The newly shifted female wolves slowly moved in, noses in the air and all displayed a toothy smile. Chance couldn’t allow this to happen with the newbies, they wouldn’t know the first thing about mating and what was expected. But, bigger than that, they didn’t really belong to a pack yet. The Elders would expect Chance to foster and teach them until they were prepared and ready to face the Elders’ ruling. He shifted to human-form and Trevor followed suite. Together, they walked out amid the she-wolves and the two Kodiaks. Both of the bears faced Chance and Trevor.

“Damnation, these guys are huge! Both of them stand like an oak tree, making me feel like a measly little bush to piss on.”
Trevor’s mental chatter made Chance fight to keep from smiling, until he realized Trevor wasn’t focusing like Olivia.

“Aren’t you supposed to be calming the situation, helping Olivia?”

“There are enough females to go around. Do you wish to choose first?” One of the bears asked. “We only require one, but would take two if there are any left over.”

“Wow, they live up to their teddy-bear nature…well, at least this guy does,”
Chance mentally spoke to Trevor. To the bears, he said, “It’s the first shift into wolf for all of these human females. They have no idea about the ways of any were-species, let alone their own kind.”

“I’m Zander and this is my partner, Rynd.” Zander moved slightly to pull Rynd up beside him.

“And you are?” Rynd asked.

Chance worked at ignoring the bears’ twitching, engorged cocks. He swore they appeared ribbed or ridged, consistently moving, like the ridges kept spiraling around the width and length of their shafts. He coughed to gain a bit of composure.

“I’m Chance Grayton, an agent of the Lycan International Investigation Agency, and Trevor here, is a member of the same agency. The others are as well.” Chance jerked his head toward Damen and Olivia still stationed near the tree where he’d left them. His gaze drifted downward as Zander stroked his cock. Trevor nudged Chance’s shoulder, breaking the awkward moment, and Chance looked up to see Zander grinning

“Do you wish to touch it?” Zander stepped closer.

Good gods, his cock did move beneath the outer skin, spinning ridges, back and forth. Any female would enjoy that kind of stimulation, so would a male if they enjoyed male sex-play. Trevor gasped loudly, again breaking Chance’s focus away from Zander’s tool.

“Holy vibrating cock, what I could do with something like that.” Trevor stopped and looked at Zander. “I meant if it was my own equipment. Nothing against you or anything.” Zander gave a knowing smile and winked at Trevor, drawing another gasp from him.
“Shit, Chance, these guys look like they’d fuck anything with a hole.”

Chance couldn’t hold back the laugh, which made Zander and Rynd stare wide-eyed.

“Go ahead and touch it.” Zander caught Chance’s hand with a grip Chance couldn’t break. Shock and anger streamed through him for only seconds before his lifetime of training kicked in.
Don’t offend a possible enemy, especially two that had the ability to do real damage to his pack members.

Zander deftly folded Chance’s palm around the vibrating cock. Immediately Zander’s eyes closed and he automatically guided Chance’s hand up and down. Chance felt the moving ridges inside his palms along with prickles of sensation, like mini charges, and the stimulation of it sent a message to his own equipment, much to his surprise and embarrassment. His cock thickened and Trevor jumped away. Chance noted Trevor’s state wasn’t much different than his own. These were-bears must have some kind of pheromone at work on them. He’d have to add that to his notes on Kodiak-were.

Zander opened his eyes and released Chance’s hand, and Chance quickly withdrew it to his side, wanting to wipe it on something. Then suddenly anger rose, like he’d been violated.

“What the hell, Zander.” Chance watched the big man’s gaze drift downward, giving Chance the urge to cover his stuff. “I’m not into males. Happily mated, and I have no appreciation for the male gender as a sex partner. I’m not offended by it with others. It’s just not my thing…and never will be.”

Zander and Rynd, both, took a couple steps back, pulling some of their allure along with them. “Excuse our misconception.” Both bears glanced at each other and then back at Chance and Trevor. “We’ve been a long time with only each other, and we are desperate to mate and procreate with a female. It’s taken us over and we’ve been lusting after any were-species…males or females, just to relieve some of this built up sexual tension.”

