trilogy

CHAPTER ONE

“Have you seen my white button-down?” Melanie called to Andy just as she heard the shower come on. She was searching through the proverbial drawer that she had at Andy’s place for the shirt she wanted to wear. She had an interview at work for a possible promotion. It had only been two months since she started working at the office, but she had excelled pretty quickly. It was amazing what she could accomplish when she wasn’t drinking.

She stomped into the bathroom and crossed her arms. She was still in her pajamas, and she could feel her anxiety rising as time ticked on. It was a good thing she had gotten up extra early, just in case.

Andy poked his head out the side of the shower curtain and gave a mischievous grin. “Can I help you, miss?” he asked. Melanie kept her arms crossed and tried not to smile. But it didn’t last long as the side of her mouth began to twitch.

“Have you seen my white button-down shirt? I was really hoping to wear it for the interview.” She asked the question half-heartedly, as if she were expecting him not to have the answer.

“Hmm, I don’t know, babe, maybe it’s in here.” He suddenly reached over and scooped her up, pulling her into the shower with him. She squealed -- her hair and pajamas soaked in the shower -- as he kissed her neck with his arm wrapped around her waist. She tried to push him off, annoyed that he was delaying her, but then he pulled her in closer and harder. She could feel his wet body pressing into her.

Melanie shook her head and began to laugh as Andy planted a few kisses on her cheeks and then a passionate one on her lips. Her muscles relaxed as she gave in, seeing how she had overreacted. She let Andy peel her wet pajamas off of her and throw them down to the bottom of the shower. That left his hard member poking into her abdomen.

She looked at him seductively, glad for the early morning distraction, and slowly squatted down to the floor. Sometimes, she forgot how to relax.

Her black tendrils were sopping wet and covered her face as she placed her hand on the back of his shaft and brought her mouth in to wrap it around the head. She felt him relax as she started to suck on him while swirling her tongue around on his skin. He smelled like fresh strawberries courtesy of the body wash she had bought for them to share.

She felt his hands in her hair, pulling it every which way as she took a little more of him into her mouth. The warm water trickled down her face and back, and she began to feel a little turned on herself.

As if on cue, Andy yanked her off of him, pulling her to her feet. She could see traces of a grin through the wall wet hair blocking her view. Before she had a chance to move it out of the way he spun her around and threw her up against the wall then pulled on her hips a little. He gave her ass a slap before she felt him penetrate her deeply.

He didn’t waste time with starting slow , and she had to grab onto the bar for support. He thrusted back and forth, making her hips buck towards the wall and her feet slip back and forth on the wet tile. She could feel his skin slap against her ass and her breasts shook with the force.

She felt one hand come around to cup the left breast, playing with her nipple and making her moan. He mixed a little pain with pleasure as he pinched it hard and then used his other hand to take a handful of her hair. He pulled it, yanked it with each thrust, using it as leverage to get even deeper. Her mouth opened in ecstasy as her breath sped up feeling him banging inside of her.

He twisted her hair around his wrist, yanking her neck back, making it feel as if it were going to come right off her head. It was a sweet sort of roughness. Andy grunted, using all his strength, making her whole body shake around harder. She called to him, feeling his cock pressing against her G-spot, and then she could feel her whole body take over as it shivered. The climax came over her in waves, her body going from hot to cold and hot again simultaneously. She screamed and dug her nails into the shower wall.

With a feral growl, Andy climaxed inside of her, filling her up with his warmth.

He slowly pulled himself away from her and turned her back around for a sweet kiss on the lips. She smiled up at him, biting her lip out of habit before climbing out of the shower. His hand tapped her ass cheek as she walked away, dabbing herself with a towel. Her eyes caught site of the clock and grew wide, and she put herself into gear, rushing around to find something else nice to wear. There would be no time to find the shirt she had been hoping for.

It was just as well, she had been stressing herself out too much over the whole thing anyway. She found herself giggling thinking about her and Andy in the shower as she picked up a red blouse and threw it over her head.

It was the picture perfect blissful morning, one of a couple who had gotten serious enough that she spent just as many nights sleeping over at his place as she did at her own, if not more. Melanie couldn’t pinpoint a specific day or time when it happened, it had just turned out that way slowly. They hadn’t told each other they were in love yet, but Melanie felt it might be just around the corner, or maybe even already implied.

They seemed to share everything. They went to every AA meeting together unless he was on a run, and he always gave her money and took her shopping. Sometimes, Melanie felt like she was taking advantage of his wealth, of his company in that way. But now that she was really making some money, she had promised him a date totally paid for by her. He had insisted on planning it, though. She went along with that idea since she didn’t want to strip him of his manhood, so to speak.

