“So be it,” he called over his shoulder. He returned to the
sofa and looked at Chanel.

“Off the record, I’m don’t want to talk about Victoria. It’s
a complicated situation that I don’t think anyone needs to know about. On the
record, yes, she’s pregnant with my child. We found out after we broke up. No,
we’re not getting back together.”

His answer seemed to satisfy Chanel and Tracy. She switched
on her recorder and resumed the interview.

“Can we talk about Savannah?”

“What about her?” Cash was even more hesitant to talk about
Savannah but he had to give them something.

“Well, she’s the new woman in your life, correct? People
want to know how you met and things like that. Come on, Cash. You have to give
me something to work with.”

Cash considered his options. Savannah would definitely read
the interview. This could work out in his favor for once. He heard the tap-tap
of opportunity knocking and decided to open the door. Maybe, just maybe, seeing
his feelings in print would help her navigate through her requested time-space
continuum and lead her back to him. It was worth a shot. He ignored the scowl
on Tracy’s face and adamant shake of his publicist’s head.

“Sure,” he finally answered Chanel. “We can talk about
Savannah.”

if not more, of antagonizing local law enforcement and truancy officers.

These days, Myers is the beloved and uncensored star his
mother always knew he’d be. His charisma, charm, and engaging wit has fans
wrapped around the superstar’s finger. His tumblr blog and Instagram feeds are
filled with pictures of him being the regular guy that he desperately clings

Radar contributing editor Chanel Nicholson met with Cash
Myers at the Radar offices in downtown L.A. and again at his luxurious $8.5
million dollar condo in Century City that he shares with his 16-year-old
sister. Nicholson writes that Cash Myers is easier to talk to and more willing
to open up when he is in the comfort of his own home. From the humility he
shows on stage to his abrupt reactions when dealing with paparazzi, one wouldn’t
believe the joking, laid back, goof off Cash becomes when he is in his comfort
zone. When I met him in the theater room of his condo, he was helping Brittany
prep for an audition in her school’s performance of Harry’s Hotter at Twilight.
He looked completely at ease in his home, so we started part two of the
interview by talking about his home life.

Radar:
Are you a momma’s boy?

Cash:
I don’t have a choice but to be. I’m
an only child and I was raised by a single mother. I was destined

to be a momma’s boy.

Radar:
Was growing up in Roxbury rough for you?

Cash:
Not for me. Roxbury isn’t as bad as
people make it out to be. When I was growing up, it was

low income and predominately
non-white and I still didn’t have any problems. My mother and

aunts did a good job of
keeping me occupied so that, at the end of the day, I was too tired to get

into trouble.

Radar:
But you do have a juvenile record, correct?

Cash:
For regular teenage stuff like graffiti,
underage drinking, and skipping school. I wasn’t robbing

or killing anyone. I was
a rowdy teenager.

Radar:
What was growing up in Roxbury like
for you then?

Cash:
Growing up there taught me a lot
about other cultures. Growing up in a

predominantly black and
Hispanic neighborhood showed me how race works in this country. My

mother and aunts drove
me across town so I could participate in youth sports and guitar and

piano lessons because we
didn’t have those in my neighborhood. I went to school with kids who

would have killed to
play little league football and baseball, but couldn’t because they didn’t

have transportation or
weren’t wanted on the teams because of where they were from. This only

happened to the Hispanic
and black kids because I was accepted without a problem. I realized, at

a very young age, what
being white in America actually means.

Radar:
Now you’re dating an African-American
woman. Not to be insensitive, but is this your way of

showing that you’re
down? That you’re on our side because you grew up in a black

neighborhood?

Cash:
First, I’ve never claimed to be down.
I’ve never tried to “act black.” I was the white kid on the

block who read comic books
and whose mom made him take piano lessons. My friends were my

friends, but I’ve never tried
to be something I’m not. When I go back home, that’s what they

remember about me.

Radar:
Tell us about Savannah Ford. You guys seem like such an unlikely match.

Cash:
Why? Because she’s black?

Radar:
Well, that and the fact that she’s a gossip blogger.

Cash:
Never say that to her. She does more
than run a blog. She’s everything you want in an

entertainment
journalist. She has a career outside of her website, which is not a blog, by
the way.

I think her job is one
of the reasons our relationship works.

Radar:
Her career? You have to explain that.

Cash:
Yes, her career. She’s unique because
her career is what keeps me famous. Her job is to write

about the lives and
actions of celebrities because people want to know. The relationship between

media and celebrities
can often be tense because we try to maintain as much privacy as possible

and your job is to make
sure that doesn’t happen.

