Chapter Two

The bathroom was quiet, normally filled with chaotic
chatter and laughter, but now…a room of solitude and peace.

I made my way to the large shower in the back, one of the
very few with a curtain. It was usually occupied by the two lesbians on my
floor, Mary Lou and Kimmy.

Most of the girls on the floor knew to avoid the bathroom
when they were in there. They loved to use the shower as a way to exploit their
love. The noises they made were like those in a porn movie, moaning and
groaning as they pleasured each other behind the curtain. It was as if they got
off making everyone in the bathroom feel uncomfortable.

But tonight, the large shower was empty, as well as the
bathroom, just the way I liked it.

While the water was washing away my anxieties, chatter
started in the empty room, echoing as if the voices were heard from inside a
canyon.

My heart pounded in my chest. I had left my robe and towel
outside of the shower stall, and the water was beginning to prune my skin.
Maybe
they would leave soon…

Ten minutes went by in what seemed like an hour. The girls
were still there, chatting about boys and a new hot Physics professor. I took a
deep breath and stepped outside the shower, quickly reaching for my towel and
robe. Both fell to the ground, out of my reach from behind the comfort of the
curtain and alerted the girls of my presence.

The little brunette looked away as quickly as she had
turned towards me, uninterested in the events of my embarrassment. The blonde
however didn’t look away, but continued to stare in my direction.

I felt foolish behind the curtain, acting as if my body
was some hideous side show attraction that needed hidden from the public eye.
But, my heart still pounded and my palms started to sweat from the anguish over
what to do.
Should I just get back in the shower, stand there and wait for
them to leave? Make myself look even more foolish?

Just do it Kelly,
the tiny voice in my head urged.

The blonde looked away, removing her eyes from their
locked position on mine. Her friend was telling her about the boy she had slept
with the night before, asking her for advice on how to handle his now distant
behavior.
See? This is why I don’t date. Who has time for all this drama?

I took my chance and stepped from behind the curtain,
quickly gathering my robe and towel from the floor. As I looked up, the blonde
was staring at me again, this time smiling and eyeing my naked body as if it was
there only for her own pleasure.

Goosebumps travelled up my arms and then down my spine. A
rush of what felt like excitement pushed through me and I froze for a second
before wrapping myself up in the robe. I didn’t even bother to dry off or
smooth my hair back. I gathered my shower caddy and rushed past the girls at
the sink and into my room.

The image of that blonde’s eyes on me was still burning
into my mind. I never found myself interested in women, but this didn’t feel
like it was about it being a woman looking at me; it was just that someone was
looking…

I slipped on my sleep pants and a large t-shirt, smoothened
my hair back with the brush and gripped my book as I slid under the covers.

My mind kept drifting back to the little blonde in the
bathroom.
Did she like what she saw?

I giggled to myself and let my book fall to my chest so my
hands could smooth against my sides. I traced my shape with the palm of my
hands, taking in the small of my waist and the fullness of my hips.

My body was tingling from my touch and the thought that
someone found it intriguing. I let my hands push my sleep pants down past my
hips so I could explore the warmth coming from my inner thighs.

Hard nipples pushed against the cotton of my t-shirt as my
fingers pushed against the soft folds of my pussy. I spread myself open,
teasing my hole with one finger, sliding it back and forth against the slippery
juices that were building with my excitement.

I let my hips rock back and forth, pushing my finger deep
into my aching pussy.
Why was I so horny?

It felt good to finally feel the relief of penetration
from my finger and a soft moan escaped my lips.

The room was quiet, but soft chatter could be heard in the
halls outside my doors. Some of the girls were coming back from their parties
already, while others were just leaving for theirs.

The ache was so tender that I knew my orgasm was close,
but my fingers were not enough to bring me to the edge of my pleasure and push
me off for the free fall of ecstasy.

I reached under my mattress, pulling out the small
vibrator I hid. The vibrations quickly grabbed my clit, sending tingles through
my spine and causing my back to arch. One finger worked inside my pussy as I
let the small pink vibrator work its magic.

My body shook with delight as I felt the rush of pleasure
consume me. My fingers soaked in slippery juices as I twitched and then
throbbed around them.

The vibrator was shut off, placed back under the mattress
and my pants slipped back around my hips. I was peaceful, relaxed…satisfied,
for now.

Chapter Three

“Kelly!” Quinn’s voice shook me from my deep slumber.

She was standing over top of me, her eyes bright and
wildly excited.

“What time is it?” I mumbled.

