Romeo wasn’t content to stand idly by while Jules stripped him down. He pushed the straps of her dress past her arms until the material bunched at her waist. Jules

stopped the work on his shirt to push her dress off and made a move to finish undressing him, but he stopped her.

“Shhh.” Romeo grabbed both of her hands. His large fingers wrapped around her wrists as he pinned her against the door, trapping her. “Lemme just look at you for a second.”

Jules’s breathing was rapid. Her heart was beating fast and furious against her chest, but she didn’t fight his hold. The pause let her feel just how desperate the longing really was. The echo of her heartbeat throbbed between her legs, and she curved into him instinctively as he stared at her body, searing her skin with the passion in his hot gaze.

“You’re beautiful, Juliet.” He groaned, still studying her in front of him wearing nothing but sexy, black lingerie and high heels.

She couldn’t find a way to respond. She was mesmerized with how he looked standing there, restraining her hands. His shirt hung open, showing off the smooth, tanned contours of his powerful chest and the ridges of his hard abdominal muscles.

She felt like she was going up in flames, burning with the need to touch and feel everything all at once. She shifted again and tugged halfheartedly against his hold on her wrists, but the truth was she didn’t fight too hard. A part of Jules liked the idea of being held down by this big, powerful fighter who made her feel soft and feminine in a way she usually didn’t. As out of character as it was, she savored being forced to wait and ache for him, feeling every nuance of breath while she fought for sanity.

The very air crackled with the sexual energy vibrating between them. One wrong move threatened to set off a chain of events that could destroy what they both were before this moment—the danger, the lust, it was intoxicating. She’d lie to herself later, but in that moment she felt it, the fabric of her life being ripped open by this beautiful man, and all she did was stand there enjoying the ruin.

When he did let go of her hands, it was only to reach behind her and undo her bra.

He pulled it off impatiently, making it obvious his attempt at slow indulgence had 52

failed. He tossed the bra aside, his gaze landing on her bare tits, making Jules’s nipples pucker in anticipation. He bent down as his hands ran up her bare back, forcing her to curve into him. Jules moaned, her body tightening with eagerness for the first hot, wet feel of his mouth on her, and she wasn’t disappointed.

She threaded her fingers into his hair and held him there as he sucked one pink nipple into his mouth. The way his teeth lightly scraped against it, the rumble of his groan against her breast, it collided inside Jules, making the moment completely visceral. Her entire being respond to him as if it was instinctual—a force of attraction so overwhelming that denying it never even entered her mind.

Romeo moved over to the other breast, sucking on the taut nipple with the same starved appreciation, and Jules found herself weak-kneed in response. When he slid his hand past the lining of her panties without an ounce of warning, she had to let go of his hair and clutch at his shoulders.

He moaned from the feel of her, stroking and exploring Jules for a few agonizing moments before he pushed two thick fingers deep inside her. She was tight from going so long without sex. It almost hurt, but she savored the ache as Romeo curved his fingers upward to find that sweet spot inside Jules that made her cry out.

“Shit, you feel good.” Romeo licked his way up to the curve of her neck as he fingered her. His breathing was sharp and raspy as he whispered in her ear, “How hard is it to get you off?”

“Not hard.” Jules panted while pushing her hips against his hand, helping him.

“I’m close. I’ve been on edge all night.”

The sexual tension from dinner had her wound so tightly she felt like she’d shatter at any moment. She tilted her head to the side as Romeo’s thick fingers pushed in and out, fucking her with a distinctive rhythm that pulled small, choked sobs of pleasure out of Jules with every stroke.

“Get off on my fingers.” Romeo breathed against her flushed skin as he started rubbing his palm hard against the folds hiding her clit, making Jules gasp from the dual

sensation. “I wanna see you come. Do it for me, and I’ll get you off with my mouth next.

You want that, Juliet? You want me to taste and tease you until you’re coming against my lips?”

