Victoria had become increasingly more independent with showers and picking out her own clothes, so I had to clarify with her before I proceeded in the area.

"I can do it." She smiled proudly.

"Okay," I smiled. "I'll get a shower while you get ready. Meet me in my room when you are ready?" She nodded and we went our separate ways.

I chose a pair of loose jeans and a light blue flannel button up blouse to slip on for the day. I figured it was easy enough to get in and out of during the dress fitting. Once they were laid out on my bed, I headed to the bathroom and a quick shower to wet my hair.

The warm water felt good and I had only been in the shower for roughly five minutes when I heard my bathroom door click.

"You're finished already?" I called out and tilted my head back, letting the water rinse through my hair. I heard a second click, but no response to my question.

"Victoria, are you in here?" I wiped the water from my eyes.

The rings of the shower curtain made a shrill noise when I pulled it back. My eyes widened.

"What are you doing in here?" I squealed a tad bit too loud. It took a moment to realize Dr. Bishop was standing naked in my bathroom. My breathing caught in my throat at the sight.

Lord almighty he was beautiful.

He half grinned and stepped into the shower. His eyes raked over my shower curtain covered body.

"Do you usually shower with the shower curtain wrapped around you?" A minimal chuckle escaped his lips.

"You need to go." I stated firmly, and still holding the curtain around me. "Victoria will be coming in here when she is finished getting dressed."

He frowned.

"Then I suppose I should make it quick." One eyebrow was cocked as he pulled the curtain away and slipped his hands against my wet skin.

I inhaled sharply as our naked bodies pressed against each other and he pulled us under the spray of warm water. His fingers glided up my spine and into my hair. Suddenly he fisted my hair and pulled my head back so the water was cascading over my body.

He groaned. His right hand traced the water from my neck down between my breasts. He pressed his hips forward. I could feel his hardness against my lower abdomen, causing me to whimper lightly. Then there was suction against my neck. He had begun the magic of his mouth.

I grabbed onto his arms and squeezed his biceps tightly, his wet hair sticking to the side of my face. Too soon, he pulled back and looked at me. With a heavy sigh he spoke.

"If only I had more time." He shook his head and then grabbed my hips, spinning our bodies and pressing my back against the shower wall.

I started to bring my hands up to his chest, but he grabbed my wrists and put them at my sides before dropping to his knees. I struggled to breathe when his nose ran along my abdomen to the inner crease of my thigh. A shiver ran through my body.

"Victoria –"

"Shh…she was just getting into the shower when I walked over here," he cut me off and his tongue slid between my lower lips.

I growled and thrust my hips forward. In a rapid motion his grip on my wrists was released. He pulled my legs so my thighs were resting on his shoulders. His tongue delved inside and I tried to bite back a squeal.

I reached for his hair, but his shackle like hold returned to my wrists. His tongue slid through my folds with a talent I had never experienced. When the flat of his tongue pressed against my clit, my body convulsed and shook, approaching the edge of ecstasy.

After what felt like being dangled forever on that edge, he swiped my clit one more time before my released exploded on his lips. His tongue immediately plunged in while my climax rushed throughout me.

One thigh at a time, he pulled my legs from his shoulders and kissed from my pubic mound, over my stomach, up through the valley of my breasts, his lips trailing up to my mine. The faint taste of passion was still on his lips as we devoured each other. He had finally released my wrists and at once I gripped at his hair. We pulled our lips a part, both of us panting, but our foreheads still pressed together.

"That was…amazing." I blurted.

He chuckled.

"If only I had more time," he repeated.

His hands ran up to my breasts and cupped them. One quick pinch of my nipples and his lips captured mine to silence my throaty moan. He pulled back and I tried to catch the breath he kept stealing.

While I tried to regain rational thinking, Dr. Bishop stepped into the stream of water and began to wash his very well kept body. My eyes traveled from his lean broad shoulders, down his spine, and over his toned ass. I bit my lip while taking all of him in.

Rational thinking finally caught up. Victoria.

"Shit," I panicked and jumped out of the shower. Quickly grabbing a towel and wrapping it around me, I hurried into my room to get dressed.

My hair was dripping down my back and droplets were landing on the floor. I pulled off my towel and wrapped my hair up before grabbing the pair of flesh tone underwear I had picked out for the day. Half bent over and stepping into the underwear, I felt the intensity of him. A small growl sounded from behind me. Quickly I slid my other foot in before pulling them up my body.

"I will have to remember what I will do when I have you in that position," I turned and looked at him, "while I am inside of you." He smirked and leaned against the bathroom door frame.

I felt my cheeks and chest warm at his comment. Turning back to my clothes I hurried to get myself covered.

"I'm ready!" Victoria's voice sounded out.

"Give me a minute to finish putting my shirt on," I shouted back and turned to Dr. Bishop.

Luckily he had already gone back into my bathroom and shut the door. I sighed in relief. Grabbing my hair brush, I met Victoria in my living room. She had on a purple skirt and a black tank top. Her hair was still damp, but she had combed it out and put a purple headband in her hair. Looking down to her feet, I noticed they were bare.

"So, you ready to watch me put on a torture device?" I winked at her and she giggled.

"I bet it will be the most beautiful dress." She looked off dreamily for a moment, but then quickly got serious. "But it won't be more beautiful than Miranda's. The bride has to look the best." She stated matter-of-factly.

"Oh really?" I raised an eyebrow at her.

"Yep, it's the wedding day rule," she smiled. "Hurry up," she whined.

