With one hand she brought the tip of the dildo to his hole, clutching his flank with the other. His whole body stilled and she glanced at Drew. He gave her an encouraging nod and she pushed forward. She could feel the hardness of the cock fighting against the pressure of Toby’s muscles, eased by the slickness of the lube. Could practically feel the pop of the head as it breached the ring of his anus and settled inside. She didn’t realize she was holding her breath until she had to gasp in air.

She released the dildo and grabbed tightly to Toby’s hip, sure her fingers would leave impressions in his skin. Another flick of her gaze to Drew’s for reassurance and she brought all of her attention to watching the blue cock slide slowly but surely into the eager hole.

Toby moaned and her fingers clenched even tighter. She moved her feet, bent her knees just slightly, and pushed forward with her pelvis until her thighs met his. A long sigh escaped her. The pleasure was so much more than the press of the strap-on against her clit, although that helped. It was the vision of Toby’s body opening for her, straining for her. The sound of his mouth on Drew, the grunts and moans that both of them gave. It was the way he made tiny movements of his body, pushing back the little bit that he was able, reaching for her, needing her to move in him, to fuck him.

She pulled back, set up a careful, easy rhythm, letting him match her with his movements on Drew as the other man’s breathing grew sharper. Confident now, she let go with one hand, managed to spank him in time with her thrusts a couple of times. His answering moans apparently had an effect on Drew, who gave a short shout as he released into Toby’s mouth. She watched Drew’s face. His hands were tangled in Toby’s hair, his head dropped forward, hair matted along his forehead. He probably wouldn’t appreciate hearing it, but she thought he truly looked beautiful. And sexy as hell. Even with her fake cock buried in another man’s ass, she couldn’t help but feel excitement knowing that he would turn his attentions to her soon enough.

In the meantime, she’d do her very best to bring herself and Toby as much pleasure as she was capable of. She waited until Drew gave her a tiny nod, then increased her tempo. Toby made needy sounds and she reached under him and grasped his cock.

Her coordination wasn’t perfect and there was no way she was going to be able to make herself come as well, but that was the least of her concerns at the moment. She rubbed her thumb over the head of his penis and his whole body shuddered. She smiled and repeated the action, giving her hips an extra swirl.

He buried his face in Drew’s lap and gave a soft moan as he came. She waited until his thighs began to relax their tightened muscles, then slowly pulled out. She leaned into him, pressing him harder into the mattress, raining kisses along his back, licking his shoulder blades until his breathing evened out.

Finally, despite wanting nothing more than to climb up on top of him and take a nap, she stood, her legs a bit shaky. The slight weight of the strap-on dangling in front of her made her clit throb but she turned to the master bathroom and went about the business of cleaning Toby up. When she finished, Drew settled himself onto the bed and Toby curled up around him, head on his thigh.

Emma grabbed a throw blanket and joined them, curling herself into Toby’s back, her arm draped over him and onto Drew’s thigh. Drew brought his hand to her head and stroked her hair until she fell asleep.

Drew wasn’t at all surprised when Toby stretched a short while later. Emma was fast asleep, and together they were able to extricate themselves from the bed without disturbing her enough to wake up. They threw on clothes and headed down the stairs. Grabbing two bottles of beer and a half-empty bottle of tequila, he followed Toby to where he’d settled in the Adirondack chairs on the back porch.

His friend accepted the bottle without taking his eyes off the trees, though they were hard to see in the dim light of the moon. Drew set the tequila on the ground by his feet, not sure what was going to be needed for the conversation.

“You okay?” he asked after several minutes.

“Yeah. Mostly.” Toby stretched his legs out, crossed his ankles and finally took a drink of his beer before turning to look at Drew.

“Thanks. I needed that.”

“I’m guessing you’re not talking about the drink.”

Toby smiled, took another pull from the bottle. “No, but thanks for that as well. And for having me here, for being there for me last summer and the summer before that. And…you know.”

“I do know. You don’t have to thank me for those things, Toby. You’re my best friend. Of course I was there.”