Hell yes, she wanted it. She would’ve told him so if his words hadn’t made the pleasure burn brighter, stealing her voice, taking her very breath as she continued to shamelessly push her hips against his hand. The ecstasy built at the base of her spine and radiated into her limbs until her entire body pulsed with it.

She was shaking and sweaty as she hovered on that amazing precipice where everything was golden. It was such a surreal place, one found only when the collision of attraction and pleasure was just right. Knowing she was experiencing something impossible to find on her own, a part of her wanted to savor it as long as possible. She stopped fighting for release. She dug her nails into Romeo’s broad shoulders. Gasps of pleasure burst out of her, but she held still in a vain attempt to appreciate the moment.

“We got all night.” Romeo nipped at her neck, his fingers still stroking her unrelentingly. “You don’t gotta hold back, baby. Gimme what I want.” Romeo was completely city-crass and demanding and hell-bent hurried to get to where he was going—but Jules was so in tune with him she found herself giving in to his demands despite wanting to fight against them. She came violently, crying out as the pleasure burst inside her. The destruction of it was pure Romeo, fiery and all consuming, leaving a wake of shivering bliss as it tore through her. She was loud, calling out his name, begging and praising as the ecstasy crashed over her in wave after wave.

Jules was spent in the aftermath, still too dazed to be embarrassed at just how wet and needy and responsive she’d been. She’d made that entirely too easy for him, and she might have gathered her senses to explain herself if Romeo hadn’t swept her up in his arms like she weighed nothing.

He strode into the other room with her before Jules could form a complaint or pull herself together. It was something that should’ve made Jules feel awkward and 54

uncomfortable. She was too big to carry; both her bathroom scale and her doctor knew she was no pixie. Barefoot, she was five-eleven and though she was fit, she was also muscular and that tipped the needle more than most realized, but Romeo wasn’t a lightweight either. Quite the opposite, he was a professional UFC heavyweight and it showed. It made her feel soft and feminine in a way she never had before and until this moment she hadn’t realized how desperately she needed the experience. Instead of fighting it, she savored it by wrapping her arms around Romeo’s neck and enjoying how nicely they fit.

The room was large and opulent in grand Las Vegas style, with a separate bedroom that was twice as big as the one she had back home.

“This is a nice room,” Jules observed as Romeo laid her down on the king-size bed.

Romeo smirked and leaned over her. His hands buried themselves in the comforter on either side of Jules’s head as he studied her. “Are you gonna hurt me for saying you’re worth it?”

Jules shook her head, her voice cracking with more emotion than she wanted it to be. “No.”

“I want this night to be special,” Romeo admitted, sounding embarrassed as he did. His gaze ran over her for one hot moment before he sighed. “I need it—something nice. Something to make life feel like it’s worth living, you know?” Two nights ago Jules had been celebrating this man’s defeat. She had shouted in triumph when Clay laid into Romeo viciously enough to be crowned heavyweight champion of the world, and everything about the moment had been amazing. Now the memory nearly ripped her heart out, and the realization was as bizarre as everything else about this night. She couldn’t give Romeo Wellings a heavyweight belt, but she could give him one night if that’s what he needed, because Lord knew, Jules needed it too.

“Lemme see you,” Jules whispered as she ran one hand up his arm, tracing her fingers over the powerful lines of his bicep through his white shirt. “All of you.” Romeo pulled away from her and stood to loom over the bed—tall, dark, and sexy—as he undid the cuff links at his wrists. He set them on the nightstand and then pulled open his shirt confidently, looking like a man who knew he was attractive.

“You too.” He stared pointedly at her panties. “Even trade, skin for skin.” Jules leaned up and undid her garters. She shimmied out of her panties as Romeo tossed aside his shirt. It wasn’t even close to an even trade skinwise, but Jules wasn’t exactly shy and Romeo did look amazing shirtless. Then she was pulling off her heels as Romeo leaned down to tug off his shoes and socks. She thought of leaving on her stockings, just for novelty reasons, but something in her wanted to be completely naked with him.

