“Yes, a wooden door, and probably guards outside of that.”

“You break the door, I will get the guards.”

“And how will I do that, they made this cell very short, I can’t run through it.”

“No, well then we are screwed.”

“You said it.”  Slade went an opposite side of the room away from Zach.  He wanted to find an escape, an escape that could at least free Zach.

Again another silence took fourth until the night fell this time.  Slade stared out the window as Zach stared blankly at the wall in front of him.

“Slade,” Zach broke his concentration on the wall, his face tired as if he was thinking of something.

“Yeah”

“Do you remember being locked up in a cage, back when we were soldiers?”

“Yeah, I still have nightmares of that night,” It hit Slade like a ton of bricks.  “Shit, you just had a flashback didn’t you?  I thought you were just staring at the wall.”

“Yeah, they haunt me bad; they made me kill that mother and infant, but remember how we escaped.  You did a weird mental thing, and you saw an escape.  You knew exactly what and when to do things, and we escaped before you had to kill somebody that was innocent.”

“It has to be hard for you.”

“Yeah, that is probably why I accepted to come with you, to save innocent lives, but now you need to go back to that trance.”

“I don’t know if I can, I haven’t practiced mediating that deeply for a long while.”  He thought back to the tent and figured it was just the luck of the draw.

“You can do it, I know you can, you had to use it I figure when you escaped the Sanctum didn’t you?”

“Yes, but that was different, I didn’t want to kill anymore, remember the way you felt when you broke the kids neck with a gun pointed to your head.”  Slade took a breath, “well I had to do it to an entire race.”

“Well no wonder they hate you,” he tried to soften his tone both of them becoming red as they remembered what they did, the horrible act.  “It doesn’t matter, you made the escape, and I know you can do it again, we need to get out to save them from the Secret Sanctum.  How much longer do you think they can hide this island, the Sanctum is coming, and not only one species will be killed but everything that isn’t human?”

Slade thought about his past, the present, and the future.  He could see the island in death, the green destroyed by man, buildings put up everywhere.  They would find a way to kill the dragons; they would find a way to destroy this land.  Man was too curious to leave the devil’s triangle alone.  Deep inside him, he wanted to call this home.  He wanted to feel the sand heat his feet up.  He needed the warm water to take the pain of years away from him.  Damnit if this was going to be his home, he wasn’t going to let this prison hold him from it.

“Okay but if the guards come in; you need to wake me up anyway possibly.”  Slade turned his head scanning the room, trying to remember everything.

“Don’t worry; I don’t think they will be coming anytime soon.”

“He says don’t worry, don’t worry, I can be stabbed to death and not know it until it was too late.”

“We don’t have time Slade to wait till morning, if I am thinking right, they will have new guards by then, and their weakness will be when they are rotating.”

Slade learned of a way to check the surroundings in a way that brought his entire brain into the process.  Something that man is unable to do, but he was trained by his father and he had complete control of his brain.  The trick was it had to be the one thing that he wanted the most that was why it worked before during the prison escape.  He would lose his conscious mind and be brought into in his subconscious.  He wasn’t sure if it was going to work, for he wanted to escape, but from what, right now he was safe from the Sanctum.  So what if they were locked in a prison, they were safe, something Slade had never experienced.

Zach positioned himself between Slade and the only entrance there was.  Slade closed his eyes and started to rest his brain just as he did to meet his ancestor.  He concentrated first on picturing every muscle in his body relaxing and then a light bulb on his head.  It had a string under it, and he knew once that he pulled the string he would be physically useless on protecting Zach.  This was to protect Zach though he reminded himself as he reached for the string.  He took a breath and pulled the string.

A set of steps appeared in the darkness.  He knew that the steps would lead him into compartment s that would make him able to see the escape.  All he would have to do is open the door go down a hall and open another door that had an office in it.

The office would be special though, he would see images in front of him, and he would be able to control them with his mind.  He could zoom in or freeze certain images.  He had a key board floating by him to type anything, which for him was the only way to remember it out of his subconscious.  The office itself was remarkable also though; it always had grass and sand, the waves hitting the stones by a cliff.  The fresh scent after a rainfall would ease him even more to keep him in this imaginary land.  All he would have to do was walk down the steps and open the door.

He was on the top of ten steps and he started to take one-step at a time.  The subconscious was not to be hurried.  He kept his slow place step by step until he reached the bottom where a door appeared.  He studied the door for a few minutes, his subconscious making him look at the steps again to leave.  “No I need to open the door.”  He looked at the door again this time grabbing the handle, but something tingled in him this time.  The handle didn’t want to move, it was as if it was locked from him.  He tried to turn the handle but it didn’t fudge, it started to get warm, and then burning.  Slade needed to get control again so as loud as he could he yelled, “Open,” and the door gave way.  His body entered the imaginary hallway his body taking up most of the entrance.

The hallway was different thought, something was wrong.  Then out of a room came a surprise.  The queen stood there in as much shock as Slade was, both staring at each other.

She wore a white dress that was almost see through that covered her entire body.  Her hair was down hovering over her breast.  The dress flowed from her to ground like a cloud.  The sleeves stopped by her wrist and elbow by gold bands.  The dress was tied in the front making Slade wonder if maybe the dragon had a girl side to her.

“Human guardian, how dare you enter my mind,” Slade stared at her confused, how did he end up in her mind, he was trying to find an escape route not the queen.

“Sorry, I didn’t know I could enter another one’s mind by this technique.”

“You foolish human, the mind is the strongest thing out there; it is how some of us speak to each other.  Most humans though are unable to reach this far, so how human, how did you reach my mind.”

