Finally making it through dinner without jumping her, we take a limo over to the Chapel of Love stopping by a florist on the way. We decided against Elvis marrying us and went with a traditional minister and the fine folks there to be our witnesses. As the music begins to play, I turn from the front of the room and watch the most beautiful woman walk down the short aisle, with a bouquet of assorted colored roses and baby’s breath in her hand and the widest smile on her face. I take her hand as she reaches me, and we turn to face the minister. His message is short and sweet, and we then turn to face each other and hold hands.

“My beauty. How can I tell you how much I love you? How much you mean to me? There aren’t enough words. I was a lost and broken man when I first saw you and instantly you brought light into my dark and lonely world. I was on the fast track to destruction and you stopped me and gave me hope. I never thought you would love me back but you did and then filled my heart. My heart would stop beating if you hadn’t trusted me, let your walls down and loved me. You complete me, beauty. I love you more than my life.”

I slip the ring on her finger, next to her diamond ring. I found this one with the same cut diamonds wrapped around in a band and I knew it would go perfectly with her ring. My eyes move up to her tear filled ones and her chin quivers as they begin to trickle down her face.

“My sexy rocker man. I never thought I would find love. Someone to take care of me and put up with my bitchiness. Someone who loves me for me. And then you stumbled, literally, into my life and I thank God for that. Words cannot express the gratitude I have for you for taking the time and love to tear down my stubborn walls. I want to grow old with you, have babies with you and have you by my side when I take my last breath. I love you, my sexy rocker man, my love, my soul-mate forever.”

I’m sniffing as she puts a similar band on my finger and am shocked again on how much in sync we are. Soul-mates forever. Never a truer statement. I bend down and kiss her tummy whispering words of my love for our baby.

The minister pronounces us husband and wife, and I don’t hesitate to kiss my bride to the point where the minister starts clearing his throat loudly. It doesn’t take us long to pay them and get back into the waiting limo, heading for a night filled with showing our love for each other. I send a text on the way and lean back in the seat, my arm around my wife. Finally, I get to carry her over the threshold for real. Our lips are locked together, but I stop after kicking the door shut so she can see her surprise. Candles lit everywhere in the living area of the suite. Rose petals in the same assorted colors as her bouquet flooding all over the carpet. A bottle of sparkling grape soda iced in a silver bucket placed on a small table next to the couch with two wine glasses, and chocolate covered strawberries with whipped cream on a silver platter and also two beautifully wrapped presents sitting on the coffee table.

“Oh, my!” She gasps as I set her down, both her hands covering her mouth. “Baby, this is a-mazing!” She looks up at me, her eyes already wet with tears and throws her arms around me. I pick her up, her legs clasping around my waist, and carry her into the bedroom. I set her down and we both frantically undress each other, kissing in between, and then I pick her up again and laid her down gently, making sure her head is on the pillow. We make love slowly and passionately, then have hot as fuck kinky sex and basically wear each other out by morning. Never did get to drink any of the sparkling grape soda, nor did she get to open her presents, but I did manage to into sneak in the living area and grab the platter of chocolate covered strawberries and the whipped cream. We definitely had some fun with that!

Chapter Twenty Four

To begin the first morning of our marriage, I rolled in a huge cart full of every kind of breakfast food imaginable with milk, juice and coffee for me, and a single red rose in a small vase for my beauty. Leaning over her on the bed, I kiss all over her face, her smile appearing and her mouth finding mine while her arms move above her head in a stretch. “Morning Mrs. Williams. And how is my beauty this lovely morning?”

She looks at me with such love in her eyes and yawns. “Oh, Mr. Williams. You plum wore me out last night,” she says with a giggle. Her fingernail brushes against my beard. “But what a glorious way to be worn out.” She giggles again and pushes me lightly with her hand on my chest. “I’ve got to use the bathroom, sexy. Like now.” I move back and take her hand, helping her up and watch her beautiful perfect body walk into the bathroom.

We have the best time in Vegas. Yeah, well. We really didn’t get to see Vegas. We stayed in our room the whole time we were there, except for the time she had to go shopping in The Mirage gift shops. Hey, but that was only for an hour because I kept taunting her with my sexiness until she couldn’t take it anymore. What can I say? Sue me.

