When the group exited the room, Ben wrapped his arms around me. “So what was that little giggle about?”

“I caught you winking at me on the camera.”

Nuzzling my neck, “You did, did you?”

“I did and it went unnoticed too.”

“Who caught you blushing?”

“Emma.” I answer blushing once again.

He is amused now. “Why would she make you blush?”

“Because she is amazing and I totally love her. She is the one girl who can make me melt.” I totally gush.

“Are you telling me you like Emma? Like, like
like
her?”

Damn it!

Covering my face I shake my head attempting to deny it, I start to laugh instead.

“You do!” he shouts and I launch at him, covering his mouth.

“Shut up!” I squeal out at him.

“Oh, come on! I know you don’t like girls, Tess, but fuck, that’s kinda hot! And you have good taste, I see.”

I smack him on his shoulder. “Oh, so you were looking too?”

“I wasn’t looking, I… I… Hey! You are the one who admitted that you liked her.”

“Uh huh.” I cross my arms.

Groaning, he tries to recover. “I love you,” he says, kissing my nose.

“I love you too… creep.”

He jumps when his phone rings. I watch him check the screen, he rolls his eyes and purses his lips, then turns it off.

“Who was that?” I ask, maybe this time he’ll tell me.

“No one important.”

“That’s what you said last time too. Maybe you should change your number.” I state.

“Maybe.”

By the time the show was over, my cheeks hurt from smiling so much. This is exactly what I needed, to be able to let go of the the concern, confusion and mixed feelings over everything… even if it was just for a couple of hours.

The stage is empty and the fans have cleared, when I hear a throat clear from the stage right. I looked up to find Ben slowly walking across the stage. “Why didn’t you come backstage right after the performance?”

I place my arms on the stage and rest my head on them. “Just thinking and enjoying the serenity of the empty venue. It’s calming and lets me clear my head.”

Looking up at him, I have an idea. “Stay right there.”

“What are you up to?”

I pull my camera up to my face and snap a shot. “You know… you look pretty fucking sexy up there on stage.” Ben’s body is the perfect distraction.

“Do I now?” Ben takes one step forward and I snap another photo. He chuckles and gives me that sexy smirk—oh, he is up to something himself now.

Stopping right in front of me, he starts to take off his shirt.
Fuuuu…

“Oh, the look on your face, I am glad to see I can still make you blush especially after all the things I have done to your tight little body.”

I feel myself getting wet, by his words alone.

“Tease.” I snip out.

“Oh, come on. Let’s get out of here, so I can be alone with you.” He extends his hand.

Once I am up, I aim my camera. “One more… now Vogue!” And with my command he poses, full-on framing his face and tooching his butt out. I nearly pee my pants from laughing so hard.

He shakes his head and puts his arm around my shoulder, and we walk off the stage.

Back at Ben’s, we lounge on his black leather sofa with some wine and talk about the show.

He took the SD card out of my camera and clicked it into his flat screen, so we can see what shots I got.

“What are you doing?” I feel a little self-conscious. I don’t like people viewing my photos before I have a chance to filter through the crap shots and edit the good ones.

“I was backstage for most of the show, so I want to see what you got to see.”

He doesn’t say anything as the photos scroll by and that makes me uneasy.

“Why are you so quiet?” I have to ask, before I bite all of my fingernails off. “You are freaking me out!”

“Hey, why are you freaking out on me? I am enjoying the photos, trying to see what you see. You have a great eye, like this one …” He stops on a photo of the band leaning in while Ben is asking their questions; they are completely into the conversation. “You can see that they are a true band who cares, just by looking at their body language you have captured your passion. I remember asking them the question about their world crew members and how they feel about them, they were all over it. They care so much for their fans and crew; you got that in a single shot.”

He stops on the next photo. “And this one…” He takes my hand and urges me to look at the screen. “In this one, you have captured a photo of a man who is looking at his stunning girlfriend, completely and overwhelmingly in love with her.”

My face warming with a light pink of a blush at his words, “I see that look every day. I love you, Ben.”

That’s all it takes and he is on me hard and fast. His hands are on both sides of my face. I put my hands on the front of his chest and slowly move them downward to his ribs and to this waist. His kisses are now traveling down my neck and I go to lift the hem of his simple black T-shirt when I feel the phone in his pocket buzz.

He pulls the device out and sets in out the coffee table, then returns to his very pleasant acts on my body. I slowly pull his shirt off and I lean down to kiss his chest when the phone buzzes again.