They sat in silence for a while, Drew trying to count how many different insect noises he could identify. He had no idea what Toby was thinking about. Caroline, Emma, Drew? Or maybe he was concentrating on the crickets. When Drew heard a wet sniffle, he put his beer on the ground and moved his chair close enough to put his hand on Toby’s shoulder. They sat that way for a long time. It wasn’t the first time since Caroline had died, but Drew had the sense that it was different. Still, it was painful as hell to know there was nothing he could do to help.

“Would another go with my girlfriend help?” he asked when Toby wiped his nose on his sleeve.

It earned him the laugh he’d hoped for, though he suspected he’d pay for using the term girlfriend once Toby decided to focus on him again. He picked up the bottle of tequila and offered it. Toby accepted and took a drink straight from the bottle.

Drew retrieved his beer and leaned back into the chair, waiting while Toby took another pull of liquor.

“It did help. Seriously, it probably sounds ridiculous, but that really did help, and I meant it when I said thank you. I know you don’t want to talk about it, and that’s fine, I won’t, except to say that I think you guys have something pretty special going on, so it means a lot to me that you were both willing to share that with me.”

“Hell, you know we both enjoyed it. And I don’t think I ever would have gotten to see that side of Emma if it hadn’t been for you.”

“Does it bother you? That she has that side?”

“Are you kidding? It was hot as hell watching her order you around. Ream you out.” He said the last part with a smirk and Toby punched him in the shoulder. Taking it as his due, Drew didn’t respond other than to hold his hand out for the tequila. When Toby passed it over, he carefully poured a measure into his beer, then handed the bottle back.

“No, I’m not worried she’s suddenly going to want to go Domme on me. Although it does make me curious to see her in action around other people. Maybe we’ll head back up to Boston.” He cocked his head, trying to decide if it would be more interesting to go to her club where she was presumably comfortable, in her element, or to take her to his, keep her slightly off base. So many possibilities.

“You look like you’re thinking evil thoughts,” Toby commented.

“Hmmm.” He forced the thoughts away and returned his focus to Toby.

“Today helped, though, right? For real?”

“Yeah, it helped. I can’t quite imagine being in a relationship, but at least I can imagine going to a club on my own again. Doing some scenes. It’s not like I didn’t play before Caroline, but we were so young when we met. It’s been hard to separate any idea of sex from her. How it was with her. How I thought it would always be her.”

Drew scowled. “The world is a fucked-up place.”

Toby laughed. “Yeah, it can be that. But you can’t experience a day like today, and not acknowledge the other side, can you? The world can be pretty fucking beautiful, Drew. Amazing. The world produced Caroline. I loved everything about her, even the things I didn’t like all that much.” He took a short drink of tequila, a long pull of beer, then shook his head. “You can’t focus on the shit when you’ve got someone like Emma naked in your bed right now. She’s a fucking treasure. To give of herself like that. For me, a total stranger.”

Drew tried not to laugh as Toby’s language took a turn for the drunk, but it came out as a cough that probably sounded pretty suspicious. Luckily Toby was too involved in what he was saying to notice.

“I thought she was beautiful yesterday, out on the water, naked breasts—what could be better?” He swung his arm out with the question, then back again for more tequila. “I’ll tell you what was better. Naked except for a strap-on, that’s what. Fucking gorgeous. Are you sure you don’t want to give her a shot at your ass?”

The question was asked with the eager incredulousness of someone absolutely certain the pleasure he craved should be loved by all.

Drew couldn’t hold in the laugh anymore. “I’m sure, buddy.” Then he got serious. “So here’s the thing. Emma has to leave for work early in the morning. We haven’t had dinner, but we had a big lunch. So I’m thinking you can go ahead and get a serious drunk on. I’ll join you, if you’d like. Or, you can stop drinking, spend some time sobering up, and we can wake Emma up to the pleasure of being the center of both of our undivided attentions.”

Without hesitating, Toby leaned over and picked up the cap for the liquor bottle. He set the bottle down, put his hands behind his head and stared up at the sky. “Tell me again about how you two met. And this time, cough up some more details.”

Drew just smirked.

Toby sighed. “Remember the day I met Caroline? That was a fucked-up day.”

Drew nodded. “You had a flat tire, were late to a job interview.”

“And I rush into the building and this lady knocks into me and spills coffee all over me. I wanted to strangle her.”

“She told me you just stood there staring at her.”

