As they said their vows, Michael promised to love and cherish her till the day he died, but he knew even that wouldn’t be the end of their time together.
He knew his devotion to her would last for all eternity.
His love for her had already transcended the boundaries of life.
The End.
A Note from the Author
Dear Readers,
I hope you enjoyed
Lost Soul
, the conclusion to
The Soulmate Series
.
Writing this series has been an incredible source of pride and joy for me and I am exciting to contemplate what might be next.
You can be sure there are more great stories to come!
You may have noticed a stronger religious theme in this last book.
Obviously, part of that was a strategy to maintain the suspense about Michael’s true nature!
Although my books have not been categorized as Christian fiction, the fact that I am a Christian will always influence my writing to some degree.
Unlike much Christian fiction on the market, though, my books are not squeaky clean.
That is because real people (including Christians) are rarely squeaky clean!
We all do stupid, sinful, sometimes terrible things, and so do my characters.
The beauty of the gospel is that God loves us despite our sin and sent His Son to redeem us from it.
If you haven’t experienced this and want to know more, please don’t hesitate to contact me.
I’ll be happy to tell you about God’s amazing grace.
I tried to give you a glimpse of God’s grace in this story and also a peek into the spiritual realm.
That being said, please understand that this is a work of fiction and I am not a theologian!
The Bible tells us that God has placed angels around us to guide and protect us and that some angels have fallen from grace.
However, I have taken my artistic liberty to create this story and I am in no way implying that real angels are anything like Michael Andrews.
Despite approximately 193 references to angels in the scriptures, there is still a lot of speculation about their true nature.
If you’re curious about what the Bible says about angels, I recommend you read an article like
this one
for a great commentary on who and what angels really are or Google a list of Bible verses that mention them.
Below are a few of my favorites.
Psalms 91:11 “For He will give His angels orders concerning you, to protect you in all your ways.”
Psalms 34:7 “His angel guards those who honor the Lord and rescues them from danger.”
Hebrews 1:14 “All the angels are spirits who serve God and are sent to help those who will receive salvation.”
Blessings,
Kellie
