Tianna Xander and Bonnie Rose Leigh

your mating night, Laynee. Blessed Be.
Laynee closed her eyes and sighed. She knew the Lady Goddess was right. She could not worry about the others. This night was about her and her mates and the unbreakable bond they’d forge together. Once she managed to push all negative thoughts and worries aside, she opened her eyes and looked over at her two mates. Her heartbeat pounded out a rapid beat and she knew she could trust them with all the she was and would ever be. She vowed she wouldn’t let them—or herself—

down. She would do everything they asked of her, anything to prove her love to them.

Soon, cloaked figures moved from the cover of the trees, silently approaching them. Dozens of people calmly walked toward them, their faces and genders hidden by the heavy robes they wore. How long had they hidden behind the foliage, watching them? And why did the thought of them watching unseen disturb her more than the fact they’d watch her make love to her men?

Soon, she and her mates were surrounded, encircled by the robed witnesses. As one, they reached out, clasping their hands, one to the next to the next until a circle formed around them. No one spoke, no one so much as moved once they formed their circle. In fact, only the whisper of wind through the trees and her own harsh breathing broke the unnatural silence. 74

Sex Me Down

Two robed figures approached from the tree line. Ducking beneath the clasped hands, they entered the stone circle, stopping only a few feet before them. One wore a robe of red, the other green.

Though she couldn’t see their faces, she could feel their penetrating stares, felt them searching inside her soul into the very heart of her. Even though she wore a yellow sarong that adequately covered her, she felt naked and exposed beneath their searching gaze.

“Who petitions the council of
Savar
to bond with this woman?” the man wearing red asked.

“We do, illustrious priest, druid of the
Non
,”

Sayre answered for them both as he and Fane each reached out and grabbed her hands, pulling her to stand beside them rather than slightly behind them as custom dictated.

The green robed figure lowered his hood. Only a slight gasp announced Laynee’s surprise when she discovered the council member was female. Apparently, Sayre hadn’t told her everything about tonight, though in his defense, he probably didn’t think the sex of the officiators important enough to mention. “Who petitions the council of
Savar
to bond with these men?” She stared at Laynee, waiting for an answer and the circle of witnesses stilled. Even the winds quieted in anticipation.
