“Nope I’m good,” he answered back,
his head leaned back and his eyes half closed. Ha, Claire was going to have
some fun tonight, dealing with
that.

Chapter
11

Paige

The breeziness of the night hit me
in the face as soon as I stepped outside, taking away a little bit of the
dizziness the alcohol had set in to my brain. Kitty had wandered off with
Claire to hunt down Chris who had apparently already had too much to drink and
according to Kitty, he tended to get a little crazy. I couldn’t imagine Chris
Chapman being anything but his reserved self, I’m sure that was a sight to see.

It wasn’t as crowded in the
sprawling back yard and only a few people were scattered around on the back
deck that stretched the entire length of the house. This definitely wasn’t the
type of place most college students lived in. I could see what Dylan meant when
he said Susanne gave him a heavy discount when it came to rent.

I pulled my phone out when I heard
it chirp and unlocked the screen to see a message from Ben waiting.
Miss
you, hope you’re behaving yourself.
A little smiley face was added at the
end, I guess to lighten the controlling tone of the message.

I think Amy had seriously messed him
up when she cheated on him. He seemed to be more and more controlling lately as
our relationship progressed, always wanting to know where I was and who I was
with. And apparently, even though she cheated on him, he was still in love with
her.

Ugh, sigh. Wait, did I just
inwardly sigh? I think it was time to break up with Ben, really I just didn’t
feel it between the two of us. No need to get all stressed out about the whole
situation. I know I didn’t have a lot of experience with the whole dating
thing, but I wasn’t feeling it.

Now when it came to Dylan Turner…that
was a whole different ballgame. He got me so flustered at just the small little
touches that he placed on my body, immediately setting me on fire and stirring
up feelings that I had never felt before.

“Thinking about me?” A husky voice
whispered in my ear, sending shivers to my toes. “How’d you know?” I asked
coyly, even though he was completely spot on. How in the hell did he do that?

“Will you dance with me?” he asked,
nuzzling his nose into the crook of my neck and I tilted my head to give him
better access. What was wrong with me? I felt like a freaking dog in heat when
Dylan was around.

“Lead the way, Rookie.” His arm
wrapped around my waist and I threw my empty cup in the large trashcan placed
right outside of the door, declining when Dylan asked if I wanted a refill. I
needed as clear of a head as I could get when he was around and alcohol
wouldn’t help the situation.

I didn’t spot Kitty when we walked
back in and I figured that was for the best. If she saw me with Dylan, I knew I
would get the third degree from her, and I really had no clue what was going on
between the two of us.

His fingers grasped my hips as he
pulled my body against his and then twisted it around so my back was against
his front. He moved one arm to twist around his neck and leaned in to nip at my
ear as our hips moved to the music. I squeezed my eyes shut, trying to calm my
body down, but it wouldn’t listen. He continued to trail his lips down my neck,
darting his tongue out as he went, and I did nothing to stop it. I couldn’t.

My eyes popped open when I heard a
loud voice and felt a wetness streaming down the front of my dress. The dress
that totally wasn’t mine and I’m sure would cover half of my tuition. Kitty was
going to kill me. The familiar looking perpetrator held an empty cup and ran a
hand over the front of my dress to try to wipe away the liquid that was clearly
some kind of sticky alcohol. Great.

“Get your fucking hands off of her
now, Dean,” Dylan bit out, moving to stand in front of me and shoving into
Dean’s chest, causing his hands to fall off the front of my dress where they
had seemed to be lingering. Oh yes, I remembered Dean. The asshole from the
football game.

“Sorry dude, total accident.” His
cocky smirk told otherwise and Dylan’s face started to turn red as he shoved
him into the wall. “Right, an accident. Believable story.” I saw Dylan’s fist
clench at his sides and he kept flicking his gaze between Dean and I. “Just get
the fuck out of my sight and I better not see you near her again.

Dylan rejoined my side and placed
his hand at the small of my back. “C’mon, I’ll find you something dry to change
into.” He led me up the stairs to the second floor and pulled out a key to
unlock the door at the end of the hallway, before ushering me and locking the
door behind us. “Um, are you kidnapping me or something?”