Slade was speechless, he watched as the moving air that for some reason came and blew at her dress.  He had a feeling that he wasn’t sure existed, he never wanted to rip clothes off somebody this bad.  His mind raced through thoughts of her power, power Slade wanted to make his own.  He wanted to feel her power surge between his legs, he wanted to make her beg him to stop in pleasure, make the fiercest apex predator known to mankind beg for his manliness to stop.  He wouldn’t though; he would just roll her over and taste her, taste the fire that flowed from her.

“I don’t ask twice human,” Slade was lost in thinking about her in that way.  He hoped it was one of those thoughts that stayed locked away from Phoenix seeing it.

“I really don’t know,” Phoenix’s eyes intense, bringing a color rich in lust.  Slade now knew she wanted more than an answer.

“You have invaded my most personal depths and you act like a fool.”  She edged closer to Slade, The heat of her body teasing Slade’s now hard erection.”

It was as if she knew right there and then that he didn’t want questions, he wanted an answer for his enlargement.  She started to walk around him, her finger edging around his body, making his skin go to goose bumps.  She stopped behind him, smelling his neck.  “Why human do you smell like a dragon in heat?”  She said it in such a soft whisper Slade couldn’t stop his mind from melting his coat off his body.

“Queen would you control yourself?”  Slade said it hoping to offend or at least get the dragon to give him room to breathe different air.  Her scent was an intoxication making his mind do tricks with his clothes, for now his feet were bare.

“No guardian, your mind is causing this,” she backed away, but her shirt was starting to melt from the sleeves.  Her skin starting to reveal itself with a perfect tan, “If you don’t stop, I will engulf you in flames like you have done to me,” she was literally smoking.

A fireball formed in her hand, that for some reason made Slade feel even more lost in his need for her.  Flames grew closer to her shoulders her dress almost ready to fall as she flew a fireball at Slade.  Slade still stunned didn’t move as the flames engulfed his body.  He stared at her with confusion, as the flames didn’t burn.

He could feel his clothes burning off, “If you wanted me naked, you didn’t have to burn it off.”  Slade couldn’t believe he just said that.  Now he was sure going crazy, for why would he want a dragon, he was human, not dragon.

“Stop it, you will not see me naked, your dragon smells will not entice me.”

“I am human not dragon, you have to be smelling yourself.”

She was cut off from saying something when the dress finally gave way.  It fell to her side, and she just stood there.

“The punishment for seeing the queen nude is hanging.”  She screamed.

“Oh, shut up,” Slade was then cut off as he noticed his clothes were now too burnt off.  “The punishment for seeing a guardian naked is death, you bitch.”  Slade then ran towards her.  Phoenix didn’t hesitate and charged at him now.

They collided, the queen’s claws slashing and clawing at Slade, Slade not paying attention to the claws swung at her.  They punched, kicked, and jumped on each other.  They started to roll on the floor still trying to kill each other for seeing each other naked.  Then Slade’s hard erection rubbed against her clit, and he could feel her heat rising.  The need grew as their bodies rose in temperature.

Slade continued Phoenix’s momentum and he rolled her over on her back.  Time seemed to freeze as their eyes met, her claws stopped and moved to the back of his head.  He swooped his mouth down catching her mouth with the most heated kiss he ever felt.  His lips making her lips open in a moan, her hands now rubbing down his spine making him moan in response.  Without warning, she flipped them over so she was on top, his growth rubbing her, pounding to go in.  Her mouth came down for a kiss her tongue sliding into his mouth.  It first felt wrong, then it felt incredible, and erotic all at once.  Apparently, her tongue didn’t change, as he could feel the barb ends that felt more like two tongue rings.  Two tongues battled for control until she pulled away reaching between her legs.

Slade’s head came up for a nipple on her perfect breast that made her moan as she started to stroke Slade’s penis.  He could feel his release growing and he didn’t want the release yet.  He flipped her over on cold hard floor below them.  His face now was shoved to her breast sucking at a nipple making it hard like a pebble.  He then went for the other nipple and sucked at that one making it like its twin.  He kissed and suckled at each, his hands reaching for her enjoyment.

She moaned in pleasure as his fingers rubbed her nub.  He stuck a finger inside her and went in and out making her beg for more.  He could feel the throbbing of his shaft and he wanted to feel her heat no matter how close he was already.  He had to enter her.  Slade moaned as he adjusted the tip of shaft just over her wet slit.  He was about to enter and make her beg when water hit his face.

His body shook and he was dragged off the dragon’s perfect body.  He tried to fight it so he could make her know how strong he was inside her.  Zach was trying to wake him.  He was dragged across the hard floor, Phoenix growled for him to come back but it was too late he was on the steps and leaving both of their minds.

It took a couple of blinks and water reaching his eyes to get him to fully awake, Zach yelling and shaking Slade to wake.

“Fucker, wake up” another splash hit his face and Slade was fully awake along with his member.  Slade stared for a while at Zach stuck between thanking him for stopping him from fucking a dragon, the queen or ready to kill him for interrupting the best sex he ever had.  Surely, there were rules against guardians fucking other species.  He wasn’t sure but he would be hung for fucking the queen.  It would be wrong it would be hot.

“You alright, you were really gone for awhile, what did you see?”

“Trouble,” Slade just stared at him, “I mean I couldn’t find an escape.”

Something tickled his mind begging him to come back.
No,
he said back to his mind.  He now knew of the islands secret weapon.  He knew of the weapon that would help him destroy them.  The only problem was he wanted to protect the weapon; he wanted to subdue the weapon.  Another weapon would have to be found, he wouldn’t use Phoenix for that kind of gain.

They both looked at each other before they could hear the tower door open.  Zach went quickly back to the other side of the prison cell.

“Brother, you don’t need to follow me,” Phoenix voice echoed up.  Slade took a deep breath; Zach stared at him probably wondering why Slade looked so nervous.  For a second he wondered if he should tell Zach they were going to be hung.