Chance breathed a sigh as he relaxed a little from the few feet of space between them. “This area thrived with your kind according to a few reports that crossed my desk. What’s happened here to change that?”

“Vampires.” Zander’s gaze narrowed, as did Rynd’s. “We don’t require a pack to survive, but we always know where other Kodiak-weres are located. And then
she
came with an entourage, and one by one the Kodiak-weres began vanishing. Many moved north to escape into Canada’s wilderness, but Rynd and I chose to stay.”

“This
she
you speak of, does she have a name?” Trevor astounded Chance by asking the question before he could.

“They call her Ria,” Rynd spat. “Her body lures, sexy and wanton, any male would die for her, and plenty Kodiak-were males did.”

“Holy shit with tits. Chance, she’s the one that took Jase.” Trevor clenched his hands into fists, his jaw tensed.

“We know where she lives.” Zander and Rynd nodded at each other, like maybe they were speaking to each other telepathically. “We’d like to help. It’s going to take some real strategy to take her down.”

“We’d accept and be grateful for your help.” Chance turned and took a quick scan of the area. They’d lost Smoke for now, and it looked like Bliss left also. The rogue pack had pretty much disbanded, but Chance’s pack had taken possession of the female changelings, or at least most of them. Plus they would have Lindsey back soon.
High time to rescue Jase.

“You all look like you could use some downtime. We have a place not too far from here and would welcome your company.” Zander glanced at Rynd, again appearing to be communicating. “Rynd will serve refreshments while I show you the information we have on the vampire, Ria.”

“We need to get Lindsey,”
Olivia’s voice popped inside Chance’s head, as it would to all of the pack members. He wondered if the bears’ attractant would affect her. She and Damen came up in wolf-form and stood beside Chance. Jasmine and Dir also in wolf-form, circled around, between the seven newbies which snarled at them and the Kodiak-weres, to stop beside Trevor.

“We’ve got a mated human female protected from the elements in one of the caves up there.” Trevor pointed. “I need to get her before we leave.”

Zander and Rynd gazed at one another as if sharing conversation. “Rynd will go with you, Trevor, as protector and guide. Our scent ability is keener than yours by miles. Rynd will lead you right to your human female. The others can follow me.”

“You trust them?”
Trevor looked over at Chance.

“From what I know about Kodiak-weres, if we stay on their good-side, we are all safe with them. They will protect us, it’s their nature.”
Chance nodded his head, and spoke out loud, “Go ahead, Trevor, we’ll meet you at Zander and Rynd’s homestead. Go get Lindsey before she freezes.”

“Nothing will keep me from her.” Trevor shifted to wolf-form and Rynd shifted to bear, and both ran off toward the caves.

Chapter Twenty-Six

Jase

Jase depended on his inner clock to keep straight how long he’d been a captive of Ria. He lost consciousness a number of times after her feeding off him, losing track of time, not knowing how long he’d been passed out. He calculated a little over a week.

She’d allowed him out for short lengths of time to eat in what appeared a dining hall, seating for many, but whenever Ria and he ate there, it was always only set up for two. He wondered how many others lived in the building or how many rooms it consisted of, or even where they were located. Ria never shared anything with him, other than sex.

He walked over to the golden-leaf door handle with a bobby pin he’d found on the bathroom floor. He jiggled it inside a key hole and then slid it between the door and the jam. Nothing. He’d attempted to break the lock on the door a number of times without success. Every time he worked on it, he’d get weak and need to rest.

“Dammit, Trevor, where are you guys? Why doesn’t anyone hear me?”

Jase pulled a drawer out of the little dresser by the bed and slammed it against the door handle, not caring if the sound called in Ria. He needed to go wolf, run in the wilderness.

It must be a full moon out right now, instinct pushing my buttons.

He dropped to the floor, the drawer smashed into pieces, and the same weak feeling overwhelmed him. His palm burned when he touched the door knob. Taking a closer look, he discovered silver beneath gold paint.
So that’s why I poop out trying to get this damn door open.

Jase walked back to the bed and sprawled across the plush spread. He needed to escape. Something in the building was keeping Jase from telecommunicating with his pack.

After Trevor and he had been accosted by those three hot-dog vampires, Jase figured he passed out because he didn’t remember how he arrived and ended up in this room.

