“Wow, you really have dedicated a lot of time to thinking this through,” she smiled as she fell backward onto the bed, Jared following closely.

“To be fair, it was a long trip to New Jersey, and once I was there, it was pretty boring in the hospital, and also, it's been about the only thing I can think of.”

She was distracted momentarily by the feel of his hands on her skin and the taste of his mouth on hers, but when she had fully recovered her senses, she tried again. “You do make a compelling argument. It is so much better when you're in bed with me.”

“I knew you were a reasonable and very, very, intelligent woman.”

Charisma tugged impatiently at his blue jeans, craving his warmth. “I try.”

“So?”

“So what?” she asked after a moment, temporarily derailed.

“So tell me what you think.”

“Oh, you know, I'm thinking, if you're interested, then, well I might be too, then.”

“So we'll move your things in?” His hands were sliding down the length of her body, and she pushed up against him in frustration.

“Yes, absolutely,” she kissed him again, “but I would really rather be thinking about other things right now.”

He laughed. “Oh really, what other things?”

“You. Mostly just you.”

Their banter settled into the gentle sound of kisses and the sound of skin brushing skin and they found they hadn't needed all those words after all.
