Chapter Thirty Two

The moment their flight deplaned in Punta Cana Felicia, was in love. The Dominican Republic was beautiful. Clear blue skies. Warm winds, beautiful plants, trees and flowers. All in vibrant shades of pink, blue and yellow. She just stood, staring in amazement, physically turning in a circle. She would have felt like a country bumpkin if all the other first timers there weren’t having the same reactions.

Harrison of course was great the whole time. He didn’t tell her to hurry up and get on the bus that would shuttle them to the airport building so they could go through customs. He let Felicia take her time and get her fill of the beautiful country they were in. He’s been fortunate enough in life to where he’s travelled overseas many times over. But he knew and understood this was a first for her.

“So you think you can get with travelling out of the country?” Harrison asked as he wheeled her carryon bag and carried his duffle as they made their way to the shuttle. Felicia turned to Harrison gracing him with her gorgeous smile.

“Hell yeah! I don’t know what took me so long.” She told him as they shared a laugh. Felicia hooked her arm around Harrison’s waist and walked in unison with him. She was excited to see what this trip would bring. Clearing customs wasn’t as bad as Felicia had thought it would be. The most inconvenient part about going through customs was the lack of air-conditioning. But the beauty and ambiance of the open airport and ceiling fans with blades shaped like leaves made up for it.

Forty-five minutes later they were pulling into their resort, The Majestic Grand Colonial. If Felicia was awed by the architecture of the airport she was blown away by the hotel’s grand lobby. It also was done in an open concept. There were no doors or windows. Just archways and spaces where the windows and doors would be. The floors were made of marble, and the woodwork! Dark cherry wood was everywhere. Felicia was in heaven.

They were escorted past the front desk back to a private lounge area where they were seated and handed cool hand cloths to cool down. While their personal butler Osiris worked on getting them checked in, they were doted on hand and foot by everyone else. Felicia sat sipping champagne, eating hors devours and looking around not wanting to miss anything.

Harrison was seated next to her, cool calm and collected. He’d acquired the internet information and was setting their phones up on the Wi-Fi system.

“Before we left I installed an app on the girls’ phone so they’ll be able to text you whenever they want. It’s an internet based app so we won’t get charged roaming and other fees for using it.” He explained showing Felicia the app he’d just installed on her phone. Leaning over the armrest, Felicia stroked his face with her palm and gave him a tender kiss. Much to Harrison’s great pleasure, she was now very comfortable with public displays of affection.

“I love you so much. You spoil us all to no end.” Felecia told him as she sat back in her chair.

“I just hate that you think what I’ve done so far is spoiling when all I’m doing is looking after my girls. Imagine how you’re going to feel when I really start spoiling my lady loves.” All Felicia could do was roll her eyes at that and shake her head at him. This was the only source of contention between Harrison and herself. He loved to do things for them, not to gain brownie points or win Dana and Elena over. They were already eating out of the palm of his hand. But because he was a man. And as a man he was raised to be a provider for his. They were his. There was nothing he wouldn’t do for them or provide for them. Even if Felicia felt it was too much.

As he’d hated to point out to her during the long and lengthy discussion she had forced them to have, ‘The only reason you feel I’m doing too much is because you’re used to being with a man that did nothing. And that’s not me. I’m not David Foster, I’m Harrison Kincaid.’ After that Felicia had pretty much let him provide and do for them whatever it was he wanted. It actually made her life easier sometimes. She now had new ways to punish Dana and Elena when needed. Who would have thought simply confiscating an iPad for a week to ten days would have more of an effect on a child than a physical punishment?

After checking them in, Osiris walked them to the club portion of the property where they were staying. It was the adult’s only section. They were given a tour of the clubhouse where hors devours, drinks, water and alcohol were always ready and waiting when needed twenty-four seven. Then they were shown to their room and Felicia was again amazed at the beauty, detail and yes woodwork the developers put into the property. Harrison had reserved a swim up room for them, so their patio opened up and out to the pool and was equipped with a double lounger.

The bar was fully stocked as well as the refrigerator with water and soft drinks. The bathroom was gorgeous. The commode was separately housed from the shower. Both doors were done in a frosted glass. The shower like the commode was done in marble from top to bottom. It wasn’t as big as Harrisons, but it was definitely doable and had a waterfall spout.

The room was of course furnished with a king sized bed, a love seat, coffee table and desk. Harrison was busy getting the lay of the land from Osiris. Felicia walked to the patio doors and pulled back the curtains to expose those who were already enjoying some pool time.

After seeing Osiris out, Harrison turned back and had to pause at the sight before him. Felicia’s physique was illuminated by the light that was pouring in from the glass doors. As if his angel was being drenched with heavenly light. Making his way over to her, he wondered if he could get his little angel to be his naughty little devil before they hit the pool. Hearing his approach Felicia turned to look at him over her shoulder with hooded eyes.

“Don’t do it H…” She warned him before he wrapped his muscled arms around her, hugging her to him from behind.

“Do what?” He innocently asked as he began to nibble on her, travelling from her ear down to where her neck and shoulder connected.

“That,” Felicia told him as she pulled in a sharp breath in reaction to the bite he’d given her and was now kissing the pain away. She was getting wet. And not the way she wanted. She’d never been out of the U.S. she was ready to go out, explore and see what all The Majestic had in store for them.

But maybe she could see what Harrison wanted to show her first. Turning around so she could face him, she gave him a saucily smile and raised her hands up. That was all Harrison needed, he reached down to grab her hips. Felicia hopped up at the same time and he picked her up. Turning away from the window, he carried her to the bed. The only barrier that separated their private intimate show and the party at the pool was the thin sheer curtain Felicia had left in place. Harrison’s focus was only on the woman he was currently devouring with his tongue. He could eat Felicia for hours. Something he had every intention of doing many times over while on vacation.