She pulled on her black pumps and pencil skirt, grabbing her jacket to leave. She didn’t have much time left to get out of there. She saw Andy pass through the hall on the way to his bedroom. “Okay, I’m going to go now.” He vaguely waved at her with his head down in his phone, sending a text. “Don’t you want to wish me luck?” she asked him with a hint of sensuality, but he didn’t really respond.

“Good luck!” he called after her as she opened the door to go. Melanie found herself wondering if something was going on with Andy. It was strange that one minute they were enjoying each other in the shower and the next Andy became distant, not even giving her the usual kiss goodbye.

She wanted to tell herself she was just overreacting, reading way too much into the situation. He didn’t have to tell her goodbye with a hug and kiss every morning. But, he usually did even on a normal morning. This was a special morning, and he might as well have been on another planet. And it wasn’t the only incident that had happened in the last week. He’d been that way since coming back from his last big run. She kept thinking she should ask him if something happened, but then she felt she was pushing and prying.

She shrugged it off as she pulled up to the office, plastering a smile on her face. She needed to be at her best to get this promotion, one she wanted very badly. She would see how the date went later and ask him then if it seemed necessary.

***

Melanie couldn’t control her excitement as she came barreling into Andy’s apartment. She had done really well in the interview and had been told it was definitely between her and another person who had less experience. She practically had the promotion already. “Andy!” she called out, ready to tell him the good news. But there was no response.

She decided to go look around in the apartment to see if he was asleep or if there was a not for her. Something told her it was going to be another addition to his new strange behavior, but she had to keep up hope that it wasn’t. She saw his phone laying on the nightstand, and then she got really worried. His motorcycle was parked outside, and his phone was here. Where would he have gone without those two necessities?

She picked up the phone to see that it was dead. That might explain leaving it behind. Then, she heard the door open, and breathed a sigh of relief. He must have run to the store real quick to garb something. Sure enough, she saw him with two new packs of cigarettes and a bag of chips.

“Oh, hey, Andy, great news! I’m pretty sure I got the job.” She was practically jumping up and down, but he just stood there, pulling out a cigarette like he was about to step outside again to smoke it. “You’ve been going through a lot of those lately. I don’t mean to pry, but is everything alright? You can talk to me about anything.”

As he looked back at her, she could see that he wasn’t really there with her in the room. For the first time, she noticed bags under his eyes as if he hadn’t been sleeping. Shouldn’t she have noticed that? It was weird how she was missing things lately, not knowing what was going on with him. “Oh, I’m just feeling a little stress at work. It’s no big deal. It’ll pass.” He waved his hand in the air as if to clear it of the issue and the conversation topic.

“So, where are we going tonight?” Melanie tried to change the subject to something more cheerful to see if she could make herself feel better. She hated the idea that something that felt so perfect and healthy could be turning into something distance and strange. Hopefully it would just pass, like he said. She’d have to trust him.

“It’s a surprise. Go home and get ready, and I’ll bring the bike by to pick you up in a couple of hours, okay?” He smiled at her, making her feel a little better, though she couldn’t help but notice it didn’t quite reach his eyes.

***

“So, we’ve got a big job coming up this week,” Andy informed Melanie with the look of excitement in his eyes. He was practically bouncing in his seat at the movie theater. Melanie found herself feeling a bit hyped up too. She was pretty sure they’d been going 20 over the speed limit all the way to the theater. She did feel silly for doubting him since he seemed to be in a much better mood, and the surprise had been a good one.

He’d brought her to the new movie theater across town, the one that had big cushy seats, waiters, and huge screens. It was an expensive place, she had remembered that, but she was proud to actually have the money to pay for it now.

Melanie leaned over and kissed Andy square on the mouth and smiled. “Thank you, Andy. This really is a great surprise.” She squeezed his hand which was sweaty. Was he nervous about the run coming up? She knew he’d been doing a lot more lately. It seemed the Colombians were using Satan’s Cubs MC exclusively.

“Is everything alright, Andy?” she asked as the room got dark and the previews began. He lifted his hand that she was holding so he could kiss the back of her hand before letting go.

“Yeah, just hungry and happy to be here with you of course.” She couldn’t help but smile at his sweet answer even though he was acting a little strange. She pressed the call button for the waiter and sat back in her seat, waiting for the movie to begin.