Radar:
But how does that help your relationship?

Cash:
If I were to date a nurse, she
probably wouldn’t be able to handle the media attention that being

with me would create.
She wouldn’t be able to deal with being the subject of the conversations of

strangers. Savannah, on
the other hand, isn’t just a regular girl. She understands my lifestyle

better because she makes
a living writing about the life of celebrities. She already knew what

being Cash Myer’s
girlfriend would be like.

Radar:
But it’s different being on the other side of the camera.

Cash:
Considerably, but she understands the
industry. She can understand when I come home

frustrated by what
people say about me and us on social media. And she’s very influential. She

has relationships strong
enough that she can say, “Please don’t print that” and people won’t.

Radar:
I know Savannah personally and I have
tremendous respect for her. However, Savannah has

often talked about how
much of a fan she is of yours. Is dating a fan weird?

Cash:
If she wasn’t a fan, I don’t believe
we would have ever met. I used to say I’d never date a fan or

a gossip blogger, but
somehow I ended up in a great relationship with a girl who happens to be

both. It doesn’t feel
weird to me. I’m happy with her.

Radar:
You speak about her with such admiration and respect. Are you in love,
Cash?

Cash:
Yes. I met Savannah right after
something truly hurtful happened to me. When I looked at her, I

knew that I’d been in
the wrong relationship. When I looked at her, I knew I’d found my soul

mate. Like, she’s the
girl I’ve been writing songs about for all these years.

Radar:
Is marriage next on your To-Do List?

Cash:
Depends on if it’s next on hers. Our
relationship is still new. We’re still working out the kinks,

but I definitely see us
spending our lives together.

Radar:
With the new baby on the way, how are
things between Savannah and Victoria? Do they get

along?

Cash:
They’ve never met. We’re all kind of
getting a grip on our situation because it’s definitely

something that was
sprung on all three of us. Vic’s a great person and I love her to death.

Savannah’s a great
person and I love her too so I don’t expect any problems when they meet.

Radar:
On a scale of 1to 10, how afraid of being a father are you?

Cash:
25. I’m terrified, but I know that my
child has a great mom who comes from a great family. The

Myers aren’t too shabby
either so we’ll be fine.

You know the
name. Savannah Ford was a household name long before she inserted herself into
the life of America’s boy-next-door musician, Cash Myers.

Savannah won
the world over with her witty and charming entertainment news site,
FangirlSqueal.com. As an entertainment journalist, Ms. Ford’s resume is
impeccable and her reputation was pristine. Often referred to as “one of the
good ones” by celebrities and their publicists, Savannah built her reputation
by never reporting on gossip and was always the first with “Confirmed” reports
on her blog. Celebrities flocked to her little piece of the Internet in droves
and she shot to the top of the blogosphere, following the success of Perez
Hilton and Melrose’s Place.

It wasn’t
until her relationship with Cash Myers was revealed to the public that Ms. Ford
began to lose a little of her credibility. According to a recent interview with
Radar Magazine, Cash said that he would never date a fan or a gossip blogger.
So why her? Why now?

Sources
close to both parties have revealed that the self-proclaimed “SUPERFAN” had
Cash Myers in her sights all along. She did everything, from traveling around
the country to hosting parties in every attempt to meet Cash Myers. One look at
Ms. Ford’s personal Facebook page and it’s clear that celebrity gossip blogger
had only one thing on her mind…getting close to Cash.

No one can
say that feelings expressed in the Radar interview aren’t real, but we can’t
say that Ms. Ford doesn’t have ulterior motives either. Here’s what we do know.
Before meeting Savannah, Cash was engaged to Victoria Williamson, the star of
television’s hit series, Lover’s Lane. For three years, Cash and Victoria were
happy and when he proposed, the world cheered and wished them well. Six months
before they were to walk down the aisle, Cash meets Savannah and his
relationship with Victoria suddenly ends. Just weeks later, Cash is spotted in
New York with Savannah Ford. Now, with a baby on the way, Cash is speaking to
Radar and outwardly admitting that he has no plans on being with the mother of
his child because he wants to be with Ms. Ford.

To this
blogger, that feels wrong. There’s a line between journalists and celebrities
that shouldn’t be crossed, especially when there are children involved. Who’s
to say that Savannah Ford is the reason that Cash broke off his engagement and ended
his three-year relationship, but we know she’s the reason that this father-to-be
doesn’t want anything to do with his ex-fiancée or their child. I believe in