“What the fuck is that?” Harrison demanded when Felicia stepped out of the bathroom wearing one of her new purchases. Felicia quickly turned around, to see what it was Harrison was talking about. She hated bugs.

“What? Where is it?” She frantically asked looking up down and in front of her.

“That.” He told her pointing at her monokini.

“It’s a swimsuit.” She told him. If it weren’t for the hard on that clearly accompanied the look of astonishment on his face, Felicia would have started to feel self-conscious. The monokini she wore was a flaming burnt orange color. She had her hair piled high on top of her head in a messy bun. Harrison was shirtless with swim trunks on, looking sexy as sin. Felicia fought with herself on wanting to ask him to put his customary tank on. She didn’t want strangers ogling at the tattoos she’d come to feel were for her eyes only.

“That’s missing too much fabric to be a swimsuit.” Felicia walked over to where he stood. She stopped short, just out of his reach and did a three-hundred and sixty degree turn for him. “I know you have something to put over that.” He told her in all seriousness.

Felicia was surprised at Harrisons cave like response. But if she were being completely honest with herself, it turned her on to know her man didn’t want anyone else to see what he knew was his.

“Where’s your shirt?” She asked countering his non subtle demand. That question caught him off guard, causing him to raise a brow. She figured she’d help him out. “Your shirt? You know the thing you put on to cover all that up.” She said using her hands to emphasize her point.

Harrison was tickled. This was a first, Felicia never showed any signs of jealousy. He decided to have a little fun at her expense. “You really want me to put my shirt on? You know we’re going right out to the pool. I won’t be able to wear it in the water.” Felicia took a few seconds to ponder his words before she spoke.

“You’re right sweetie. Let’s just leave the shirt and cover here. Come on.” She told him as she strode to the patio door only to find herself sailing through the air. Felicia shrieked loudly and found herself bouncing up off the mattress and quickly followed back down by Harrison.

“I’ll get my shirt. Get your stuff.”

By the time they made it out to the pool it was approaching three o’clock and they only had a few hours left to enjoy. Luckily for them they had their pick of cabanas to choose from. The Club side of the property housed five private pool and cabana areas. Harrison went to get their complimentary plush beach towels they could exchange anytime and as many times as they wanted. When they were getting the list together on what all they needed to bring, Harrison told her they needed to take two thermos cups with them. Felicia didn’t understand it at the time, but now that she saw the little cups the guests were given at the pool bars it made sense. That would allow them to make fewer trips to the pool bar that stayed packed with guests for refills.

After prepping their cabana they decided to take it to the pool. Felicia pulled off her short sheer gold cover and looked up to see Harrison staring at her. Well more pointedly at all the cleavage her swimsuit put on display. She was in a nuns’ habit compared to some of the ensembles she’d seen just from glancing at the other guests in the pool. Taking out her SPF 100 she began to slather it on her face neck and arms.

Without having to ask, Harrison walked over and took the sunblock from her hands squeezing a nice amount into his, he massaged the lotion onto her shoulders, neck, back. Lower back and even her legs. Standing up, he leaned across the bed and grabbed his SPF 30 sunblock. Felicia held her hand out and Harrison squeezed a nice amount in her palm. Felicia took her time slathering the sunblock across his pecs, abs, arms and back.

Unable to take her diligent ministrations any longer, Harrison tossed the block on the cabana bed. Turned back towards Felicia, bent down low and raised up with a screaming Felicia on his shoulder. He jumped into the pool submerging them in the cool waters.

Felicia quickly stood up in the pool only to come face to face with a boisterously laughing Harrison. Seeing his smiling boyishly face, deflated some of the heat she was feeling from being thrown in the pool. Instead she gave him a long sideways look, subtly putting more and distance between them.

“Now babe. Don’t be mad. You looked so fucking good and hot. I thought you could use a quick cool down.” Harrison tried to explain his actions between his laughter. “Come on LiLi…don’t look at me like that.”

Oh yeah, he knew he was in trouble, Felicia thought to herself as she brought her hands up from underneath the water and shoving with all her might splashed Harrison with the biggest splash she’d pulled off ever in life.

“Aaaargh!” Her retribution celebration was very short lived as Harrison dove beneath the waters in quick pursuit. Felicia tried to scramble quickly away, but her clumsiness reared its ugly head and she fell back. Dunking herself back underwater. This time she was very salty at Harrison for his jubilation at her expense. It was all his fault!

Harrison and Felicia stayed at the pool until it closed for the evening. Felicia was in heaven! The staff was sweet and very helpful. If it even appeared like you needed help with something, they were right there asking what they could do for you. Ready and waiting for your every beck and call. When they returned to their room, they decided to keep it casual and just head out to the steak and grill restaurant located on the beach.

Felicia pulled out a long loose maxi dress and hung it up in the bathroom right outside of the shower hoping to loosen the wrinkles. Once she had the dress setup, she stepped inside the stall and turned the water on to just below scalding. Felicia wasn’t sure if it was from the travel or all the frolicking they were doing in the pool that was the cause of the tenseness in her muscles.

The waterfall showerhead was doing a great job of washing the tenseness away. Felicia leaned her head back under the spray to rinse the chlorine from her hair. She’d had no intention of getting her hair wet just yet. Now she had to think of some way to tame her curls for dinner.

Felicia was just applying conditioner to her hair when Harrison opened the shower door and stepping inside to join her. Harrison could tell from the unenthused look on Felicia’s face he was still in the dog house. He didn’t get what her aversion to getting her hair wet was. Her hair was beautiful, whether she wore it straight or curly. He actually preferred it in its
natural
state as she calls it.