Once my hair was knot-free and I had grabbed my bag from the chair in my room, we headed downstairs. We both slipped on flip flops and got into the car. Our destination was the bridal shop in the downtown shopping district.

Circling the block three times, we finally got a parking spot only one block from the bridal shop. We both ran down the sidewalk, dodging bodies walking the opposite direction and
giggling at each other. Bursting into the bridal shop laughing heartily, Miranda stood from a white and pink floral pattern couch.

"Finally," Miranda exclaimed with a large smile. She engulfed me in a large hug. "It feels like I haven't seen you in forever, and you," she turned to Victoria and pulled her into a hug, "did you grow a foot or what?" Victoria giggled and shook her head. Miranda grabbed my hand and pulled me through a set of heavy, dark red, velvet curtains.

"The dress is in that room, just put it on, and then come out here so we fit it to your body."

"Ay-aye captain," I saluted her before walking into the small dressing room, closing the white door behind me.

On the back of the door hung a light pink, knee length dress, with scalloped neckline, wide shoulder straps, and long satin bow attached directly below the left breast. Pink was not my color.

"Pink, Rand? Really?" I yelled out to her.

"Shut it Sophia and put on the dress," she shouted back.

I slipped out of my clothes and into the dress. There was a pearl choker necklace on the hanger, so I put it on as well. After I was dressed I stepped out of the dressing room.

"Oh, it's so pretty!" Victoria had her hands clamped together and sat bouncing on a white couch.

"It looks great on you and it looks like it fits." Miranda smiled and motioned for me to step up on a small raised portion of the floor.

I stepped up and was engulfed in three reflections of myself. Yes, the dress seemed to fit well, the pink color wasn't as bad as I thought, but I still felt ridiculous in it.

A small tanned skinned woman appeared, quickly prodded and pinched at me and the dress. She inserted a few pins in places before motioning for me to follow her into the dressing room.

Once in the room she shut the door and began to help me out of the dress. Apparently she thought I would dislodge her pins if left to undress on my own. When it was off, she flipped it inside out and put it back on the hanger with a slip of paper. Redressing quickly I stepped out of the room.

"Where's Victoria?" I scanned the room and felt my heart thud rapidly.

"She's trying on her dress." Rand smiled at me smugly.

"You asked her to be in the wedding?" I couldn't fight back the smile now plastered on my face. Miranda nodded. "You just may be her favorite person ever," I laughed and plopped down on the couch next to her.

"No way, that spot is completely reserved for you." Rand bumped shoulders with me. "I have to admit I'm jealous." I looked at her confused. "I had her for three years and she didn't love me the way she does you."

"Rand –"

She cut me off with a smile and a hand on my leg.

"I'm just teasing you. I mean, yeah I'm a little jealous, but I'm happier she has taken so well to you."

"Thanks, I do love that little munchkin." I laughed.

"I know you do." Miranda smiled at me warmly, but with a hint of something I couldn't place. She quickly changed the subject.

"Lucas has been asking about you," she smirked at me, "says you haven't returned his calls."

I groaned.

"I've text him, but he wants to be more than friends." I looked at Rand quickly. "I don't."

She laughed. "I figured as much, but I should warn you that he is in the wedding too."

I shrugged.

"I think I can handle him for the night. Plus I'll have Victoria to keep me preoccupied." I winked at her.

Victoria emerged from her dressing room. She had on a similar shaped gown, but it was a very light green and the satin bow was in the back.

"You look fabulous," I shouted.

"It looks lovely on you," Miranda gushed.

Victoria did a twirl and then danced over to the mirrors. She stood there with the largest grin on her face while the small tanned skin woman once again appeared and pinned the dress.

We finished up at the dress shop and climbed into our car to drive to a small restaurant. After placing our lunch orders we sat around the table talking about the wedding.

"So, what are you going to dance to first?" I sat back into my chair and sipped my lemon water.

"Can you believe we are still undecided?" Miranda shook her head. "We can't agree on a song."

"Okay, well, what food are you serving? That's the most important thing to me." I winked at her.

She chuckled and rattled off a large sit down menu. Then we talked about seating arrangements and the rehearsal. The rehearsal was in three weeks, the wedding in four.

"What about the bachelorette party?" I wiggled my eyebrows at her.

"That would be after the rehearsal, but we won't be getting wild." She gave me a stern look.

"What?" I asked innocently.

"It won't be wild or crazy. Just a sleepover with food, drinks, and movies, I really just need a night to unwind from everything." She sighed heavily.

Our food arrived and we continued talking about the wedding, Miranda talked to Victoria about going back to school, and how her summer vacation went. I cringed, thinking about all of the things that had occurred and the things she could tell Rand about.

So color me surprised when she didn't mention those things at all.

Kisses and hugs went on for a lifetime, none of us really wanting to say goodbye, but Rand needed to get home to Benji and we needed to let her go. A few more goodbye hugs and we went our separate ways. Miranda climbed into a taxi, while Victoria and I walked hand in hand back to the car.

When we walked into the house we were greeted by Connor.

"Well, hello there ladies," he bowed to Victoria.

Victoria curtsied and giggled before she ran into his arms. "Hi Grandpa."

"What did you do today?" He asked, still kneeling down in front of her.

"I get to be in Miranda's wedding," she exclaimed while she bounced on her toes.

Connor stood up.

"That sounds exciting." His gaze shifted to me and a small smile seemed to be fighting at the side of his mouth. "Sophia," he nodded.

"Connor," I nodded back. "How has your day been?"

"Pretty…well, it's been interesting." He quickly turned back to Victoria. "How about we have some ice cream?"