CHAPTER TWO

Andy walked into a house at the end of a dark street. He was on the not so nice side of the suburbs where two of the members of Satan’s Cubs MC lived together; Zoey and Daniel Marshal. They were some of the newer members, only having joined in the last eight months. Despite what he had thought when he first met them they were not a couple. They were actually brother and sister. Needless to say, they had an odd relationship.

He pulled out a cigarette and popped it in his mouth. Judging by the cloud of smoke that was already covering the den area, they didn’t care if he smoked inside. So, he lit up right there, knowing full well it wasn’t going to work as a deterrent like he was trying to use it for. He didn’t usually come to these parties that some of the members had. Drugs were everywhere at the parties, including cocaine. Deep down he knew exactly why he’d showed up this time, why he had asked Frank when and where it was.

He had already done a line the last two runs, this last time was with Frank and the Colombians. He had finally gotten a hold of some for himself, just enough to do a line at his house. He couldn’t believe he’d risked that with Melanie there all the time, but he was getting desperate, shaky, needy. He couldn’t go more than a week without it, and he had a feeling that window was about to get smaller.

“Andy, buddy, welcome to the party!” Frank called, jumping up from a game of poker to slap Andy on the back. Andy automatically looked around for Rebecca and her purple hair. He didn’t see her anywhere.

“Where’s Rebecca?” he asked Frank, not used to seeing him without his wife by his side.

“Oh, she’s at home doing her nails or reading a book. Who knows? She never comes with me to these things. It’s not really her scene, you know? But I’m so glad you could finally make it. It always feels lonely here without you.” That statement had to make Andy wonder if Frank was already high. It seemed stupid and cheesy, which just annoyed him. Of course, it could have to do with the fact that he was totally on edge.

“Don’t say shit like that,” he snapped out without thinking. He knew what his problem was, what he needed, but he wasn’t willing to admit it.

“Whoa, buddy, I think you need a hit for sure. Look, I’m going to go back to the game and let them know to be ready to deal you a hand. Zoey is in the basement with the stuff. Go take your happy pill and come up and meet me for the game. Trust me, you’ll feel better.” Andy felt himself relax and let out a breath he didn’t know he was holding at the thought. Frank had said it for him, admitted it for him. It was going to be okay.

He took the left turn that led him down the stairs into the basement. It was loud down there with music blasting and bodies scattered throughout the room. Some people were kissing in corners, some dancing in the middle of the crowd, others were sitting at the table and doing a line or even smoking their pipes. It was a pretty young crowd as compared to upstairs, but he spotted Zoey on the couch taking a wad of cash from some young girl. That’s where he needed to be.

“Andy!” she called, standing up to greet him with a kiss on each cheek. She was definitely a character. “Won’t you please have a seat and tell me what I can help you with?”

Andy’s hands were shoved in his pockets to control them. They were jittery, and he hated it. “Where’s your brother?” he asked, delaying the inevitable.

“He went on a beer run, so you have me all to yourself. Well, other than Angelica here, that is.” She patted the young girl she had just dealt to on the thigh. He assumed that must be Angelica. She looked so young, like she might still be in high school. It made him rack his brain for when he had first tried cocaine. Was he 21 or 22? He couldn’t remember. But he cursed that day. “How about you just sit back and relax, and I’ll let you try the house blend for free, okay?”

Andy let Zoey push him back on the couch, and he tried to relax himself as she busied herself making a line for him. He sighed deeply, knowing it was time to let go. It felt so good to just admit to himself that he had no power of this, that he couldn’t control it anymore. He was spiraling downward again, and he needed this drug, needed it badly. It was such a comfort to finally let go and admit to himself that he was an addict, a slave to this seductive white powder. The ironic thing was, this step in the AA process was only going to lead him further into the addiction instead of out of it.

Zoey passed him a tightly rolled twenty dollar bill as he yanked his hands free of his pocket. He willed his hand to stop shaking and sent a silent message letting it know everything would be okay soon.

He ignored the sultry smile that played on Zoey’s lips. Instead, he went straight for the line, snorting it up, not letting even a speck remain on the table. He was greedy. It all had to be his. “How do you feel?” Zoey asked, as he lifted his head from the table. The world had slowed down, and his hands didn’t feel like they were having a seizure. He could hear the music thumping to a beat all around him. He felt like the walls were pulsing with it, like the world was pulsing with it.

“I feel fucking great, actually,” he boomed, looking back at Zoey.

“Well, I’m glad I could be of service to you, Andy.” Andy stood up, suddenly feeling like he could run a marathon, like he wanted to run a marathon. He settled instead for dancing. There was trance music coming through the speakers, but he didn’t know how to rave, so he just jumped up and down to the music, full of a new sort of energy.