The comforter was scratchy and hot, so Jules worked at pushing that down to the bottom of the bed. She was crawling back to the pillows, tugging out her gold hair clip along the way, when Romeo reached into his pocket and pulled out a box of condoms.

He tossed them on the bed next to her, and Jules couldn’t help but look at the brand.

Stark naked, still on her hands and knees, Jules grinned like the Cheshire cat.

“Those are big-boy condoms.”

Bare-chested and barefoot, Romeo held out his hands and looked down at himself as if it were obvious. “I’m a big boy.”

Jules flopped onto her back, not even bothering to hide her anticipation. Her cheeks hurt from smiling as she snuggled into the bed, feeling alive and enthusiastic because she’d always had too much energy to be normal. She placed her hair clip on the nightstand and then eyed Romeo expectantly. She took in all of him: big, broad chest made of rock-hard, massive muscles; the deep ridges of a defined eight-pack; the small trail of hair that led beneath the waistband of his dark gray slacks. She licked her lips as she eyed the outline of his dick, hard and straining for freedom.

“Let’s see it,” she said, still smiling broadly. “Skin for skin, that was the deal and that’s all I got going here. There ain’t nothing left to show, only what my mama gave me.”

Jules even kicked at the edge of the comforter touching her calf, pushing it farther down the bed to make sure all of her was visible in fear of him welching on their deal.

Jules was an admirer of fine male bodies, and they didn’t get any finer than Romeo

“The Gladiator” Wellings.

Romeo laughed at her antics and shook his head. “Not exactly timid, are you?”

“Not a day in my life,” Jules confirmed. “Bold is my middle name.”

“I like that,” Romeo said, his voice low and husky with desire as he studied her sprawled out on the bed, hair fanned out over the white pillow, long legs bent, spread apart eagerly. He even tilted his head to eye the thin, blonde strip of hair between her legs. “You really turn me on, Juliet. I don’t think I’ve ever met a woman who turns me on like you do.”

The sincerity of that statement rang true enough in Romeo’s voice to cause a shiver of anticipation to wash over her. Jules stared at him, suddenly fighting to breathe past the fresh onslaught of desire. The teasing was done, replaced with a white-hot rush of longing that seemed a thousand times stronger now that she was naked and waiting.

Jules held out her arms, and Romeo quickly undid his pants. He pushed them past his hips and then stepped out of them before crawling into bed. Jules wrapped her arms around him. She slid her fingers up the smooth, hard muscles of his back before tangling in his hair. The feeling of his warm, powerful chest against her bare breasts was amazing, and Jules instinctively brought his mouth to hers, needing to connect with him. He still wore those tight, ass-hugging black boxer briefs that made him look like a male model, but Romeo took over the kiss, pushing his tongue past Jules’s lips before she could think to complain about the barrier between them.

Romeo was heavy, crushing her to the bed as he got lost in the meeting of their mouths, in touching her and exploring Jules’s naked form as she wrapped her legs

around him and tightened her hold on his hair. She opened wide to his domination, letting him claim her mouth in the same wild, demanding way she wanted him to claim her body.

She arched her hips up to push them against his cotton-covered erection impatiently. Jules tried to slake the pulsing lust in the kiss, but it boiled over quickly as they moved against each other like horny teenagers, trying to get off on friction alone.

She was burning for him. She’d never felt so empty, so needy for that full feeling of a thick cock stretching her. She reached down to cup his firm ass. She forced him tighter against the vee between her thighs, digging her nails into the muscular cheek to make her point.

Romeo groaned in response and broke the kiss. Panting, he leaned over to kiss her neck, licking his way down the line of her collarbone. “I promised you my mouth.”

“Forget it. Don’t worry ’bout it.” Jules moaned, still shifting against him because his large body felt so good over hers. “I just want you in me. Trust me, I’m gonna come without it.”
