GRAEME UNCAGED: Part One (Taming the Billionaire Book 2) (14 page)

Glen smiled smugly. No, it didn’t hurt at all.

Legal produced the new contract.

“I’m assuming that this is the same as the contract we negotiated for the post of Vice-Chairman of the Browning Banking Group?” Glen commented as he skimmed the section that interested him most, his remuneration.

“Your remuneration is identical, Glen. Of course the duties and responsibilities are for the Browning Banco Madriata Velazquez, as it will be renamed, not for the Browning Banking Group,” said Graeme.

By two forty-five, Glen had reviewed it and signed it unchanged.

Glen would become the new President of Browning Banco Madriata Velazquez on January first and hold the post for three years. He didn’t bother to read the fine print.

If he had, Glen would have discovered he had no authority to sell off any real estate holdings, and there were a couple of interestingly worded  clauses that gave Graeme the right to terminate the contract at any time, should he so desire, with a Million Euro Compensation only.

Glen declined their offer of a celebration dinner, posed for pictures at the hastily-arranged press conference, which also announced Michael Wilde as the New Vice-Chairman, again an event that Glen brushed off and didn’t consider had to have been prearranged… and was on a five o’clock flight to Geneva.

While Glen waited to board his plane, he called Domaine De Chateauvieux just outside Geneva and booked the wine cellar with the single table set for two.

Then he called Francine.

“’Allo?”

Glen thought, not for the first time, that Francine’s French accent was delectable.

“I want you to put your red cocktail dress on and meet me at the airport in two hours. I’ll have a limo pick you up.” His tone was brisk.

Francine smiled to herself. Her Dom was on his way home.

“Of course, Sir. Do you prefer me naked under the red silk dress?”

“No, you can wear that red lace set I paid the earth for in Paris last week. I enjoy taking it off...”

“As you wish, Glen.”

Glen hung up without saying another word.

Francine’s thong became wet with anticipation.

Soon…soon…he’d be here, and soon…soon…they’d be living in London.

London.

London, where she’d constantly be in Graeme’s view. It wouldn’t take her long to break up his marriage, not at all…
