“I love you, Lindsey. I’m going to apologize again for what I need to do next.” He pulled her long coat off, making it a blanket of sorts and rolled her body up, holding her in a tight embrace. Trevor took possession of her lips in a searing kiss that left them both breathless. He noticed the others had stationed themselves in a circle, backs to them in an attack stance, should anyone or anything interrupt their consummation, with the exception of Bliss. For some reason, she got down on her knees and watched Lindsey with seemingly focused attention. A bit annoying, but he was past the point of caring as he said, “Darlin’ I’m yours forever as you’ll be mine forever, from this day forward.”

Trevor pulled her away from his body and gently turned her over, front-side down, ass raised. He kissed her butt cheeks and she wiggled her hips, opening herself in response. Trevor sunk a finger to his knuckle inside her passage, curling it, massaging her inner walls. And then he drove in a second. Lindsey panted, and he was sure he heard Bliss off to the side panting as well. His thumb rolled over Lindsey’s swollen clit, and her hips thrust into his hand.

His cock stirred back to life, raging for another round. He climbed over the top of her back and whispered, “Lindsey, I gotta take your back door, darlin’. Relax into me. I’ll go slower.”

Lindsey shoved her ass at him. She reached back and pulled her butt cheeks apart. “It’s okay, Trevor. Just do what you must.”

He drew out his drenched fingers, rimming her tight ass ring as he drove his cock inside her yawning soaked feminine passage, lubricating himself in preparation. His desire to taste her took precedence. He pulled out and shoved his tongue into her depths, licking and sucking. Her thighs trembled against his shoulders and her hips bucked at his face. Her flavor, like liquid passion, consumed him, and her light musky scent deepened his breath as he wanted every bit of it inside him.

“Oh my God, Trevor, I’m coming,” she choked out, her face hidden in the coat lining while her hips preformed an enticing dance over his mouth.

Trevor finally broke away from her, his lust for her un-sated. Again he slid his fingers inside her sex to collect nectar and then painted her rear entrance with it. He dipped the tip of his forefinger inside. Lindsey stopped moving, her head rose and her back arched, and Trevor thought he’d hurt her. The moments clicked through his mind while neither of them moved. Bliss crawled in closer, undid Lindsey’s bra, and then reached under her chest. Trevor guessed the girls must be familiar with each other.

Lindsey’s ass immediately shoved into Trevor’s finger. He pushed another in, attempting a slow entry, but Lindsey gave another thrust. He worked her a bit to stretch her, slowly spreading her inside. Bliss’s face disappeared under Lindsey’s breasts. No one bothered moving her away, and in the heat of the moment, Trevor found it a bit hot.

“Oh God, Trevor, hurry,” her words caught on a moan.

He removed his fingers, replacing them with the tip of his erection. Lindsey stilled again, and then slowly rocked into him, folding herself down while pushing Bliss away.

“I love you, Trevor,” her words echoed through every part of him, breathing life and passion into his swelling heart.

He pressed into her deeper, her tightness probing every inch of him. Trevor reached between her thighs, finding her swollen pearl of sensitivity. He circled it with the pads of two fingers, pressing, stroking. His thighs trembled as prickles zipped down his spine. Lindsey continued her slow rocking, releasing his cock and then swallowing it whole inside her again. He worked hard to hold himself back from pounding into her, his release steadily building. He throbbed, so thick against the walls of her ass.

Trevor closed his eyes in an attempt to stop the instinct to thrust into her balls deep. Rough fingers came around from his backside and pinched his nipples. That’s all it took for his hips to drive forward. Who in the hell dared pinch his nipples? Like steel clamps, it shot pain and pleasure straight to his balls. His instinct shook him loose of caution, and he shoved in and pulled out of Lindsey in a wild, furious rhythm he couldn’t control. He pumped her with all he had until he roared his release. In that moment, he dropped over her back and bit her shoulder on top of Smoke’s mark. Lindsey’s breath caught on a deep intake of air, her body trembling. Trevor quickly lapped the wound to seal it closed, savoring the flavor of Lindsey.

“Mark me again. Give me a clean, pure, Trevor mark.” Lindsey lifted the opposite shoulder. “Please, Trevor.”

Trevor couldn’t have been more surprised or pleased at her request. He bit as directed, tasting warm metallic sweetness. Lindsey’s deep intake of breath for the second time told him of the pain incurred. He lapped the wound to seal it, pulled himself free of her, and rolled her over. Her gaze connected to his and his insides warmed as sparks whipped through him unfettered.

