“We should have long talks like these more often,” Jayna said before going to help her friend.
“Yeah, maybe,” Darren said.
“Maybe next time we won't have to do so much talking,” Jayna said.
Darren didn't respond.
He didn't say no, either. For Jayna, that was enough. That was confirmation that she could have him if she wanted.
Later that night, Korie was the one who had too much to drink. Jayna drove Eula home and then drove Korie home. Jayna insisted that night that Korie drink, knowing she was a lightweight when it came to liquor. Korie came home and collapsed on the couch. Darren carried her to bed. He offered to drive Jayna home. She declined. She said she didn't want to put him out. Darren was upset that Korie allowed herself to get that intoxicated, that out of control. He thanked Jayna for her help and said that he would see her in the morning.
He closed their bedroom door. His thoughts were consumed with Jayna's earlier behavior.
About 4:00 in the morning, just as the sun began to rise, Darren heard noise from the living room. It was a slight whimpering noise. He got up and looked in on Jayna, who was playing with herself on their living room couch and letting out soft moans as she did. He watched her. Even though her eyes were closed, she had to know he was there. She had to. For quite some time he watched. Eventually she looked up. She didn't stop. She smiled seductively at him.
She asked him to join her.
He told her to get dressed.
It wasn't a request.
It was a demand.
He wouldn't betray his woman any more than he had. He decided this madness needed to stop. He started to awaken Korie but thought better of it. He was a man and as a man, he needed to do the right thing.
He took her home. It was a long and silent ride, but he took her home. They didn't speak the entire time. He took her home and as he pulled up in front of her place, she apologized. Darren said nothing. She explained that she just wanted what Korie had. She explained that it was a mistake and tried to blame it on the liquor. Still, Darren said nothing. He wanted to, but he knew that he was just as guilty as she was. Jayna cried. She was ashamed and embarrassed.
“Are you going to tell Korie?” She had a look of guilt across her face.
Darren said nothing.
“I need to know if you're going to tell Korie.”
Again, they sat in silence. He gave her a fierce look.
“I made a mistake. She's my best friend and I can't afford to lose her.”
“She's your only friend.” His voice was stern.
“You're right. Okay, you're right. If you tell her you'll be taking away a friendship of more than twenty years.”
“I won't be taking away anything. If your friendship is damaged, that will be on you.”
He was cold in his response.
“And how do you think she'll see you?”
“I don't know.”
“You're just as guilty as I am. It's clear that you were tempted to cross the line.”
“True, but as her best friend, there should have been no offer and no line for me to cross.”
“Are you going to tell her? Please don't. But I need to know, are you going to tell her?”
“No. I should, but I'm not. Now get out.”
She was relieved that she wasn't about to lose her best friend, but in the same token she was jealous, mad, and bitter all at once. Part of her wanted him to tell her. At least, then Korie wouldn't be so happy.
In Jayna's mind, things came too easily to Korie. Jayna had the better body. Jayna was the more attractive of the two, but there was something about Korie that made good men look at her. Jayna might get the more attractive men, but over the years it seemed that Korie always made the better choices. Even now, with her having thrown herself at Korie's man, Korie still had a good man. Darren could've slept with her. Jayna would have quickly given herself to him in Korie's house had he pursued it. But he didn't. He turned her down. He turned her away. This upset her.
After being spurned and rejected, Jayna began to resent Darren. Darren was glad to have her out of the house. He was admittedly tempted. He always wanted to sleep with Jayna. He had always lusted for a taste of her honey just once. His love for Korie, however, was greater than his lust for Jayna. It was a secret that he kept for years. It was a secret that ate away at him over the years. When he left Korie, Jayna was happy. She was happy to know that Darren was like any other man—trifling. She never knew Korie's side of things or her transgressions. All she knew was that Darren hurt her girl and that was enough for her. Jayna didn't know it, but Darren was back. He came back to claim his woman as a good man should.

“Why do you hate Jayna so much?” Korie asked.
Korie's question brought Darren back to the present.
“I have my reasons. But never mind her. What about us?”
“Darren, there is no us. I need you to leave.”
Korie got up and headed to the door. She opened it and had a look of regret as she ushered him to go. He stood up and headed to the door.
“Close the door for a minute.”
“Darren, I—”
“Just close the door for a minute.” His voice was smooth and seductive. “Korie, please.”
She closed the door.
He took off his shirt.
“What are you—?”
“Just check me out for a minute.”
Next he took off his shoes and pants. He stood there sporting a twelve-pack midsection in nothing more than his Calvin Klein boxers. His bulge was pointing north at her. He looked like a male model in a magazine. The sight of his body took her breath away.
“Korie . . . tell me you don't miss this.”
He moved his pecs up and down and flexed every ripple in his stomach. He ran his fingers down his ripped midsection and looked at her seductively. He smiled at her confidently. He reeked of Aqua Di Gio cologne by Armani, her favorite scent.
Every muscle in his body looked as if it were sculpted from granite. His Hershey-colored skin was smooth and flawless. He looked more than good. He looked fine. Fine enough to eat and fine enough for her to have her every way with him. And he didn't need the assistance of little blue pills. All he needed was a glance at her. She was his Viagra. She was his motivation. Her heart rate increased, her mind wandered, and she wasn't even aware that she had a lustful look on her face as she looked at him.
