Housewife Chronicles Volume 1 : Reignited (Erotic romance) (6 page)

When we were finally able to move,
he rolled me over to face him. His eyes filled with worry as they fell upon the
wet streaks down my cheeks. “Oh, Shay, I hurt you. I was afraid I was going too
hard. I’m so sorry…”

“No,” I said softly and with a
gentle smile. “You were incredible. It was so good I couldn’t contain my
emotions. They’re happy tears.”

His look softened and he wiped my
face dry. “Well, that’s okay then. I just want to make you happy. I’m glad you
liked it.”

“And you?”

“Absolutely. I swear, the things
you do to me.” His eyes were twinkling, and he winked at me. “I think you damn
near dehydrated me though.”

I laughed at him, rolling my eyes.
“You did not just say that.”

“What? I’m serious. I’m gonna get
some water. You want some?”

“Sure, sounds good.” He stood up
and faced the other room. I couldn’t help smacking his butt as he was walking
away. He stopped, shook it at me, and went about his way. I laughed again, then
crawled up the bed to lay my head on my pillow. Suddenly I was very tired.

I woke up in the middle of the
night, my brain buzzing. The memories of the last few weeks were flooding my
mind. I couldn’t believe it had been such a short amount of time since that
conversation in the laundry room. We were different people now. We had branched
out and realized what we had been missing out on all those years together, and
I knew we would never look back. We had discovered we were capable of bringing
each other to amazing, mind-blowing heights of pleasure. And I knew this was
only the beginning. We had a lifetime of discovery ahead of us. Things had
become so incredible in just the past three weeks. What would it be like in the
next weeks? Months? Years? I couldn’t wait to find out.