Finally, we’re at the airport at home. She is walking in front of me to the car, swinging her cute ass, and I sneak up behind her and smack it. “Owwww!” She yells as she jumps, giggling and then runs to the car. I unlock her door from my key fob right in time for her to open it and hop in. Once we’re home and out of the car, I pick her giggling ass up and walk to the front door. The door swings open and there’s the whole gang standing in the entry way and yelling
‘Congratulations’
.
Huh? How did they know?
I come back to reality when I feel Pax smacking my chest and telling me to put her down, still giggling. I set her down gently, and Mom is there in an instant gathering me into a hug.

“Oh, son. You little devil carting your fiancée off to Vegas and getting married.” She leans up and kisses my cheek. “I’m so happy for you.” Looking at her, I see the tears in her eyes but her face soft with a huge smile.

Mom steps back when Shane walks up and hits me on the shoulder, hard. My hand reaching over and I start rubbing the pain away. “Damn, mate. Congrats, but shit, thought I’d been standing up with you, best mate and all.”

“Well, I…” Jesse is next to us quickly and hitting my other arm. Now my other hand starts rubbing there, my shoulder still aching from Shanes hit.

“Running off. Can’t believe it. Now what am I gonna do with the tux I bought?” He says laughing.

I shake my head and look around to see Pax being hugged and congratulated by all the girls. Damn, everyone is here. Mom, Stanley, Shane, Allie, Jesse, Cassie and the twins and Lana, Beverly and Alan.

“How did you all know?” I cross my arms and crease my brows. “What tipped you off?”

Shane rests his arm on Jesses shoulder. “Well, mate. You shouldn’t leave itineraries laying around the house. Beverly found it when she was cleaning and started contacting all of us.”

“Come on everyone. Let’s move into the living room. We have tons of food and drinks. Let’s get the celebration really started!” Beverly calls out. As I start walking to the living room, Shane’s hand is on my arm pulling me. I see my beauty wink at me and the smile on her face priceless. I sit on the couch, next to Pax, her arm sliding through mine, and I couldn’t be happier ever in my life as I am right this minute. My heart is full of the love I have for her but then I look at Mom, back in my life, at Stanley, her new man and at all our friends. I can’t believe how my life has turned around. Never did I imagine that I would go from a starving hard knocks kid to this.

“So, you skipped out of having a real wedding with all your loved ones, all the work we’ve been doing to get it put together, and ran off and got married.” Beverly says with her hands on her hips. “I’m happy for you but I have to say I’m a little disappointed. Ok, I’m a lot disappointed. There I said it.”

I lean over to my love’s ear and whisper and she giggles and smiles at me. “Mom, everyone, we still want the wedding. We just couldn’t wait! It was kind of a spur of the moment thing and it was so much fun.” Pax looks at me, kisses me quick and then looks back at her mom and mine. “But we want the wedding with all of you too. Is that ok?” Her mom races over to her, hugs and kisses her and then cups her face.

“Oh, honey! Of course it’s ok. It will be a wedding to remember! Now, I’m happy again.” She pinches her cheeks and then runs off to my mom. “Lily, we have work to do. Let’s chat while we eat.” Mom nods, smiling, and winks at me. They fill their plates and head off to the kitchen.

“Pax, we really need to talk about everything from your trip!” Allie says while Lana and Cassie nods. Pretty soon I lost my girl to them as they fill their plates and then go into the dining room, giggling and laughing.

I look up just in time for Shane to hand me a beer. After taking a big drink, I start telling them about our trip, well, I didn’t tell them everything.
Sheesh!

Later that night, alone in our bed, my beauty and I lay there all snuggled up. “Wow, what a great day,” she says while yawning. “We have the best friends and family.” I pull her closer, her arm wraps around my waist and squeezes. “I’m so happy. I don’t think I could be any happier. I love you.” Her head moves up to mine and our mouths connect immediately until she yawns again.

I can’t help but laugh. “Beauty, you and baby need some sleep. I’m the happiest I’ve ever been in my life. I love you so much. Now…” My fingers push her eyelids down, gently. “Go to sleep my love, my life. Dream of us.” She sighs and snuggles her head against my chest and it’s not long before I hear her light breathing.
Damn, I’m so lucky.

The next morning I find her gone from my arms. I stretch, do my bathroom stuff and head downstairs. Walking into the kitchen she’s sitting at the table eating pancakes and talking with her mom and dad.

