Aline glanced at Xavier who smiled.

“Dad – grandad, daddy – grandpa, meet Jack Alistair, Lincoln Pierce.”

Her parent’s eyes locked on hers. “After us?” Alistair blubbered.

Linc wrapped his arm around his lover. “I don’t think she knows any other Alistair and Lincoln, do you?”

“Jack is after my grandfather,” Xavier explained.

“He’s perfect. Thank you for giving us such a beautiful grandson. Most of all, I thank the good Lord for keeping you safe.” Alistair hugged the baby tight.

“I can’t wait to have him home where we can spoil him. He will have everything his little heart desires.” Linc kissed Alistair as he wrapped the baby’s hand in his.

Aline groaned. “I fear between you three and Xavier’s parents, it’s going to be an uphill battle for me to keep this child under control.”

The men erupted into laughter.

Tears ran down Alistair’s face, tears of pure happiness, as he handed the baby to Linc. They kissed tenderly before Linc spoke. His voice rough with emotion. “Phoebe will be watching over this little boy just as she has always watched over us and our daughter. How could we have doubted she would not keep Aline and her child safe?”

Aline snuggled against Xavier’s chest and watched with pride as her parents worshipped her son. With so many loving people in his life, she had no doubt, Jack’s life would be filled with a great deal of happiness.