“I thought you’d never look for me, that you’d never love me, and now I am yours forever.” Lindsey smiled and Trevor swore her whole face glowed. Then he realized it glowed because the full moon shone over them all.

“Oh, shit.”

Lindsey’s expression turned wide-eyed and sober. “What? You don’t feel the love?”

“Damn, girl, of course I feel the love.” He ravished her lips in a deep exploring kiss, but her little breathless moan drew another erection, one he couldn’t sate at that moment. He broke away, light headed and wanting.

“Trevor, we need to get back to the cave,”
Chance spoke inside Trevor’s head.
“You stay with Lindsey.”

“I’m not letting you go up against Smoke without me. We take him together.”
He pulled Lindsey up as he stood and looked toward Bliss, then back at Lindsey. “Darlin’ how well do you know Bliss? Can we trust her?”

“She’s the one who got me away from Smoke and his pack.” Lindsey smiled toward Bliss. “Yes, we can trust her.”

“Get dressed, girl,” he directed Lindsey. When she bent over to pull her jeans on, her arousal wafted through the air. His inner wolf pressed against the inside of his groin and thickened his cock. Gods, he wanted her again. Instead, he dropped to his knees and rubbed snow over his throbbing cock, cleaning it as he tamed it. His inner wolf growled disapproval, but at this point, it wasn’t in charge.

“So, you all have a mission to save the others. Shall I take Lindsey to a safe place not far from here?” Bliss gazed down at Trevor, watching him with an amused expression.

In fact all of them seemed to be watching him with amusement.

“Who gave me the tittie-twister?” He changed the subject to keep them from staring at his personal hygiene moment. Damen chuckled.

“It worked, didn’t it?” Damen chuckled again. “You got your rocks off in record time. You got a problem with that?” Damen’s toothy grin made Trevor desperate to punch it off his face.

“Trevor,” Chance said, stepping between Trevor and Damen and drawing Trevor’s complete attention. “Bliss taking Lindsey to a safe place sounds like the perfect solution if you’re hell bent on joining the mission.”

Trevor turned toward Lindsey, who was already dressed. “Go with Bliss, darlin’. I’ll come for you shortly.” He pulled her into his arms, kissing her thoroughly. She reluctantly let him go when Bliss slipped an arm between them and coiled it around Lindsey’s waist. Trevor backed away. “Bliss, if anything happens to Lindsey, you’ll have me to deal with.”

“She’ll have us all to deal with,” Chance prompted. “We need to move quickly. No communication, watch for my signals. We can’t spook them.”

“Oh, you’ll want to go around that way.” Bliss pointed to the north. “Take them from the side where they won’t be expecting any company.”

All of them shifted with the exception of Bliss, who pressed herself into Lindsey’s side, the arm still wrapped around Lindsey’s waist tightened. Trevor didn’t know what to think of Bliss, only that he sensed she had Lindsey’s best interest at heart, and for the moment, it was enough for Trevor to trust she’d keep Lindsey safe while he took care of the evil bastard that still stood between him and Lindsey. She would never relax with him as long as Smoke breathed.

Chapter Twenty-Two

Olivia

Olivia lost sight of Jasmine not long after they began their trek to Smoke’s hideout. She picked up Chance, Dir, Damen, and Trevor’s scents along the way, but wasn’t experienced enough in the scent department to recognize how old they were. Jasmine’s fragrance stayed strong, leading Olivia along, even in the heaviest snow fall.

Darkness crept in and became established but didn’t seem to affect her ability to see. This werewolf attribute was one of her favorites as she stumbled around in the dark without a clue as a human. Olivia drove the snowmobile to the edge of the pack site and cut the engine, but anyone still occupying the place would have heard her miles ago.

She wandered around the central building until she found the door and it stood ajar. She walked in. No lights, no nothing…not even Jasmine stirred. Blankets covered the main floor. The air strife with sex, reminding her of the cave Smoke had kept her and Lindsey as captives. A shiver ran the length of her body at the ugly memory.

Her babies fluttered inside her belly as if reassuring her with something positive. Even though she’d never born a human child, pregnancy as a Lycan definitely differed from that as a human, only four weeks along and already she noticed their movements.