I tried rolling back over, pulling the blanket over my
head. She ripped the material from my grip and tossed the blanket onto the floor.

“What is wrong with you?” I snapped.

“I have our vacation figured out!” she exclaimed.

I sat up, watching her as she plopped down on the edge of
my mattress. She had thrown out so many ideas for our trip over the last month;
I was no longer excited about her news. She was buzzed, so I expected another
ridiculous idea, like the African safari that neither of us could afford.

“What is it this time?” I asked, still groggy and
irritated from being woken up.

“A cruise…” she said.

A cruise didn’t sound bad at all; it was something we
could both afford as long as she didn’t plan to sail to Europe.

“It’s a short cruise, 4 days…” she said.

“That sounds great; can we talk about it in the morning?”
I asked.

“So, you’re in?” she asked.

“Yes, it sounds perfect…” I said, just praying she would
let me go back to sleep.

She grabbed the blanket she tossed to the floor and threw
it back on my bed. I gripped it, pulling it to my neck and fell back onto my
pillow.

I could hear her pecking on her laptop’s keypad and knew
she was going to spend the night searching for the perfect cruise. By morning
she would have all the details ready and I could give her my credit card, but
tonight…I just wanted to sleep.

I eventually fell back into my deep slumber to the soft
pecking of the keyboard. When the sun broke through my dorm room window and
onto my forehead, my eyes pushed shut, begging for a few more minutes of sleep.

Quinn was sound asleep, her soft snores echoing through
the room. I tiptoed across the floor, grabbing my clothes and quickly dressing
before she opened her eyes.

As I grabbed my text books, one fell, creating a loud bang
on the floor. I turned; Quinn rustled under her blankets and then opened her
eyes.
It was only fair I guess, she had woken me up in the middle of the
night…

“I booked our cruise,” she uttered.

I froze in my spot, my feet unable to move and my voice
lost to the surprising news she announced.

“What do you mean you booked our cruise?” I asked.

“You said you were in, so I found a great deal…” she said.

I was full of panic. She was buzzed, and probably drunk
off her ass. She had no business booking our summer trip, especially not
without consulting me about the details.

“Quinn, what the hell?” I asked.

I was irritated, but I was also running out of time to
debate the argument with her.

“Some friends took the same cruise last year. They said it
was amazing…” she said.

At least she knew something about the cruise.

My head was spinning. I needed to know the details, where
we are going, how long, how much this was all going to cost….

“I really wish you would talked to me first…” I said.

“I did,” she said and then rolled back over, shoving her
face under the blankets.

That was Quinn, fly by the seat of your pants girl…party
girl. She made all of her decisions on a whim. Hell, even her choice in college
was done based on pictures of previous frat guys and the fact that she had the
best piece of pizza of her life when she visited the campus.

I liked to research everything, thoroughly. I spent two
years analyzing colleges, looking at the statistics and getting background on
the professors I planned to study under. Booking a cruise while I was drinking
and not worrying about the details…that wasn’t my style.
I wanted to scream!

“We’ll talk about this later…” I said.

I grabbed my books and headed towards the large hall for
my Saturday morning study group.

Inside, Ginger, a poorly named redhead girl who barely speak
was the only one there. “Where is everyone?” I asked.

“I guess they ditched the group this morning…” she said.

Great, what a day!

I wasn’t planning on staying with just her, but I knew
back at the dorm, Quinn would sleep for another several hours and talking to
her about what she had done was not going to happen, at least not until she had
a couple cans of Mountain Dew and a slice of her favorite pizza.

“Breakfast?” Ginger asked.

I had spoken maybe ten words to her all year, so it was a
little shocking to be asked to breakfast. “Sure,” I said.

My mind was preoccupied with the plans Quinn had made, and
it was the only thing I could talk about. Over a cup of coffee and a bagel, I
spilled all of my anxieties and fears about the trip to the little redhead that
I barely knew.

“I took a cruise after high school graduation; it was the
best time of my life…” she said.

I listened as she told me about the amazing food included
in the price of the trip, the beautiful whales she had spotted early in the
morning outside her cabin window and the endless list of activities provided
onboard.

My nerves began to calm as I realized any other trip would
require me to entertain Quinn, something I knew I wasn’t equipped to do…. But a
cruise….a cruise would entertain her for me. If she was hell bent on taking me,
just me, on a vacation this summer, then I needed something that would help
keep her occupied and happy.