Not to be outdone, Korie, though speechless, was equally confident. She had been working out for the last year and had been working out hard. In a bold move, she took off her robe, revealing her teddy and her shapely legs. Darren was stunned at how good she looked. She looked like something out of his dreams.
She took in a nervous breath as she took the spaghetti straps off of her teddy and tried to let it fall to the floor. The only problem was the delicate material was stopped on its way down by her curvaceous bottom. Her butt was too big for the teddy to hit the floor.
“Oops” she said.
She wiggled her hips from side to side to get the teddy to fall the rest of the way to the floor, but her bottom was too big. She then pulled the material up again and over her head. She tossed it to the floor and looked at him as if to say, now what?
She looked at him confidently and pointed to her own incredible body with her index fingers.
“Tell me you don't miss this!” She nodded her head as if to say, you better recognize.
Darren looked at her well-toned abs, her dynamic legs, and her baby-making hips. He looked at her taut chest and the V where her legs met. She looked absolutely breathtaking. He was confident, arrogant. That is, until he saw what Korie was working with. The years had been kind to her. She looked good, she smelled good, and he was quite sure she tasted good. To be sure, he wanted to see. He wanted to taste her, to devour her.
“Damn!” He licked his lips as he looked at her.
He thought he said damn in his head. He said it out loud. He grabbed her and kissed her; slowly, passionately. He kissed her like he was never going to see her again. He walked over to the stereo and turned on the radio. He picked her up in his arms and kissed her as he carried her to the counter in the kitchen. He placed her on the counter and kissed her eyelids, her earlobes, her lips, and her neck.
His hands found her breasts. They were full. They were plump. His mouth took her chocolate-colored nipples and kissed them, sucked them, and played with them. Korie let out soft sighs of pleasure as he kissed the entire front of her body. He grabbed a fistful of her hair and kissed her neck as his fingers found her wet sex. In and out he pleased her as he whispered to her how beautiful she was; how much he missed her.
Soft music was playing as he picked her up again. His muscular arms picked her up and both hands cupped her bottom as he lifted her up and lowered her onto his sex while still standing up. She wrapped her hands around him as he slowly went inside her. Her mouth opened and her jaw extended as she caught her breath with his penetration.
He was thick like she remembered.
Long like she remembered.
He hit her spot.
It had been a long time since someone hit her spot.
It had been way too long.
His manhood went there. His manhood remembered. It was a perfect fit, like it belonged there. It was as if there was a certain combination inside of her that only he had the combination to.
He stroked her slowly, methodically and gently. The first strokes were gentle. Those that followed were not. Her juices flowed. Her juices flowed as if he had tapped a well. Her juices flowed to express her pleasure and to accommodate him.
He started off slowly, passionately, as he made love to her. He kissed her, ran his hands alongside her body, and he touched her everywhere.
He kissed her everywhere.
He made love to her.
Then he fucked her.
Three more songs had played. By that time, they moved to the bedroom. She was on top of him. Her back was to him. He had the perfect view of her ample ass, her music-video ass, his ass.
He watched as she rocked back and forth, watched her juices lubricate his thickness. When she threw her hips into the mix, he smacked her hard on the ass. Darren placed his hands on her waist and began to move to her rhythm. He wasn't panting, wasn't out of breath, and he wasn't trying to slow her down. His passion matched her ferocity. He forced himself deeper inside of her. She fucked him. He fucked back. She bounced up and down on his sex and he watched. He watched it and he loved it.
Another song began to play when she turned to face him. She continued to ride him. His hands found her ass and helped her move on top of him. Again, they kissed. Again, their tongues met. They kissed, they talked, they whispered, and they moaned.
“I missed you. Everyday I missed you. Baby, I'm sorry. I love you. I love you. I love you.”
Over and over and over again he told her how much he missed her, how much he loved her and what a fool he was, and how he was nothing without her.
Tears streamed down her face.
He kissed her tears.
She kissed his.
They continued to make love.
They made love and they fucked.
She came. She came vaginally on top of him. She gasped for air and her nipples hardened as she screamed his name and dug her nails into his flesh.
“I missed you too. Damn you . . . I missed you too,” she whispered.
She fell forward on him. She kissed his neck and his chest. He stayed inside her while kissing her, caressing her. His hands ran alongside her body, across her back, and found her ass again.
He gave her time to recuperate. He held her.
When the next song began playing, he was grinding ever so slowly inside of her while she was on top of him. His penis never lost its girth, it never went limp. It was as if his manhood was home. When he began to grind again, blood flowed to her vagina. Life flowed to her vagina. Renewed pleasure flowed to her vagina. They made love on the couch with her on top.
Minutes later she came again. Shortly after that, they went at it again.
It was doggie-style behind the recliner chair.
Woman superior again on the couch.
Side to side on the floor.
And missionary anywhere that could support her weight.
Finally he came. He collapsed in the chair. She knelt before him. She took him into her mouth, bringing his flaccid penis back to life. She resuscitated it. She brought it back to full power. Again she rode him. Again she came. She slept on the carpeted floor and he slept beside her. They had a nap.
