“You may be the weirdest
nineteen year old I’ve ever met.” But his words charm me and I know he’s serious. He’s always serious, which is why this works between us.

We fall quiet, distracted by the headboard banging into the wall. In a quiet voice
, I say, “I wonder if Finley’s giving him head. You know she refuses to swallow.”

“I’m sure Ryan doesn’t care.”

“What? Don’t even pretend guys don’t want that.”

“We like our dic
ks wrapped in warm and wet, that’s all that matters.”

I reach over and stroke his cock through his boxers.
It’s not hard but I’ve definitely got its attention. “Do you remember the first blow job I gave you?”

He smiles. “Duh, it was on our first date.”

“I’m such a tramp.”

“Thank God for that.”

I caress him again and he rises to my touch, straining against the fabric. I shift his dick and release him through the front flap. It bobs up and down against his belly like a tightly coiled spring. “What were you thinking during all that?”

“Honestly?” he asks, watching my every move. “You weren’t we
aring a bra under that sundress and I could see your nipples. I was terrified someone would walk in and you’d leave. Those were the only things I could think about.”

“Really?”

“Nipples are very appealing. Of course, I did shift gears once you put my dick in your mouth. Then I stopped thinking entirely.”

I’ve moved closer, petting and stroking his dick. It’s smooth and hard.
Velvet, with a sticky dot of cum at the very top. I slide my finger through the fluid and rub it around the tip. Carter’s ab muscles flinch and flex and he takes a deep breath through his nose.

“I was quite sure I was going t
o hell,” I confess.

He brushes his fingers through my hair and I
bend over, licking the tip. He tastes salty and clean and I keep my eyes open so I can watch his face while he enjoys himself.

I’ve got his balls in my hand when we hear the grunts and cries from the roo
m next to ours and we both giggle at the sound of our friend’s pleasure. “Why is that so funny?” I ask rhetorically.

“I have no idea.”

I get back to work, sucking and teasing, until Carter’s hands twist in my hair and his thrusts into my mouth grow determined. He’s shaking, about to come and I prepare myself for the onslaught, but he jerks himself out and flips me on my back. With two feet on the ground, he positions my legs over his shoulder and buries himself deep.

He stands over me for a moment
with hair falling in his eyes and sighs, as though having his dick inside me is the best feeling in the word.

We hold eye contact and he moves in and out, slowly at first but the
n harder and I realize he’s right.

Having his dick inside me
is
the best feeling in the world.

Chapter 11

The week passes quickly and we enjoy the cool days and freezing nights on the beach. Sex warms us up
, but so do cups of hot chocolate, late night card games and movies with Finley and Ryan.  It’s decidedly grown up.

“Toss that wood on the pile,” Ryan says, dropping an armful of kindling on the sand.
After a dinner of grilled fish and lots of cocktails, the guys made a small bonfire on the beach to watch the fireworks.

Carter throws his
bundle of firewood down and eases to the ground, placing his legs on both sides of me. I adjust the blanket, giving him more. He pulls me into his chest, brushing the skin on my lower back with his hands.

Cold! Cold!” I shout, when I feel how icy they are. He laughs and tries to shove them further beneath my shirt for warmth. “Stop it, Mister. I’m not your personal heater.”

“I ventured into the cold night to get firewood. You owe me something.”
He licks my earlobe and I know what payment he’s hoping for.

“You wish,” I say, but I take his hands in
to my gloved ones and do my best to warm them up. “What time is it?”

We have fifteen minutes before midnight, but the fireworks will start in a couple minutes. They like to do the grand finale when the clock strikes twelve,” Finley says, appearing with two bottles of champagne.  She places them both in the sand. The night air is cold enough to keep them chilled without a cooler.

The fire crackles and pops, and we’re idiots to sit out here in the cold, bundled in hats and scar
ves.  There’s a gazillion stars above us and being close to Carter like this is so comfortable. I like it. Even we wouldn’t take off our clothes in this kind of weather.

“So,” Ca
rter says, clearing his throat. “I just want to thank you guys for inviting us here. It’s been really nice.”

“Yes,” I agree. “Perfect. Thank you, Ryan.”

“We’re glad you two could come,” he says, tossing a shell into the fire. Finley leans into his side.

“We’re also glad you two
didn’t fight the whole time,” she adds.

“We don’t fight that much.”

“True, but when you do, you make everyone miserable.” Her eyes shine in the firelight. “So when do you take Carter back to your parents to introduce them for real?”

“We’re going from here.”

“Nervous?” she asks Carter.

“Nope.”

“My parents love him.”

“Of course they do. Who doesn’t? He’s very handsome and smart,” she winks at Ryan.

“Okay, that’s enough,” Carter says, wrapping his arms around my chest, holding me tight. We hear the first pops and squeals down the beach and our attention is diverted from picking on Carter to the fireworks.

“Oh, pretty,” I say at a large red star burst. The explosions are l
oud, echoing off the shore. I feel Carter’s lips press into my neck.

“Happy New Year,” he whispers
.

I lean my head into his che
st. “You too, babe.”

He tugs at my gloves, slipping them off
one at a time, just as the grand finale starts and the sky catches fire. Between the roar of the ocean and the fireworks I barely notice when he separates my ring finger from the rest and slips a circle of warm metal down my finger.

“Okay?” he asks.

I hold it in the air, my skin shocked by the cold. The familiar woven flower pattern glints in the firelight. My heart skips at words I know are etched inside.
Mine
.

“Yes,” I say. “I won’t flake out again. I’m in.”

“I know.”

“I’m yours.”

He tilts my head to the side, kissing my lips. A loud pop and shout from Finley breaks us apart. I look up to see her holding an open bottle of champagne, bubbles running down the side.

“Happy New Year, girl,” she laughs, t
aking a swig straight from the bottle.

Carter pops the second cork and he graces me with an amazing, beautiful smile. He offers me the first sip from the bottle. I take a gulp and the bubbly fizz burns my nose.

I pause for a minute and wonder, h
ow could I have said no to this man, considered letting him go, even for a second?

I reach for his mouth and pull him down for a kiss.
It would never happen again.