What the hell?

Ben equally annoyed, rolls his eyes, and tells me to ignore it. Too turned on to care any further, I reach for his belt buckle, but he removes my shirt before I have a chance to finish.

He licks a light trail between my breasts and nips at the top of my small cleavage. I fumble with his pants button when, once again, his phone buzzes. I throw my hands up in frustration, “Are you going to see who is texting you?”

Groaning, Ben reaches over, looks at the display, and makes a tense face. He turns off the phone. “There, that’s the end of that.” He smirks at me, “Now, where were we?”

“Who was it? Why won’t you just tell me?”

“It was nobody, wrong number. What do you say we take this to the shower? I reek of cigarettes and beer.” He finishes removing his jeans and backs toward the hall.

I pick up my glass of wine. “Sure, let me finish this real quick.”

Smirking he drops his pants, turns and slips his boxers off, leaving me with the view of his hot tight ass walking away. I take in the last gulp of my wine and look at his phone. I have to wonder who was being so persistent. And if it was a wrong number, then why did he get tense.

Tapping at my empty glass, I debate what to do. Should I look? The wine is definitely not helping with my rational thinking capabilities right now.

I hear the shower start.

I shake my head and I rush to Ben, hot, steamy and wet.

Later, we lay out on his bed, him running his fingertips up and down my spine with a feather-light touch as I lay my naked chest on his side, with one leg over his.

It’s late in the night and I am not even tired. I look to the clock and I see that it’s past midnight. It is officially Saturday.

His birthday.

Before he came to get me for the show last night, I managed to pack up the drawing. I dash out to the living room to fetch it.

“Hey!” Ben yells. “Where are you going? Get that ass back in this bed immediately!”

“Oh, don’t get your panties in a bunch, I am coming!”

Ben is sitting up in his bed, with his sheets barely covering his package. I stop in the doorway to stare, with the drawing behind my back.

“What do you have there, Punky?”

I walk over slowly and hand it out. “Happy Birthday.”

“How… how did you know it was my birthday?” He asks, stumped.

“Your sister spilled in a text the other day. Why didn’t you tell me your birthday was coming up?”

He shrugs. “I guess I don’t see it as a big deal.”

“It is a big deal, to me anyways. I want to celebrate the day you were born… it is when fate brought you into this world… for me.”

His features relax. “So what do we have here?” He unties the blue ribbon and slowly opens the scroll.

His eyes widen.

“Oh Tess.” His voice is low, and his eyes don’t leave the paper.

My fingers mess with the edge of the sheet. “What do you think?”

I notice a shift in the sheet and when I look he is getting hard. He looks up from the paper with a hooded glare and he runs his thumb over his bottom lip and darts his tongue out to lick it. My thighs tighten.

“I take it you like it?”

He pulls the sheet away, allowing his erection to spring free. Yup, he likes it.

“I love it. Is this what you were doing when you sent me that sexy photo?”

“Yes.”

“Hmmm… Well, it’s stunning like you, and bloody sexy as hell.” He sets it on the nightstand and I take that opportunity to straddle his lap.

I waste no time and guide him into me. I am so wound up from my nerves of giving him the nude piece of myself I need a good release, and judging by the look on his face he doesn’t seem to mind.

His mouth finds my right nipple right off the bat. He knows how much I love it when he plays with them. He twirls his tongue around the outside and takes in into his mouth and sucks on it. His hand finds the left and lightly pinches it.

I am building and fast. I begin to grind harder on his hard cock, rocking back and forth. He lets out a growl and pumps his hips, meeting me thrust for thrust. He doesn’t take his hands off my chest or his eyes off of mine.

“Come with me.” I tell him.

“Oh, I am with you, babe.”

I sit up and push my breasts into his hands and I raise myself up and come down on him with force, making me come hard. And as he promises, he comes with me with just as much intensity.

Groaning he pulls me down to him and runs his hands through my hair. “This is by far the best birthday of my life.”

“I am glad. I love you.”

“God, I love you too. Now to get a frame and hang this beauty.” He says as he picks the paper back up from the side table.

I feel my eyes widening, “Hang it?”

Ben laughs at my shock. “Don’t worry, I will hang it in here. No one comes in this room but you and me.”

Toward the end of the Sick Puppies show, I feel the phone buzz in my pocket. I look down at the screen to see who is calling and I instantly pick up. “Hey man!”