“Ha, not yet,” he barked out,
walking across the wide room to pull open the door on a walk- in closet. He
stepped back out after shuffling through the hangers and tossed a shirt at me.
“I just have to keep it locked or people would be up here hooking up. I don’t
have anything expensive in here, but I don’t want people touching my shit.”

I gave a slight nod as my eyes took
in his room that had his personality all over it. Mementos from baseball teams
he had played on were hung all over the walls. Picture frames were lined up in
rows all over the top of his dresser and computer table, most of them including
the Chapmans. They really were like family to him.

I held out the t-shirt that he had
thrown at me and saw that it was an old baseball shirt with his last name in
block lettering across the back. I snorted as I remembered the promise I had
made him and he looked at me with amusement in his chocolate brown eyes. “See,
I knew I could get you into something with my name on it.”

“Very funny,” I waved him away with
my hand while reaching around to undo the zipper on the side of the dress. Of
course, his feet remained in place, not moving an inch. “Dylan, please just
turn around.”

He finally turned around
reluctantly with a loud huff, and I quickly shimmied out of the dress with my
back to him, knowing he wouldn’t stay that way for long.

“You are so beautiful.” His lips
were on my shoulder while his hands wrapped around my waist, leaving me
standing only in my see through black panties and bra. Kitty had dragged me to
a lingerie store when she thought things with Ben and I was starting to get hot
and heavy, insisting I needed something sexy. I felt ridiculous, not sexy.

“Dylan, this is wrong, we both
have…” He interrupted me by spinning me around, his brown eyes boring into me
with a deep intensity. “I don’t, not anymore. You can’t deny this attraction
between the two of us, Paige. Stop trying to fight it.” His lips were on mine
in an instant, backing me up until my knees hit the edge of the bed and landing
on top of me.

His dimples appeared as a wide
smile stretched across his face. “See? It’s not so bad. Now I got you right
where I want you.” His hands moved to the back of my thighs and brought my legs
up to wrap around his waist, dipping his head down to meet mine.

“You are so beautiful,” he repeated
again, studying my face before he gently touched my lips with his. “You too.” I
felt his smile against my lips and the he nudged my mouth open with his tongue.
I was only telling the truth. His brown eyes were twinkling and his hair a
mess, just how I liked it. His strong jaw was covered with light stubble that
brushed against me. He was still fully clothed, but I knew that what was underneath
was just as beautiful.

His tongue curled with mine and our
lips seem to move in sync as we familiarized ourselves with each other again. I
swear he tasted exactly like that pink bubble gum chew. I had bought several
packs of it since the night we first kissed.

His hands moved down to my bra
without breaking his lips from mine. And just to make sure I was lying completely
naked, his thumb slid into the elastic of my panties and pushed them quickly
down my legs. I pushed on his chest lightly and he gave me a quizzical look,
thinking I was trying to put a stop to this. But there was no stopping this,
nothing else, no one else, was on my mind right now besides Dylan Turner.

I pulled at the hem of his shirt
and his look of confusion was replaced with a cocky smirk as he helped me
along. “Oh I get it, you can’t wait to see what’s underneath all of this?” He
motioned to his body and stood up on his knees as I helped him with his jeans
and pulled on the band of his boxers.

“Ugh, Paige,” he groaned out,
briefly squeezing his eyes shut. “Are you sure you want to take things
that
far?”
He searched my face with his eyes and I give him a nod of my head. “I need to
hear you say it, Paige.”

Of course he had to make things
difficult, always demanding and in control. “Yes, Dylan I’m sure,” I whispered
out and his serious look was replaced with a smirk once again. “Good. ’Cause once
these come off, there’s no going back.” His boxers joined the rest of our
discarded clothes on the floor and the mood turned serious once again as he
cupped one of my breasts.

His lips found mine again, making
me breathless with the intensity. His fingers trailed down my stomach to land
between my legs and he started to explore, slowly thrusting in. I let out a low
moan when he made contact and his pace quickened. “You like that baby?” I moaned
in response and he sped up even more, sending me in to complete overdrive.