He could hear laughter around him, the happiness he had forgotten, and joined in, his arms waving in the air. He suddenly wished that Melanie was there to dance with him so he could have his hands all over her body while they grinded to the beat. He would tell her how great he felt. He could just hop on his bike with her and keep driving forever, feel the wind in his hair, show her what it was like to be him right then.

Out of the corner of his eye he could see that Zoey and the young girl, whatever her name had been, were in a lip lock. As he continued to dance, bumping into people that were now filling up the basement in its entirety, he watched with a strange fascination as the two rolled around on the couch with each other and Zoey took the girl’s sweater off.

He could feel himself slowing down. How long had it been since he’d had the line? He couldn’t quite put his finger on the time, and he was starting to feel a little blue watching the women making out on the couch. What would it be like to kiss someone right now? He wished he had someone there for him to kiss him like that, to run their hands all over his body. But he knew that he couldn’t, that the girl he wanted would never stick around for such debauchery.

He could no longer stand to dance another second. He walked back over to the couch and plopped down next to Zoey and the girl who had taken her shirt off by then. There was barely enough room, and their legs were tangled together on his lap.

His eyes, however, were trained to the table where the bag of cocaine sat out, staring at him, teasing him.

Zoey must have come up for air because she was now sitting upright next to him and rubbing on his shoulders. “This one won’t be free, but we’ll do it with you it you’d like.” Andy looked up at her smiling face, and it reminded him of Melanie again. What would she think about all of this? Thank goodness he had a run the next day so he didn’t have to face her.

He nodded reluctantly, knowing he wasn’t going to make it through the rest of the party if he didn’t have more. He would have another line and then go up and play poker with the guys.

He watched as Zoey pulled the girl up and said something in another language; Japanese perhaps. The younger girl began to pour out cocaine for the both of them, passing them both a straw and a razor blade. Andy began dragging the white powder into a line, making sure it was perfect. Then, he waited for the other two to be ready.

“To us,” Zoey said before all three dipped their heads down, inserting the straws in their nostrils and inhaling. It felt even better the second time around, filling him up with a newfound happiness. He was okay where he was again, ready to let go and have a good time.

Zoey reached over and wiped a trickle of blood out from under his nose. It had been too long since he’d done that much, and he’d bled a bit. Zoey teased him with the possibility of drinking his blood, pretending to lick it off her finger. The young girl was already kissing all over Zoey. Andy could feel himself wanting to join in, to feel a woman’s touch. He craved their bodies, their soft skin.

It felt like an electrical current was running through him, as he felt Zoey touch his leg again. She eyeballed him while the young girl slid her hands into Zoey’s clothes. It was an erotic moment, and all Andy could feel was a pulsing through his body. He forgot about everything other than that moment, that great feeling he had running through his veins.

“Andy, Andy!” He heard his name being called, but he ignored it. It was ruining his vision and it threatened to ruin his high too.

Then, Frank appeared before him and removed Zoey’s hand. Andy yelled something inaudible in Frank’s direction but didn’t stand. Frank pulled him up from the couch, jarring Andy out of his trance.

“Andy, I think you’re done for the night. We have a run tomorrow, remember?” Andy looked around him as if getting his bearings. “You’ll want to be ready, it’s a big one. Besides, I’m sure the Colombians will want you to save some of your partying for them, am I right?” Andy saw the smile on Frank’s face and thought about it. He didn’t like that what Frank was saying sounded logical.

He let Frank lead him up the stairs and out the door to where they had both parked their motorcycles. “C’mon, Andy, let’s get you home, Yeah?”

A frightening thought hit Andy at the mention of home and he shook his head rapidly. “Melanie,” he said, and Frank nodded in understanding.

“It’s okay, Andy. Melanie is probably in bed. It’s after midnight. Look, I’m sorry for pulling you away, but I couldn’t let you cheat on her, man. I couldn’t let you ruin it. She’s too good a thing to fuck this up, Yeah?”

Andy nodded, feeling the effects of the drug start to wear off, leaving him depressed. Hopefully it meant he wouldn’t show any signs of a high when he made it home. Hopefully, he could get in bed without waking her up.

He hopped on his bike and started the engine, slowly pulling the helmet over his head. “I’ll meet you tomorrow, Andy. We’re gonna have a good run, I can feel it.” Andy drove off towards his house, suddenly glad to be out of that neighborhood and away from Zoey. He couldn’t let his mind go back there at the moment. He had to focus. The Colombians were using them more and more as they trusted them, and if he didn’t stay focused the consequences could be dangerous.