“I just could not believe it had happened, had no idea what to do next. Couldn’t get my brain to engage.”

“Because it was stuck on her boobs.”

Toby laughed. “Nah, it took me a while to get that far. I wanted to scream at this lady, but she says sorry and smiles at me, and I can’t get a word to come out of my mouth.”

“So she took you in hand.”

“Saw I was holding an application and CV, figured I was there for the interviews, took hold of my wrist and just led me to where I needed to be. By the time she’d introduced me to the principal and taken the blame for my being late, I was in serious lust. Damn, I loved the way she talked to that asshole.”

Drew waived his beer bottle towards Toby in salute, then took the final drink. He took their empties and the rest of the tequila into the house, stood at the bottom of the stairs to listen for movement. There were no sounds, so he went back outside.

Toby rolled his head along the chairback and looked at him as he resumed his seat. “Maybe I’ll hit a club when I’m in Atlanta. They must have something decent there.”

“Call your club, see if they have a referral.”

“Good idea.”

“Be careful, though. It’s been a long time since you were trolling a club for a hook up.”

A disdainful snort was the only response he got to that, but Drew decided not to push.

“Emma’s necklace sure made things easier, huh?” Toby asked. “You didn’t have to tell her what you were into.”

Drew laughed. “I remember the weeks of angst you went through before telling Caroline what you wanted.”

“Yeah, that sucked. But she sure as hell took to the idea.”

They both laughed, but Drew sobered quickly. “Tell me you’re not thinking of getting a necklace like that for yourself, though. That is way too dangerous for you. Hell, it wasn’t a good idea for her, either, and she doesn’t wear it anymore.”

“You’re such a prude sometimes.”

“I’m serious, Toby. You get fired for that shit and it will follow you everywhere. No getting away from it, no getting your life back.”

“Yeah, yeah. I’m not getting the necklace Drew, I was just saying it’s cool that it made your connection so easy.”

Drew wasn’t thrilled with Toby’s lack of concern, but he let it go. It had been one thing for the married couple to hide their lifestyle together. Dating was a whole different story and Drew was worried for his friend.

“Don’t be a stick in the mud, cop.” Drew suddenly sat up straight. “Hey, I bet there are lady cop Dommes. With handcuffs. Oooohhh, that would be hot.”

Drew chuckled. “It’s not like you need to be a cop to get handcuffs.”

“No, but it makes it extra cool. Come on, tell me you haven’t used them on Emma.”

Drew stayed quiet but Toby laughed. “Yeah, I knew it. Did you role-play? Did you play bad cop with her?”

“I’ll play bad cop with you if you keep pushing.”

Toby gave a mock shudder. “Is that supposed to stop me or encourage me?”

“You’ll have to find your own bad cop. Tonight is going to be for Emma.”

“I’m fully on board with that plan.” Toby looked at his watch. “Is that long enough of a nap for her?”

Drew didn’t have to check his watch. He stood up. He gave Toby a long look, determined the man was sober and no longer sad. He was excited and Drew was determined to thank Emma for bringing that spark back into Toby’s eyes.

“All right. Let’s do it.”

The few times he’d seen Emma asleep in his bed without him, she’d amazed him with how she could share with him with no problems, but put her in the bed by herself and she would do her best to take up every inch of space. Limbs every which way. So he was surprised to find her still in the center of the bed, curled into a loose ball.

Her hands were tucked under her cheek, the blanket covering all but a bit of her shoulder. Her smiles were definitely one of his favorite features, but there was something so endearing about seeing her face completely relaxed in sleep. He almost didn’t want to disturb her. Except he wanted to lick that tasty bit of shoulder. And there was no way he’d be stopping there.

Besides, he really wanted to give her this experience. How had she described her imaginings? Two tongues, four hands? Well, she was about to find out exactly what that could do to a woman.

He went to the toy drawer and selected what he wanted. They silently took their clothes off, then worked together to lift the blanket off without disturbing her. Toby watched him, waited for a signal. Drew watched Emma. After a minute or so, she felt the cold and her nose twitched. Damn, in the midst of a thousand lascivious thoughts about what he wanted to do to her body, suddenly he just thought she was damn cute and wanted to kiss her nose.