My hips arched off the bed into
his hardness and he pressed his weight down to grind against me. His knee wedged
my legs apart and he sunk down, slowly filling me up. The pain was quick and
brief, just causing a stinging sensation, while he froze above me to let my
body adapt.

After watching my face intently, he
completely lowered his body down to mine, thrusting and groaning into my ear.
Our tempo grew stronger and stronger as the silent room was filled with pants
and the slapping of our bare skin.

I thrashed my head back and forth,
surprised at the sounds coming out of me when the feelings flowing through me
grew even more intense when he lowered his head back down to my breasts,
swirling around each nipple with his warm mouth. His mouth let go with a pop, whispering
out in a husky voice, “Not gonna last much longer baby, you feel so good.”

His pace increased and I wrapped my
legs around his waist to bring him closer. I felt like I was on a rollercoaster
and I never wanted the ride to end. I called out his name as the feelings
running through me exploded and his movements got jerkier before Dylan
collapsed over me.

“Wow,” I panted out, staring at the
white ceiling while running my fingers through his hair. His head was buried in
my chest and I could feel his quick heartbeats thumping against me. “Yeah,
wow.” His head lifted and his eyes locked with mine. “That was amazing.”

A single finger trailed lightly
across my cheek before he rolled to the side, making me miss the feeling of his
body against mine. I thought that maybe he was getting up to leave or maybe he
was hinting for me to. I wasn’t sure and an awkward feeling crept into my
chest, not knowing how to handle the situation.

He slightly sat up and glanced
over at the digital alarm clock on his dresser, which I took as my cue to
leave. “Whoa, whoa where do you think you’re going?” He halted my body from
making any further movement and pulled me down, covering us with the thick
black comforter, and wrapping his warm body around mine.

“Did you really think I would let
you leave after that?” He lightly grazed my shoulder with his teeth and the
shivers were already running through me again. “You’re probably going to get
sick of me real quick, because I’m not letting you go anywhere.”

Chapter
12

Paige

I woke up early the next morning,
interrupted from the warmth of Dylans body wrapped around mine, by the sound of
my phone repeatedly buzzing. I stared down at him, taking in each feature on
his face that looked almost angelic when he was asleep. What he did to me last
night was anything but angelic. And what he did a few hours later was pure
evil, but I enjoyed every second of it. Nothing compared to what that boy could
do with his tongue.

I pulled back his arm that was
snuggly wrapped around my waist, and when that didn’t wake him, I proceeded to
remove his leg that was twisted with mine. He snuggled up closer to my empty
pillow and I carefully maneuvered over him to scoop up my phone.
Five missed
calls and eight new text messages.

I quickly scrolled through them,
seeing that they were all from either Kitty or Ben. The guilt washed over me as
what I did sank in. I had just done the same thing to Ben that his ex had done
to him. What kind of person does that? I know our relationship wasn’t that
serious, but I should have at least considered his feelings. I just had to end
things, what he didn’t know, wouldn’t hurt him. And I couldn’t go on pretending
with him anyway. What I felt for Ben was multiplied by…infinity when it came to
Dylan.

I felt an arm wrap around my waist
from behind and my body was pulled back down to the bed. “What’s the matter, Sparky?”
he murmured out, his eyes still half closed and filled with sleep. He placed a
gentle kiss on my forehead and I couldn’t help but snuggle closer into his
body.

“I feel like a whore,” I mumbled
into his chest. I felt his arms tighten around me and he pulled us both up into
a sitting position. “What? Why?” His eyes searched mine and I really wasn’t
sure how to respond, so he didn’t wait for me to.

“What we had, what we have, is like
nothing I’ve ever experienced before. There’s this pull between us that’s so
electric, I know you can feel it too. We might have started things off ass
backwards, but I want things to work between us. You just have to take the risk
Paige, that’s all I’m asking.” His brown eyes seemed to grow deeper as he
waited for my answer and I couldn’t take it.
