I thought about the phone tower on the island.

I wouldn’t be able to call for help if it went down.

I was scared and I needed Ramsey.

I heard the sound.

I looked out onto the water.

Ramsey was home!

I ran downstairs and unlocked the wood panels.

I pushed them open.

I watched the boat come closer. It docked.

Ramsey jumped onto the deck, turned and shook the man’s hand and then came up the wooden steps. I waited for him to reach the deck and then I jumped on him. I kissed his face and held him tight.

“Easy Darlin.” He laughed. “My ribs are fucked up.”

I tried to get down.

He gripped my butt tight and adjusted my legs.

“I want to keep holding you.” He kissed me.

“What happened?” I asked in between kisses.

I jumped onto an armored truck.

I stared at him. He laughed.

I shook my head and kissed him more.

“I don’t care. You’re home let me take care of you.”

His phone vibrated.

He shifted me in his arms and took it out.

“Damn it Ramsey, don’t answer!”

He ignored me. I tried to buck out of his arms.

“Watch my ribs woman.”  He answered the phone.

“I’ll punch you in them.”

“Here, it’s for you.”

“Who is it?”

He brushed his lips against mine.

“Sweetheart, take the phone.”

I took it and said hello.

I heard Billy’s voice and burst into tears.

Ramsey held me while I cried on the phone.

I couldn’t speak.

I rested my head on Ramsey’s shoulder.

He held me and let me feel it.

Billy did all the talking.

He was in a small village in another country.

He would help build a new water system.

The fresh water would be a major improvement.

He said he had his own little hut and there’s this cutie.

Billy had bad reception.

I managed a few words and told him I loved him.

The call ended.

“You broke my brother out of jail.

I gazed at him.

“No.” Ramsey kissed me.

“I stole him in transit.”

“I love you.”  I said in his language.

His eyes sparked.  “I love you with all that I am. “

He carried me upstairs.

“Should we get ready for the storm?”  I asked

“We are.” His voice was sexy and low.

He put me on the bed and took off his shirt.

I saw the bruises on his skin.

He stepped out of his boots.

He was naked in front of me in seconds.

My eyes traced his tribal tattoo.

I bit my lip as my eyes dropped lower.

I opened my legs wide.

I heard that sexy growl.

I felt the ocean breeze on my inner thighs.

Ramsey came for me.

He ripped my cotton dress off.

He buried his face in my chest.

I grabbed handfuls of his hair.

He touched me there.

I was swept into the passion.

Paradise hadn’t ever felt so good.