He came to realize Ria carried some kind of compelling ability when she visited him as he only remembered her entering the room and him wanting her more than his next breath, then he’d awaken with a raging headache and a hard-on he could use to pole vault into the next county.

She lured him with her nakedness, he couldn’t help but look, and his gaze always took in her entire body, ending at her big brown eyes that changed to glowing red. Those metallic burning red eyes must be her power, how she controlled him.

Jase heard the key turn in the lock. He closed his eyes as the door opened.

“Hey baby, Ria’s here to play. Wake up, sweetie.” Her light footsteps stopped at the end of the bed.

He heard the rustle of her clothing and knew it would be something gauzy enough to see her voluptuous curves, rosy peaked nipples, and that curly-haired pink-tipped heart above her slit. His dick twitched, filling without his permission.

“Something’s waking for me…and maybe that’s enough.” Her giggle sounded more like a purr. The foot of the bed moved with her weight and soft material brushed his feet, moving along his legs as Ria crept up the bed. The heat of her pussy hovered over his erection. “Open your eyes, Jase. I know you want to.” Her wet feminine folds pressed against him and she dropped onto his chest, her breasts pressing, tempting him to caress. He lay unmoving, but not because he couldn’t move. Jase had a feeling as long as he didn’t succumb and look into Ria’s eyes, he’d be able to resist her control over him.

“Ria, stop.” To his surprise, she stopped grinding herself into him and rose off his chest, but remained straddled over his groin, her crevice cradling his cock. “What’s in all this for me? Why am I stuck in this room?” He kept his eyes closed, but carried on the conversation as if he were gazing into her eyes.

“Why won’t you look at me?”

“You know why, so answer my questions.” The bed shifted as Ria came forward, piercing skin close to his nipple and drawing his blood like a vacuum. His cock twitched and the stimulation brought him to the edge of climax. “Stop,” he gasped the word and choked out, “we need to talk. I’m not your blood-whore.”

Her suckling halted, then her tantalizing tongue slathered his nipple. She lifted away from his torso, climbing off him, and then the bed. “So, okay, if you don’t wish to be my blood whore, they’ll kill you.”

Still keeping his eyes closed, he lifted up on one arm, facing her. “Who’ll kill me?”

“Those vamp-goons that took you and me from outside the saloon. You know, when I was blowing you toothy-style.” She sighed. “You ended up as leverage to keep me here and cooperating.”

“I don’t understand. Why would they want to keep you here? And how am I leverage?” Jase shuffled to the edge of the bed, dropping his feet to the floor.

“All of the rooms in this joint have eyes and ears on, but for some reason something about this room turns off the ears…but they can still see us. So, if you want everything to look peachy between us, you’re going to have to look like you’re enjoying yourself.”

“You’ll tell me everything?” He opened his eyes and stared at Ria’s breasts. Gods, they were so firm and large, nipples taut and tempting him. He reached out to grasp both mounds. She wore another filmy number, shimmering blue. It draped her assets in a most provocative fashion, one Jase couldn’t resist. He stood, folding her into his arms and pressing her lusciousness breasts against his naked torso. “Talk to me,” he whispered in her ear.

“The short version or the long one?”

“If you don’t compel me, we could make love for hours. Give me the long version.”

Ria pushed him backward and he tumbled onto the bed. “I have to make it look like I’m in control or they’ll guess you’re getting an earful and they’ll come for both of us.”

Jase laid back and reached for her with one hand, while stroking himself with his other. “Does this look like you’re controlling me?”

Ria climbed next to him and placed her hand over his. “Now it does.” She straddled his thighs and let go of his hand. “Keep pumping yourself big boy.” She pulled the flimsy robe over her head and threw it to the floor, her gaze taking in his hand action, which turned him on even more. Ria leaned over, her tongue snaked out between her lips, and licked the crown of his cock.

His balls immediately tightened. “Don’t make me come yet. I want to hear what you have to say.”

She slid her body over his groin and guided his cock into her hot sopping passage. Slowly, she lowered herself. “Hmmm, your rod is heaven to me, Jase.”

Jase sucked in his breath until he seated completely inside her. She rocked her hips. He gasped. “Slow and easy so I hear what you’re telling me.”