Olivia knew Jasmine wouldn’t telecommunicate and give their position away to the enemy, but she might have left a note or some kind of sign giving Olivia direction. She looked for any tables and found one close to the door. Jasmine had left her something, a note:
I went on. You know the way. J.

Olivia surmised no one remained in the site, so she needed to move on also. She ran to the snowmobile, only taking seconds to start it back up, and proceeded to follow Jasmine’s trail. Seeing in the dark gave her such a rush. The snowfall thinned, making vision even easier. A full moon peeked through a crack of thickly clouded sky as she approached a narrow river, she slowed. It appeared almost like daylight, and a sudden desperate urgency quaked through her. She needed to hurry.

Jasmine’s trail ran beside the river. Strong current kept the water from freezing and it gave her an excellent highway-like path to follow alongside. She clamped her fingers over the throttle, speeding ahead. Something drew her; needed her attention and the feeling nearly smothered her. Not her pack, but she knew it was Lycan riddled with fear, so scared and in great pain.

Wanting to shift and run to them drove her to go even faster on the snowmobile, a reckless speed. Instinct kicked in, adrenalin pumped, surging to every nerve-ending and through every vein. She barely had time to jump as the snowmobile sailed over the edge of a cliff.

Olivia lay in the snow for moments, attempting to bring her heart-rate down and slow her breathing. Deep breaths. The sled crashed far below, but now only screams of terror and pain filled her head. Where in the hell was it coming from? She sat up and looked around, gathering the direction of the tormented sounds. They came from above her, a ledge?

Shuffling, someone moved on a cliff above and it drove her into a crouch, then a deep voice, “I can’t take it in there. Some of those females are breaking apart.” He coughed, gagging. She decided more than one moved about on that ledge. “We should never have lined them up and pulled the cover aside for the moonlight to touch them. It’s a shit-storm of blood and guts. Where the hell is Smoke?”

Another gruff voice spoke, “Probably off fuckin’ the shit out of Red Riding Hood. Have you ever gotten a piece of her?” He gagged and spat over the side. Olivia watched the glob of spittle glisten in the moonlight as it passed her on its way to the bottom of the ravine.

“No, that bastard doesn’t share her. I can see why he wouldn’t. If I stuffed her holes lookin’ like him and she didn’t run away, I wouldn’t be able to keep my prick out of her either.” He laughed and so did the other guy. They had to be talking about her red-headed friend, Lindsey, and it disgusted Olivia to know Smoke continued forcing his way with her. At least she hadn’t been passed around, although Lindsey had been consistently sexually abused by Smoke according to these assholes.

“Well, what do we do? I say we leave this place and round up the survivors later. Any of them that make it through the night will be too exhausted to even move.”

“Let’s take a run into town and see if we can scare up some tail. Maybe we’ll run into Krass on the way.”

“Yea, that shithead probably ran into town instead of guarding the perimeter. He’s been gone for hours, like our fearless leader, who happens to take off whenever it gets wild and bloody. I’ve had enough of Smoke slamming me around anyway. Nothing’s tying me to that ugly fucker.”

Olivia heard them undress and shift. She also knew they’d be coming in her direction to get back into town. It was the only one close enough for them to make before dawn. She dug into the snow just off the snowmobile track and covered herself to bury her scent. They came in wolf-form as she knew they would, sniffing around her. She knew the wolves followed her scent to the edge of the cliff and back again. They began digging close to her until another heart-rending scream echoed around them.

Barely breathing for fear of giving herself away, she lay completely still. Olivia sensed their curiosity, but also their overriding desire to gain distance from the shrill screams that continued to rend the air. She allowed her mind to think of Chance, hoping him, Jasmine, and the others were safe. Both wolves snorted, one after the other, as if signaling, and then they ran off. She waited a few minutes before digging herself out and then high-tailed it upward to those in pain.

Olivia followed the wolves’ tracks up to the ledge and to the pelt covered entrance of a cave. She pulled the pelts aside and looked in. Her breath left her lungs in a gush of air and any contents of her stomach rushed to her throat for release. Olivia let go of the entrance cover, dashed to the edge of the cliff, and retched. The stench of whatever happened inside racked her senses. Images sprang into her mind as she stood outside the entrance. Beings covered in blood, pools of deep red blood, broken bones bent in awkward positions, poking through flesh or fur, internal tissue seething from gaping wounds, half-human and half-wolf, some still transforming and some lifeless with empty staring eyes. Tears rolled down her cheeks, a sob broke free, and she retched again.
