?" Layton asked.

"Not at all. I think it would be good for all of us. In fact, I have a great idea…"

***

Both were standing over the bed when May awoke. Her eyes immediately widened as she looked back and forth at her naked, restrained limbs. She tugged against the leads attached to the short bed posts, and found herself to be completely immobile. "What's going on?"

"Caine and I decided that we wanted our wife to serve us," Layton said, propping his right foot up on the bed and leaning forward to rest his arms on his knee. "There will be no age-play unless we say so, understand?"