“That would be great! Since I can’t really be around all the paint fumes anymore, I could be working on getting all the things needed. Mom will go with me and I could at least pick out the paint color for you.” She smiles and pops a piece of bacon into her luscious mouth
. I can’t help but lick my lips at that. Damn!

Shaking my head out of my lust filled mind, I walk over to her, lean down and kiss those lips and then head over to get a cup of coffee. “What’s great?” I pour myself a cup and lean against the counter and take a drink.
Fuck, I needed that.

Pax looks up at me and pushes her fork filled with pancakes into her mouth and chews quickly. “Dad’s gonna help paint the baby’s room and Mom and I are gonna go shopping and get the furniture, bedding, things for the walls and decorate it when he’s done. Do you want to help pick out the furniture and stuff with us?” I chuckle, my eyes wide and I take another drink.

“Oh, no beauty. You and Beverly go ahead. I need to work on getting the studio back to where it was before the fire and I’m gonna work on finishing the basement. I’d like to get that done soon, you know, for entertaining.” My cocky grin appears and one eyebrow raises of its own accord. She gives me her sexy look, wink and continues to eat.

“I can help you with that too, Tucker. I’m pretty handy when it comes to building and refinishing, if I do say so myself,” Alan tells me as he walks over to get a refill on his coffee. “It won’t take me long to paint the baby’s room, so I’ll have time on my hands to help you.”

And the plan was set in motion.

* * *

“Oh! Mom! Look at this!” Mom follows behind me as I run around the baby store in the next town over. “This would be perfect on the walls with the paint color.” I hold up a framed plaque and she takes it from me smiling.

“That’s beautiful. It reminds me of you when you were a baby.” She sighs and looks at me, and I can see the moisture in her eyes. “Oh, sweetheart. You were such a spoiled little girl, even at such an early age, but I loved spoiling you. So did your dad.” She curls some of my hair behind my ear. “You know we really have always wanted what’s best for you.” Nodding and silently crying, I grab her and squeeze her tight.

“I love you, Mom.” We’re still drying our eyes as we pay for everything and head back to our town and to the Café. We decided after all that shopping some good food was in order. Betty greeted us and took us back to a corner booth and hands us menus.

“’Bout time you ladies came to the Café. It’s been too long, Paxton dear.” I made the introductions and Betty left to get us some drinks. My phone started ringing so I quickly took it out of my purse and smiled when I saw who it was.

“Babe, I haven’t been gone that long. I…”

“Oh, you better be ready ‘cause there’s a very mad and gay fireball headed your way. He. Is. Pissed!” Tuck shouts in my ear.
Oh, no! I completely forgot about Marcus! Shit!
“He already gave me a black eye and stormed outta here like he was on fire. Seriously, the dude’s smoking pissed!”
Ut, oh! Wait!

“He gave you a black eye? Really?” My eyes move to the front window and see Marcus walking to the front door. “Gotta go, babe. Put ice on it.” And I hung up. Quickly, I slide out of the booth and run to the door to head him off.

“Bitch!” He yells as I grab his arm, looking around with a fearful smile, and pull him down the small hallway where the restrooms are. Placing my arms on his, I push him against the wall. “Girl, you have a heap of explaining to do. Running off and getting hitched and no word to your bestest friend in the whole world. What in the hell possessed you? And, your hotness of a man, not even telling me either. Well, I gave him what for. You better be glad you’re pregnant and that I don’t hit girls ‘cause I’m so pissed right now!”

I put my hand over his mouth to shut him the hell up. “Dammit, Markie. Let me get a word in edgewise, will ya?” His chest is moving up and down as his breathing is rapid from his verbal explosion. His eyes close as he tries to calm his breathing down and finally reopens them and nods slightly. “Good. Now, look here. We didn’t do it TO you, we did it for US. We couldn’t wait. It was a spur of the moment kinda thing, ya know?” I remove my hand and cross my arms around my waist. “I love him, Markie. So much it hurts. We just wanted to hurry and make it official. We just…”

He pulls me into his arms, his hand rubbing up and down my back and he starts crying into my shoulder. “Awww, I just love you, my Queen. I didn’t want to be left out and when you didn’t call me… I guess I felt like you just forgot me. Moving here, your parents back in your life and you just have everything now, all your dreams have come true and I…”
