Start the three cord braid by moving two cords to the right
and leave one cord on the left.

A cord from either edge, or side, will be placed on top in
an alternating pattern. The cord on the right is placed over the middle cord.

 

The cord on the left is placed over the middle cord and the
knot is tightened.

 

Continue this alternating pattern until the desired length
is reached.

 

 

 

Forceps are used to keep the knot from loosening.