Maybe this wasn’t such a bad idea…

Chapter Four

“Ok, I’m in…” I announced, busting through the dorm room
door.

Quinn was sitting up on her bed, propped up by her
pillows. Her laptop was on her legs and her can of Mountain Dew opened beside
her.

“I brought you pizza…” I said, waving a slice of her
favorite pie under her nose.

I knew I still needed it to get her up and moving, and to
get her to tell me the details I so desperately needed.

“Oh fuck yeah!” she exclaimed, grabbing the pizza box from
my hands like a ravished dog.

I watched as she carefully pulled the slice from the
cardboard and held it to her lips. She took her time as she let the scent of
the oregano and roasted garlic sift under her nostrils before pushing the
doughy goodness into her mouth.

She looked as though she was having an orgasm as she
moaned to the sweet marinara hitting her lips. The sauce drizzled down her chin
and onto her pink tank top…
my pink tank top! I hated it when she borrowed my
stuff without asking…

“Oh my God, you are amazing,” she said, distracting me
from the mess on my tank top with her compliment.

“Anything for you. Now can you please tell me about this
cruise?” I asked.

She perked up at my interest, turning the laptop to face
me. It displayed a picture of a large cruise ship. And as I scrolled through
the images, I was sold.

“It’s not too expensive?” I asked.

“All your meals are included, and I got a coupon code from
Sara last night that gives us free alcohol on the ship as well…” she said, her
voice screeching to a higher squeal than I had ever heard.

Free alcohol was a hell of a deal for Quinn; she drank like
a fish…but I barely drank. She still hadn’t answered my question.

“So, how much?” I asked.

“It’s four days to the Bahama’s and back…” she said.

My good feeling about this trip was slowly disappearing as
she continued to avoid the question on cost.

“I put it on my card. You can pay me back…” she said.

Her eyes were lit up, bright and bouncy as she continued
to tease me. I was about to scream at her, yank the laptop from her dehydrated,
alcohol-saturated fingers and cancel our trip when she finally started
laughing.

“They had a single ladies special…$750!” she squealed in
that same high pitched tone.

“Holy shit!” I exclaimed.

Leave it to Quinn to find the deal of the century. That
was less than we would have spent on airfare and a hotel to anywhere…and this
included free food, alcohol and entertainment…
and we were going to the
Bahamas!

I leaned down, gripped her tightly and hugged her in my
arms. I didn’t care that the pizza sauce was now smeared on both my shirts as
we hugged; I was elated that she had done so well, better than I would have
ever imagined.

“When do we leave?” I asked.

“Next week. So cancel all your summer nerd groups,” she
giggled as she spoke.

Yeah. Compared to Quinn, I was a huge nerd. Compared to
most people I was a huge nerd.

The port was only four hours away, making it a painless
drive to our destination.

I was excited…

It didn’t take long for the week to go by. I had my
suitcase packed and my last test taken. So all that was left was to wait until
morning.

Since Quinn took the liberty of making the plans for the
bulk of the trip, I took over the itinerary for our drive. I created several
playlists on my phone and had our route all mapped out.

I wanted to take a more scenic route, versus just the
Interstate the whole way, so I included a few back roads where we would stop
and eat lunch along the way.

My alarm was set for seven, but I was already awake at
six. It was hell waiting for Quinn to wake up. And when the alarm sounded for
the second time…I was ready to shake her, but she finally showed signs of life.

“Are you ready?’ I asked.

She let out a laugh and then slowly sat up. “You’re
excited…” she said.

“Yes, and hungry…” I said.

I double-checked our bags as she got herself dressed. The dorm
was eerily quiet as we made our way to the back parking lot.  Many of the girls
had already left to go home, creating a spooky vibe to the normally chaotic
halls.

Quinn’s car was an older Mustang, maybe a 98’, or close.
It was red with black stripes. And even though it was older and a little beat
up, it is still a cool car.

We loaded the hatch with our bags and shoved one on the
back seat. There wasn’t much room in the little car, so I was thankful we only
had to pack for a four-day trip.

Quinn refused to stop for breakfast, messing up my morning
itinerary. Instead, we grabbed a pizza from the 24-hour pizza shop on the
corner that she loved and a couple cans of cold Mountain Dew.

“Let’s at least get out of town, and then you can take
over…” she said.

“Fair enough,” I said.

I let her drive us away from campus and onto the
Interstate as she shoved the hot pizza in her mouth. It made me nervous to
watch her drive with one hand while she was eating; so instead, I stared out
the window and daydreamed about the cruise.
